Refusing to provide identification and cooperate with law enforcement during a lawful traffic stop can result in charges such as resisting without violence, failure to display a license plate, failure to carry registration, failure to carry a license, and failure to provide proof of insurance. In this case, a woman was arrested for driving a vehicle without a license plate and refusing to identify herself to officers, which led to her detention, handcuffing, and eventual processing through the criminal justice system.

When a Sovereign Citizen Tries Taking Her Kid to School
Added:You do not need to talk to her. Period.
>> Step down. Know your place.
>> On this ride along, a sovereign citizen says something.
>> A sovereign citizen says some more.
>> And I know y'all don't like to play by the real rules, but >> And an officer decides she's heard enough.
>> Can you please get this boy off of me?
>> I love it. All right, everyone. I'm Frank Slope. I'm a 25-y year veteran of a sheriff's office out here in Arizona.
And today we're going to be doing some body cam breakdown. So, Police Ride Alalongs is a small channel. They put out great videos. If you're not subscribed to them, check them out.
Their editing is good. Their subtitles are good. Their content's good.
Absolutely someone's worth a follow. So, while we're doing this body cam breakdown, we're also going to be playing some body cam bingo. So, today we've got card number three. We sell them in a set of five. You can uh check them out on our merch here and uh you could order them, you order them, I will send them to you or my baby sister will send them to you and uh you can play along with us. So, let's check it out and see how card number three does for us today.
>> I go four.
>> That Tesla doesn't have a license plate.
>> 46, please.
>> I like it.
>> Why do you not have a license plate on the back of the Tesla?
>> This is a brand new car I just purchas.
>> Where's the temporary tag?
>> Should be on the back. So, the side window on a Tesla is it's like this.
Like it's it's a fulls size window. Um the fact that she only lowered it this far initially is like that's like foreshadowing as to how this is going to go. You can already tell if someone doesn't roll their window down, it's just it's just going to be an hon.
It just very seldom do you have someone that doesn't roll their window down and they are just kind as pie. It just it's just seems like those two just go together.
>> It's not.
>> But like on the >> on the back there's nothing there. So I don't know. Maybe you lost it while you were driving.
>> That's insurance. We're going to need that, too. And your license.
>> I don't need to give you guys anything.
>> What's your issue? Why are you being like that? I should have stopped you because you don't have the license plate. You said that it should be there, right? And I told you that it's not. So then where is it?
Ma'am, I don't know.
>> Okay. So, then that's why I'm asking you. Okay. And then in order for me to move forward, I will need the information cuz obviously I can't get anything off of a tag that's not there.
>> Release your name and uh name and name and date of birth and uh has to show you a form of ID.
>> What is your name?
>> I'm not contracting with you, but I give him a name. I want to make sure >> contracting Of course.
>> Okay, good. I'm not contracted with the state. I'm not contracting with you whatsoever. I'll give you my name solely for the purposes.
>> Okay.
>> Okay. What?
>> Tell me your name.
>> I'm sorry. Say that again.
>> How do you spell >> last name?
>> Sorry.
>> I'm not in the jurisdiction. I'm not traveling. I'm sorry. I'm not driving. I need traffic. Oh, so she's just getting >> ma'am. We have to be able to identify you because you're lawfully being stopped.
>> Lawful being stopped. Under what grounds?
>> You have no >> You don't have a license plate.
>> Yeah, cool.
>> Right. And I just mentioned, >> huh?
>> Why are you guys surrounding my vehicle right now? Now I feel threatened.
>> You have PC tow the car without a tag on it. Sounds like a U problem.
>> So you have no tag on your vehicle.
That's why you're being stopped.
>> Okay. So being that you're on a lawful stop, you're being lawfully stopped with probable cause of having no tag.
>> What crime is that?
>> You have no You're not understanding.
You have no time.
>> You know what's more frustrating than the people in my videos? Medicare. What makes it even more frustrating is it could change from state to state. Your rates might be going up or your benefits might get cut. My dad who lives in New York might have different options than someone who lives in California. You need a trusted adviser working for you.
