The DISTURBING Tyler Catastrophe Iceberg..Added:
You guys, so many of you have asked me to do a deep dive on Tyler Catastrophe, and I am very angry because I can never get that time of my life back. And I honestly, I wish I hadn't done a deep dive into it. But the fact that I had to now means that you have to as well, because you put me through this, and now you guys get to experience it as well.
But regardless, a lot of you guys have been asking me to make a video about the newest internet cow by the name of Tyler Catastrophe. And there is a lot that goes on in the situation. This is a very deep iceberg. Stuff from pretending to be indigenous to having a parasocial crush on an alleged to taking a potential like jokingly job offer as a actual legitimate job offer and then ebegging online to making overpriced timu jewelry and just a bunch of other stuff. And we have a lot to talk about because my goodness, this is one of the most I don't even know like convoluted complex stories of a internet loc I have ever looked into. And I'm going to be honest, I'm sure I'm missing more context here, but I didn't want to spend more than eight hours researching this. So, for that reason, we're just going to go over the whole timeline, go over all the controversies that Tyler Catastrophe has been a part of and why the internet seems to hate him so much.
Now, before we get started, I do want to do a disclaimer. Tyler Catastrophe is a trans man. So, I want to be very clear.
Please refer to him as he him in the description or comments below. This is not an excuse to be transphobic, homophobic, whatever, right? You're allowed to disagree with somebody, but either making fun of their looks or making fun of their gender identity, that's not cool. Let's not do that.
Okay? Let's judge somebody for their actions, not things that they cannot control.
So, with that out of the way, we're going to be going down the Tyler Catastrophe iceberg, which basically includes Tyler Catastrophe allegedly pretending to be an indigenous person, followed by Tyler Catastrophe having a crush on Wilbur Soot and trying to move to England to be closer to Wilbur Sut because he has this weird parasocial relationship obsession with Wilbur Sut, followed by Tyler Catastrophe's narcissistic behaviors and a bunch of other stuff, including him thinking that he got a job offer from an artist, and the artist actually had to come out and say, "Hey, um, I never said that because Tyler Catastrophe has a tendency to just take very small minuscule things and blow them out of proportion to fit whatever whatever narrative they want to kind of create right now. Something I want to clarify is that my intention isn't to bully Tyler Catastrophe and I encourage you guys not to do that either. There is obviously a lot going on here and I also want to clarify that I am not a mental health professional meaning I cannot diagnose somebody with being a narcissist or anything like that. However, I do want to refer to term specifically narcissistic tendencies because there are a lot of aspects of narcissism or narcissistic behaviors that are perpetuated through this whole situation. I'm not saying that Terastrophe is a narcissist. That's not what I'm saying. I am simply saying that some of the actions that they have participated in do heavily mimic aspects of narcissistic personality disorder, which I'll get into a little bit later.
But essentially, if you guys don't know, Tyler Catastrophe originally started posting content on TikTok several years ago. and their content for the most part has mainly been their art. Now, I see a lot of debate regarding Tyler's art, the art style as well as the skill and stuff like that. And the biggest issue it seems to be is that Tyler tends to price his art incredibly high for the actual considered community value of the artwork. I understand everybody has their own artistic interpretations and people have their own way of doing art.
So, I'm not trying to dog on anybody for their art style, skills, whatever. But definitely, I can understand the community perspective that this art is maybe not worth $1,000 or this one piece here isn't worth $300,000, right?
There's a lot of inflation of prices, which I do think artists should be able to price their work however they want.
