The Romeo and Juliet effect is a psychological phenomenon where relationships become more intense when faced with opposition from others, driven by two mechanisms: psychological reactance (the human need for autonomy and free will, which makes forbidden things more desirable) and the misinterpretation of excitement and stress from secrecy and conflict as romantic passion. True love should not require constant opposition to feel alive, as relationships built entirely on defying others are like fires built on paper—they burn hot and fast but don't last.

Hello lovely sweeties. Happy Tuesday and welcome to Sweet Date. So these days wholesale table wear market which is in soul is getting a new kind of attention. It's no longer just a place to buy those plates and bowls at a good price for many people in their 20s and 30s. It has become a fun little treasure hunt. Maybe taste is not only about food anymore, but it's also about what we put the food on. So, with that, let's get today's weekday started.

up there in the sh.
[music] [music] That was Love Me More by A Pink. And A Pink always has that bright, easygoing energy that makes you smile without even noticing. And the title here, Love Me More, is kind of honest, too. I mean, who doesn't want to be loved just a little bit more, right? So, hopefully that song kind of gave your Tuesday a sweet little boost. And hello, sweeties.

Hello. Hello, Kie. Hope you had a great holiday. Is it a holiday over there um in China? Uh maybe not right. You just had your normal day on Monday. Uh what did you do without listening to Sweet Date? [laughter] [gasps] Um yes. And also Travis is checking in as well saying hi. Hi yen guys. Hello Travis. Um yesterday it was kind of sunny but somehow it was really like humid for me. So it was the first time I turned on the air conditioner in my place and yes that kind of like made [sighs] the room kind of I don't know freshy.
[laughter] Yes. But I mean like what can we do without the air conditioner, right? I'm so worried about the summer. Are you guys worried too? Um, I heard that it's going to be like really humid and really hot this summer compared to last year. I believe like last year was really hot for me too. Like I couldn't survive without those cooling uh spray if you guys know what I mean. Yes. But what about you guys? Do you have a way of surviving this uh sweltering heat?
Also, we have uh let's see, Benny coming in saying hello Y and everyone. Hello, Benny. I hope you had a great holiday.
Um, also Cayanim is checking in saying hello Yi. I believe this is uh one of the PT here. Oh, right. And I believe she moved to the States to study overseas and hello Gan if I'm right. If you're not, then welcome to the show.
Thank you so much. Um, yes, and Hungim is saying, "Thanks for asking. in Gio is a tightly scheduled trip with many agenda because he was on a business trip guys in a short period but I guess that's what business trips usually are shortly I got my task done with no one getting hurt [laughter] that's good to know thank you for sharing and thank you for checking in even after your busy days and also Jini is checking in saying hi happy Tuesday online shopping so you guys definitely know what we're going to be talking about today. Right.
So earlier uh we kind of talked about how wholesale table wear market which is becoming popular again among young younger generations and shoppers. And I think what makes this trend interesting is that it's not only about shopping.
It's about the joy of just looking around. And these days many people can buy almost anything online, right? In just a few clicks. But sometimes that is too easy. You search, you compare, you order, and that's it. And at a place like Nam Deun, the experience is kind of different. You walk through those narrow aisles, pick things up, check the pattern, imagine your food on that plate, and suddenly a simple bowl feels like a small expression of who you are.
And it also shows how young consumers are changing. They still care about price of course, but they also want something that feels personal, something with a story, something they discovered themselves. And a mug is not just a mug anymore. A plate is not just a plate. It can be a tiny piece of your daily mood.
Right. So, oh yes, we have a picture up on YouTube. Uh see, take a peek of inside the namoon.
>> [laughter and gasps] >> Yes. So, now it's time for question of the day. Are you guys ready? Would you rather shop online quickly or walk around and discover things slowly? Let me repeat the question once again. Would you rather shop online quickly or walk around and discover things slowly?
So, that's our question for today. I'm sure a lot of you love to go shopping, right? Um outdoor, but some of you think I think it's more convenient to just shop online with the several clicks, right? Because these days, I mean, it's so easy to get just that stuff that you need, right? Um let's say if you were to buy a jacket, would you guys like compare prices um just in 30 seconds and get that online? Or would you like to go into several stores just try out some jackets that you think is cool and try to like compare by looking at yourself in the mirror? H So what do you guys think? If you like if you just need one stuff, I guess you can just buy it online, right? And I'm sure that if you're a parent listener like hanging you out there, if you remember you need something the next day for your kids, right?
Because uh they don't let you know until the last minute. So you're like, whoa, I got to get that all for the [laughter] for their activities the next day, then I think online buy would be the best thing, right? Um, but if you are a big shopper, I mean, you're a bargain hunter just like my mom, [laughter] you love being out and the experience itself becomes a fun part of your life.
I mean, you can actually touch and try things at the store, but sometimes there is a sign that says do not touch, right?
[laughter and gasps] But if you actually like find out that your favorite sweater online wasn't that um furry or something that wasn't a good quality as you thought it would be. Uh for me whenever I buy a lotion uh I try to look up online but then you know how it's ranked number one online but then when you actually smell it for yourself you think m that doesn't you know match my scent you know what I mean because for me I like the cozy scent but when I smell it and smell like jasmine or something really strong then I don't necessarily buy it right. So what about you guys? is I want you guys to share your story.
Okay? So whether you like to shop online quickly or walk around and discover things slowly. So send in your thoughts by texting us anytime through um message pound 9050.

[music] Now it's time for K-pop Dispatch. And here we take a quick look at what's new, exciting, and trending in the world of K-pop. First song that we have for you today is Smile Boy by Roy Kim. Roy Kim recently released his first remake album called Bloom Again, where he brings back several familiar songs in his own warm and emotional style. And the song Smile Boy is one of those tracks getting attention because it feels like a bright, nostalgic, and very Roy Kim, if you guys know what I mean, at the same time. And the original song already had that hopeful, feelgood kind of energy, but Roy Kim's version adds a softer, more grown-up kind of comfort. And it's the kind of song that makes you want to smile a little even if your day has been busy. And next up after that, we have Braum Talki by Copy. So, Kabi is already known for her powerful dance, you know, bold personality and that unmistakable queen type of energy, and now she's bringing all of that into her first digital single. And this song has a funky disco bass sound. So, right from the start, it feels playful, confident, and full of that movement. And what makes it even more copy is the message behind it. It's not just about looking cool on stage. It feels like a song about freedom, confidence, and fully enjoying who you are. So, on that note, here come two songs back to back. First, we have Smile Boy by Roy Kim and Braum Talk by Copy.
