Hanson grabbed onto both of them with one hand, but she didn't want to drag her husband and son down with her, so she let go and floated right up into the sky. Turns out his space accident knocked a chunk off the moon, and it messed up Earth's gravity big time. With gravity being so weak, only people over 260 lb were heavy enough to stay on the ground. One morning, the two of them were having breakfast when suddenly boom, Jason shot straight up to the ceiling along with his food. Hanson didn't even flinch. He just rebooted the gravity device, and all the junk plus his son came crashing back down leaving Jason with a few more bruises. Every day before work Hanson would weigh himself and make up the difference with iron balls. Only then could he step outside.

[00:00:37]One day, he spotted a girl through his telescope. Emily took off her headscarf, shook out her dark curly [music] hair, and a smile sweet as honey. Jason fell head over heels right then and there.

[00:00:46]So, for love, Jason went on a crazy mission to gain weight. [music] He stuffed himself with burgers non-stop, and actually packed on quite a few pounds. Jason was thrilled. He wrote a big HI on a piece of paper, worked up the nerve, and held it up for Emily to see. She waved back at him, and just like that they met. But wouldn't you know it, Jason choked on a burger. His dad called 911 right away. The doctor saved him, but he could never eat burgers again. And once he recovered, his weight dropped right back to where it was. But he had to see Emily, so he came up with a new plan to bulk up. He strapped himself to the fridge hoping that would be heavy enough to walk outside. But before he could even leave, his dad caught him in the act and shoved him right back in along with the fridge.

[00:01:22]To keep his only son safe, Hanson moved every heavy object out of the house and locked Jason in his room. Jason lost it and tore up every single one of his drawings. When Hanson saw a sting in his heart, he realized he shouldn't be keeping his son locked up like this. So, he decided to build Jason a pair of gravity boots. [music] The next morning, Hanson gave his son the finished gravity boots and had him strap on a weighted backpack, too. He turned off the gravity device at home to test it out, and sure enough Jason stayed put. Jason threw on those boots and bolted out the door. He headed straight to Emily's building, but Jason didn't want to lie to the girl he loved. So, he switched off his gravity boots and started floating up into the air. His backpack drifted up [music] with him and he tossed away the weights.

[00:01:59]Hanson watched his hopeless son and felt pure despair. But just as Jason reached Emily's floor, she grabbed onto him and flashed the biggest smile. From that day on they lived happily ever after. When Hanson saw this, he looked at his wife's photo and smiled with [music] relief.
