[00:00:00]NASA found a giant eye in space and it's staring at Earth. This is the Helix Nebula, also known as the Eye of God.

[00:00:07]It looks like a massive glowing eye floating in the darkness of space, but it's actually something far more terrifying. The Helix Nebula is a dying star. When the star ran out of fuel, it exploded its outer layers into space creating this giant cosmic shape. It is over 650 light years away from Earth and nearly 2.5 light years wide.

[00:00:27]That means our entire solar system could fit inside it.

[00:00:30]The [music] bright center is the remains of the dead star still burning with intense heat and one day our own sun may look like this, too. The Eye of God isn't watching us. It's showing us the future.