>> [music] >> If you got [music] [music] [music] >> [music] >> She [music] could be in your smile.
[music] [music] each other.
[music] No, I'm [music] [music] >> [music] >> Iana [music] [music] [music] smile.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> I'm going to do [music] [music] [music] I >> [music] >> What a wonderful your life.
Oh.
[music] [music] Oh.
[music] Oh. Oh.

[music] You're [music] [music] at that.
Just keep it up like that. Every [music] make still being trying myself [music] a midnight. I like that. Watch yourself up with the I turn it on. [music] It's my second chance. Don't forget what I'm saying. Feel it in [music] my bus again. Let your high and take my hand.

I want to [music] hold you cuz I need you.
[music] I want to hold you. I need you.
Sounds like you burn [music] it up every time until you make it mine. To me, I keep pleasing. Let the music [music] play all night long and feel me.
Oh, that heart [music] it crazy how you make me feel trying a midnight. I like that. Watch your step up with the door. I [music] risk it.
Turn it on. It's fine. Take a chance.
Don't forget what I'm saying. Feel it in my bus again. Let your high and take my hand.
>> [music] >> Your favorite room taken. [music] [music and singing] [music] You [music] bring me joy all day. Feel the groove. You bring me joy all [music] day. Feel the groove. Say want to fly again.
Every little [music and singing] joyful scenario [singing] your favorite party hit the floor. [music] That's me all night. Room tak.
[music] You just listen to these songs back to back. Smile Boy by Roy Kim and Braumaki by Kabi. And I'm sure that you guys know her uh Kabi as a famous Korean dancer and choreographer from the dance Kurach Chica. And I remember seeing her on this famous uh dance show which was called Streetwoman Fighter, right? Well, I saw it long after it was aired. Um but still like she was super talented in dancing and something called like whacking uh which is like a street dance style uh with those fast arm movements, right? I thought that was really cool. Right. So if you guys haven't checked it out, you should definitely do because like she is just like the queen of the dance world.
Seriously. And before we continue, here's one more quick look at today's question of the day, which is, would you rather shop online quickly or walk around and discover things slowly?
So that's our question. So you can send in your messages to pound 9050 and remember each message cost 10001.
You can also reach us for free through cacao talk. So type in BEFM or puzzyang add us as a friend and you can send in your message there. And we're also live on YouTube. So if you want to see what's happening in the studio, go ahead and type in the same name and join us in the chat room. And we have lots of messages coming in today. Thank you guys. And we also have Jinly name saying online shopping.
I know it saves lots of your time and money, right? You can easily compare and contrast the products online and there are so many like good descriptions there, right? But if you go into the store and try to like see it for yourself, my mom always takes her glasses with her [laughter] so she could get a better look at those ingredients like for food for instance, right? Um, also we have Kayim saying, "Yes, I am."
Oh, welcome. Welcome. Ah, I'm so happy that you're here with us. How's everything there in Boston? How's the weather there? because in Busan it's kind of getting humidity and yes but I'm happy though. I mean Massachusetts I haven't been there in my life so I'm curious what it's like over there. Thank you for tuning in and saying howdy Boston. I'm craving for some lobsters and I didn't know if it wasn't for you.
Um Boston is famous for lobsters guys.
Wow. Did you guys know that? H and she's saying oh weather is so nice. I'm so happy to hear that. Enjoy the sunshine, right? I mean, you can lie down on those grasses, right? And read a book. Just feels like a dream come true moment, right? [laughter] [gasps] And also checking in. Hello.
Saying, "Hi, Inji. I always and will prefer to walk around and visit shops to buy stuff instead of online. Online shopping is just for emergencies for me." Ah, I see. So sangim is a person who likes to just, you know, stroll around and kind of look at it for her or himself, right? Oh, I see. Wow. I am that type of person too because like if I have enough time, I would like to go there and see it for myself, right? Um when you buy like a fresh products for instance like fruits or you know uh veggies, I think you know buying in store is better for me. But nowadays, I mean, the quality online is super good, right? So, I was surprised because I had a chance to order that online, but then I got the strawberry and watermelon and it was really good. I mean, it was super sweet. So, I was surprised by that. And also, we have Danny uh checking in saying, "I rather shop online quickly accept the expensive and unfamiliar products." Ah, I see. Right. Um if you go into the store though um sometimes what's good about that I personally think that you can get a rare find right um even for cafes I love going into cafes and reading read a book or you know do some work over there but you can find like this great cafe hidden in the alley right when you look around so I think that's the beauty of just you know shopping at stores right also we have kim saying John and kany Maybe that's because you're in Boston.
[laughter] [gasps] Everything seems so fun in Boston, right?
Yeah. So, we have lots of messages coming in, guys. Oh, thank you so much for all these messages. I'm going to read throughout our show, so don't worry, guys. And Drift Monkey is checking in.
That's a good word play. Oh, yes. And also, Zeronim is checking in from India.
Hello. Hello. And also Cosmo Chim saying, "Wow." [laughter] Oh, what what about my glasses, guys? Do you like it? It's falling down because my nose.
Yes. And this is disaster for me. Yes.
Anyway, guys, uh we have our Dr. love coming in very soon because we have her love psychology 101. But before we do that, we're going to go listen to this song, Toxic Till the End by Rosé.
[music] Call us what we are toxic [music] from the start. Can't pretend that I was in the dark when you met my friends.
[music] Didn't even try with them. I should have known then that you were jealous and possessive.
So manipulating [music] honestly impressive.
You had me participating back then when I was running out of your place. I said I never want to see your face. I couldn't wait to see it again.
We were toxic [music] to the end. Cuz even when I said it was over, you hurt.
Baby, can you pull me in close to you to stay in my head? We were toxic till the end. Ladies [music] and gentlemen, I present to you the X.
His favorite game is chess. Who would ever guess? [music] Playing with the pieces in my chest. Now he's on the screen [music] saying, "Don't leave." You stole that line from me cuz you're just jealous and possessive. [music] So manipulating honestly [singing] impressive.
You had meated back [music] then when I was running out of your pace. I said I never want to see your face. [music] I couldn't wait to see it again. We were toxic to the end. It's even what I said it was over. You hurt. Baby, can you pull me in close to you? [music] Stay in my head. We were toxic till the end.
I can't forgive you for a lot of things.
For not giving me back my Tiffany rings.
I'll never forive you for wanting my dear. You're wasting my previous year.