But I feel like when you price your work as a form of ebgging, which we'll get into in a second here, rather than the actual quality of your work, that's not properly pricing your work. That's just you trying to get internet pity points by giving people a whole sob story. So essentially Tyler creates all this different kind of art, right? There's all these paintings, specifically beaded jewelry. And this is kind of when the internet started to dislike Tyler Catastrophe, which this is even before he was open about his parasocial relationship with Wilbur Sut who's alleged as well as, you know, a bunch of other stuff, right? So essentially Tyler Catastrophe made a bunch of videos talking about how he lives in Texas and how he doesn't feel like he's safe. And I do want to say that there is a lot of issues specifically in certain states with not having equal access to health care, not having, you know, necessarily the same rights or being subject to discrimination. And so I do think that is a valid argument here. Okay? I think everybody deserves to feel safe. And I don't think anybody should be discriminated against because their gender identity or the way that they present themselves. However, what I don't like about this whole situation is that as opposed to, you know, getting a 9 to5 or going and working somewhere, working a side job, I don't know, donating your stuff because you have a lot of it to, you know, make money to move, there's always this immediate transition into ebgging online, which there are situations where I think GoFundMes are 100% warranted in times of tragedy, in times of war, stuff like that, right? Like I think there's some people who use GoFundMe and internet, you know, fundraising for the right reasons. But Tyler Catastrophe, in my opinion, is not one of those people.
Basically, he started a GoFundMe like, "Guys, I need to escape the United States, which there's a lot of people comparing, you know, the way that Tyler Catastrophe words his escape from the United States to people in other countries." Example, um, a lot of people in GoFundMe for people in Palestine would say, "We need to escape Palestine.
We need to flee Palestine." And I take issue with people who are legitimately fleeing a war torn country and their homes have literally been destroyed and they don't have anywhere else to go versus somebody who is privileged enough to live in the United States and has access to food, water, healthcare, etc. phrasing their GoFundMe as a life or death situation. Yes, there are not fair laws all the time. There are some people who work in the US government that do not like people who are LGBTQIA plus community members, right? But at the same time, it is not the same as fleeing a war torn country. And that is something that really bugs me is that the phrasing of a lot of Tyler Catastrophe's videos is kind of this urgency that he is going to die, that his, you know, he's fleeing something that he has to escape right away. And I understand not wanting to be part of a red state. I get that, right? You know, you're you're allowed to think that way.
But at the same time, you shouldn't put that burden on other people and take away from actual, in my opinion, people who are actually fleeing their home country because they are at immediate risk of dying, of being shot, of their homes being, you know, destroyed, right?
and almost like comparing yourselves to them and acting like this victim when you as someone who lives in the United States does have access to job opportunities. You have access to resources, you have access to community, you know, outreach centers and stuff like that. And so Tyler Catastrophe immediately goes to ebgging online.
>> Hello, my name is Tyler and I'm moving to England or at least I'm trying to.
Y'all already know I need your help with that cuz right now living in Texas for me is extremely dangerous and there are very real actual threats to my safety all of the time. But luckily for me, I've been working basically non-stop for the past like two and a half years to make this one thing become real. And suddenly it is because right now I have an incredible job working with amazing people in England waiting for me. And I just have to get which is why I made this with very high.
>> And he's begging. He wants money. He wants people to send him money on this GoFundMe to flee Texas. Okay, fine.
Whatever. Which is interesting because if you're really fleeing and you're just trying to flee your state and doing so in the most, you know, effective way possible, you probably flee a red state and go to a blue state where there is more, you know, equitable healthcare, um there's better laws to protect people that are part of the LGBTQIA plus community. But no, as opposed to fleeing to a different state in the United States, which would be significantly cheaper than fleeing Texas, right? Um to go to their country, Tyler wants to go to England. And this is where the stuff kind of starts to snowball. So a bunch of people are like, "Hey Tyler, why do you want to go to England? Like I'm kind of confused. So you're fleeing from Texas. Why not just flee to a blue state or maybe Canada or somewhere nearby that you know has better rights for people who are part of you know marginalized communities. Why are you fleeing all the way to England? That doesn't make a lot of sense. And that's when Tyler's obsession with a popular YouTuber or like shunned YouTuber should I say Wilbur Soot became blatantly apparent.
