[00:00:42]That's not an exaggeration. That's reality for millions of people right now. People are working full-time jobs and see and still skipping meals.

[00:00:51]Families are paying insane rent prices just to live in tiny apartments.

[00:00:55]Groceries that used to cost $100 now cost $250. And every month feels like survival instead of living. Food crisis, housing crisis, rent crisis. Everything is becoming unaffordable at the exact same time. And what frustrates people the most is feeling like ordinary Canadians are the last priority in their own country. The average person can barely afford groceries anymore. Yet somehow there always seems to be money available for everything except the taxpayers keeping the country running.

[00:01:25]People are exhausted. Young Canadians feel hopeless. Parents are stressed [music] every single day. And many are asking the same question. How did Canada become this expensive this fast? This isn't about luxury anymore. People aren't asking for mansions or fancy lifestyles. They just want affordable food, a safe home, stable rent, and a future that doesn't feel impossible. But right now for millions of Canadians that future feels further away than ever.

So Connor is out there celebrating that the deficit is much lower than expected. I mean, we get that. We know that he's very, very good on paper, but my question is, where is this money really going? Who's benefiting from it?

[00:03:25]Because last time I checked, Canadians are still struggling to survive in this country. They're still living paycheck to paycheck. They still cannot afford their basic necessities. Right now, the month is about to end in the next couple days. And some people are out there trying to figure out where they're going to get the money to pay their rent. So, while you're out there celebrating, Canadians are struggling. They're suffering. They're dying. So, if you look good on paper and people are struggling in this country, then it means that something is not right.

[00:04:50]Um, I don't approve for what's happening with my money that I'm working so for cuz I'm not in it. My bills are growing. I can't freaking afford to exist in Canada anymore pretty much. And like in all honesty, like I probably could if I, you know, put much of my energy into working 70 hours a week and giving a shit about this kind of a lifestyle, but I truly don't. Like I truly stopped giving a shit about contributing to this system. And that includes doing my yearly income tax. It used to be a time of joy cuz I used to get a lot of money back. But in the last several years, I've had to pay. And I'm not going to continue to pay into a system into a government that is just creating life like just creating a lot of difficulty in our lives in Canada.

[00:05:44]like like are we living in a Twilight Zone or something? Um I don't support this government and I don't support this system of you know uh you know just giving so much of my of our energy into a system that just sucks and sucks and wants more. So Canada will be hosting the World Cup and most Canadians will not be able to go because we cannot afford it. I mean those ticket prices are ridiculous. Tickets are going for $300, $800, even $1,500 for one single ticket. I mean, can you believe this? I mean, if the average Canadian cannot afford to experience a once in a-lifetime event like the World Cup in Canada, then who's it really for?

[00:06:29]Because it's definitely not for the working class. It's not for the everyday person.

[00:06:34]Because most Canadians are struggling financially. Most of them are living paycheck to paycheck. Most of them cannot afford rent. They cannot afford food. They cannot even afford their basic necessities.

[00:06:48]And what's really killing me is that people will be coming into this country to watch the World Cup and they will be talking about how beautiful and clean and modern Canada is. But what they don't know is that if they would to take a walk in areas like Queen and Sherban and Dundas, they would have seen a totally different reality. They would have seen Canadians slipping on the streets and on the sidewalks and even intents. They would have seen Canadians struggling with homelessness, mental illness, drug addiction, and poverty in plain sight every single day. And that's what they don't want them to know.

[00:07:27]I could definitely get out of Canada.

[00:07:29]They tax me 54%. So a million dollars I'm paying 540,000 in tax. Then when I go to buy something, I'm paying 15% tax.

[00:07:36]And like when I bought my McLaren, there's a 20% search charge. It's called a luxury tax. I would immediately have like a net worth of it would be like a third up just from moving to the States.

[00:07:46]>> Like think if you buy a million dollar car, I have to pay 150,000 in tax plus the 200,000 on top of that extra. So it's 350,000. Plus, to get that million dollar car, I had to take out 2 million because I had to pay 108,000 or 1.08 million, whatever dollars. So, $2 million I have to make to get1 million, but I actually have to pay 350,000 more.

[00:08:05]So, I have to actually make 2.7 million to buy a $1 million car, >> which is going to go down in value as soon as I drive off the lot. But we have free healthcare. How do you think that's being paid for? And then when I go to the doctor, like after four years waiting for shoulder surgery, that's Yeah. Yeah. We're not going to do it. I don't like the health care system at all. I'd rather have the states where you just pay as you need it. It's just I have so many bad things that I could say about >> Would you live in LA?

[00:08:41]Fuel tax, somebody's got to make a profit still. Capitalism. And we get stuck holding the shit end of the stick and nobody gives a fuck. And I don't care. That's the hill I'm willing to die on. Capitalism is the fucking only reason why we're all fucked. Question for the woke morons out there. Is Canada being colonized right now? Because if Canada was colonized in 1867 from the indigenous by the settlers who had already been here for hundreds of years, the French, the English, the Scottish, the Irish who built this civilization.