Back then when I was running out of your place [music] I said I never want to see your face I meant I couldn't wait to see it again we were talking [music] even when I said it was over you hurt baby can you pull me in close to you [music] stay in my head we were toxic till [music] the end we were toxic till the end and and [music] welcome back to Love Psychology 101. And joining us to decode the mysteries of romance is Jimmy.
>> Hello. Hello, Jimmy in the house.
[cheering] >> Hi, Jimmy. How's everything with you?
>> Everything's good so far so good. I'm just happy to be here. I love your outfit, by the way.
>> Same same to you, too. I mean, I love your glasses.
>> Oh, thank you.
[laughter] >> Who was it? Monkey. Oh, drift monkey was saying.
>> Yeah. So, um, how was your holiday?
>> Uh, it was it was pretty good for me to just rest, but then it was more about work.
>> Yeah. But but it's okay.
>> Yeah. But we should be grateful that we have a lot of work, right? [laughter] >> For sure. So, um, today we're talking about kind of like shopping related topic.
>> Um, so I know that you you do too.
>> Yeah. [laughter] >> So, would you rather shop online quickly or browse around at a relaxed pace for you?
>> Honestly speaking, I was never into online shopping period. Yeah, especially in terms of clothing >> like outfits. I must go to the store and then I must to try them on >> to check the size and everything >> and the length. Yeah.
has like long legs, right? It's way up there.
>> Thank you. [laughter] I'll take that as a compliment. Yeah, that too. And also shoes and everything. I just I'm the type of a person who must try them on >> and kind of like see myself through the mirror and then oh, I I got to check whether it suits me or not.
>> Somehow like you give off a vibe that you're the type of person who likes to compare things online >> and just make a best buy there.
>> Yeah. So for in terms of online shopping like those just like regular necessary goods like in terms of groceries and stuff I would just yeah order them online >> but uh otherwise I must go and then that kind of gives me the vibe >> to just look around the surroundings >> and kind of ease through and relaxes me just to like chillaxing vibe you know.
>> Right. Right. Oh that's a good answer.
So anyway, um today I guess we are talking about a new topic, but last week we kind of talked about the greeneyed monster jealousy, right?
>> Yes. [laughter] >> But we got over that. Now, what kind of passionate topic do you have lined up for us today?
>> I mean, yeah. Today's topic is [clears throat] Romeo and Juliet effect, the allure of forbidden love. We all know Romeo and Juliet. And have you ever noticed that if a parent or a group of friends completely opposes a relationship, uh the couple somehow just becomes even more obsessed with each other. And today we are actually exploring why obstacles and opposition act like gasoline on the fire of romance.
>> Oh.
So today we're going to be talking about Romeo and Juliet effect guys. Oh, so the classic us against the world kind of mentality. Um, for you, Jimmy, I want to ask you sometimes like you know how your friends or people around you kind of date >> um someone that makes you think, huh, really? You know, have you ever experienced that kind?
>> Of course, pretty much all the time.
>> Yeah. But I don't really say anything to them because I mean when I was like back in teenage years, I used to tell him or her >> he or she's not the one, you know, you got to move on.
>> But it kind of like backfires me, you know.
>> [laughter] >> what what do you know about my girlfriend? Right.
>> So, ever since that learned the lesson and then I'm like I'm just I just kind of I have that look >> that they could figure you know >> you give that lookers you can tell.
>> Yeah.
>> Wow.
>> And then and then if they kind of like walk through me then I can just like give deeper explanation.
>> If they're like what do you know that kind of attitude then I just zip it.
>> Yeah. [laughter] >> But you still have that look. Sure, sure, sure, sure.
>> Right.
>> So, I guess like there is some reason why we do this, right? Tell us the reason why we kind of >> like tend to hold on tighter uh when people around us tell to like reject >> because I mean sometimes the opposition itself becomes part of the romance and the relationship just starts to feel uh special simply because it feels different.
>> I see. So the struggle can make the love story kind of feel more dramatic than it really is. Right.
>> Yeah. I mean and that is where psychology gets very interesting.
>> Right. And Travis is saying >> totally true. Right. Yes. And I heard that the psychology kind of kicks in here. And what is the core concept behind this?
>> Yeah. I mean it boils down to a core concept called psychological uh re reactance and humans actually have a deep-seated need for the autonomy and free will and when someone actually tells you that you you cannot have something or cannot date someone and your brain just to perceive it as a threat >> to your freedom. So to reclaim that freedom, you uh >> in instinctively just rael and desire the forbidden thing even more. And it's the uh exact same reason a child wants the toy they were just told they can't play with.
[snorts] I see. We I think we often run into a child at the supermarket wanting something really bad and the parents are like, "Nope, >> just let them cry."
>> Right. [laughter] >> Sometimes you have to be that way.
>> Yeah. You cannot just listen and then buy everything for the kid.
>> Oh, so true. Right. So, it's not even like necessarily about how great your partner is. It's about proving that I get to make my own choices and with those free will. Right.
>> Exactly. The partner might not have changed at all, but the moment someone says you can date them or they suddenly seem more attractive.
>> I see. So now moving on to our second one. Uh I know that first quirk behind this Romeo and Juliet effect was the brain perceiving as a threat to our freedom. Now what would be the second reason? Yeah, there is a second psychological trap here. Misreading excitement and sneaking around, keeping secrets and arguing with your parents causes intense physical stress and your heart races and your palm sweat and your brain just misinterprets the adrenaline and anxiety as intense romantic passion and you confuse the excitement of the drama with the excitement of the person.
>> Yeah.
I see. It might just be stress sometimes. Right. Oh, now guys, we are going to take a music break and when we come back, we're going to do a little mini skit that's related to today's Romeo and Juliet effect. So, please look forward to that. And here's a song to get you through the day. Here is Chitty Chitt by Taru.
I [music] see. I see. I feel love.
>> [music] [singing] >> There he gets [music] [music] captain. God [music] has I feel love.
[music] might go [music] there. [music] [music] I see. I feel love.
[music] >> [music] [music] >> He know [music] yourself to die yourself.
[music] I see. I feel love. [music] >> [music] >> at the [music] head [singing] of the cat.
Welcome back, guys. That was Jitty Jit by Tu. Such a cute song. And you guys are listening to Sweet Date. And we're in the middle of Love Psychology 101 segment here with Jimmy in the studio.
Dr. Love. [laughter] >> Dr. Love. Jimmy here.
>> Yes. Julie was saying, "Hello, Jimmy.
Love your shirt."
>> Thank you. Thank you.
>> I know. It's like a checkered plaid shirt, I guess. Yeah. I love the color on you.
