In MMA fighter analysis, key factors include fighter age, fighting style, and competition level, with younger fighters having advantages in power and speed while experienced fighters may have better technique and conditioning; the analysis of Netflix's first MMA card demonstrates how fighters like Nate Diaz (41) and Mike Perry (younger) have different strengths, with Diaz's superior ground game and chin giving him the edge despite Perry's power advantage.

Netflix MVP MMA 1 Rousey vs Carano Full Card Predictions & BreakdownAdded:
Whoa, man. Whoa. He's breaking down the Netflix MMA card. Whoa, man. Fake hardcore, man. Fake.
Oh, man. You got me. All right, you got me. But at the end of the day, I am. Listen, man. I'm kind of looking forward to this card. I can't lie. At least some of the fights. All right, at least some of the fights. Now, what I'm not going to do is pretend that I cannot wait for every single fight on this card. But I will say this, I am excited for this event because it's on Netflix, the biggest streaming platform in the world. MVP Promotions, Jake Paul's, you know, ordeal, they're putting on an MMA event. And I think it's kind of exciting to see how is this going to look, how is it going to be ran, are these fights going to be good, what's the production going to look like? And it's something new. Obviously, we've seen boxing events on Netflix.
Things have looked really good over there. So, I am excited about this. We got the two pioneers basically of women's MMA, Ronda Rousey versus Gina Carano. And I know it's kind of like, well, really, who cares, right? We got two fighters who are 40 plus years of age. I know Ronda's still 39, but basically 40 at this point and Gina 44.
Both of these women have not fought in years. They've not fought in years, but it's basically their names headlining the event. We know how Netflix is with these boxing events. kind of these they're not in the business at least of right now of putting on multiple events and how the UFC is very structured. It's kind of just as far as I know just here's an MMA event and we'll see how it goes. It's basically a going out of business sale a lot of the time like boxing. But two big names, right? This was a fight that a lot of people wanted years ago. It's finally happening. I happening. I actually think that this is the fight Dana might have been talking about a while ago where he's like you're never going to see this fight coming. I think it was this one and now it's on Netflix. The ladies are getting paid happy for him. Again, not a super high level fight, but it's going to be interesting to see two big names get in there and see what happens. This really, if I'm being 100% honest, no BS, this is the reason I'm going to watch the card because these are two fighters that I I mean, Nate Diaz, him and his brother Nick are two of my all-time favorite fighters, and they're actually responsible for me getting into MMA.
That is Nick and then, you know, little brother Nate at the time who wasn't a star whatsoever. I absolutely love the Diaz Bros and then Platinum Mike Perry.
I loved when Mike Perry was in the UFC.
I remember he made his debut. I think it was against Jake Ellenburgger. Had the nasty elbow KO and he's went to BKFC and turned himself into a big name. So, this is basically a low-level, if you will, BMF fight that is going to be Looney Tuneslike, but very entertaining. You got Francis Enanu, who is probably the best heavyweight still in the world, right? He left the UFC on his own terms.
And then we have the sacrifice here of Felipe Leans being thrown in there uh to basically allow us to watch Francisanu get a KO. And then we have Saladine Pernass versus Kenneth Cross. Two prospects ba uh basically right.
Saladine Pernass is actually a guy that I've been wanting to see in the UFC. So hopefully he eventually gets there.
Super explosive fighter, a ton of fun to watch. And Kenneth Cross is an absolute dog and very well-rounded uh himself.
JDS versus Rebelis to Spain. Kind of a weird matchup. I kind of would have rather have seen Rebelis versus Francis and Ganu, but it is what it is. He's a powerful striker. Didn't go so well in the UFC. Brothers got zero, brother. You got zero takedown defense right now.
JDS, the more well-rounded guy, but he's 42. I I don't know. Kind of a slopfest there. Nemo Fazil versus Jake Babian.