That's why you need to call Chapter. A licensed human in the United States will answer the phone, and that doesn't happen often these days. Other Medicare providers just sell you whatever makes them the most commission. Chapter Advisors are salarybased. They're independent and unbiased. Chapter compares every plan in the country and helps you pick the best plan that's right for you. On average, seniors who work with Chapter have saved $1,100 a year. Call Chapter today at 8056045905.

So give Chapter a call at 8056045905.
>> That's not a credit.
>> Maybe it's a crime.
>> Yes, it is.
>> It's not a crime.
>> Yes, it is.
>> Quick.
>> Are you going to identify yourself? We have to have some type of way to identify.
>> Okay. What are you looking at? 104.
>> She's talking to you. So, we talk to her. If I was going to talk to you, you should have done that earlier.
>> I can all my stuff.
>> I'm actually listening to the radio. So, >> ID for us to identify it.
>> It's in my trunk.
>> Where? In your trunk. What's Where in your trunk?
>> Like in the bag.
>> Yes. In a packet. Cuz I just I unrolled her to the school. Also, I have a packet that's hold all of my personal documents, my social, my passport, etc. >> So, it's in a bag in the trunk. Correct.
>> What color is the bag? It's not in the bag. It's in the pouch.
>> Okay. So, what color is the pouch?
>> Purple.
>> So, it's a purple pouch in the trunk that has your ID in it.
>> Okay.
So, can you open the trunk so we can get your ID?
>> I I can open the trunk and get my ID.
>> No, we cannot allow you to get out and go in the trunk.
>> Well, I'm not allowing you to go in in >> Okay. So, can you give us your name?
>> I just I just gave it >> first name, last name, and give it to her.
>> We're going to need more information than what you are telling us. Either you allow for us to get the documents out of your trunk or you give us the information verbally. Those are your only two options at this time.
>> Temporary tags, temporary license plates, the paper ones, they absolutely come off of cars. If you don't secure it properly, if you know the the hole pulls through, you know, the screw pulls through the hole, there's all sorts of reasons. It's absolutely normal. It happens. That's not the abs that's not the biggest issue here. All that does is give the officers the ability to get up to her driver's side window. If she would have been like, "Hi, my name's Jane Smith and my date of birth is January 2nd, you know, 1970." And then the officer went back and checked it.
Jane Smith, January 1970, up there's her license. This whole thing would have been done. They would have said, "Hey, just so you know, go to the dealership, get another tag, make sure you have your registration insurance whether you have a good day." And that would have been it. It would It's absolutely It's not a big deal. It's only a big deal because the driver makes it a big deal. And I mean, Orlando's a great police department and there's all sorts of videos on officers from Orlando PD handling business. So, I knew I knew when I saw an Orlando patch and this lady started coping that attitude, I know how it's going to go.
>> Sounds simple.
>> You have to work with me, but you guys are being extremely extremely aggressive.
>> Yeah, >> you have to. And >> you haven't seen aggressive.
>> All right, we're going to go ahead and >> you're going to what?
>> All right. Is the car off?
>> Excuse me.
>> Is the car off? to do.
>> We're going to remove you and the passenger out of the vehicle due to you not wanting to cooperate with us and provide us information that we are asking for you to give us.
>> I am not agreeing to you. Excuse me.
What are you doing? What are you doing?
>> Little vehicle extract here.
>> I got ahead.
Step out. Step.
>> I am just giving you my freaking name.
What the hell are you talking about?
>> Yes, I did. Do not touch me.
>> Let's get out of the car. Come here.
Just going to break your shoes.
>> What are you doing?
>> I'm going to have you come to the back of the car over here.
>> Do not touch my daughter.
>> Your daughter's cooperating. We don't have to do anything.
>> There we go.
>> You're not cooperating.
>> I like it.
>> I'm going to get the denim off the vehicle.
>> I need all of y'all badge, your names, your badge numbers, etc. >> Oh, yeah.
>> Go ahead and >> name and badge number. I'll take that one.
>> Oh, it's cover. Let go of me.
>> Stay right there.
>> I have not committed a crime. You need to get me out of these damn >> good. We already done.