>> Thank you. Thank you. All right. And we have lots of messages coming in um talking about Romeo and Juliet effect.
So, would you like to read one of us?
>> Yeah, sure. Daniel [clears throat] Lee Nim said, "I usually cherish things that I got in a hard way, whatever the worth is >> and yeah, I completely agree >> with the comment."
>> So true. Right. Yes. And also Travis is saying they um sorry, I'm scrolling.
They might feel like the protagonist of a drama if people around them oppose their relationship. Right.
Oh, also we have a message from Would you like to read that for us?
>> Yeah, sure.
Oh, her husband is smart. I know, right?
I think this happens to people when somebody like in their family opposes to their relationship probably.
>> They're like, "Okay, um, don't meddle in my relationship from now on." Right.
>> So, it's it's more like a threat.
>> I know. And that actually happened to some [clears throat] people, right? So, they stay single until they're like 50 or 60 and their parent is like, "Okay, >> you're warming down, right?"
>> Yeah. They they cannot say anything.
>> So true, right? So anyway guys, thank you so much for all the messages and I guess like I remember seeing the scene like in one of the famous drama called uh Secret Garden.
>> Oh, Secret Garden.
>> Yeah. And you know how like Kyin's mom >> um is like a big >> like a rich lady >> from a big conglomerate >> and she opposes to and and their love kind of gets stronger and stronger, right? So that's like the Romeo and Juliet effect, right?
>> Right. I cried >> while watching that became like so dramatic.
>> I was more likely into fashion [laughter] like Oh, Italian, right?
>> I wonder how much that cost.
>> I guess you're te [laughter] Okay. Oh, I'm not sure about that. Okay.
So, anyway, we're going to go into today's mini skit. So, what kind of dramatic forbidden love are we observing in today's mini skit, Jimmy?
>> Yeah, we are listening in on two friends and one of them is dating a guy that her entire family uh despises and she is fully convinced that their struggle is a sign of true destined love.
>> So, I guess I'm the one dating the Romeo here. [laughter] Me. All right. So, here goes today's skit.
Jimmy, my dad yelled at me again last night. [music] He told me if I keep dating Mark, he's cutting up my credit cards and it's so unfair. They just don't understand our love.
>> Ah, Yunji. Mark literally borrowed your car without asking and [music] got a speeding ticket. And your dad has a point. [sighs] >> You don't get it either, Mark. It's just a free spirit. I mean, the fact that we have to fight so hard just to be together, it just proves that our love is meant to be or like Romeo and Juliet.
>> Oh, cut it off. You know, Romeo and Juliet dated for like what, 3 days and it ended in a double tragedy, right?
>> Whatever. The more you guys try to tear us apart, the stronger we get. I'm going to pack a bag and go see him right now.
Ah, please don't pack a bag for a man w with an unpaid spitting ticket.
>> You're just proving my point.
>> No, it's a it's a tragedy.
>> Oh, I actually have a backpack right here. I'm ready to pack and go.
[laughter] >> Hey, if you really want to meet him, though, >> he has to pay for that speeding ticket and then you guys have to like move on.
>> Jimmy is back in the house as my older brother.
>> Yeah. [laughter and gasps] >> Yeah. So I guess you know how can but like there must be some reason like how can people tell if it's actually a true love or just suffering from the Romeo and Juliet effect though.
>> I mean you have to ask yourself a very uh difficult question just to take away the drama and the snaking around and the opposition. Imagine your parents and your friends absolutely loved this person and approved of everything and would you still be in app with him? Or if the relationship just suddenly seems a bit boring without the conflict then your passion was filled by a real labeling and not genuine connection.
Oh, so if Hin's mom [laughter] wasn't to disagree, um, then I think their love might have turned out differently, I guess.
>> Ah, yeah. Maybe. Who knows? Yeah. Who knows, >> right? Without those obstacles, maybe they probably get into another confliction for like other reasons, >> right? Who knows, >> right? Yeah. Uh so I guess this is such a sharp test. Um remove the drama behind it and see what is left. Right.
>> Exactly. I mean the real connection usually becomes clearer when things are calm. But relabeling often needs conflict to stay exciting.
>> Right. So if peace makes the relationship feel empty, that is a warning site right there. Right.
>> Yeah. A very important one.
>> That's a very brilliant test guys. So if we look at this Romeo and Julia effect from friends perspective or parents' perspective um how would we warn someone without accidentally like pushing them closer to the bad partner? [laughter] >> You have to avoid triggering their psychological reactants and don't say you have to break up with him or her he's terrible. Instead ask ask like guiding questions and let them see the flaws themselves like how did you feel when he did this he did that or do you feel respected >> like support support the person not the relationship and by just removing the uh pressure >> you're you you remove the need for them to rael against Oh, I think this is relevant in relationships, right? And supporting them. Uh, and this makes so much sense.
So I mean like if you attack the relationship by saying like no or reject that I think they defend it even harder >> for sure. I mean but if you stay close to the person they may feel safe enough to be honest >> right and there's a song very famous song guys love is an open door.
[laughter] >> Yeah yeah yeah >> right. So instead of trying to win the argument you have to keep the door open.
Right.
>> Yeah. And sometimes the most helpful thing is not a dramatic speech but a calm question, >> right? I mean, uh, support the person, not the relationship. That's a wonderful quote that we all should remember and advice for anyone dealing with a stubborn friend out there, right?
[snorts] >> Yeah, for sure. And >> yeah, >> so what would be the final takeaway for our listeners today? Jimmy, >> a relationship built entirely on defying others is like a fire built on paper and it burns hot and fast, but it doesn't last. So true love shouldn't feel like a constant exhausting battle against the world. Don't confuse the adrenaline of drama with the depth of real and lasting romance.
>> Right? So if the main thing holding two people together is the fact that everyone else is against them, it may be time to kind of pause and think.
>> Yeah, totally totally uh agree. And love can face challenges, but it could not need constant chaos to feel alive.
>> Ah, perfectly said. So real love is a safe harbor, not a battlefield. And um to this uh topic that we're talking about today, Danny is saying, "So to keep saying don't study hard to my son or daughter can be a kind of good strategy. Don't study hard, right?
That's going to make them study even harder." Who knows, right?
>> Just go with the flow.
>> Yeah.
>> Sometimes.
>> But I think just the feeling of getting a rejection somehow that kind of triggers them to be even more dramatic or um extreme. So on that level I think you should just remain it in an average level right.
>> Yes. And saying yeah there's a reason why people say no, right?