Fil's pretty good on a mic, man. He knows how to draw some eyeballs, knows how to talk some game. Jake Babian, good grappler. So, we got some fights on here. Adriana Morice from one championship had the win over Mighty Mouse. Jason Jackson, an absolute savage from the PFL who hopefully we could see him cross over into the UFC at some point. So, we're going to kind of fly through these prelims, uh, if you will, because I'm not going to act like I know so much about these guys. But, I did do at least a little bit of of research so I can at least give you somewhat of a breakdown, but I know who Chris Ave is actually. Um, he's basically the knockoff version of Nate Diaz. He's a very close friend of Nate. They've been friends for years and he basically has the exact same style as Nate, but he's an orthodox instead of being a southpawball. And really, it's he hasn't fought MMA in forever. When was I got some notes over here because it's just too much to remember, man. I I don't know enough about these guys. He was 0 and2 in the UFC, so it didn't go very well. I think they put him on the 202 UFC card when it was McGregor versus Neh Diaz the second time he was thrown on there. And I mean, Chris Aila's jiu-jitsu is pretty good. It It's really his boxing. It's kind of like Nate. It's this kind of sloppy, unorthodox style of boxing. And he's got good output. Does have a little bit more power, I would say, than Nate, but he's kind of sloppy.
You know, he's going to have a slight reach advantage here. Brandon Jenkins, I mean, I don't know, kind of a low-level guy and two in the UFC as well. But to be fair, he fought two, I mean, really good fighters in Jakar Close and Ron Juice. It's not like he fought anybody bad, right? I think recently he's been doing like some gamebred MMA stuff. Was in the PFL. He's kind of just been allaround, man. So, he did get finished in both of those fights. That's good opposition, right? Aila was in Bellator.
Hasn't fought MMA in a really long time.
He boxed Jeremy Stevens, been doing all kinds of stuff. I think Chris Aila wins a decision just based on output, being able to kind of run up the numbers and get this one done. Open stance battle here. Jenkins will probably look to throw in some body kicks. Whoa, he's being too hardcore here, man. Hey man, I got to at least pump myself up for the other fights on this card. I'm going to be watching this and the UFC going back and forth. I'm going to have uh one on both on each screen. So, I do like Chris Ailo because every time he steps in there, he's going to bring it. um you know, a little bit on the sloppier side, but he is pretty entertaining. I think he wins this fight by decision. 29 28 I think it'll be close, but it'll be the output of Aila uh that gets it done if it hits the ground. Jiu-Jitsu is pretty good. I don't know. Kind of a toss up.
Both guys are are suspect in MMA to me, but I'll go AA. Um I just I've seen a little bit more from him in the boxing world. I think he's he's at least a little bit, you know, better on the feet. Next, we got Alen Peda versus Jade Mason Wong. Jade, I believe, is a boxer and Alen Peda is the sister of Alex Pada and she literally has the exact same fighting style of him. This as him. The stance, the movement, the calf kicks, the hand placement, the left hook. She literally is her brother cloned, but just into a woman. Literally fights the exact same way. And she actually has devastating knockout power. I think she fought over in glory kickboxing as well, right? In MMA, her issue has been when people just take her down, right? That that's kind of where she's had some issues. and sometimes can struggle with the output. But they gave her a good matchup here because Jade is a boxer.
She's more of a striker. So, this should play out on the feet. And as long as that's the case, Alen Peda is going to knock out Jade. I I know Jade's boxing is like pretty decent. She actually is like a pretty technical striker. But, I mean, Elaine's going to blast her legs apart, throw those calf kicks, jab to the body, jab to the body, right hand here and there, and then the left hook will eventually land and she'll be able to get uh Wong out of there. I mean, Elaine's been doing karate combat, I believe, as well. Literally fights exactly like her brother, Alex. So, hopefully we could see her in the UFC um at some point. She's a ton of fun to watch and actually is one of the most entertaining women's fighters, I think, on the planet. Uh she's got knockout power, very, very aggressive forward pressure. Think she gets the KO, gets the highlight. Next, we have David um McGoyen versus Albert Morales. Now, actually, I do know who David McGgoyan is. I was like, his name sounds familiar when I was looking at this card. He fought on DWCS against Tommy McMillan. I believe that he's like a protege of Arman Sukian trains with him or or something like that. And this was actually a crazy fight. And I was saying Tommy McMillan's debut that he ended up winning. He got the easy win. It was a chaotic fight. The guy that he fought on DWCS, which is David, is actually better than the guy that um Tommy fought in his debut and he just recently got a win.
