So, that's cool. So, hi guys.
I miss you all.
I decided to make these live and this is really live. So, I am in my car riding on my normal trips.
And just to give you a couple of uh indications and say that I miss you guys. I miss making my videos.
But in fact time is really short right now.
And I am really struggling with time to make these videos.
Um but it is what it is. I do hope that in the next months we will have some news.
Um and then I will have a lot of content to make.
So, probably you guys know that I have been testing the 5.9.5 version. So, the new version.
Unfortunately, I cannot disclose um much of the things that we will get.
So, I don't know if there is anyone on the on the live that it's also testing it.
But I can say that we have a lot of stuff to um to have fun with in the next update. I do hope so.
Because it's going to be a big update.
Uh so, it's it's nice. Xpeng is in fact listening and making a lot of stuff that we have been asking for some time now.
Um still things to be corrected, to be honest.
Um some things also um needs to be better implemented.
But we are still testing, so let's see.
So, I see here Hugo saying that no better yet. No, I we are already in the third version of the beta.
Um and uh from what I understood, there is going to be at least one more round for the beta because they are getting the feedback from the beta testers, and then probably they will do a public beta.
So, please be aware of the X Bank app. Guys, remember that it's better to have the X Bank app on the global settings if you are not used to get the invitations from X Bank.
Because usually if you are, for instance, in Portugal and you have your app defined for Portugal, uh probably you will not get um indication of the betas. So, uh if you are in that type of situation and you never get this type of uh events, uh remember that God, I have a dog in the road. Um remember to uh change the region of your um X Bank app to global, uh and then you can define the language still to whatever language you prefer.
Um but you will get access to the events tab, and probably you will get uh invited also. It's I don't know if it will be the same as on the previous one.
It will be very fast, and and um probably the slots will be filled in uh very quickly. So, be aware. I will try to give you an indication uh at least from my knowledge on when we can expect that, but for now, the information that we got is that we will have still one round additional round for only the uh beta testers that were selected. Uh and then probably then the public release, the public beta, and then finally the public release.
But again, guys, a lot of stuff a lot of stuff um on several domains in the car.
So, I I believe that at the end, even though that I still believe that there are some things that need to be better defined, I still believe that it's going to be a good update. If everything comes out, I do believe that it's going to be a good update. Okay?
So, I cannot disclose much, but it's just to give you some glances of what is going on.
Also, you probably already saw a couple of news and rumors that there is a new car coming around from X Peng.
Um I I do hope it it seems that it's going to be presented in Munich in a couple of months. I believe in July.
Um most people already think that uh what car it's going to be. Um there is no official communication, so in principle it will be presented there.
Uh so, it will be It should be a surprise, but I believe that most people that are aware and trying to get information from X Peng already knows more or less what is expected to present it in July.
Um and um I don't know if I will be there. Um I hope so.
And if I will, of course, I will try to register everything and um bring it back to you guys also.
And what about you guys? What have you been doing during these my absence since I went to China?
Um I thought I was going to make a lot of videos, but in fact, due to these uh personal and um professional role that I am taking now, um it's getting complicated to have time to record and bring you some news.
And as I told you, I believe that I already covered most of the things on the G6 um and currently I am out of ideas of what I can explore.
I got already some people saying to dismantle the car. There was a guy, a Spanish guy in the in the comment section of the videos saying that the build quality is so bad that I should dismantle the car and and see below the car how the quality it is and of course I answered to him I am an owner guys. I am not a mechanic. I don't understand nothing about cars. I just drive my car and I give you my feeling of what it is to drive an Xpeng G6. So I will not disassemble my car for sure just to make him happy or to prove him wrong or whatever it is. I have my car since February last year. I am very happy with it.
It doesn't make any sound. Guys, one thing that I remember today and I was almost I wanted to record was that I am taking a lot of Ubers recently because due to my professional role and my wife's professional role, she is taking my >> [clears throat] >> G6, my Xpeng G6 many days with her and leaving me without a car.
And due to that I sometimes have to pick up an Uber and I always choose electric. And I have been been driven a lot of EVs, special MGs and some other brands, Teslas of course and some others.
And guys, I I I have to say every time that I enter in different EV, I have I do remember my my X bank because the build quality it's it's it's a different level. Of course, I have been in Ubers that are in a different class of category of car, different price tags, so I cannot expect that the Leaf can have the same build quality of the X bank G6, of course not.