[00:09:14]If you're going to classify that as colonization, then what exactly do you classify as what's happening today in modern day Canada as anything but colonization? Vast majority of major cities have gone from 98% white in 1971, from 1867 to 1971. In this country, 98% white to in most major cities well under 50%. The Muslim population has tripled in this country. Most estimates say that there'll be a majority between 2075 and 2100.

[00:09:47]You walk around any major city in Canada. I've lived in Toronto, Montreal, and visited Vancouver, it looks like a totally different place. If this were happening in China, if this were happening anywhere in the Middle East, if this were happening in Africa, you would have the far left woke screaming about demographic replacement, about colonization.

[00:10:10]But of course, when it happens to white people, the woke have nothing to say there. It's about the one ancestry. If you're Scott, if you're Irish, if you're English, if you're French, it's the only group with the woke that you're not allowed to be proud of. You notice that?

[00:10:26]How you're allowed to be proud of any other group, any other sexual orientation, pretty much any other signifier you can have besides the people who built this country. If you're one if you're one of those few groups, you're a racist, xenophobe, sexist from pointing anything out about the rapid rapid demographic shift. Well, wakeup call. If Canadians don't start becoming more conscious of what's going on around them, this country is going to disappear for what we've known it. the the the insanity that's gone on where you are called a racist xenophobe for pointing out that inviting millions of people into this country against the will of the Canadian people has been an absolute disaster economically for young Canadians. It's not racist. It's not xenophobic. It's purely the facts. If you are under 40 years old in Canada, the likelihood that you are doing well financially is incredibly low. And that is a direct result, a direct result of inviting millions of lowskilled, low-wage workers into the country. Basic supply and demand. You invite 1.5 million people in the country a year, you're well only building 200,000 houses, housing prices are going to go up. Housing prices have skyrocketed over the past 10 years. And it's not in line with other G7 countries. Canada is growing at a much more rapid pace. We've gone from an average home price of $430,000 to an average home price of over $700,000. Nearly a doubling in a decade. And that's a direct result, a direct result of inviting 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 million people into the country a year when you're only building 2 to 300,000 houses. This is very basic. Very basic.

[00:12:15]We should not be inviting more people into the country than houses that are being built on an annual basis. Another misnomer that they try to sell you is that, oh, Canada has an immigration system where we only bring in high skill labor for positions we need. That's absolutely untrue. They have open the floodgates up to everybody. To everybody. We have 60,000 people in a link program where they teach new arrivals basic literacy. These are people who don't know how to read or write in any language who are being invited in by the tens of thousands and enrolling in this link program.

[00:12:51]For Canadians who work jobs like at auto shop repairs at Tim Hortons, at Wendy's, low lower income jobs, these salaries have not grown in 11 years. And it's a direct result of bringing in cheap competition. Again, you don't have to be some fancy governor at the Bank of England, governor at the Bank of Canada to figure this out. You flood the zone with low skill, low-wage workers. That is going to suppress Canadian salaries.

[00:13:18]That's exactly what's happening. The last year that Canada had real wage growth was in 2014. What a coincidence.

[00:13:25]That's the last year the Conservatives were in power and we didn't absolutely open our floodgates up. But in Canada, if you point out that this mass immigration is horrific for Canadians economically, horrific for Canadians in terms of their ability to afford a home, to start a family, you crazily get labeled a racist and a xenophobe. Well, if that makes me a racist and a xenophobe, then label me that. I'd rather that than a government that sells me down the river, makes your life harder and harder every single year. And the these statistics are not up for debate. They they can call you all the names that they want, but the stats don't lie. The numbers don't lie. In 1971 in Canada, 55% of 30year-olds were married and owned a house. Over over half. 55%. You know what that number is in 2026?

[00:14:18]We've gone from a country where 55% of 30 year olds could afford to buy a house and get married to 12%.

[00:14:26]It's it's unbelievable. It's unbelievable. And this is a direct result of Canada at a pace unlike any other G7 country except the UK opening up the floodgates and saying everybody from the world. The way that our government announces it, you can just tell they they want people pouring into the country. They advertise they literally advertise when you look on the the government social media channels, they advertise free healthcare to new arrivals. I kid you not. free health care. This is at a time when 6 million Canadians don't have a family doctor.

[00:15:01]The average weight time in an emergency room is between 20 and 24 hours. An estimated 50,000 Canadians are dying in excess a year because they can't get the healthcare they need. I personally know two people that have passed away because they couldn't get the healthcare that they need. And the government of Canada is advertising to new arrivals, our free health care system, on top of I'm doing some digging. On top of all the goodies that are offered to new arrivals to this country that are not offered to Canadians, the system is a complete scam, a complete joke. We already have 44 foreignb born MPs in our government, 12 foreignb born senators, and they're clearly not working on the best interest of the Canadian people. They're working on the best interest of the diaspora that they came from. Whether it's a man Gary Andraagi who wants to collect 2 million legally purchased firearms, man born in Sri Lanka, our minister of immigration, parents from Lebanon, she lived much of our child, her childhood in Lebanon. We have people in our government who are literally working on behalf of other countries, the interest of other countries. The Canadian government should first and foremost exist to serve the Canadian people. This is not rocket science. You walk around any city, people aren't blind. They see the massive change, the massive change.

