This video documents a family's experience with a diabetic emergency where their mother's blood sugar levels reached 37 (an emergency state), requiring urgent hospitalization. The family faced significant challenges including high costs at private hospitals, full HDU and ICU units at public facilities, and the need to transfer between hospitals due to resource constraints. The case illustrates how diabetic emergencies can rapidly deteriorate, the importance of immediate medical intervention, and the systemic challenges in healthcare access that families may encounter during medical crises.

MOMS HEALTH EMERGENCY. | SHE GOT ADMITTED. | THE REASON WE HAVE NOT BEEN POSTING AS PROMISED.Added:
Hi everybody, welcome back to the Jinx family YouTube channel. If you're new here and everybody who have just subscribed, kindly consider subscribing and turning on the notification bell. To our returning subscribers, thank you so much for your continuous support. We have failed you once again. We're really sorry and here's a video to explain why.
Um, so this is a hospital and the reason why we are here is because our mom fell very ill. She was in an emergency state.
Uh, we had to rush her to the hospital.
I think it was on the 11th.
Yeah, 11th. It was on a Saturday. They had to rush her to the hospital at 2:00 a.m. They tried to stabilize her because toi ta she could not walk. She couldn't open her eyes. She she was just weak guys.
She was dehydrated. So they tried to stabilize her comp.
That is what was happening around 6. They were still stabilizing her and giving her fluids because she was very dehydrated. Yeah. So what happened is our mom got very sick on Saturday. her sugar levels um rose to 37 which was an emergency state. Yes, that's me. That's me still looking cute.
Oh, guys, by the way, I am activating my YouTube channel. We're going to be posting again very soon. So, please stay tuned and subscribe to my channel. Yeah, this is my dad. This was some results that uh we had already got from the doctor. So he was calling his doctor friend to confirm some things because the man was stressed since he wanted to look out to make me flow at this point at the hospital. So yeah, they stabilized her and here she was moving at least and we did not know it was going to get worse later on. Um because I remember the first hospital we went to was a private one and then they demanded for a lot of money like a lot a lot that we didn't have. So we went to um went to another private. They still demanded for a lot. Then we went to a public one. The only public hospital in Tika, the ta level 5. Yeah. And they helped us stabilize her on Saturday at 2:00 a.m. because took the hospital Sunday 12 a.m. We were there like the whole day for 24 hours because we went to the other hospital at exactly 2:00 a.m. as well on Sunday. So please stay tuned, watch the video. Um yeah, I was saying um she got sick. Her sugar levels rose to 37 which was considered as an emergency state. So she was not able to move. She wasn't able to walk. She was vomiting. She was shivering, feeling very cold. It got severe. Um it's like she was half dead because she was not doing nothing. She was not responding to anything. She was just sick, guys.
Seline um Aliqua with her husband. We told her she got panic attacks. So, I told her not to come. That mom was stable. She came later on. You're going to see. But um because the girl was also stressed and you're scared at the same time. Mango was busy crying, which I understand it's her mom at the end of the day. I had to be strong of course with dad. Dad cried later. He he says and atanga like he's been saying he's the only one that knows what he saw that day because they were together in the room when the whole thing happened and he's he keeps saying he's the one that knows what happened and he's the one that saw how she was and anytime he would talk about it he the man would just cry for sorry for him but it's for better for worse right for better for worse but anyway guys so this was me trying to give her strength being there with her because she's scared of needles. I am scared of needles. So, I understand her being scared of Cindano is I think it runs in the blood. My dad is equally scared. I don't know. It's just it just runs in the blood. But yeah, yeah, we they tried to do their best. She got stable. She could eat. She slept most of the time.
So what happened is we were supposed to get an admission in the HDU unit but uh in this public hospital but the HDU was full the general w they opted to take her to thereine she came still stressed you can see so they opted to take her to um general w was also full nobody was getting discharged so what happened the reason why we stayed here in LA room 32 I don't know if you guys know the room 32 in level thicker level five where the doctors see people. So this is the bed that is usually there. So they just covered it for us. Then we stayed there the whole day. It's like we were admitted there the whole day because they wanted to stabilize her. She was in a very bad state. So the the the general w was also full. HDU was full. ICU was full. So city on Sunday and we had to move her to another hospital because she started getting shivers again. I think cold the cold um weather it got worse and yeah we had to move her um to another hospital so that she can get admission and proper treatment and we waited we like waited the whole day because they were telling us let's just wait and see if somebody is going to be discharged then we can admit her they already had file set up and everything set up we were just waiting for um somebody to be discharged and unfortunately it didn't happen. We wanted it to happen because we didn't have the money at that time and things were going to be hard. Oh, you're going to watch another video after this.
Things got bad. But anyway, we thank God that she's better, getting better, under treatment and all that. So, ilica midnight and midnight of Sunday and we had to step out of the room because somebody else came in that was in a now much worse situation, could not breathe and all that. They needed to put her on oxygen. So, we had to leave the room.
She was using wheelchair all this time.
So we we stepped out and yeah, we were in the cold for like 2 hours from 12:00 to uh 2 again on Sunday and she got worse cuz I remember we were we were pushing her um using the wheelchair moving her around so that she can at least get her mind distracted and she fell and that's when it got really really bad. So I went back to the doctor and they referred us to a private hospital the nearest because she needed urgent treatment. So, we were referred to um a hospital here in Tika, private one. We got there and things got worse.
I don't know. I I really don't know how to explain it. Right now, I have the strength to do the video because she's like in a better position and in a better state. The the day that this happened and I was recording and I wanted to post the video, I was not strong enough to do it because remember this is my cousin Bianca. Yeah, the whole family was here because remember I am a very emotional person. I'll be crying all over and I could not cry because everybody else was crying and somebody had to be strong for the family. So yeah, so we were referred to the other hospital and we had to go there and we got there they had to do some other test. She was shivering, vomiting in an emergency state again back to square one. Yeah, you're going to see that at the end of the video and in the next video. And yeah, they had they say they had she had to be admitted in HDU because her ketones I I think that's what they said. Her ketones and her sugar levels were very high. 37 is considered as an emergency state. And yeah, that's just what happened. Yeah, she was making stories, guys. Yeah, it's at night. We were out trying to get her to the other hospital and yeah, we got there. This was her state when we got there. very severe. So guys, please watch the video to the end. Thank you for the ones that have watched. Stay tuned on the next video. We're going to be posting again after this. And we're back to content creation. We did not leave, guys. It's just that I was massaging her because she was in pain.
