Now, unlike what TV shows sometimes suggest, almost all modern penile implants are considered MRI conditional and are generally safe for MRI scans under specific conditions. But, the bigger lesson here is this. Your medical history matters. Do not take it for granted. Before any test or procedure, your health care team needs accurate information to keep you safe. Are you Do you have a pacemaker? Are you on blood thinners? Metal implants? Previous surgeries? Allergies? Medical devices?