>> Where's your supervisor, sir? Sir, since she is not cooperating as as an individual doing her duties and her job, >> she's doing exactly what she should be doing, man.
>> We'll be happy to get a supervisor here for you. Okay.
>> I need him now.
>> Right now.
>> He's calling.
You've been uncooperative so far, ma'am.
So, you're going to remain in cuffs until we're comfortable that you're cooperative. Okay.
>> Good enough answer. I like it.
>> Number 28 by Ben.
>> Am I being arrested?
>> You're in cuff.
>> Detained until we got >> Am I being arrested? I need these off me right now.
>> We're going to wait for our supervisor like you've requested, right?
>> She gets placed in cuffs. She demands a supervisor. you get one here right now and it's like everything stops until this they just stand there and wait for the supervisor. That must be a city of Orlando policy. Every agency has different policies. The agency I work for that is not our policy. I could call my boss on the phone and say, "Hey boss, you want to come down here? She wants to talk to you." His answer would be, "No, I've got other things to do. Tell her to, you know, I'll see her at the jail or tell her to call me. give her my number. Um or tell her to call dispatch and they'll put me through. Like that's it. That's in my agency where we cover a area slightly smaller than the state of Connecticut. He could be an hour and a half or two hours away from me. He's you don't just order a supervisor and have one show up. So just because she asked for one doesn't mean that she gets one.
Orlando was gracious enough to, you know, supervisor responded in a timely manner, but it's not like that everywhere and it shouldn't be.
>> I didn't request to be yanked out of my vehicle.
>> Okay.
Due to you not cooperating with us, that's what happened. So now we're going to do what you want and you call for our supervisor. He's going to be on the way.
You can talk to him further.
>> Yeah.
>> Five Yankee.
>> And by the way, he's not going to have a different opinion.
>> So you know what's happening, right? So your mom's being detained right now because she's driving a vehicle without a license plate on it, right? So we don't know what's going on. Sir, she's being detained. You're not detained. We just need to get you out of the car because the car is like you're going to be choked. Do you mind closing that door for me on the car? Thank you. Not Not you, ma'am. Not ma'am.
>> Can you get the hair out of my eyes, please?
>> The officer there can help you with that.
>> I'm not watching social media.
>> It's fine. Please.
>> Get down. My mom.
Okay.
>> So, you're not you're not being the thing, man. Right. Your uh your mom is.
Okay. So, if somebody comes to pick you up, whatever it is, they're welcome to do that. You do not have to stay here should you not want to. Okay? If you want to remain with your mom, you're welcome to do that. I'm just here to make sure that no cars hit you, that you're safe and all that stuff. You're free to go um anywhere you wish.
>> I don't care what your belief system is, you know, whether it's to the left or to the right or crazy or normal. But I think as a adult and as a mentor to a child who you're raising, you would think that no matter what this lady believed in, you've got to know that if you don't identify yourself to the cops that you're going to be placed in handcuffs and booked into jail. You have to know that. So why would you put your child through this? Because it's all her. She's the catalyst for everything.
She very simply could have complied but decided not to and then decided to have now her daughter gets asked out of the car. She's got to be walked to school by the cops. She sees her mom arrested. All of that absolutely could have been avoided if she just would have complied.
Even if she didn't believe in it, if she just would have temporarily complied with Florida state law, everything would have been fine. She probably could have continued and driven her daughter to school. But based on her own decisions, now we're here.
>> That's good info.
>> Hey, S.
>> Okay. What do we got going on?
>> Driver.
>> Okay.
>> How can I help you?
>> There's no crime, which there is not. I need to get removed from these handcuffs right now.
>> Okay. these aggressive ass cops surrounding my car, surrounded my vehicle without my consent.
>> Open my door unlawfully and yank me out of my car.
>> Okay.
>> When I'm not driving, I am not doing any commercial activity right now. That's my daughter. She's going to school.
>> You said you're you weren't driving.
>> Correct. I'm traveling.
>> And I know y'all don't like to play by the real rules, but I already know them.
>> Okay.
>> I'm not going to uh accept anything less than. And everyone here is going to be sued.
>> Okay. for their >> I'm going to go uh mentions court lawyer said is not acceptable.
