Why are audiences in Korea so quiet?! Culture shock

[00:00:00]Guys, look. Check this out. In Korea, there's a lot of very, very famous area for busking.

[00:00:12]I'm going to go clap for her cuz nobody's clapping.

[00:00:26]>> [music] >> WOO!

[00:00:32]YEAH!

[00:00:35]AWESOME.

[00:00:37]NOBODY'S clapping her.

[00:00:40]Applause, anything.

[00:00:42]I feel bad for performers, you know, in Korea because nobody like that everybody's I'm trying to be too respectful.

[00:00:49]So, like they don't clap.

[00:00:53]They don't, you know, shout or yell or, you know, ah like like in America people go crazy like, "Yeah, great job." Like they're they're they're they're super supportive.

[00:01:02]But, here in Korea yeah. Not so much. So, I was trying to be like, you know, show clap and I'm like, you know, cheer like, "Yeah." But, I was the only one clapping.

[00:01:17]And the only one cheering in that whole crowd even though it wasn't that big. I want to support artists, you know, because I know what it feels like.

[00:01:26]I'm an aspiring artist myself like I want to be an actor.

[00:01:31]And so, I know what it feels like to have to be I'm putting food on the table, paying for like making up making money as an artist can be really tough.

[00:01:48]So, anytime I see artists, singers, dancers I try to support them in any way I can.