>> Yeah. Because those close friends or family really do cares about you. So I mean you're the one at the end of the day who's going to make that decision.
But it's really uh important to actually listen to their advices and opinions.
>> So true. Right. So anyway, uh Jimmy, thank you so much for the insights today and I had such a fun time with you.
[laughter] >> Same to me, too. [gasps] >> Yeah. So, we'll see you next week.
>> All right. Have a good one. See you next week.
>> Okay. And that wraps up the first hour, everyone. Hope you guys enjoyed it. And here is Serenade by Boy Next Door. And we'll be back at 1:00.
>> [music] [music] >> No more next chance. [music] Just do it.
>> [music] >> My just for you.
[music] I love you, baby.
>> [music] >> I swear you like it. [music] I relate. Oh, I don't know why you like it. [music] I relate.
>> [music] >> I'm going [music] [music] to love you, baby. [music] >> [music] >> I swear you might be in my playlist. [singing] [music] I love you, baby.
>> [music] [music] >> I swear you like it.
[music] >> [music] >> I'll get a long shirt for you.
>> Nothing is noting fire.
Swaving fire.
[music] Oh. Oh.
[music] [music] My darling rhyme [music] [music] [music] girl would show [music] you my hearting fire. Our sweet fire is [music] a point make it small and 80 And [music] yeah, so cheesy freezy [music] [music] baby.
You ain't girlfriend. [music] I'mma show you.
My arms fire one time. Mama cried on a falling night.
Mhm.
[music] [singing] [music] [singing] >> [music] [singing] >> talk like myself. [singing] I'm just trying to get your attention. I like when you push back [music] when you push back. Push back.
attention lesson. Yeah. Push that. Push back. Push back. Push that. Push that on me. One time. [music] [music] Push back.
looking [singing] on your [music] mind.
Get better.
[music] [singing] Talking more.
[music] [music] I'm just trying to get your attention. I like when you push back, push back [music] when you push back. Push back in [music] my lemon.
[music] [music] [singing] [music] Push back. Push back. Push back. [music] Push that on me one time. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah.
No one.
Push that on me one time. One time.
Yeah. Yeah.
Push back. I like when you [music] push back. Push back.
When you push back, [music] push back. Give me your attention.
[music] [music] >> [music] >> That was Push Back by Atart. And that song has such a bold and cool vibe. It feels like the kind of track that you would play when you need to reset your confidence. Maybe after a busy morning, a stressful message that you got, or just one of those days when you need to say, "Okay, I've got [clears throat] this." So, if you needed a little reset button today, I hope that song did its magic for you. Now that we're moving into part two of today's sweet date, we've got a fun lineup ready for you guys. And later on we're going to bring up the energy with Flashback featuring upbeat Korean dances from the '9s and 2000s. But before we jump into all of those segments, we're going to come back to today's question of the day, which is, would you rather shop online quickly or walk around and discover things slowly?
Which one do you guys prefer? So, send in your message through pound 9005.
And remember, you can send in your photos too, but the message cost 101 each. Uh, you can also message us for free on Cacao Talk by searching BFM orang at us as a friend and send in your message there. We have Benny names saying for me, I choose the letter walk around and discover things slowly. And the reason is because I love to discover a lot.
[gasps] And he capitalized the letters I love. Right? I guess you know there are some people who love to discover and see it for themselves right when like back in the days when this new album came out people used to run into those stores right and try to get those CD um CDs and I don't know like DVDs when the movie came out right so definitely yeah that is the joy of shopping right offline and also Kanye was saying in China we buy almost everything online except food online shopping is usually cheaper because there are discounts and while stores are more expensive. So true, right? And when you have to carry around that shopping grocery bags right all around um whenever I buy those pasta sauces like those tomato ones u it's really heavy.
Yes. Even though I sometimes lift the weights um at the gym um it's really hard for me to carry around those I don't know like two jars those glasses, right? I think it's really hard. So, sometimes shopping online would be even convenient for you, right? And Travis is saying, "I usually do most of my shopping online, but when I'm dating, I also enjoy going out and shopping offline together." [gasps] Ooh, I see.
Ah, yes. When you take your girlfriend, I think, you know, it's not about the shopping. It's just about spending time together, right? Ah, yes. That must be really fun. And getting to know each other more through that shopping experience, right? And also when he was saying, so she's listing two reasons why she prefers online shopping. And to name one, she has a lot on her plates. I don't have enough energy to do that.
Second of all, whenever she goes into stores, it's hard for her to keep herself from making unnecessary purchases. Oh, that's so true. Right.
But the thing about me is that whenever every like something is on sale all of a sudden, right? You have to run for that.
[laughter] [gasps] Yes. Uh sometimes that's the joy of shopping offline, right? So anyway, thank you guys for sending in all your messages. And we also have Drift Monkey saying, "Walking and looking for me. But if it's car parts, the excitement of waiting for them to arrive is one of the best parts. Unboxing, right? If you have those packages outside your door waiting for you to be opened, I think that's the joy of your day, right? [laughter] [gasps] Also, we have Jin, [gasps] I know it's hard. It's like tempting you everywhere, right? you didn't need that like item but then all of a sudden oh it's on sale and you want to buy it right [snorts] and zero was listening from India saying tomorrow here it was 43° C somewhere it was 47 and to this kind saying how do people survive in 40° C weather I know right seriously like Travis has said I would have melted too [laughter] [gasps] so make sure to have those cool patches.
Um, I'm sure there are lots of ways to survive, but these days I've noticed that there's like a cool patch for your forehead. Something that sticks your forehead. I thought that was really interesting. Yes. Ah, so anyway, give us some tips on how to survive the sweltering heat. [gasps] And Pikini is checking in as well. Hello. Hello, Pikin. Thank you guys for all your messages. I'm going to read some more throughout our show. So, keep sending it in. Now we're going to go listen to this song. And here is Style by Hearts to Hearts.
[music] [music] Easy [music] to play with.
[music] I just want to get close to you.
Get up on this. [music] Hey.
>> [music] >> 1 2 3. Maybe you make me smile.
[music] time [music] and I like your sound cuz you're just my type and I like your time and I like your [music] [music] >> [music] >> got something baby.
[music] I just want to get close to you.
[music] Good.
Get up on [music] this. Hey >> [music] >> 1 2 3. Babyile one of a kind. You got it. Cuz you're just my time and I like [music] your cuz you're just my time and I like your time. D.
Yeah, you're just my time and I like [music] your [music] >> [singing] >> Baby, you [music] make me smile. You make me smile.
Don't tell me why.