>> Okay.
>> All right.
>> Let me uh just stay here. I'll talk to the other officer. See what you guys got going on. Okay.
>> Orlando great agency.
>> You guys were on your way to school. Is that correct? All right. So, I know she needs to get over there. So, you have like school books or something like that, a bag, whatever.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. So, I'm going to I'm going to go in there and get that for you.
>> What makes you guys think that you can touch my personal property? Like, who are you?
>> Where is it?
>> Right now, man, I have not done anything other than driving school. You guys have literally yanked me out of my vehicle at 7:00. No, how arrested this woman is in front of me. You're still trying to make me speak with her, >> so we're going to just open the door and her daughter's going to grab this.
>> We We don't We don't know what's in there, right? I I don't have no reason to believe that your daughter wants to hurt me or anything like that, right? I just don't know what's in there. So, I >> remove us from the car.
>> I need to make sure that whatever she gets is not going to hurt us. That's all I'm trying to do. Okay.
>> Ridiculous. I can't >> You're okay to come over here? Okay.
>> No, maybe you should have a license plate.
>> Open this door over here. Is that okay?
>> I just don't want you sitting over there with colors.
>> Sorry, I must have um speak Good enough. Uh that stay in here, right? Um I'm just going to close this for you so it doesn't get all over the car.
>> Is it okay if she gets your phone?
>> Do you know where it is?
Okay. Show it to your mom. Make sure that's that's your phone.
>> Don't not touch my Put this phone back in the car, please.
>> You can't give it to your mom. Do you Are you going to take it with you?
>> Oh, no. She's giving it to me. Why can't you?
>> You can't have your phone. She said she was taking it with me.
>> Back in the car?
>> Yeah.
>> Why can I not have my phone?
>> Cuz you're detained right now, ma'am.
>> For what crime?
>> The officer explained that to you already, right?
>> No, there's no crime.
>> I'm going to say for what are you doing?
We done in the car.
>> Are you leaving the car?
>> All right.
>> You're silly.
>> Can I talk to my daughter? Can you get away from me, please?
>> No, I cannot get away from you. You're detained at this time.
>> You can talk to your daughter, but just we're not We can't let you walk away.
>> I'm not asking to walk away. I'm asking her to come here and y'all step away from me, please. I'm not >> She's right here. She's right here.
Ma'am, you can talk to her.
>> Call Chris, please.
That's That's what the secret was.
>> Communication between the two are not going to allow anything.
>> You do not need to talk to her. Period.
>> Step down. Know your place.
>> You're for us.
>> You don't have to touch me. Let me Sir, can you please get this woman off of me?
>> I love it.
>> I'm going have to put her in the car because she's not >> I'm going have to put her in the car.
>> Sir, please get her off of me >> because she's trying to do She's trying to ask her daughter a call. She's asking talking asking her daughter for the phone.
>> Do you have anything in the wall right now? Do you have anything on me? Do you have anything?
>> Ma'am, would you would you like me to escort?
>> I'm going to call that get off me. I'm going to call that bingo. Straight across the top.
>> You've been arrested for >> number three. Killing it.
>> Resisting anything.
>> You resist it cuz you think I >> I am not resisting anything. That is not Sir, please.
>> I'm not resisting anything. I'm going to go with another bingo across the middle.
>> I don't know where it was. I told him I would get it. You're not allowed to get and I told you I would get it for you.
>> You didn't if you if you aren't providing your name and identification.
If you aren't if you if you're resisting the officers, >> I'm not resisting anything.
>> If they're trying to get my daughter, they're trying to identify who you are and you aren't providing your name and your information.
>> But that name wasn't coming up.
>> What do you mean?
>> They know you didn't give a direct they could use to identify you. You're also driving in a vehicle or you're traveling in a vehicle that doesn't have a license plate on. So that's why they stop you.
>> I understand that. Okay. So, based on >> Always went on there. I literally bought that from dealership not even a month ago.
>> So, based on on you not cooperating and providing the officers the information they needed, that's a form of passive resistance.