Now if you guys don't know about Wilbur Sut, basically he was part of like Minecraft stuff. I think the Dream SMP.
I'm not exactly sure. To be honest, I never watched that and I I live by that.
I'm glad I didn't. But regardless, basically he was part of like some Minecraft communities, whatever. And he was at one point dating another YouTuber by the name of Shovel. And Shovel went live with these accusations against Wilbur, accusing him of being really rough with her, of biting her, of actually physically harming her, and being allegedly very Okay. And so she came out with those um allegations. I believe it was in a stream. And then Wilbur Sut was basically like, "Yeah, you know what? like he didn't fully admit to all this stuff, but he said, you know, I didn't realize whatever, blah blah blah. And essentially, he ended up being basically shunned from the YouTuber community because a lot of people associated him with being an unhealthy person that was hurting women allegedly. Okay? And so, for that reason, he was shunned and basically a lot of YouTubers and people in the content creation space along with consumers do not like Wilbur Sut because of these allegations. Wilbur Sut as a result kind of disappears from the online space and starts, you know, contributing more to a band called Love Joy. And this, I guess, is like some sort of band that he's a part of. And he sings music, whatever, or he sings whatever, right? And he is part of this band. And Tyler starts going off about how he initially heard Wilbur Sut's laugh in the background of a video a couple years prior and immediately became fixated with Wilbur Soot and has a massive crush. Now, I will play some clips in this video, but essentially he was saying that he heard Wilbur Soot in the background of a video and immediately he was like that, you know, I love them, whatever. Like that's the their person. I have had a crush on Will Gold since 2019 when I heard him laugh in the background of someone else's video and it felt like life itself leaned in to listen, which is really inconvenient for me because I am very much a one soul at a time kind of person. So once I develop a crush, virtually no one else stands a chance ever. And at the time, I had just broken off a terrible engagement to a guy who didn't even [ __ ] like me. And since then, I have only briefly dated one other person who was wonderful, but it didn't work out. And so in all of that time, regardless of how many people have tried and been interested in me, I have not been able to find the interest for any single one of them.
>> And Tyler Catastrophe goes on to say that they can only have one crush at a person at a time. Like he's like a one soul person, I think is what he says.
And basically is implying that he can only have a crush on Wilbur Soot and nobody else in the world matters. Which if you don't know if you've only met somebody very briefly cuz I believe Tyler Catastrophe met Wilbur at a meet and greet like for a couple seconds and then also just like hearing somebody online and immediately deciding that they are your person and you are fixated with them for years. That is what we call a parasocial relationship. Okay.
And to make it even worse, Tyler Catastrophe has come out numerous times saying that he does not think that Wilbur Soot is a bad person and that the allegations he believes are untrue.
>> I do not think that Wilbur S is aer.
This is just a reminder that I still feel that way. I've been doing more covers recently and several of them.
>> Which imagine, you know, you have a crush on some famous person and so instead of, you know, having a crush and being open to the fact that they may not be a good person, you instead choose to deny the testimony of victims that have come forward against that person simply because you have a crush on them and you don't want to have to listen to somebody who's been negatively impacted by this person that you want to be with. Like that was insane to me because it's actively revictimizing people who are impacted by the situation when you continue to put that person on a pedestal and are basically trying to use your platform to tell people that he's innocent which is really messed up right but regardless Tyler Catastrophe has this very aggressive very creepy almost sort of obsession with Wilbur Sut and that seems to be why he wants to move to England.
He said numerous times, it's not the full reason why he wants to move there, but the exact place in England that he wanted to move to was the same place where Wilbur lives, which made a lot of people think, hey, this is creepy.
You're basically moving across the world to go live like near someone that you have a crush on that you've never actually met. And then it gets worse. It gets worse. Okay. Tyler Catastrophe then proceeds to make a bunch of videos talking about how he wants to be a vocalist for um Wilbur Sut's band, Love Joy. And he's like, "Do you guys need a second vocalist? I'm a really good singer.
