Every SCARY MOVIE Movie Ranked 👻 (Leading up to Scary Movie 6)

[00:00:00]What is up you guys? Today, Scary Movie 6 is coming out this weekend. And you know what that means? I rewatched all the scary movie movies and today we're going to rank all five of them. Um, I was going to include the two haunted house movies. I just want I didn't I didn't put them in this ranking, but I want to quickly shout out those because those are also made by the Wayne's brothers and they're also really funny.

[00:00:21]I love the first one. Don't really care about the second one, but quickly wanted to shout out this uh Haunted House franchise cuz that's also a great franchise for you guys to check out. But Scary Movie 6, this has one my most anticipated movie for the summer. I am so excited for this film. So, of course, we ought to watch all the movies. And you know what? I'm going to give you guys my scores and my ranking. Starting off with number five. And starting off with number five in fifth place, we got Scary Movie Five. Oh my gosh, dude.

[00:00:52]This movie is awful. Scary Movie 5 might be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It is paring uh paranormal activity uh black swan and we have a ton of jokes in here. Now this movie I think is only like what an hour and 20 minutes and literally 20 minutes is the credits.

[00:01:08]So it's literally an hour and that hour feels like four. It is so awful. Like the jokes just don't land. There's honestly I can't think of really anything funny within this movie except for maybe the media joke. There is a media joke and that did make me chuckle but they kind of remove all the characters in here. This movie does have a like the beginning joke with Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan is so awful and bad. This movie is PG-13 and I got to say the scary movie movies can't be PG-13. They got to be fully rated R.

[00:01:39]Those jokes need to be extremely dicey and that's what makes me laugh. That's what I love about the scary movie movies. They aren't afraid to make anyone feel bad. They aren't afraid to say, "Hey, we're making fun of you." The acting performances are terrible, dude.

[00:01:54]There is a full scene with Snoop Dogg and Mackie Miller, which rest in peace, but terrible acting performances from both of them. And they are just talking so much. And like obviously they're probably getting banked because this was made by Paramount. And this is when Lil Wayne's brothers weren't attached to it.

[00:02:11]And this wasn't even directed by I forget who directed three and four, but the guy that directed three and four actually kind of made them funny. He he kind of did make them a little bit funny. These are just not it. And there's nothing funny about this one. I can't believe how bad this movie is.

[00:02:27]Moving on to fourth place, Scary Movie 2. Scary Movie 2 is definitely a big upgrade from Scary Movie 5 and not much though. I'm giving this movie a 23 out of 100. I I understand a lot of people love this movie and this was obviously attached with the Reigns Brothers. So, I understand that there's that love attachment to it, but I I think this movie is really just paring like haunted houses. I couldn't really think of like a movie that it's really paring. And I feel like the scary movie movies work best when they're actually paring or making fun of movies that are from like a movie, you know, like they're actually making fun of movies. This one just felt like its own kind of story. I could definitely sense like films like 13 Ghost, Clue, and a bunch of just haunted house films. I don't know. Like it just there wasn't really anything. There were a few jokes that make me laugh in here.

[00:03:16]Like obviously the Beetlejuice joke. I think the most uh funny joke within the film is the small hand joke where you got the guy who's like, "Take my small hand. It's my strong hand." There's the basketball joke in here, which obviously they're making fun of within the mo uh promotions for Scary Movie 6. That doesn't really make me chuckle that much. There's the parrot joke. I don't know. It just this this really I feel like because of how great the first one is, watching this after it, you're like, "Ah, this just doesn't make me laugh as much." Even though we have most of the original cast from the first one, like the Wayne's brothers, we have Anna Ferris in here. And like, yeah, it's good. It's just I don't know. Like, it's just it doesn't really do it for me. And like I said, I think my one of my biggest problems is I don't know what the movies that they're paring is. I don't know if I haven't seen enough haunted house movies to know, but there's definitely nothing that's like super in your face except like maybe like Poltergeist and stuff. Scary Movie 2 doesn't really do anything for me. I'm sorry. Getting into third place, we got Scary Movie 4 with a 40 out of 100. I actually kind of do find this movie a lot really funny, even though I will say the story is very much all over the place. Brenda somehow returns like Palpatine from Star Wars, even though she dies in the third film, but yet somehow her death and coming back alive makes more sense than Palpatines's return in Star Wars. I really like the intro to this film. This movie opens up with the whole Saw sequence, Dr. Phil and Shaq, and that's hilarious. And I think this movie honestly is at its funniest whenever we have Leslie Nielsen within these movies. Leslie Nielsen is in this film and he is so funny. during the United Nations sequence because this movie follows mainly War of the Worlds and a little bit of the village and Saw which are all very random films to be following. But when we follow the world of the worlds, it's probably the worst part. I don't like the guy who's like this dad with his two kids. It's really boring. I wasn't a fan of that at all.