>> It is not >> and they're arrest and they're placing under arrest as a result of that. It >> sure says that it is handcuffs because they're trying to >> Who is the injured party right now then?
>> Um there's I don't know if there's an injured partyime by your accurate crime and I have not received anything. He He >> There we go.
>> Sit down and shut up.
>> Do you uh do you want me to Your daughter needs to get to school.
>> Okay. So, do you want me to release her to school? Do you want me to escort her to school? How do you want me to get her over there?
>> You can come over here.
>> Sir, can you please get this woman out of my face? I'm not moving.
>> Ma'am, let's just focus on your daughter.
>> Focus on her phone on your daughter.
>> Can you please call Chris? Is he not answering?
>> Okay. How you get your daughter to school? Okay. This is why I separated you. Because you're trying to do stuff through your daughter, which you're not allowing. How you going to get your daughter to >> Who are you? My maker. Like, who who are you to not allow? We're going to close the door.
>> Are you going to walk her over there or she can walk by herself?
>> There we go.
>> I don't really think she's >> good enough. I don't walk over.
>> Yeah. Let's walk. We're going to walk you over the school. Okay. We're not going to walk you into the campus, but we're just going to That way you're not embarrassed. We're going to walk you up and just see you in.
>> Okay.
>> All right. Somebody.
Hey, Vinnie. Just let her know where her mom will be at. Okay. So, she could tell the adult.
>> All right. Go ahead and do whatever you're going to do. If you want to just take her and we're going to tow the car, we're going to write her a ticket.
>> Have you and mom been through this type of stuff before?
>> No.
>> Okay. Um, so just real quick, let me just explain to you and then this way you can explain to anybody else you want to know.
>> Okay.
>> Did I hear you say that their camer?
>> No, their camera's shitable. I'm going to go watch the body camera footage and make sure that they handled you in a manner that was appropriate. And if >> I had not this once.
>> So, I love that she she's is your camera on? Make sure your camera's on. So, she is so worried about this entire event being recorded that she has very poor forethought because now just under a million people have watched this and watched her antics and watched her get arrested in front of her daughter and watched how absolutely stupid she looks in front of everyone. But she absolutely mandated that everyone had their camera on. So, not only do we have documentation, but we have it from like five different angles. We have documentation of how what a terrible human she is. It's Thank you for ensuring these cameras are on because it makes for great video.
>> Your mom is required to provide us an ID, driver's license, name, date of birth, something like that.
>> At that point, >> the law states that I don't even need to provide unless a crime has been committed.
>> That's not true. Unless Do you have a Florida's driver's license or no?
>> I do.
>> Okay. So, when you sign for a Florida driver's license in part, you agree >> and I already revoked it.
>> So, as I told her, my other ID is in my car. I'm sorry, my trunk.
>> She wanted to go into my trunk. I don't trust either one of them because of the way that they treated me. So, the second they walked up to my car, >> the second they woke up to my car.
>> Okay. So, probably by the time you get out of school today, >> should be out. Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Just because just because you have nothing else better to do.
>> Okay. you don't understand what's you don't understand what liability that you are.
>> So, we're going to go ahead and get going because the the soon the longer we keep you here, the longer this is something you'll probably be be able to get through processed and be out uh within a reasonable amount of time or within 6 to 8 hours. So, the sooner we get you down and get you processed, the sooner you can get out. So, I'm not going to hold you here any longer. I'm let the officers go ahead and and finish up here so we can get you down and get you processed. Okay.
>> All right. Good. Yep. Seems secure.
Right when the Tesla was about to be towed, a man showed up to take it.
>> So, the driver was arrested for uh failure to provide identification. Uh we pulled over for having no license plate on the vehicle. Correct.
>> Uh the they called you, sir. Right.
>> Um to pick up the vehicle. So, he's now saying he wants to arrange transport for somewhere. So, >> you want to drive it?
>> They're being they're being [ __ ] about it. So, if you want to I can definitely drive it. They're being >> No, he can't drive it. He can't drive it.
>> He can. But you're here now. So now you guys it's like it's your policy as to what you need to do.
>> No. Yeah. No, I mean just because I'm here listen if y'all are okay with >> Well, you couldn't drive unless they had a tag on. So there you go. Okay.