>> Absolutely no idea if one of my favorite bands might want a second vocalist, but I do know I am crazy enough to ask. So, hi, Lovejoy. Do you want a second vocalist? My name is Tyler Salona. I'm 26 years old. I live in Texas, but I'm trying to move to England anyway. I'm a massive extrovert. I've been performing since I was 10. And in 2019, I was actually a semi-professional vocalist, but then had to spend almost 5 years getting my voice back after losing it completely cuz someone hit me with their car. But through the sheer force of audacious determination, I now have my voice back and my vocal stamina, which basically means that now that I can go back to music, not doing so makes everything else feel unfulfilling and sad. I figured I might as well shoot my shot. And I also play the trumpet, which is probably helpful. Anyway, here's Portrait of a Blank Slate, the whole thing. I hope you like it. I mean, you probably like it already. Let's be honest, it is your song. But I also hope you like the parts that I'm going to do.
the singing part. You know, this is a long intro for Tik Tok, but we commit over here. So, listen to it. It's amazing.
Anyway, he told me that much now he's dead to kill with a shot blow to the temple. Pick up the phone and do everything. He says I could take a plastic camera. We can make >> the car crash lore. Essentially, I guess a couple years ago, Tyler Catastrophe was riding his moped and got hit by a SUV or a car of some sort, and he claims that the SUV was totaled. Now, there was someone who pulled up a bunch of crash reports from the area that Tyler Catastrophe lives in. And it seems like the car wasn't actually totaled, but I'm not exactly sure if that crash report was actually Tyler Catastrophe or somebody else. But essentially, Tyler Catastrophe claims that he was a semi-professional vocalist, then gets in this car crash where his moped hits a car, he totals the car, and he I guess hurts his ribs and stuff like that and couldn't sing for several years. And so during the time where he was hurt from his car crash, to my understanding, he began to create beaded necklaces. And this is where we get into the cultural appropriation and pretending to be an indigenous person. Okay, so basically Tyler Castrophy, he gets in this car crash and he's hurt and he can't sing because his chest hurts from, I guess, ribs being damaged. I'm not exactly sure. So, as a result, he picks up a new hobby where he starts creating beaded jewelry and he creates very intricate beaded jewelry. And to be honest, I don't think I can make stuff like this.
Props to you. It's very cool. Is it $3,000 cool? Not to me, but you know, art is subjective, right? And so essentially Tyler starts making beaded jewelry and starts making thirst trap videos on Tik Tok on the same Tik Tok platform where he's actively defended Wilbur Sut and posted his art before basically trying to get people to buy in my opinion his overpriced bead work. And he goes on to basically say that he's like the only person who does bead work the way that he does and that he is super unique and he's so cool and he's so smart, whatever, right? And this is where we start to get into the narcissistic tendencies. He already has parasocial tendencies where with his obsession with Wilbur Sut, but now he has these narcissistic tendencies where he is portraying the belief that he thinks he is the best person on the planet, that he is so smart, he is so beautiful. And there's one thing to love yourself and to uplift yourself. That's one thing, but it's a completely different thing to act like you are God and you are the best person on the planet and that you're above everybody else. You're smarter, you're more beautiful, you know, whatever it may be, right? And that's when people started to not like Tyler Catastrophe. And that's when they kind of started digging into his past and figuring out that he had this weird obsession with this YouTuber.
So whatever. As he's recovering, he keeps making jewelry. And that's when people start to point out, "Hey, Tyler, this seems like it's mimicking indigenous feedwork." And they start to dig up old videos where Tyler Catastrophe states that he believes that he is two spirit. Now, if you guys don't know, two spirit, which I'll put a definition on the screen, but essentially it's an indigenous belief.