This dude's good, man. He's got some power on the feet. Took out one of Nate Diaz's teammates as well, Luciano Ramos.
He's got some power. got a good, you know, ground game. He's only 21 years of age. I think he'll he'll find his way uh into the UFC. When you look at Albert Morales, I mean, just kind of a journeyman at this point. He's pretty game, pretty wellrounded, right? One 4-1 in the UFC. Did fight in Bellator a little bit, but I don't know, man.
Ground game solid. I don't think he's a better grappler than David. Does have more experience, so maybe something he could weaponize here. But I'm going to say I I'm looking at my notes because I wrote down all my predictions here. I'm going to say that Magoyan gets a third round ground and pound TKO stoppage uh in this fight. If not, he'll win a decision. Maybe he submits him. I I don't know. But I I like what I've seen from David. He's on the come up and I actually think he's a guy that'll find his way into the UFC training with Armen. I was impressed with this dog fight against Tommy McMillan. Almost was able to submit Tommy McMillan. Um so maybe he does that in this fight, but I I don't know. Still a lot of uncertainty. I'll I'll say he does get a finish at some point in this fight. I'll say KO. Maybe it's a submission. Next we got Jason Jackson, Jeff Kraton. Um Jeff Kraton was on the Ultimate Fighter. Um you know I think he was was he team Cormier and then he he he did get a win in his first fight. I can't remember the guy's name. Uh he was on Chale's team. He ended up missing Wade and then he's like in order to take the fight you got to pay me so much money or something like that. And they ended up you know so his opponent missed weight. He still got the win. Then he lost to I think it was Rodrigo uh Seaunado. So the thing about Jeff Kraton is like he's okay. I wouldn't be surprised at some point if the UFC like gives him a shot on an Apex card or something, but you know, decent striker, can mix things up pretty well. I think he's going to get smoked in this fight.
Jason Jackson's for real, man. This guy's got a ton of experience and he's the only person to beat Yuroslavis, who we just saw completely dominate Joel Alvarez um on on the 328 card and also dominated Neil Magny before that. So Jason Jackson's for real, man. He was a champion in Bellator, fought in PFL a little bit. I mean, he's got devastating power. There's the Yuruslav Amisav win.
Beat Ray Cooper, who's a good PFL fighter, you know, did lose, right? We we've seen some issues where he gets taken down, you know, a close fight with Dad Gene. I actually thought that he Jason Jackson won the fight. Jason's explosive, trains over at Killcliffe, nasty kicking game, rips, kicks to the body, can throw shots around the guard upstairs. I think he's just better than Jeff everywhere. And I think Jeff, you know, when when he goes in, you know, th those body kicks will be available in this fight for Jason Jackson. And that's where those high kicks will uh come into play. I think Jason Jackson will find a finish at some point in this fight. This is a tough fight, I think, for Jeff Kraton. Big opportunity on Netflix. I think Jason Jackson is uh the much better fighter. I think he gets a stoppage. Next, we got Adrianiano Marice versus um I'm sorry, I do not know how to pronounce this guy's name. Uh Pumi Nakuta.
I'm going to say PN because I don't want to continue to butcher his name. Trains over at Longos MMA. That's a good gym.
He's a solid fighter. Good. Good striking, some good power, solid ground game as well, but this is a big step up in competition. If he can get a win here over Adriano Marice, that'd be huge because Adriano is 37 years of age. But the deal is this was supposed to be Muhammad Mai. And that to me would have been the best actual highle MMA fight on the card, but this is this is a solid fight still, right? Marice, I I assume I I assume that PN's been training, you know, g getting some work in, getting, you know, being prepared for these opportunities to step in. This is going to be a catchweight. I I think that this could potentially be a close fight, but I gotta go off of what I've seen, the experience, and I'm going to side with Adriana Morice to win this fight. I know that, you know, forever ago, he did have the win over Demetrius Johnson. They ran the trilogy. He lost both times. He's coming off of a loss a year ago and won.