[00:16:16]It feels as though you're either in the Middle East or India and you're told if you say anything, mention anything about it, your race is Jersey. Nobody gives a shit about your name calling anymore.

[00:16:27]Literally nobody does. The country has become unaffordable. No, no young people can afford a house. Young people are leaving in droves. 40% of the top 10% income earners under 30 have already left the country because it because Canada is so damn unaffordable and they're doing they're doing absolutely nothing to fix the problem. Matter of fact, they're actually making it worse.

[00:16:50]They're inviting more people in, more TFWs, more IMPs. They're not removing the people who are here here illegally.

[00:16:56]There's over a half million people in the country illegally with another 2 million coming up in the next 18 months and they're going to do absolutely nothing to remove them. We have a government working actively against the Canadian people right now. It's time to wake up and send these guys a message.

[00:18:11]Minimum wage, just as a side note, is $1,760 an hour. Currently, an average one-bedroom apartment, and this is an average number, costs around $1,800 a month. That's just your rent. That's not including your utilities, um, parking spaces, laundry, apartment insurance. Doesn't include any of that. Just that that is your rent is $1,800.

[00:18:39]I'm sure if you live in Ontario as well, you know the amount of taxes that gets taken off your paycheck when you get it.

[00:18:47]It's like 30ish 30% that gets taken off for taxes, EIS, deductibles, and all that.

[00:18:57]one single person on average, if you're eating correctly and healthy, if you're trying to do that, not living off of garbage, processed foods cuz it's the only thing you can afford, um, you spending, I would say like $400 on groceries a month for a single person, you know, ballpark. Car payments, insurance, gas money. It's going to rack you up to like 500 bucks plus a month. Let me do some math what we're at here. So $1,800 plus 400 plus 500, which is your rent, your groceries, and your car payments, is going to put you around $2,700.

[00:19:47]$2,700 that you owe that month for basic living. If you work 40 hours a week for $2450 an hour, you make $980 in a week.

[00:20:03]Most people I know get paid bi-weekly.

[00:20:06]So if you get paid bi-weekly, that's $1960 that you get paid bi-weekly and then you get your taxes off, you about 30%. So that brings you down to about 1370.

[00:20:20]1370 * 2, which would be your two bi-weekly paychecks for the month, brings you to a little over 2,700, which if I'm not mistaken, is the amount that you need for your rent, your car payments, and your groceries, not including literally anything else.

[00:20:43]I would just really like to know where that little bit of extra money is cuz that commercial doesn't make any sense. Like how dafted do you have to be as a company to I just did the math sitting right here. How daft do you have to be as a company to make a commercial like that saying that $2450 an hour is enough money to live in this society or at least in Ontario.

[00:21:15]Personally, I think it's a little bit dense of them to post a fucking commercial talking about a little bit extra goes a long way. as if, as fucking if anyone can afford a little bit extra on a wage that pays basic necessities and that's not that is above minimum wage.

[00:21:45]How do you survive if you are living on minimum wage?

[00:21:51]Well, they get to tell you to go to the food banks. They're going to tell you to go and look for supports other places.

[00:21:58]You're spending money to have these supports and and put these things in place, but no one none of the actual issues are being fixed. Like people wouldn't need to go to the food banks if if living was affordable, if wages matched the cost of living. But they don't. They don't.

[00:22:20]Also, all of that is assuming that you get full-time hours, which not everybody gets.

[00:22:28]Unfortunately, people like some people just can't get the full-time hours. It's just really crazy to me that it takes a very simple search to find out that over 70% of Canadians don't believe they'll ever be able to afford a home and then we have these big major corporations shoving this fucking commercial in her face saying that this wage is supposed to be a little extra going a long way.

[00:22:55]>> At the end of the day, this isn't just about groceries. It's not just about rent. It's not just about housing prices. It's about the feeling that ordinary Canadians are falling behind while life keeps getting harder every single year. People are tired of working harder and getting less in return. Tired of watching grocery bills explode. Tired of paying impossible rent prices. Tired of feeling like owning a home has become a fantasy instead of a goal.

[00:23:24]And maybe the hardest part is this. A lot of Canadians don't even recognize their own quality of life anymore. There was a time when people believed if you worked hard in Canada, you could build a stable future. Maybe not rich, but stable. Now, even middle-class Canadians are struggling to survive. Young adults are living with parents longer because rent is impossible. Families are cutting back on food. People are choosing between groceries and bills. And stress has become normal. That's not the Canada people thought they were building.

[00:23:55]Canadians are not asking for perfection.

[00:23:57]They're asking for balance, fairness, affordability, and leadership that actually understands what ordinary people are going through. Because when basic life becomes unaffordable, something is seriously wrong. And the scary part is that many people feel like this is only getting worse. So now I want to ask you honestly, what's become hardest to afford where you live?