And you technically cannot be two spirit unless you are part of an indigenous community. And so him claiming that he was two spirit paired with him creating beadwork which is typically associated with certain indigenous communities in the United States and Canada, it created a lot of issues because people were basically saying that he was trying to be um to pretend to be indigenous which I believe the term that a lot of people use is called pretendians. Um I read a novel about that actually where it was someone who was part of an indigenous group and they were talking about the notion of pretends where a bunch of people who are white like to pretend to be indigenous to get certain government grants and accessibility stuff when in reality they are not. And that's been a bigger issue, but that's for a whole other video. But essentially, a lot of people were claimed that he was being a pretendian and trying to profit off of pretending to be indigenous. And then Tyler mentioned in passing that apparently he's Portuguese. I don't even know, but essentially it sounded like he was having a whole identity crisis and doing absolutely anything he possibly could to make himself appear like a minority for whatever reason. Then Tyler goes on to say that his bead work is super unique and nobody else does it like him, even though it's very similar to indigenous bead work. And also on top of that, it's strikingly similar to Ukrainian bead work, which is a whole other genre of bead work that is specific to Ukrainian individuals. Now, with that aside, he starts selling this stuff on I think it's coffee is what you call it, but it's like a selling platform kind of like Etsy, I guess. Um, he starts selling these pieces of work, including his paintings and his bead work to make money. And again, at the same time that he's doing this, he is still egging for money to quote unquote flee to England. And again, I understand that jobs aren't super easy to get and I understand it can be difficult. But with the amount of time that you spend lingering online, the amount of time you spend obsessing over Wilbur sut and the amount of time you make making thirst traps to get people to buy your overpriced beaded jewelry, you could probably have applied to a job at McDonald's. I'm going to be honest, okay? And I'm not trying to sound insensitive here because I know job markets in different states are very different and I'm not trying to be rude here. But also then you have to acknowledge the fact that if the job market in your state is really bad, you probably aren't going to be able to sell a necklace that you claim is worth like $700 because other people in the state are also struggling. So it's just kind of like this weird, I guess, duality where Tyler has this theme where he loves to beg for money either through GoFundMes or making thirst traps and guilt tripping people by saying he needs to flee. And he behaves in a way where he expects everybody to serve him in some sort of way. Like he feels like the world owes him something, which I cannot stand. The world owes you nothing. At the end of the day, you're responsible for what happens to you. If you choose to not, you know, work a typical 9 to5, that's fine. But then it's not everybody else's job to compensate for you not wanting to work a 9 to5. And I cannot stand it when people do that. Especially when they pair it with pity marketing and act like their life depends on it.
Cuz at the end of the day, if it really was that dangerous for you to live in Texas, you could move to a blue state, which would not be nearly as expensive as moving to a different country and be technically safer. But instead, he wants to move to a whole country, but label it as fleeing so that people will give him money out of sympathy. Right. But regardless, after that, um I guess Tyler takes a trip to England at some point. I don't know how he affords it. No idea.
But he takes a trip to England at some point and he meets an artist who's very famous by the name of Stuart Simple. And he has some sort of art studio. I guess the whole story is very confusing to be honest. But he visits this art studio with Stuart Simple and he's like, "Oh my gosh, I love your work, whatever." And he kind of throws out there that he wants Stuart Simple to hire him. and Stuart makes some sort of like lighthearted joke because obviously no offense, but I don't think Tyler's artistic capabilities really align with Stuart Simple's, you know, quality of work. That is my opinion. Um, and Stuart Simple kind of like nicely says, "Haha, you know, like if you figured out your visa, you never know. Like we'll see, right?" And was just trying to be kind, obviously, right? Because I think he assumed that Tyler was just super excited and he didn't want to like make him upset and so he was just trying to let him down nicely, right? Then Tyler proceeds to go back to the United States and continues to use this potential job offer that he now thinks he has as some sort of leverage as to why he needs to flee the United States and go to England.
>> I just love asking for help on the internet cuz like I found my dream job and I got my dream job but I got to go to the dream job and the only way to do that is to pay to get there. So, I made this thing and I'm it's going really well so far, but also I have like a month. I have like a month. Obviously, I'm still adding to that number. I'm doing art markets. I'm selling my art and jewelry online. It's really cool.