[00:05:09]That kind of took me out of it. It was like eh like I feel like he was the worst part of the film and it wasn't really funny at all. But whenever we get to see the village stuff, that's funny.

[00:05:17]And the opening Saw stuff's funny. But towards the end, we get to see more Saw and it's just not really doing anything.

[00:05:23]It's revealed that Jigsaw is the alien in like the War of the Worlds thing at the end and it's like, eh, doesn't really work that well. Um, but I think it's a very funny movie when it comes to Leslie Nielsen, but it's it's just whatever. It's a 40 out of 100. It's definitely not great. It's not good at all. It's pretty bad. U, but you know what? My number one and my number two are the funniest ones. So, let's move over to number two. Coming in second place, I got Scary Movie 3. This movie is hysterical to me. This movie follows a story line of signs, which I don't even like like Signs that much. The uh might Shyamalan movie. I don't really love it that much. It follows that and it follows the ring. Um, which I I do like The Ring a lot, but the jokes in this movie are so funny. There's a whole massive uh sequence of 8 Mile and we have the guy and he's rapping with the other guy and they're rapping pretty good. You're like, "Oh my gosh, this is actually really interesting." And it goes on for a long time. You're like, "What's the joke here?" And he puts the hood up and it's like, "Dude, oh my gosh, I couldn't had me laughing out loud." This is when we get Charlie Sheen thrown in the mix because obviously the Waynees brothers were gone from this picture. um they were only in the first and second movie and in the third movie they were gone. But I will say I do enjoy the third movie a lot. I do enjoy this film quite a bit. The whole film we get Leslie Nelson. He is the president of the United States and he is saying that everyone's an alien and punching people that obviously aren't aliens and like saying, "Hey, you're an alien."

[00:06:52]When they revealed the aliens who they are and stuff, the aliens are like, "No, we're here to help you because there's a crazy lady that's like the ring." Which that's the whole thing is the ring. And at the end when the aliens are coming to help, they're all like peeing from their fingers and stuff. And then Leslie Nelson's doing it. And you're like, "You're an alien. You were just beating up a bunch of people for that. What?"

[00:07:10]But obviously, let's move over to the best scary movie for now cuz I think Scary Movie 6 could possibly beat this.

[00:07:16]Scary Movie 1. Um, a 79 out of 100 for me, which might be too low. I honestly should rewatch it real quick before seeing the new one. This is the best scary movie. If you're going to watch any scary movie, you're always going to watch this one. This is the one that is fantastic. It is paring Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer. There's also a few little other sequences with like Matrix and stuff. It's really funny. The jokes in this are nonstop.

[00:07:42]It's literally quip after quip. The ending is phenomenal. Honestly, the ghost face within this is the greatest ghost face we've ever seen in any like television or TV anything or movie. He gets away with everything and it's revealed that it's Doofy. He is the killer. Now, obviously Doofy is in the new movie, so I don't really know how that's going to work because this movie is technically a sequel to the first one. I don't really know if that's true or not, but I'm pretty sure I absolutely love Shorty in this film. I absolutely love Brenda. I love Anna Ferris. I think this movie definitely has a ton of jokes like that where it's like right there next to the line where like you don't know if you could laugh at it or not.

[00:08:21]And honestly, every single joke in this movie makes me laugh. I think it's one of the best parody movies of all time.

[00:08:26]Those are my thoughts on the scary movie movies. I can't wait to see Scary Movie 6. I am extremely excited for it. It's going to be fantastic. I'm a little nervous because I will say um when they say that, oh, everyone's going to be crossing the line. It's going to be making fun of everyone. I hope the jokes are actually thought out and not just there just to make you upset. I actually want to laugh at these jokes and not be like, "Well, you only did that joke just to make me mad." And like, I actually want them to make sense. You know, that's my only concern, but I think it's gonna be great. They're clearly making fun of a ton of different movies. So, Scary Movie 6 is fantastic. The last scary movie we got was Scary Movie 5, which was awful, and that was all the way back in 2013. So, I'm so excited for the parody movies to be back.