But the reality is that I enter in those cars, MGs and and stuff like that, and I always think that I do like my G6 a lot.
Hi to all that are entering on the live without any notice. Sorry for that, but I just remember that I was going to do this right, so why not try this live on mobile.
I don't know if the quality is good or even if the sound quality is good, but it is without any preparation. Just to say that I am alive and here.

As I have to be here inside the car for a couple of more 27 minutes.
I'm going to pick up my daughter and then resume back home.
So the China trip was really cool. I did enjoy it a lot.
I am really happy for the invitation that X bank made to be able to be there with them.
Unfortunately, it was not there was not the possibility to make those questions that we were preparing.
And unfortunately, I am not still able to get someone from X Bank to answer to these questions.
Um reality is that the trip itself was good. It was good to meet some other people. A lot of people that have YouTube channels or write to magazines or have LinkedIn I I I didn't even knew that writing articles on LinkedIn for instance was somehow um a way to to have a profession. And there is a lot of people dedicated just to write and make consultancy using LinkedIn platform. So, I met a lot of people people that were not aware of X Banks some others that were.
Uh but the main the main answer and the main feedback was that most of people were really happy what with what X Bank was providing us in terms of quality, in terms of what is offering.
And of course we we had over there the G it's not present in Europe and I from what I understood it will not be unless something strange happens. I I I cannot understand why, okay? So, it it is not clear if it is an homologation or if it is just a commercial decision for why the G7 it's not coming.
But the reality it's it's that it's one of their oldest cars and they are not preparing it for the European market. Um so, I don't know if this is a problem or just a decision and that car was built more for the for the Chinese market. I really they know. But anyway, guys, um So, as I I was saying, cool to to be there, to meet a lot of people, to meet the people from Xpeng, and mainly from Xpeng Europe, that's I heard about um our friends from the Dis- cord channel do have a lot of interaction with Xpeng Europe, but I don't I I I don't have any connections and any contacts with Xpeng Europe, the management of Xpeng in Europe. But, I was able to meet some of those uh persons in the marketing department, on the product department.
Um so, to to to to have a face uh to face conversation with them, and open this channel for dialogue that I still didn't use, again, because of lack of time, but um I may it it may be uh useful in the future for communicating also with you guys, and giving you more details about what Xpeng um is um making in the backstage um uh for us owners.
Um I have been talking with a couple of people uh inside Xpeng, but the reality is that they did close a lot the communication process. I understand um they are uh we cannot expect uh that Xpeng continues to uh act and work as a um a startup company, uh very open to discuss everything, and and then we end up criticizing because they talk uh a little bit what they are feeling, and then at the end uh things don't uh realize as they were planning, at least, because companies like Xpeng or any automotive company, they do have a lot of processes until uh the end result is achieved.
And if uh Audi or BMW starts talking about all those processes to the public, at the end many people will be unhappy with some of the decisions because they created expectations that they were not met at the end. So, I under- stand that Xpeng learned about the mistakes in the past.
With a bad bad communication with many many the chips and the hardware configurations, many mis- understandings, okay? So, it's not bad communication. It's sometimes they were communicating wrongly or better, we were getting feedback from the Chinese colleagues, but at the end um that was mainly for the Chinese market and not for the European market. And this was creating a miscommunication and different expectations that were not good for anyone, not only for the owners, but also for Xpeng as a company.
So, as I was saying, I understand the fact that they are closing a little bit of of that channel and trying to create an official channel to communicate to owners as most of the automotive manufacturer on the public. Um and I believe that Xpeng should also not do that.
So, I understand that. So, I am trying to establish a better communication channel with Xpeng in Europe while I continue to work with the Xpeng contacts in China so that I can try to bring you some news, some um, some things that they are planning for the future and also of course for our current cars because me as an owner I am not just >> Turn left.
>> uh, a a person that's communicates for the future of X bank because I am not related to X bank in any way. Um, I am just the owner that's I purchased my car fully with my own money and um, then I do expect to get more for my car uh, as any owner uh, will expect. But my life was uh, and I graduated on computer science so I know what it is to create a product like this. Well, not in in terms of automotive but in terms of software. And I I understand that there are limitations and I understand that sometimes we cannot give everything that we developed after to the existing hardware. And if we think uh, clearly and we understand how software and hardware works, we uh, would also be understanding that uh, sometimes we cannot expect to have uh, everything that it's going to be deployed and developed after we have our hardware with us.
