How I Healed My Gut Naturally | Supplements, Detox Juice & Easy Meal PrepAdded:
Hey you guys, welcome back to my channel. Today I'm bringing you along for another realistic gut health and wellness reset day. We're focusing on simple habits that help genuinely helping me feel just a lot better from the inside out without over complicating or spending so much money. I'm going to show you some of my morning supplements I personally take. And we're starting with the sea moss gel. One of my favorites that I've been incorporating into my diet. It's packed with minerals and it helps support overall wellness, digestion, energy levels, and immune support. I've always loved how easy it is to incorporate into your routine.
Sometimes I'll add it to a smoothie, but most mornings I'll just take it straight up. Now, if you're a texture person like me, I definitely suggest adding this to a smoothie or like just a smoothie bowl.
But it has so many benefits. Next are my probiotics and prebiotic supplements.
Gut health starts internally and probiotics help support healthy gut bacteria while prebiotics help feed that good bacteria. So, this is very good to take and add into your diet. This is what I love. You don't have to use gummies. You can find a different supplement. Then I take the Mary roots liquid multivitamin. I personally love the liquid vitamins because they are easy to take in the morning and this one helps me stay consistent with getting essential nutrients in throughout the day. So then I take my ginger wellness shot. Ginger has honestly become one of my favorite ingredients for wellness because it supports digestion, inflammation, and immune health. And if you know me, you know ginger is definitely a staple in my juices, too. I love anything that helps me feel refreshed and energized naturally while supporting my gut health. These are a few additional supplements I personally take based on my needs. Vitamin D3, iron, and magnesium have all been things I've been trying to stay more consistent with. Magnesium is really especially good for at night because it keeps you relaxed and unwind after a long day of work. But sometimes if I don't have um a big schedule, I will take it in the mornings. And of course, I had to take my sour tea. If I'm not drinking the ginger lemon tea in the morning, I really like incorporating this into my diet. I love drinking this on an empty stomach in the mornings or sometimes at night. It's just one of those calming wellness habits that's making me feel good mentally and physically. Sour salt has so many benefits when it comes to uh removing those cancer cells in your body and just different things like that.
Now, it's time to prep one of my favorite detox juices for the week. This juice is super refreshing and packed with ingredients that support digestion and hydration. I'm using pineapple, celery, apples, ginger, and lemon. Now, we all know, if you haven't known, if you don't know already, I've said it in so many of my videos for years.
Pineapple adds natural sweetness while also supporting digestion. It's super good for your gut health. They have minerals, different benefits that pertain to your skin health, your gut health, overall wellness. Check out my other videos to learn more and dive deep into this. Now, celery is super hydrating. That in itself has so many benefits. Each ingredient is filled with water and just very good benefits when it comes to gut health. Now, ginger helps support inflammation and gut health. I want to say, don't forget for those pineapple peels, be sure to save it after you wash the pineapple really well with vinegar. Let it soak and scrub it to get those pesticides off. Save those pineapple peels because you can make a super delicious and savory pineapple detox tea with those pineapple peels. That's something that I love.
That is also a go-to, especially summer time. That sweetness just oh, it's just so good and so beneficial. And also, let's see. Lemon helps brighten everything up and gives that refreshing taste. As well as apples have that good fiber that we all need. It's very good for your body and gut health to just help you, you know, get regular. If you've been eating oily, greasy food, those vit the fiber from the apples can really just break that down and help, you know, release everything. So B apples really just balance everything out perfectly. Now, one thing I've learned in healthy living, it really doesn't have to be complicated, you guys. Sometimes it's just about finding small habits that work for you and stay staying consistent with them. After juicing everything, I store them in glass bottles and I usually keep them refrigerated for up to 3 to 4 days for freshness. And honestly, having them already prepped makes it so much easier for me to actually stay on track throughout the week. If you want to increase the amount of juice, you can add water or coconut water. Um, if you're on a budget, that's just what I highly recommend. These prices are getting super crazy out here nowadays.
So, once you buy a few items, you already spent $75.
So, I do recommend either going to a farmers market, some type of Spanish or Caribbean style market to see what sales and deals they might have on um produce, vegetables, you know, herbs, and different stuff like that that you may be interested in.
Now, let's get into these super easy meal preps. I wanted to make something that was more so affordable, high protein, you know, simple and realistic because I know a lot of people think healthy eating has to be expensive. And to be honest, it has been getting expensive out here. Even no matter how you eat, it's it's just expensive or it's complicated and it really doesn't have to be. And some people um you know, they get discouraged when it comes to meal prepping and trying new things because of how expensive things are or how timeconuming uh things can be. You know, we're all busy out here. We all have lives. We're all trying to live and provide whether that's for ourselves or our family or whatever it is. and we need to ensure that we're still taking care of our health. So, I just highly recommend using ingredients that's very affordable. Today, I'm making ground turkey bowls with brown rice and sauteed green beans. First, I started with the green beans. I seasoned them with the onion butter and lemon pepper seasonings from Fire and Smoked Society. Huge thank you for them for sending over their flavor collection because these seasonings add so much flavor. For the ground turkey, I used their taco seasoning blend and honestly, it turned out so good. One thing about me, my healthy food still has to have flavor. I don't believe in bland healthy eating over here. Okay.
After cooking the turkey, I mixed in the cooked brown rice. rice and season everything to taste. And honestly, these meal preps came together so quickly.
This is proof that you can make balanced meals at home without spending hours in the kitchen. So, it's no excuses.
Y'all, I portion everything into meal prep containers so I can have easy graband go meals throughout the week.
This helps me so much on busy days because when healthy food is already prepared, you're way less likely to grab fast food or, you know, skip meals. And to end the night, I made some light grilled shrimp with a side salad by the pool. Simple, fresh, and still flavorful for the summer. I'm really trying to focus on balance, consistency, and realistic wellness habits instead of perfection. And if you enjoyed today's gut health reset video, super quick and easy, don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe.