You got it. I just want time and I like your just like that [music] just like that and I like [music] your >> [music] >> Happy Tuesday, May 26th. And for byte-size mentor, we have Andrew here.
>> Hi, everybody.
>> Hello. So, how are you >> doing? Great. How are you?
>> I'm good.
>> Um, I'm sure that there's like a little dream >> for you.
>> Okay.
>> If you were to have your own >> a zebra. [laughter] >> You want a zebra in your room? You said a dream. So I'm >> a fire breathing dragon.
>> Okay. So if you >> if you could build like a room to yourself.
>> Oh, this is what we're talking about today. Nice.
>> So just briefly, don't give out too much. What kind of room would you or did you want to have as a little kid?
Andrew, >> this is kind of a loaded question. I don't know. Um >> never thought of one.
>> I don't know. I need to think about it a little bit. We'll come back after our skit cuz I think it also would depend on like your age.
>> Like me now compared to me when I was probably the same to be honest, but [laughter] I I don't know. But yeah, let's let's get to our skit and then we'll talk about it.
>> Okay.
>> Tada. Welcome to my new house, Andrew.
If you pull this specific book on the shelf, >> a secret door opens. Tada!
>> Whoa! Oh, this this a secret cinema >> or are you just watching everybody?
>> I don't know. A hidden vault for your treasures?
>> Even better. Come on, walk inside.
>> I'm a little nervous here, Yuni. Uh, this is just a giant closet filled with cleaning supplies and vacuum cleaners.
>> Exactly. A secret room dedicated entirely to keeping the rest of the house perfectly tidy. Isn't that beautiful?
>> I This just really it cemented my thoughts on you being weird.
So guys, if you could build a secret room in your home, what would it be used for?
So that's our question. I mean, if you like there's a lot of scene like this in the movie where you pull a book and the door opens.
>> Sure.
>> I always were wishing for that.
>> Cleaning supplies.
>> No, no, no. Not clean. [gasps] No. It's going to be my secret room where I can do some secretive stuff. You know, spy on Andrew.
>> This is uh surveillance cameras everywhere. It's like watching Andrew. Where is it going with that? You know, >> everybody, [laughter] I thought that she was like this. This is just >> That's creepy, huh?
>> Oh, well that's your middle name.
>> Okay, thank you.
>> Yunji creepy.
>> Oh, man. Okay. Glad I didn't have an English name. Okay, so um secret room in your home. What would it be used for?
You said it kind of differs from the age group that you're in.
>> Let's say for um young kids. Okay. Okay.
If we were to be younger, >> if this was if it was me >> like age like 10 to 15, >> it would be a room with a giant screen for video games.
>> Oh.
>> And that like but I don't know if it has to be secret >> cuz I'd want other people to play. You know what I mean?
>> Yeah.
>> Uh something like that maybe.
>> For me, I always wanted to build a treehouse.
>> Yeah.
>> Like as in the book, right?
>> We we I had one. [gasps] >> Not in my yard. Like I grew up Okay. I grew up in a city but like a little bit on the outskirts of the city. Listeners, when I say outskirts, it doesn't mean outside of the city. It's still within the city limits. So, if we took Busan for an example, maybe you're thinking like like Janguan >> or like >> Yeah. Gjang area like like out in that area, right? So, it's like there's lots of forests and stuff like that. And we would build like camps and stuff in the woods, drag wood in there, cut down trees and do stuff. It was all right. It was fun.
>> Oh. Have you ever had like a treehouse on top of the tree?
>> Well, these were in the trees. Like we built it in the tree.
>> Yeah.
>> I mean, I don't know how safe it really was. And then like my dad would come to my brother and I'd be like, "Hey, where's my hammer?"
>> And like we'd be like, "Uh, Mike, where's it at? It's it's in the forest."
>> [gasps] >> Oh.
>> And then my dad, he would look at us and just like the sun would almost be going down. He'd be like, >> "Go get it." And we're like, >> "Get to go into the forest at night.
What are you talking about?
>> There might be wolves in there.
>> Somebody."
>> Oh, yeah.
>> And then, but we would run, get it, come back. Or a saw or like a little axe.
>> It was like It was We had like a great toolbox.
>> Coming out of the forest at like 12 at midnight, right, with this saw.
[laughter] >> Yeah. Amazing.
>> With his pet wolf, right?
>> Yeah. But maybe like if we're thinking secret room, maybe we could think that it's just like a room that's not >> visible for everybody else. Kind of like you pull the book and it takes you into a room like a surveillance room, right?
I would love if there was like that and you went in there was a hockey rink [laughter] >> or like a basketball court or something like that.
>> That's totally random. But these days I would say I would love if in my house or if I had a secret room I if we use the book analogy pulled the book and it slid open and it was like a speak easy.
[gasps] >> Oo, >> you know what a speak easy is. So our listeners speak easy is is typically it is like uh it doesn't have to be jazz music but I mean it's like a bar or a pub and it's usually hidden. And this would be, you know, way back in the day when it was prohibition and alcohol was banned, you could go in these places and still get these kind of things.
>> It's like a hole in the wall.
>> Exactly. Exactly. There are a few of these in Soul that like look like this or like they they built it on this style. Um, but I I think that would be super cool, >> but it would maybe be like Yeah, we got some photos up here now.
>> Maybe not so much like that. Maybe more like a like a sports bar feel cuz I definitely want TVs like >> the screens >> to watch hockey, football, whatever it is. Uh for events, but just a place where like my buddies and I could go.
>> Oh, >> and you know, we're in there for however long and it's not a big deal.
>> Happy days. If you go like if you watch 007 or those kind of movies, you know how they like go into like this container box or something and then they walk in and a door leads to another door and then you know you walk in and you get those kind of bars, right?
>> Yeah. Or if you take like what was it uh Black Panther and they did the one in in Jagali and then they walked in and then it was like the casino or whatever it was.
>> Yeah, exactly. Oh, I thought that was interesting. Um, and I heard that most of the guys, like even my friend's uh husband, like he wanted a private gym like for an empty room that they don't use >> before the baby was born, right?
>> Yeah. Yeah. Sure. Or like I think the word also you'd look for would be like man cave.
>> Oh yeah. It's like the one where like you got a big TV, you know, the the sofas or I guess you could have a bar there as well or like the the chair you can like the one chair you can sit and lean back in it. That kind of stuff. But yeah, man cave where you know you just nobody's going to bother you. Oh, there's your secret room. Be's all over it.
>> The dolls, right? Dress them up. That would be so fun.
