Most US Traffickers Are Citizens—Not Who You Think #trafficking #awareness

This isn't, you know, traffickers coming across the border um according to the DOJ's own statistics, over 75% of the traffickers who are convicted in their cases are US citizens. Wow. Almost 90% of the victims are US citizens. And almost, you know, close to 100% of the customers are US citizens. And so, after learning all that information, I just decided there's got to be a better way and decided I was going to take what I'd learned in counterterrorism and start trying to apply that to the countertrafficking fight, predominantly through creating technologies and data sets, and then helping law enforcement with analysis.
