Simplifying ExponentsAjouté :
Hi, this is your math guru. To simplify the following, I'm going to start by changing or writing my base in exponential form. This becomes 16 is 2 to the power of 4.
Still raised to the power of 8 plus then I'm going to change my 4 to 2 to the power of 2 always to the power of 16.
Applying the power to power rule, this gives me 2 to the power of 4 * 8 is 32 plus 2 to the power of 2 * 16 32. I'm going to factor out 2 to the power of 32. I'm left with 1 + 1.
2 to the power of 32 1 + 1 is 2 and that's raised to the power of 1. So therefore my final answer will be 2 to the power of 32 + 1 33. Thanks for watching. Bye.
