Take Those Unlawful Orders Somewhere ElseAdded:
in your investigation.
>> You are. I'm not.
I'm not.
Why she not a lawful order?
That's not a lawful order. It is a lawful order. That's I don't consent to your lawful order. Well, you about to consent or not. I'll put you in the back of the seat. I don't mind. I don't mind.
Welcome back everyone to Audit Justice.
If you're new here, make sure to hit that subscribe button, turn on notifications, and drop a like to support the channel. Today, I found yet another group of gangsters in uniform over at the Miami Police Department displaying the exact kind of tyrannical behavior we've come to expect. What we continue to see in Miami is unlawful orders, abuse of authority without justification, and complete disrespect for citizens' rights. I'm not going to waste too much time with the intro because this video deserves to get straight to the point. Today's footage comes from a channel called Cops Hate Cameras. Make sure to go support them and let them know I sent you. They're still pretty new with only a couple of videos on their channel, but trust me, after watching the encounter you're about to see, you'll understand why this channel deserves attention. They also uploaded another video involving a different city in Miami, and that one is worth watching, too. I'll leave their channel link along with both video links down in the description below. Stick around throughout the video because I'll be checking back in with my thoughts.
And as always, I'll also be down in the comments talking with all of you.
Well, what does it matter? Huh? What does it matter? Cuz we got a call, and we're here. About what? About somebody who's been drinking, and then they're trying to get into their car and drive away.
How do you know it wasn't me? Sure. So, what's your name?
What does it matter?
So, if you tell me your name, and it's not the name that they told us, then we can just go away. You can go away without me telling you my name.
What Why?
Why?
What's going on? Is it better if he asks you your name? What's going on? No, what's going on?
I'm asking him his name to see if his name is the one that they told us about, so that if got >> about somebody somebody trying >> told him what it is. He just doesn't want to [ __ ] tell me his name because I don't know. I don't know why. Why are you using that kind of language? Huh?
Why are you using that kind of language?
Why are you being so uncooperative? Why should I be cooperative? Because I think I've been quite I think I've been a nice guy. I just want to save you from if it is you, I just want to save you from getting in trouble, dude. That's all it is. You can't save me from getting in trouble if I'm not doing anything to get in trouble. Right, and I'm just trying to verify that you're not, bro. That's all it is. We got a call we got a call about somebody who's trying I just don't know why you got to be like this. That's why he asked you your name. I'm all right.
No problem, bro. Have a great night. All right, YouTube. You have a good night.
In my opinion, that officer looked like a complete rookie. Just look at the way he approached this man. His attitude, tone, and overall behavior all screamed inexperience and arrogance. But credit absolutely goes to the cameraman because that is exactly how you handle a situation like this. Staying calm, knowing your rights, and refusing to be baited into escalating things, that's something a lot of people can learn from. Now we're moving on to the next encounter, and trust me, this one is just as intense. Make sure to stick around because I really want to hear what you all think about what's happening here. Enjoy the video, everyone.
Stay back.
If you're going to record me, it's fine.
Just do it on the side of my car.
Appreciate it, man. Thank you.
Cuz your phone is distracting me.
There's a lot of people here.
How am I you.
I'm talking to you and I'm not I can't think. You don't have to talk to me. You You can stay over there.
>> me. This is a safety issue. I'm not distracting you, bro.
>> I'm going to be honest with you and I'll be respectful as as as much as I can, all right? Officer, turn on your body camera.
We're doing an investigation. This is a private investigation. You should go to the sidewalk.
This is not the sidewalk. I need you to go to the sidewalk. Listen, you can I'm not I'm not obstructing your investigation.
>> You are. I'm not. I am. We have to talk I'm giving you a lawful Why she not giving you a lawful order That's not a lawful order. It is a lawful order to move to the side. I don't consent to your lawful order. Well, you're about to consent to a lawful order and I'll put you in the back of the seat. I don't mind. I don't mind. You want to go to the side or you It it'll be it'll be a fine on the city, not me.
>> Listen, what are you talking about? I'm not obstructing your investigation.

Okay, that's great. Listen, man. Listen, we're talking >> You're going to use You need to move to the side or you You You They came over here talking to me. I didn't say nothing to none of these officers.

>> Okay, I'm going to tell you anything is legal now, by the way.
>> But you have a gun on you open carrying.
How am I a threat?
You can tell I'm not a threat.

>> Please do it.
>> You can do your investigation. I'm standing right here. Look, look, I'm going to talk to her right go like this.
You're a threat to me, man. You did that.
Just because you want to talk to her, you don't You can't give me a direct order to stand over here for nothing, bro.
Yeah, pay me Thank you. Thank you.
That's a good What's your name and badge number?
>> I don't sacrifice my safety to What's your name and badge number?
Cabrera 444123 That's beautiful. That's beautiful. You That's professional. That's a professional right there.
Now this right here is completely unacceptable, folks. The officer standing with his back turned in the video is officer Vega from the Miami Police Department and the bearded officer is officer Santana, the same guy who kept giving unreasonable orders and threatening citizens for no valid reason. I honestly don't understand when these guys are finally going to learn the law and realize that people have the right to record. Every time they see a camera, they start acting like they're above the law and the worst part is that none of this ever had to happen if they simply respected citizens' rights from the beginning. But keep watching because the next part gets even more interesting. I really want to hear what you all think about this situation.
Carrera is a professional guy.
These other two officers is tie wrestling.
They forget that you work in America.
They think they work in Nazi Germany or somewhere.
Hey, uh did that go back or what?
Threatened me with arrest because I didn't want to stand on the sidewalk.
This is crazy, man.
And this is what we got to deal with in our community.
All right, you guys probably did something you ain't supposed to do, but I'm doing something I'm legally allowed to do.
This is a protected activity that I'm doing right now. I'm just recording officers in their official capacity and they go out come um rushing me.
I didn't commit no crime.
But they want to put me on a crime by threatening me, by putting me in cuffs and behind a squad car.
Think about that.
See, we we give these guys a gun and we give these guys a badge, but they don't respect it.
No, I'm I'm narrating on my camera. I'm narrating to my to my audience.
I I said those guys may have did something wrong, but I'm talking about the wrong that the officers did by giving me unlawful directive orders to move on the sidewalk. He didn't ask me He didn't ask me or he didn't ask me.
They directed me to move. I I'm telling you that you But see, you are addressing me.
You're addressing me. You're right.
You're right. Yeah. I'm talking to the camera.
This guy asked me This guy asked me was I street lawyer because I know a little bit of my rights.
See how fast they are ready to violate your amendments?
Look at how they got more cars showing up. [ __ ] out.
This is a sergeant.
How you doing?
Huh?
What's your name and badge number?
What's your name and badge number?
Thank you.
After watching situations like this for so long, I'll be honest with you guys.
The problem isn't the camera or someone standing on the sidewalk. The real problem is that some officers automatically think anyone who knows their rights is somehow being difficult or resisting them. The cameraman in this video wasn't causing a disturbance, wasn't interfering with the investigation. He was simply standing there recording. But instead of staying calm and professional, they immediately started giving orders, making threats, and trying to control the situation just because they didn't like being filmed.
In America, recording police in public is a right protected under the First Amendment as long as you're not interfering with their duties. That's not a special privilege. Um it's a lawful constitutional right. And the more I watch videos like this, the more I understand why so many people are losing trust in certain officers. If they simply respected citizens' rights from the start, none of these situations would escalate in the first place.
