This is a masterclass in empirical meteorology that bridges the gap between complex atmospheric theory and the visceral reality of supercell dynamics. It provides a rare, high-stakes synthesis of real-time data and raw natural power.

LIVE Tornado Chase In ALBERTA and Saskatchewan
Added:Hello everybody. Uh currently in extreme eastern Alberta tracking a threat for supercells today.
Storms have been a struggling to get going, but we've got some towers that have got and we've got some more going up to our west.
So, look like we might have convective further east than I was expecting.
Here's another one going up here off to the west.
So, we do have attempts at Alberta right now.
would love to see some more CU forming of the south.
Keep moving east.
You can see these towers a little bit bigger to the west.
got a big uh like forest land or reservation up here between us and these.
So, I was hoping these ones back behind us would do something.
back to the west.
I'm going to try to get going back there.
There is some more CU forming here.
That rocking mountain house supercell is nice.
These guys look like pretty good.
All right, I'm going to start making my way east stuff to our west to see if it ends up developing into anything.
You can easily come back on it.
I said I'd love to see the CU feel way south, but things are blowing Oh, is there no way cross.
So again, I'm on the other side of this M reservation or whatever it is over by Lon Lake.
along the warm front.
Damn, that one's exploding back there.
Wow.
One of as well.
Big supercell's going up to our north.
Beautiful.
Two big beautiful super to our north.
Heat. Heat.
All right, we're going to turn towards uh them here on a side.
Super sauce here. Oh, we're keep going. Eastoon we were maybe how far is it to go north up there cherry it's an hour and five Ter look at And I wonder the west looks the best though.
All right, here we go. Blasting north towards these storms.
Got storms all along the warmfront here.
Back to the west, northeast. The two big ones are to the northeast.
This far right one is tornado warned.
can see the base of this one.
That high elevation it gave me a view of the base.
Heat.
Heat.
Hey, dude.
Heat.
Heat.
We should have a good view over here.
Oh, there it is. Big base under it.
The base right there.
Heat. Heat.
Wow, that gopher got very lucky. Yeah, he smoked it.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat. Heat.
All right.
Storm is anchored.
more towers off to our west trying to go up.
Clear slot and base right over the road of this Beaver Dam storm right there.
Heat. Heat.
Yeah, gas. And it's open.
Still 18 miles from the storm.
I wish I would stop getting alerts about a missing person from Calgary all day.
Keep thinking I got a tornado warning.
Like literally, I've got the warning about 20 or the alert about 20 times today. I don't know if it's cuz I keep switching cell towers and every time I connect to a new cell tower, they send me the missing person alert or something.
The one to our northwest is severe warrant. It's this big one over here right there. That's severe warrant. This one is not worn.
I probably should have got gas at that gas station back there, but Yeah, it's really exploding. Look at that top.
Heat.
Heat.
Still just anchored down. Beauty.
Heat.
Oh, I just saw the lake.
That was a big lake.
Oh, yeah. That's a big lake. Holy.
I think it's over the lake. Heat. Heat.
two.
Well, we got options here. We got a storm to our northeast and we got a storm to our northwest.
Hoping when we get up here and we have to make a decision on which way to go, there's a gas station.
Get a wall cloud on the one to the north west.
They have fun in there.
Heat. Heat.
a big tower to our west, northwest.
Severe storm to our west. Northwest.
You're looking at it.
up here going through Bonnieville.
Oh yeah, I just saw a big wall cloud off to the west.
Heat. Heat.
Heat up here.
storm to our northwest is going to dominate the environment here.
Marielle Lake, Alberta.
Oh yeah, big wide on it.
So many damn trees.
It's big. Big walk off.
Caught a glimpse of it. See if I can give you guys a view. I'll give you a view. But we're going to turn west in 9 kilometers.
Uh, had a momentary view.
Oh, here we go.
Big wall cloud under it.
Another little cell right in front of us. That's this base right here.
Man, it's got to come over that lake though, doesn't Let's see what we got for gas stations up here.
Yeah, we got a bunch of gas stations up here towards the storm.
That's 40 km. I don't know if we can go that far.
The storm is in Bonnie.
So, this little cell is kind of dying right here.
Heat. Heat.
Finally turn towards it here in just a second.
There's a wall cloud right over the road.
That first one we were on is looking better now.
The base of this wood is right here.
Even it's got some rotation on it. Okay, hold on.
Here's this base right here.
That's got some rotation up there.
See if I can find a spot where we can see all these bases.
Maybe from up here.
Can't see back to the west.
Okay, here we go. From up here, we can look back to the left.
Only thing we can't see is that storm to the southeast right now.
Okay, here's this little cell coming over the top of us.
Can't see the other one though.
It's hidden by these trees. the base.
Just going to pull up a little bit out of the way.
360 Just Final cloud there, right?
That's moving pretty rapidly.
Probably could have made it in the body for We got to go north a bit. Then we can turn back left.
All right, we're going to turn to the start turning back to the west towards it now.
I think it gets a little better visibility up here, too. Less trees coming up.
Oh, hey, the stream's back. Had no data this whole time.
This tornado war super here.
Hook slicing lowering there in front of us.
Hey, look like I had earlier on the on radar velocity scan. I had no visual though.
Oh, I got a visual here. And these trees clear out in a second. There we go.
Yeah, nice wall cloud there. Rapid rising wall cloud there.
The road's Jesus.
Too much rain.
Too much rain and trees.
About to pop out of this rain.
We have a view to our right the bigger to our right.
No.
Okay. I got a view to the left.
Don't see that rising motion.
Jesus, was that was a Big one.
Damn.
There's a couple now See, I got a visual.
visual here. There's a clearing Come on, give me the right.
Hold on. Another clearing. Maybe clear up and rain.
Oh, I might get a view right here.
Let's see. Come on. Show me the base there.
like a Dodge Charger or something Dragon Don't fight Yeah, This one still looks pretty too baby.
I got some new Heat. Heat.
Right.
Right there.
Ready here.
Let's see.
Oh yeah.
Can't wait to get out of this forest.
That was a pretty big lowering out there.
See, it not even live.
I was trying to Lon Lake.
Lon Lake, Alberta.
god.
Heat. Heat.
Oh. Whoa, big shelf cloud, guys.
Pretty.
Wow, look at that shelf.
Beautiful play.
Oh, There Three and a half kilome cloud.