He's very well-rounded, good striking, solid ground game, dangerous submission skills. I've just seen a lot more from him uh than I have from Nakuda throughout his career. And maybe Nakuda ends up being really good. I I just given what I've seen, I've seen that Morice has fought the better opposition.
He's been competitive with Mighty Mouse, has a win over him, getting up there a little bit in age. I would have loved to have seen the Maka fight. I think Mia would have beaten him and then that would have been a huge win for Makyav and hopefully we could see him back in the UFC. So, big opportunity here for both guys on the Netflix card, but I'm going to side with Marissa Justine a little bit more and I think he's the more well-rounded experienced fighter at this point. Next, we got Namo Fazil versus Jake Babian. So, Fazil is good on the mic, man. This guy's like very entertaining. Um, he's an explosive striker. He's got serious power in his hands, right? Over in UAE Warriors, over in one championship. We've seen some good things from him in this win. I think that this guy Yakub Sulammanov Sulammanov actually has trained with Hamzat Chamay. He kind of looks like Hamzad a little bit. He's a pretty good fighter and Fazil was able to get him out of there. He's got explosive striking on the feet. Gets a little bit wild and his ground game's okay. Solid submission skills. This to me is going to be if Jake Babian can get the fight in into his world, he'll get the job done. He's a solid wrestler, pretty good ground and pound. You know, a little bit of a submission game as well. Does have some explosiveness on the feet. I think this is a competitive fight and I could see it going either way. But I'm going to side with Physile just because I've seen more from him. Again, this is one of those things where we got a lot of fighters. It's it's hard to find a lot of footage on him. And even the footage that you do find, they're fighting guys that don't seem like they're putting up much resistance to be quite honest. So, you know, with respect, just being honest. So, I've seen Fazil in there with some good competitors. His striking's nasty. He's got power. He's entertaining on the mic. I could see this going either way cuz Babian does have a good ground game and that's potentially where he could get Fizil in some trouble. But, I'm going to say side with Namo because of the striking power and it seems like his ground game is okay and he's fun on the mic, man. So, it'd be cool to see him um possibly get a win here. So, I I don't know. I think it'll be a competitive fight. Rebella Suspain Junior Dos Santos.
I'm going to go JDS by decision. Now, I basically have a double prediction here.
All right, I got a double prediction. If JDS doesn't get him down, Rebellis to Spain will knock him out probably in the first round. And I know that JDS is 42 years of age and JDS has not fought in the UFC since I mean it's been forever, man. Like like five years ago, which is actually kind of crazy. But this is not on here. He has fought recently twice in game bred bare knuckle and he's 2 and 0 right he beat uh Belchure stopped him and then fought for Brucio Berdum Verdoom and beat him by a decision and we saw you know obviously JDS is kind of a legend of the game was 15 and8 in the UFC we all know who JDS is rebellious to Spain 1 and two in the UFC did KO one of the all-time legends in the heavyweight division Josh Parisian uh if you remember that and then it was like whoa man Rebellis to Spain this big scary 6 foot7 monster dude is striking And then we realized, brothers, grappling is zero. Got taken down by Waldo. Got taken down and basically dominated by Austin Lane. Like, can you believe that? Austin Lane dominated this dude. I think it was Austin Lane, right?
Austin Lane dominated this guy, which is just craziness. And the Waldo loss isn't bad because Waldo's actually good. But man, you know, knocked out Josh Parish and it's crazy, man. Absolutely crazy.
He's been over in karate combat knocking out a bunch of people but again it's a lot of basically like low-level UFC guys that got cut and you know whatever. So at least we've seen it's been a while since JDS has won like a highle fight but at least he's been doing okay. I know he's 42 but if he can get the fight to the ground he has a huge advantage there and I think he can do it enough to Spain will get tired. He'll control him.
Maybe even submit him get a TKO ground and pound stoppage but like I said if he doesn't get the fight to the ground JDS will most likely get knocked out. He's older. He's slower, but he does have a I think a solid advantage on the ground to where he could control him or even stick and move stay safe and uh kind of outstrike him a little bit on the feet.