I'm really proud of myself for getting there. But, I have a month and it's just now hitting me that I only have a month.
And those two weeks that I spent in England is the only time in my 26 years of life that something in me just settled.
I I can't describe that feeling to you because it was oh my. So he starts to create a variety of videos basically going on and on about how he must flee and how he has a job waiting for him and he needs to get to that job which I'll show you some clips but my goodness it was the most cringiest thing I've ever seen because it's a lot of you know behaving like a child and using childish mannerisms and like dumbing things down when in reality it's nobody else's job to pay for your move but you. And the way that he's trying to rephrase this into something or, you know, reconstruct it into something where people owe him something is I don't know. It just bugs me. So essentially, he goes on and on saying that he has a job waiting for him at his dream studio, whatever. And then eventually Steuart simple, I guess, stops answering him because at this point, I think Stuart maybe realizes, hey, this guy's a little bit parasocial, like this kind of creepy. And Tyler loses his mind online and proceeds to post videos about how um Stuart simple ghosted him and how he betrayed him and basically saying, "Look what you missed out on." and is posting a bunch of pictures of his art and then like turning the camera back at himself to do like these thirst traps. It's very bizarre. I'll play the video on the screen, but the whole thing is just very very weird. And eventually this whole situation, all these mini controversies all come together to reach the general Tik Tok audience, which causes an astronomical kind of like I don't even know what to call it, just wave of hatred, which I don't think it's fair to hate on somebody because their gender identity or the way that they look.
That's what I see a lot of people doing with Tyler. Um, but I do think it is fair to not like somebody because they are constantly ebggging online, larping, being basically just a victim of the world and never willing to help themselves in any sort of way. Cuz at the end of the day, your bework is great. That's awesome. You like to paint, that's awesome. But the reason why not everybody's an artist who enjoys art is because they realize it's not always a very profitable, you know, profession to be in. And so, unfortunately, sometimes things like that are meant to stay hobbies and they aren't meant to be your sole source of income. And it's not everybody else's job to donate to you and foot the bill because you don't want to get a 9 to5.
So regardless, people find out about the pretend behavior as well as the overpriced bead work where a lot of people are complaining about the quality of the beads. Um saying that they don't think it's actually worth that much. And people started breaking it down that like necklaces that cost $700 maybe cost like $30 in materials and then of course the labor that goes into that, but really it's not worth $700 even after you factor in labor and profit margin and whatever. Um, and then people start to realize that he's like subtly drop shipping like mushroom keychains and it's like buying these mushroom figures from Timu and like selling them for like astronomical amounts of money. It's just this whole thing. And then Stuart Simple becomes aware of Tyler Catastrophe basically going online and saying that Stuart betrayed him and he ghosted him and he said he had a job and he lied to him and it's all his fault because now Tyler doesn't have a job in England and it's ruined, you know, England's opportunity or Tyler's opportunity to go to England, whatever, right? And Steuart becomes aware of this and then makes a variety of comments saying like, you know, Tyler was a nice guy, but like he was never getting a job here. And then some other people from the studio come out and say that I guess Tyler was like criticizing their work and trying to tell Stuart simple how he has to do his work, which is very bizarre, especially considering in my opinion, this is just my personal opinion, Tyler Catastrophe has about the same level of art skill as myself. Okay? And I would say have about the skills of a grade like a fifth grader, right? So, the comparison of him towards someone who's a professional artist who is very famous is definitely a little bit bizarre to me and kind of again gives off this tendency of narcissistic behaviors and thinking that you're better than everybody else and that you're amazing, right? And not having a lot of self-awareness. So, then Steuart Simple comes out with this painting that writes, "This painting is not a job offer." Basically clowning on Tyler Catastrophe for thinking that him saying, "Yeah, if you figure out your visa, you never know what might happen in the future." never giving him a physical paper saying this is your job offer. Tyler just taking it and running with it and deciding