So I have that in mind.
But of course I will do uh, all that I can to bring more things to to to me, to our cars um, and to your cars also um, as also bring some news to new owners, potential owners that will come.
I am trying also to find the right contacts for Zeekr because Zeekr just entered in Portuguese market. And I am really eager to try their cars uh, because I always heard about Zeekr as one of the main competitors of of X bank.
And I I really like and I would love to test uh, Zeekr cars.
Uh, so I'm trying to find that and I will also launch soon in the channel an event or a challenge to you guys to help me find a new car for me.
And as I already explained, so my wife is using the X Pang G6 a lot now. So, we are fighting to see who is taking the car in the morning.
And I am usually losing that battle.
Everybody that is married, you know how this ends up every time that we fight with our wives.
Usually they won, they win.
So, I end up at the end to have only my old Toyota Prius, that it's a great car, but it's not efficient and I really prefer to have a better car with me.
So, I will probably be in the market for a new car soon.
I still didn't define what I want because my wife is saying that we should buy a small car that she will take it, but I know how much she loves X Pang G6 and I know that at the end then I will end up with the other car more.
I do prefer to try to find a >> kilometers turn right to stay on the E M5.
>> We'll get another X Pang Pang.
I don't I will on these thing and then I will open up the channel for those two cars that I will probably have in the future. So, I don't know when this will be possible. It will depend also in the type of car and the opportunity that will arise.
But I will give you all the details about that. Okay?

I am just here riding my X 26 in urban roads. Let me tell you that I made already 20 km in 30 minutes with a 14 kW per hour kW hour for 100 km consumption.
A bit high for these type of roads, but I don't know why the GPS is taking me on these ones.
It's It's something new. Usually I go in a different route, but well, you know GPS is GPS and if you decide to choose GPS to handle your routes you have to take whatever it selects for you.
So here in Portugal, 22 degrees right now, almost 7:00 in the evening.
A lot of uh heat, warm days here in Portugal.
Um so everything now it's already configured in my car for cooling.

And now everything is on cooling. I currently have my car Oh, I Now I understand. My wife left this not in auto.
Now it's on auto.
Um and so I have the car configured for 19 degrees auto right now and I don't know the Okay.

So, it's taking a lot of time and uh as I said, without many ideas or new videos.
I'm in the software right now, the new beta. I don't have a lot of stuff to handle here and to create these videos.
But, uh it will come uh with time and I will uh of course um bring some news to you.
I hope uh when also X-Plane allows me to show you what the new uh software uh it's going to bring to us. I am recording already a couple of videos with the beta versions, but uh I am not even releasing them to the uh memberships uh members of the channel.
Uh not only because I am uh with an NDA and I cannot uh provide that, but also because I don't know if this will be um in the future coming to the public. So, I don't want again to create false expectations with a software that may not even come to the public.
In this moment at least because I believe that all the things that we have been handling and testing will come at least in the future to to everyone.
But it may happen that Xpeng decides that it's still not time to bring that. That is also something that I I I can disclose.
That we still don't have it clear because there are some differences in the betas that we are testing according to the model year and model of the car.
So, there are some changes in the software if you we have G6 pre-facelift and for instance a G9 facelift version. So, there are a couple of things that are different.
And we still didn't understood if it will be like that forever and we have to understand this or if this is just a matter of testing purposes or dividing the software in different releases to different people so that they have different approaches and that different feedback from users.
But the reality is that there are people testing some things that I don't have in my car and I do have some things that some other people don't have on their cars. So, this is what it is, but let's see what happens in the public release and in the next one if they will consolidate everything or if in fact we will end up with different software depending on the model and model year.
I tried already to get these from some other people inside X Bank and what they told me was that there are differences because uh even for different model years, there are different suppliers of some uh hardware and these may result and in some difficulties or some things more easy to implement um and that's why it may end up to have different software depending on model of year. I understand that, but at least from what I saw in terms of the software and the release notes that we have been analyzing, I don't see a pattern that I can say, "Oh, this is because that car is newer, so probably my car can handle that." I don't think that it's uh real.
So, I don't know. I don't know what X Bank is planning on these, but let's see. Let's see. Probably when this is going to be public, we will have these much clearer.