I don't know, man. It feels like Despane should knock him out, but I don't trust the Spain's takedown defense. And how much has he been working on it? I don't know. All right, we got Saladine Parnass versus Kenneth Cross. This is a good fight because Kenneth Cross is a dog, man. He's wellrounded. He's got some striking, got a solid ground game. We've seen that, right? Training over at Syndicate. That's a good team over there. You know, I like a lot of the things I've seen from Kenneth Cross, right? Kind of a a guy that's been looked at as a prospect that could potentially be in the UFC, but this is a tough fight for him because Saladine Pernass, right? His last loss was, you know, two and a half years ago to where he lost by a decision, but what we've seen from this guy over in KSW, he is nasty and this is a dude that I want to see in the UFC. 28 years of age, his striking is a ton of fun to watch. He's explosive, right? Southpaw moving around ripping kicks to the body, nasty head kicks, and he is a finisher for I mean he tries to finish the fight like this dude goes out there and is just guns blazing throwing big shots on the feet.
His ground game is pretty good as well.
He's a very well-rounded fighter and I think that it's definitely possible that Cross could weather a storm, drag this fight out and find a way, you know, to get this thing done. But that's a tall task, man. Given that Saladine Pernass, I think is one of the best like fighters, like prospects outside of the UFC that hopefully we could see in the UFC at some point, I feel like this is the stage for him to, you know, a lot of eyes are going to be on this man. This is a big opportunity for him. He's got a little bit of a reach advantage here. I think he's the cleaner striker, the more powerful striker. The ground game, maybe you could say Cross has some sort of advantage there, but I don't know. Kind of hard to tell based off of what I've seen coming into the fight. I'm going to go Saladine Pernass. I think he gets a finish regardless. It's just a matter of I could see him rocking him, dropping him, and then, you know, locking up a sub, but I think he knocks him out on the feet. Those head kicks are nasty, and he's got some good straight combos down the pipe. Give me Saladine Pern, the dude. Uh, he's legit, man. He's explosive. Next, we got Francis Enanu versus Felipe Lind. The fights that people care about. um like Felipe like to me I would have rather have seen Enanu versus Despain but I guess you could say that well and Ganu would just take to Spain down and run him over. So I do kind of understand that and listen people are making fun of Felipe Leans in this matchup like do I think he wins? Absolutely not. Like let's let's just be be clear. We're not going to like the X's and O's here.
Felipe Leans he's not beating Inganu dog. Like he's not beating Inganu. And if he does, it'd be one of the biggest upsets we've ever seen in the history of combat sports. But to act like Felipe Leans is some sort of like bum or something is actually kind of disrespectful because he's almost 41 years of age. I get that. But he was 4-2 in the UFC and his last UFC fight was two years ago and he beat INBA by a decision. And like Coo Laba has been pretty good. He's actually been beating some solid opposition, but again, this is light heavyweight, right? Knocking out OSP, right? So he's got some some solid wins, right? getting knocked out by Tanner Bozer, you know, almost six years ago is a bad look, but still like he's actually like kind of decent. It's not like he's like some complete scrub.
Like he did okay in the UFC, but compared to Enanu, like dude, we're taking like a middle-of the road light heavyweight versus one of the greatest heavyweights of all time, if not the greatest. Enanu is going to destroy him.
like this. This literally is all about is Inganu literally just going to drag this fight out for like like just the intent of like trying to have fun or make it competitive just because or like that's the only way that Enanu does not destroy Felipe Linds. Like if if this is like Enanu just going in there and and actually like fighting to the highest of his level, Enanu will destroy Felipe Lind. He will literally blitz him, throw crazy power shots. One of them will land. Lind will go down. He'll curl up into a ball and the fight will be over, which I don't blame him. I wouldn't want to get blasted into the stratosphere by Enanu either. Or Enanu will just take him down, get into a top position and then just stop him with ground and pound like we saw against Henon Feda. And Henon Feda is arguably maybe a little bit better than Felipe Leans. And I know Feda is a heavyweight, but Lean's a light heavyweight. I don't know, man. At 41 years of age, he's not going to be quick enough to get out of the way. I mean, we're talking about, like I said, in Ganu, arguably the greatest heavyweight of all time. And I think one of the greatest for sure. You know what I left on his own terms. He's gotten paid boxing, you know, Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, he's made a ton of money for himself. I've always liked Francis and Ganu, man. I think he absolutely destroys Felipe Leans as long as he actually goes out there and does that.