that that meant he was going to get a job there. Stuart starts selling these this painting is not a job offer on TikTok and it goes absolutely viral and a ton of people buy them and Tyler is like losing his mind like absolutely so upset and Tyler proceeds to make a couple videos talking about it and apologizing and doing a bunch of stuff. However, it seems like now a lot of videos from Tyler's page have been deleted. Not necessarily ones that were problematic, but more so ones that just highlighted the narcissistic tendencies in his speech where he would frequently talk about himself in a, you know, higher light than everybody else, thinking that he is, you know, for some reason better than everybody, that he is this superior being even though he's constantly e begging for other people's money. And essentially just kind of created this very bizarre situation where Tyler went from thinking he was the best thing since sliced bread to being brutally humbled online. And I want to be clear, you cannot like somebody, you can disagree with somebody, but I do feel like a lot of the internet's, you know, grievances with Tyler is based off of his appearance or his gender identity, which I don't agree with. I think when you're in a situation like this and you have someone who, in my personal opinion, isn't really doing very well mentally. I feel like a someone who is not struggling mentally wouldn't have a bizarre obsession with a alleged. um somebody who'sn't struggling mentally, wouldn't want to base their whole identity and move across the country simply for a random YouTuber that they've met once at a meet and greet for like a couple seconds. And it's also somebody who wouldn't um interpret someone saying, you know, if you got your visa, you never know what could happen as a legitimate, you know, job offer. I feel like there is a certain level of mental um you know, issues in the situation. I don't exactly know how to word it. Whether that be, you know, maybe there's a bit of psychosis, maybe there's a bit of you know, just like really lacking social cues. I have no idea. I'm not a doctor so I can't diagnose. But I do think this whole situation just really sheds light on how you need to be very careful what information you share online. Right? If Wilbur Bersut wasn't as private become because these allegations, he could have had his address online and Tyler could have shown up. Not saying that Tyler would, but you know what I mean? When you have someone who is that fixated with you that they've had a crush on you for years because they heard your voice in audio recording once, that goes to tell you how creepy and parasocial people can be online. And I think there's a distinct line between being a fan of somebody and enjoying somebody's work and being parasocial to the point where you pose a risk to yourself and others and where it starts to scare people around you. I think there's no issue with adoring somebody or admiring somebody's work or wanting to be, you know, a part of a community. That's, you know, everybody wants that, right? But at the same time, planning your whole life around where some random internet celebrity lives and trying to get a job with another internet celebrity and then getting really buttth hurt when you don't get the job because you just simply do not meet the qualifications and then going online and ebagging and talking about how you're like this singer and you're amazing at art and you're amazing at singing and people should recognize you and nobody notices you and then making a video talking about how, you know, nice your butt is.
I don't even know. It was so bizarre.
Just a lot of stuff in the situation really do highlight, you know, what happens when your ego goes unchecked.
And I don't think Tyler Catastrophe is a bad person, but I do think the behaviors they are participating in are very unhealthy and set an unhealthy precedent on how people should behave online. You should always be confident. You should feel, you know, comfortable in your body and you should feel like you're beautiful, you're smart, whatever. But when you constantly shove it down other people's throats and feel the need to constantly remind people of how good you are and how bad they are, it's not healthy and it becomes, you know, narcissistic to a degree and becomes, you know, just very unhealthy and a signal of immaturity in my opinion. But regardless, let me know your thoughts on this down below. If you've heard about the Tyler catastrophe situation, I am disappointed that I spent so much time researching this and I did my best to sum it up, but let me know if you guys have other thoughts down below or things I left out. I'd love to learn about it because a saying I see in the situation is that you never see the same Tyler Catastrophe video twice. And it really is true. There's just so much. His digital footprint is massive. Anyways, thank you guys for watching. Please don't bully anybody and I will see you guys next time. Bye-bye.