>> Seriously, I wouldn't walk out of that room ever. Oh, >> it it reminds me of like a lot of little girls these days are are all about the the momo pings.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> So that or the the secret ding dang like the princess thing. So yeah, that's kind of >> I would brush their hair.
>> Get out of here, Barbie girl. [laughter] >> That's enough out of you.
>> Yes. For me, uh, personally, if I could build like a room in my house, >> Sure.
>> I would definitely want a walkin pantry.
Okay. Yeah. I think for me if if you took my life right now, it would be a place where myself or my wife >> could escape.
>> Like no, no, no. Not I'm not saying like her and I together, meaning like because even though she's like, I'm going to go and relax or lay down for a bit.
>> The kids are Oh my.
And I'm just like, leave your mother alone. [laughter] She's been in the bedroom for like five minutes. Like I'm guarantee she was almost asleep and now she's not gonna get back to sleep.
>> So, and similar to me or if I need to get work done like a soundproof room >> and just be like great >> just yell in there.
>> Oh, I Yeah. Or like what what are those things they call them? Like smash rooms.
You go in and break stuff. [laughter] >> But I don't want to clean it. Stress.
>> I don't want to clean it though.
>> Oh, you just want to smash everything.
plates and glasses and TVs [laughter] >> with the sound performance.
>> Oh yeah, definitely.
>> I was like, >> "Yeah, [laughter] >> definitely. 100%."
>> Yes. Oh, okay. So, that sounds really fun. So, if you could build a secret room in your home, what would it be used for? Let's give us some ideas to our listeners. What would be another room?
Soundproof home.
>> Just your own kind of like office.
>> Oh, >> you know, where you could have whatever you want. your own cinema, TV, viewing room, whatever it is. Okay.
>> Uh maybe uh but also like have your pantry idea in there as well. Your secret snack like cabinet >> like a convenience store.
>> Oh yeah. Now you're on it. Now you're on it for sure.
>> And your self-control goes to die.
>> Yeah. [laughter] Yeah.
>> Yes. So coming back to today's question, guys. If you could build a secret room in your home, what would it be used for?
So, that's our question for Tuesday. So, anyway, guys, send in your answers and we'll see you tomorrow. Bye >> bye.
>> See you.
>> See you everybody.
>> All right, that was today's byite-size banter segment. And coming back to today's topic, guys, if you could build a secret room in your home, in your house, what would it be used for?
We've been getting great answers. Um, I was kind of thinking about my answer. I mean, people kind of dream about those secret libraries and sometimes underground bunkers, right? Um, but what would be your most relatable secret room for you? I mean, for um, young listeners, I mean, it can be like a projector, right? have it in your room, have the favorite movie on on the screen, and some somehow like have enough space for both depression and your hobbies. Um, if you are in your 50s or 60s, I guess a cozy hobby room, right? full of the things that you absolutely enjoy having around uh with your favorite pet [laughter and gasps] or um for me I was thinking a singing room [gasps] because um whenever I go into a singing room you know those coin places where you can just like you know put in some coins and you can sing like two songs or five songs right in a row.
Um when there's like nobody there and I walk in and try to practice my song, it's so embarrassing, [laughter] right? Um cuz like you can hear literally hear what someone else is singing in the next room, right? So I try to find the furthest um room from the entrance [laughter] if that ever helps. But if I were to have a singing room in my place, that would be super nice. the soundproof right walls. That might help a lot because once like sometimes you're in your car and try to practice your song still people uh walk by and can hear you. Oh, that's embarrassing. I wish I had a great voice to kind of you know when it comes to sing. Ah yes. Um or maybe for me a bathroom where nobody else knows about a secret bathroom, right? Oh yes. So let's see what our cities are saying about today's topic. We have Drift Funky saying secret room would be gaming cave, computer, consoles, big TV, bean bag, comfy couch, and mood lighting. Oh, that sounds pleasant, right? And you wouldn't walk out of that cave forever.
Yes, it sounds like those um uh the internet cafes. Yes. Which guys love, right? I once remember like walking in there trying to finish my project on something and all the people around me were like um playing games.
[laughter] So I thought that was an interesting culture right that guys tend to have. Um Jenny loves music is checking in saying Oh, I see a secret room where she can enjoy her music, right? Have it on really loud and just write journal in her diary and kind of, you know, snack.
H, that sounds really good. What is your favorite snack, Chenini? [snorts] Yes. Yesterday, you know how it was holiday and I was trying to like snack on some things that I've been meaning to do, but then I was like, maybe not, right? [laughter and gasps] I'm kind of saying I turn it into a gaming room so I could immerse myself in games more. I put things like VR setup, controllers, a racing simulator, and more in there. Just thinking about it makes me excited. Oh my gosh, you guys have all the plans listed out. That's that's wonderful, right? You guys already have your secret room.
Yes. Oh. Um, maybe if you guys were to stay in the same room uh without the light, how long do you think you guys can stay in there? Oh, seriously. Like for me, I need those sunshine. So, I would just run out of there in just an hour. Even though I really love that kind of room as well. I remember like going to my friends um they used to have this like gaming cave normally in their basement, right? So I would just go into the basement floor and I would often find my friends playing games with their siblings and I was like, "Oh yeah, I need to get out of here just in an hour, right?" Because I was dying to see the sunlight. Yes. And Dra Funky is saying, "Ahah, all the boys will be saying man cave gaming room, right?" Uh, I guess it's a guy's thing, right? For girls, I think it would be like a h what would it be? A great wardrobe.
No, cosmetic room. That would be awesome, right? A little wardrobe of your own with lots of cosmetic products.
That would be neat for me. Right. And for Benny, he's saying, "I would build my gaming and TV room to watch wrestling on net and for [gasps] Ooh, this is what my grandpa used to do [laughter] whenever I visited his place. He would have the wrestling on on TV and I would be like sitting there and watching wrestling with him. I'm like, why is he punching that guy so hard?" I was so lost. And Travis is saying, "Wealthy people often have tongum, which is an audiovisisual room in their houses, and I'd like to have one if I were rich.
What do they do in there? Like audiovisisual room? Do they play something?" H I'm curious. And also, um, Benny is saying, "I'm a sports guy like Andrew, too. So, I need to catch up on everything. So, that is why I need a secret room." I see. Ah, so since World Cup is coming up soon guys, maybe you guys want a room where you can watch that forever, right? [laughter] And Jenny loves music is saying surround music system. Oh, that must be really nice with the, you know, high bass, right? Oh, yes. And is saying, I'd make a secret snack room with chips, chocolate, and noodles. Oh, sounds so good. When life gets stressful, I'd hide in there and come back healed. Ooh, and look puffy, right? [laughter] Yes.