But if he's like, I want to drag this out, make it a little bit more entertaining because everyone's expecting some sort of fast KO. That's the only way that this fight goes outside of the very first round, man.
Andu will blitz him, catch him early, beat him up on the ground if he takes him down, and he's gonna TKO ground and pound or knock out leans on the feet.
Linds is basically a sacrificial lamb for Enanu to get a highlight in my opinion. All right, this is the fight I actually care about. Nate Diaz versus Mike Perry. Like I said, I like both of these guys a lot, right? Nate Diaz, the Diaz brothers got me into the sport.
Nate obviously a legend of the game, an OG, an old head, right? the the McGregor fights, the fight with Jorge Mosvidol, you know, and and Nate Diaz is one of the guys where if he wins, you know, obviously people celebrate, but if he loses, people don't care. Like people just love Nate Diaz because of his personality, his persona. He's entertaining every time that he's in there. You know that you're going to be in for a fight, right? Lost to McGregor in the rematch, which was a very, very close fight. Um, you know, came back after a couple years away, beat Anthony Pettis, which was very impressive, right? the the BMF fight against Roy Mos. And by the way, Nate is the reason the BMF belt exists. So, all of you that like to dog on Nate, that's why the BMF belt uh exists. The Leon Edwards fight, again, it's all about moments for Nate Diaz, despite getting dominated by Leon, lands the left hand, and then no one cares that Leon won the fight.
Everyone's talking about how Nate rocked him and pointed at him and uh kind of was making fun of him, flipping him off, and then, you know, where he was supposed to fight Hamzad, Hamzot misses weight, they give him Tony Ferguson, gets the sub. Listen, Nate Diaz is 41 years of age. I can't believe he's 41, man. Like I remember watching Nate, like me as a little kid watching him and to see where he is now, you know? And then Mike Perry, like Mike Perry came into the UFC, right? He was seven and eight in the UFC. I remember the Jake Ellenburgger elbow, which was kind of crazy. I think that might have been his debut. That was ferocious, right?
Remember Mike Perry at the face off.
Thought you HAD A FRIEND, BOY. LIKE MIKE PERRY'S A he's a character, dude, right?
Got his face, you know, destroyed by Jeff Neil or his nose or whatever. Had the close fight with Vicente Luke. Beat the heck out of Mickey Gaul with no corner. I think that was the fight where he had like his girlfriend in his corner or whatever. Like Mike Perry's a he's a he's a clown, man. He's a funny individual, but one thing about Mike Perry is going to bring it every single time, right? Lost to D-Rod by decision.
Like Mike Perry's actually like I think he fought at middleweight a little bit in some of these fights if I'm not mistaken. So Mike Perry's very physically strong. He's a lot younger.
He's been in BKFC, you know? He's like the what's the the the belt that they have the I don't I forget what it's called. King of violence. Yeah. So he's like the king of violence over in BKFC.
He's been really good over there.
Beating Luke Rock hold, Jeremy Stevens, you know, Julian Lane. He's been beating some really tough dudes, man. You know, so he's got power. Doesn't move his head at all. Just going to move forward. And that's what's fun about this fight. No game plans. We're just going to go out here and fight. No, I I'm going to do this stick and move to These guys are just going to walk at each other and fight. And I think Mike Perry clearly has the the power advantage. He's an underrated grappler, but he hasn't fought MMA in a while, right? The last MMA fight that he had was what was it like 5 years ago or something? Yeah. So, how has he been doing with the grappling? Because I can tell you right now, Nate Diaz is jiu-jitsu. You could say whatever you want about Nate. His ground game is really good. Like he's got a nasty guillotine, really good off of his back. His guard is good. He's got good arm bars, good, you know, triangles. I think Nate Diaz is like the more like his boxing is kind of sloppy and it's Looney Tunes, right? He's going to be doing the antics, smiling at him, go, you know, covering up, you know, walking around, putting his hand on the cage, sticking his rear end at Perry.