>> You can't drive it anywhere.
>> What law?
>> Point to me. What law that says >> So if we're in commerce, we need a driver.
>> Let me explain.
>> I know exactly the law.
>> If you get in the vehicle >> and you pull away, we'll see you. We're going to pull you over.
>> That's fine. And then you're going to have a lawsuit. Then you're going to lose your job. You're going to lose your job and you're going to lose your job.
>> I'm not worried about losing my job. You guys have not provided a law.
>> You know what I just >> You guys have not provided a law.
>> I was hoping that the male half of this couple would show up. Chris would show up and that he would be a a light in the darkness that there would be a a glimmer of normaly and I was left wanting. I absolutely know why these two are a couple because they complement each other's craziness.
So he's just as bad as her saying that he's going to sue everyone and like everyone out there is absolutely 100% doing their jobs. No one's get you could sue anyone for anything, but I guarantee the city of Orlando is going to get that lawsuit, watch all these videos and go, "Yeah, we're not giving you a dime." So I I don't know what kind of tree he's barking up, but it's the wrong one. cuz we we wouldn't be first and foremost somebody took the tag off so or it flew off. So it's not like it's a stolen vehicle, >> but we still have probable cause to pull the vehicle off.
>> The tag flew off the tag, you know, got lost. We asked her, we said, "Ma'am, where's the tag?" She's like, >> she I Well, she was talking to my other partner and we asked her, "Where's the tag?" If you just give us the information, say where's the tag? This could have all been seas like this all would have happened. She wouldn't give she won't tell us about the tag. She wouldn't give us the bid. She won't give us the registration. She won't give us the insurance. She won't give us her name. She >> We still can't drive if you >> that there's no tag, but that that is the one thing that is not a law. I want to change.
>> We're not going to argue over >> tow that car.
>> So, this is what we're going to do. I thought you drove another car here.
>> No, no, no. Okay, so this is what we're going to do. We You can't drive it in our presence.
>> Absolutely.
>> Since you're here, you're in control of it. No, no, we don't want to know that.
We're going to leave.
>> Okay.
>> If you drive this car and you get stopped again, we're not going to be we're not going to mess with you, but if somebody else stops you, you have to deal with the repercussions, okay? But don't drive this in our presence.
>> Absolutely.
>> We're sorry you had to come out. If you need to do whatever, we're going to No, we're just going to leave it. He's going to be in control of it.
>> Okay. You don't want it to?
>> No, ma'am. Thank you.
>> All right. Sorry. Sorry.
>> No, no, no. You're good.
>> Yeah. All right. So you can take possession of the car. Don't drive it in our presence. If you do get stuck driving with it, just understand that you can get stopped and get written a ticket.
>> Get a plate on there or something. Okay.
>> Like it's not like listen.
>> So let us leave.
>> Yeah. Let before you do any of that.
>> 33rd. Yes.
>> So that happened. So, as we watch this and we watch these two, we have mom who's terrible and terrible towards the officers and then dad shows up and dad threatens to sue everyone there. I don't know if if I let that car go. I think I grab my empathetic mug. I think I take a big old sip and I think I tow that car and then we deal with the fact that maybe you shouldn't be doing everything wrong. and then expect some level of leniency from us when you are absolutely not deserving. So maybe they need an empathetical smug.
>> She was charged with resisting without violence. She was also cited for no tag being displayed, registration not carried, license not carried, no proof of insurance, and driving on a suspended license without knowledge. Turns out her license had expired in 2024. A jury found her guilty, but she's appealing the decision.
>> Of course she is. can't take responsibility for actions.
>> We got double bingo across the entire top and across the middle. Card number three killed it on this one. So, I don't know if there is a single card out of all five options that we have of body cam bingo cards. I don't know if there's one that wouldn't have bingoed on this.

Um, I tried to post every day about what I was doing. I went up and visited my dad. We were on the water. I brought everyone there with me. Um, dad's got pet rabbits. I showed I showed the members my dad's pet rabbits. Um, so if you're looking for that, check this out. Go there and subscribe.