Yes. My stomach is growling at the moment. So, if you guys hear something um bothering while I'm speaking, that's my stomach. Okay, just a heads up for you guys. Now, with that, thank you so much for all your messages, guys. And we're going to go take a quick song break. And here is Loser by AB6.
>> [music] [music] >> Why don't you tell me You got [music] me on my knee.
>> [music] >> I'm kid [music] you [music] [music] loser.
>> [music] >> to the light enough.
Yeah. A little loser loser.
[music] No way. I [music] go >> [music] [music] >> Melody [music] [singing] [music] loser. loser [music] la.
[music] [music] Every day, every night you falling down, [music and singing] getting up, starting now.
[music] [music] I'm a loser.
Yeah. I don't care. I don't care.
I'm alone.
Get in the loser.
[music] Loser. [music] >> [music] >> Yeah, loser loser. I like it.
[music] And now aside for Screen Bites, where we learn everyday English expressions, their scenes from movies and TV shows.
And this week we're continuing with an animated film called Kung Fu Panda. And yesterday we met the character named Po at the very beginning of the story. So he was late for work because he had been dreaming about kung fu adventure and becoming a hero. But in real life, Po works out of father's noodle shop. And his father, Mr. Ping believes Po's future is already decided, which is noodles, noodles, and more noodles. So, in today's scene, Po starts to ask a bigger question. He asks his father if he ever wanted to do something different, something outside of the noodle shop, something beyond the life everyone expected him to live. And surprisingly, Mr. Ping says that when he was young, he once dreamed of something else besides noodles. So, let's check out the actual scene lines from Kung Fu Panda. And this is a conversation between Po and Mr. Ping.
But Dad, uh, didn't you ever, I don't know, want to do something else?
Something besides noodles?
Actually, when I was young and crazy, I thought about running away and learning how to make tofu.
So, why didn't you?
Because it was a stupid dream. Can you imagine me making tofu? Tofu?
No. We all have our place in this world.
Mine is here and yours is I know it's here. So with the scene dialogue, here goes today's expression.
We all have our place in this world. We all have our place in this world.
So this is a thoughtful and meaningful expression and we're going to break it down. Have our place means we each have a role, a position or somewhere we belong. And in this world means in life, in society or in the bigger picture. So altogether we all have our place in this world means everyone has a role to play.
Everyone has somewhere they belong. Each person has their own path or position in life. So coming back to today's scene, Mr. Ping says this because he believes his place is at the noodle shop. But to Po, running the noodle shop may feel a little limiting. And Po is not sure if his place is really in the noodle shop.
I mean, he loves his father, but he also has a dream that keeps pulling him in another direction, which is kung fu. So, let's now see how we can integrate today's expression in our daily conversation. Here's our first example.
I don't know what I'm supposed to do with my life. Don't worry, we all have our place in this world. You'll find yours. Here's our second example.
What if I'm not meant to do the same job as everyone else in the family?
That's okay. We all have our place in this world. Here's our last example.
I feel like I don't fit in here. H maybe this isn't your place. We all have our place in this world. So with that, coming back to today's expression, we all have our place in this world. It's a beautiful expression when you you want to talk about belonging, purpose, and life direction. And in Kung Fu Panda, this movie, Mr. Ping uses it to explain why he stayed with his noodles. But for Po, this line quietly opens up a bigger question. Hm. Is his place really at the noodle shop or is he meant for something more? So, with that, we're going to wrap up today's Screen Bites, everyone. This week, we'll continue following Po's journey as he gets closer to discovering who he really is. But for now, let's take a short break and enjoy some music.
And here is by Yoda Tingu.

[music] >> [music] >> Welcome back to Flashback, everyone.
Let's bring some throwback energy into the studio with Korean dance songs from the '9s and 2000s. The kind of tracks that make you remember exactly why they were so loved. Up first, today we have Caillou by us. And just like the word freedom, taou, this song has an energy that loosens you up a little and makes you want to escape somewhere, even just in your imagination. And it also has that classic K-pop rhythm and melody from back in the day. So, as it plays, you might feel that old school vibe coming back, especially on a day when you need a quick mood change. A song like this feels just right. And next up, after the song, we have Duya by SC. And the title alone brings a playful sense of curiosity. Who is it? Can sound cute and funny, but it can also carry a tiny bit of jealousy or suspicion which makes the song even more entertaining. And this track has that bouncy energy and catchy melody that many dance songs from that era had. And compared to today's music, the emotions feel more direct and straightforward. And that's the part of its charm. So on that note, let's keep the music going with these two tracks back to back. Taou by us and Nugua by SC.

[music] [music] Yeah.
>> [music] >> I know I >> [music] >> Hope you enjoyed those two songs from today's flashback segment. Taou by us and Duya by SC. And today we've got lots of messages. So I'm going to read some of the things that came in. We had PK name checking in saying hi Yunji. Hello PK. And Danny Lim saying I used to collect the cassette tape and CD albums but nowadays in the era of digital music. It's been a long time since I stopped collecting those. I know right.
Uh I mean like those vinyl records I think those people still kept it in their homes, right?
um collecting the Michael Jackson ones since we talked about a few days ago and also like the Beatles, right? The old collection. I think it's good to listen to them sometimes, right? Um yes and Danny is also saying so to keep saying don't study hard to my son or daughter can be a kind of good strategy and to this kind we have lots of listeners um kind of like relating to that and saying I really saw a dad do this and he taught his son to play games but his son didn't care about gaming and got obsessed with studying instead. So sometimes maybe don't study hard, right? Um if you say that to your kids, maybe that might lead to good um conclusion, right? [snorts] And Travis is saying this is a dangerous strategy, right? I don't know if I can do this if I were to be a parent in the future. Oh yes. and is saying I know sometimes you know if you don't like meddal in the studying uh routine I think they will just do right things on their own right if they know how to handle things really well so yeah oh Anyway guys, thank you so much for all your messages. And that's going to do it for today's sweet day. Hope you guys had fun and thank you so much for being here with me this afternoon. And I hope that gave you a small break from the rush of your day. And before we say goodbye, we're going to leave you with one final song. And here is Rose Blossom by Hi. So take it easy for the rest of your day, guys. Stay healthy. And I heard that it's going to rain soon. So, make sure to carry your mini umbrellas on your way out. And stay well, guys. And we'll be back with you tomorrow at 12:05. Shine your light.
Bye.