Like he's going to they're going to it's going to be an entertaining fight in terms of that. But I'm going to go Nate Diaz. I think he wins by decision. And I feel like a lot of people are going to pick Mike Perry. And I get it. He's younger. He's got more power. But he's pretty predictable. He loads up on a lot of his punches and he's just going to walk forward. The problem I have or the thing that worries me for Nate is he's not going to have enough sting to get Perry off of him, right? Because when you've been doing BKFC, you know, Perry's a dog. He's very durable. I just think Nate, he throws punches and bunches. If the fight hits the deck, I think Perry will be stronger and be the better wrestler. But Diaz's ground game is really good to where I could see him potentially latching up a submission and choke it out. Mike Perry in the mid to later rounds, but I think it'll be one of those things where Nate lands an occasional left hand in there that can, you know, sting Perry a little bit, keep busy with the boxing, the long straight combos down the pipe, the slap, right?
Maybe maybe we'll get a Stockton slap in here and Nate Diaz can get it done, I think, via decision. I don't think Perry's knocking him out. Nate Diaz Nate is very tough tough. One of the best chins of all time. He's got a great gas tank as well, despite smoking a bunch.
Nate Diaz has one of the all-time great gas tanks. uh and chins. This is going to be a fun fight. Um I think if someone gets stopped, it would be Diaz submitting Mike Perry. I I think Perry will land some big shots, but I think Diaz can outvolume him and get the job done. This is the fight I'm looking forward to the most on the card. And then the main event, I mean, like I I like to support these women, right? Because they're they're pioneers of the game. Ronda Rousey, you know, she's an OG. Gina Corano is an OG.
Gina has not fought since 2009, and her only loss in her career was Chris Cyborg. And this was almost 17 years ago, man. That is the last time that she fought. 17 years ago. You know, she's been acting. She's been doing more acting than anything, right? So, it's like, you know, Gina Carano obviously she's built a heck of a career for herself and all those kinds of things.
You know, she was kind of like before her time in the UFC, like had a couple, you know, decent wins, right? Could outstrike people, you know, mix things up. Her striking was was good for back then. And then she ran into a monster and Chris Cyborg and lost. And then Ronda Rousey's last fight was in 2016 to where she got stopped by Amanda Nunez almost 10 years ago, you know, got head kicked by Holly Holm and that that was the end. WWE, all that kind of stuff.
The bottom line is Ronda Rousey should win this fight. I think this is Ronda's fight to lose. Maybe they drag this one out for entertainment purposes. If if they don't if that doesn't happen and Ronda doesn't try to drag it out, I know that these women are fans of each other, so maybe that like hinders Rhonda going out there and looking for, you know, a quick finish or something. I think she'll just literally I mean her judo's good. She'll get a hold of of Corano, toss her down and probably get that patented arm bar and get Gina Corano out of there. So, this is all about kind of hype clicks, a cash grab all around for everybody. I get it. But at the end of the day, the this is really not highle MMA throughout the card. It's just more of an an entertainment thing being thrown together. But it's cool to see Netflix getting into the MMA game. I guess they're kind of giving it a little bit of a go to see how it all plays out.
But Ronda Rousey, she's a little bit younger. I mean, she's been obviously she's fought a lot more recent recent than Gina Carano uh has. And Ronda, she's tough. She's durable uh for the most part when she's not fighting Nunes or Holly Holm who are really, you know, at the time were incredibly high level.
So, and Nunz still to this day very high level. So, not bad losses. Ronda's ground game much better than Gina. Stays on the feet. I could see Carano getting better at the striking, but given this point, Gina hasn't fought in years.
Ronda hasn't fought in years. I don't It's going to be a slopfest, but I think Ronda Rousey gets her down and ends up submitting her. But if you guys enjoyed this video, do me a favor.
