In criminal trials, evidence such as lyrics, social media posts, and photographs can be admitted to prove a defendant's motive and intent, as demonstrated in the Lil Durk case where prosecutors used his interview statements, song lyrics, and a $1 million cash selfie to establish his motive for ordering a hit on Quando Rondo in revenge for King Von's death.

LIVE: Lil Durk is Over..Industry Shaken After Shocking Twist 😳Added:
two years, the prosecutors against Lil Durk just released new evidence, which will result in Durk spending the rest of his life in prison.
They had submitted paperwork for approval to have King Von's passing footage shared with the jury once trial begins as it proves Lil Durk's motive for revenge. [music] I mean the of King Von. And the motion to exclude this evidence was denied.
The judge is going to allow witnesses to testify about and allow the video of King Von at the trial. And this is important because prosecutors wanted to use this evidence to argue [music] that King reason or motive as to why Durk offered this bounty on Quando Rondo. And so [music] with this ruling, the jury will get They're allowing it for two reasons. One being when King Von passed, a lot of the ops were celebrating it.
And they claim this fueled Lil Durk to go out and get revenge so then they would all stop celebrating. How did you feel considering the animosity between you guys up to that point? My real like first action Yeah. Thought?
I'm just happy. You're happy? I was happy. When you [music] heard that considering the back and forth that y'all have had in your own ways, how did you feel?
So I can I have You were happy?
>> Can However, the second reason they're going to show King Von's passing is because the judge to be used against Durk in trial. The lyrics they will use is they be on my page, I slide for Von. I know they're trolling me. Got it back in.
Y'all don't know that's how it's supposed to be, which they will be connecting it to Lil Durk's interview with DJ Akademiks [music] where he brings up the slide for Von comments himself. I say I was kind of happy. No, it's That was serious. That was though. It was fishy.
That you know what I'm saying?
Unfortunately, he did But I was happy as But, I found out Von I dead.
I cooked for the whole day.
While people are This interview will affect Lil Durk [music] a lot more than you know. The prosecutors will use it as leverage to the jury, proving Lil Durk was fully aware of the slide for Von comments, then even made a statement during the interview saying he now doesn't see those comments anymore, >> [music] >> referring the Quando Rondo hit being for the reason why. However, LOL Durk then backed it up with lyrics in a song making it so much worse. They quoted in the evidence file the lyrics, "Don't respond to things with Von. I'm like it, you're tripping. Go get your their dropping locations. I'm getting it done."
Tweeting, "We're sliding." And we're as they are making claims, this confirms Durk entire motive of not responding to King Von comments, grabbing his firearms, and getting the job done.
I don't know what people used to say.
They used to say, but you also mentioned a song that like maybe you saying slide for Von. I think they trolling me. You know, a lot of that song is fire.
Reason I just don't I'm just doing Some of my reason.
I don't know. While many claim lyrics cannot be used against you in court, they actually can.
The judge approved of those two sets of lyrics to be used against Lil Durk in his trial.
It's just extremely rare for it happened. So, when it does, it's a major problem. With the prosecutors proving LOL Durk was aware of the slide for Von comments, then [music] bragging about it in music. All they needed to find was evidence of Durk paying for the hit, and they found it. It was just revealed in court that in 2022, Lil Durk took a selfie with 1 million in cash on his bathroom counter.
To the innocent eye, this is a generic flex photo that rappers usually take.
But in reality, it explains the entire story. Announced prosecutors say Lil Durk placed a $1 million bounty on Quando in 2022.
The discovery also shows that defendant Banks used his trusted lieutenants to recruit hitmen to fly to Southern California on August 18th, 2022 to get Quando Rondo.
It continues, consistent with defendant Banks' promise to reward co-conspirators, defendant Wilson hired hitmen by promising to pay a $1 million reward on behalf of defendant Banks in exchange for flying to LA to commit the crime where the photo of Durk flexing $1 million on his bathroom counter was taken around the same date that the crime occurred, making investigators believe the selfie was used as a way to confirm to the hitman that the money is real and that Lil Durk has it ready by showing his face in the selfie.
However, also in the evidence file, it reads, "Nonetheless, rewarded co-conspirators also got other things featuring in many of the direct participant music videos and rap lyrics in the months following the crime."
With the most notable song being Durk's block as hot track as a reward.
This left creators reacting to Durk's case saying a Savannah rapper and member of his entourage. It happened in Los Angeles and cameras captured the after What happened next put Lil Durk in the worst situation possible. It even made him react from behind bars. Lil Durk shares a powerful message [music] from prison saying he's tired of being a pawn for the culture and now wants to help shift things into a more positive direction.
He said it's been on his heart to guide for the next generation, stressing that kids are watching and need positive things to look up to.
Saying, quote, "It's just been sitting on my heart lately to just save this generation, to save these kids, for these kids, we got that to be their heroes.
Where investigators claim that this is Lil Durk's way of reflecting on his life choices after members and just agreed to snitch on him.
Knowing this will likely set him behind bars for the rest of his life. It was shared inside a court.
Lil Durk is facing allegations from federal prosecutors that he put hits on O'Block members for not retaliating for King Von. Prosecutors plan to introduce testimony from a witness who claimed Durk gave the orders. As in the evidence file, it states, "Defendant Durk Banks feuds with O'Block member Munaduk over Banks' belief that O'Block members were not properly retaliating for Bennett's passing, aka King Von." Quack 100 even reacted, revealing the truth of the F snitches now going against their leader.
Look what happened to him. That man got kids. You talking about look what happened to him. Definitely not happy about it.
>> I wouldn't be happy if you go to jail, Adam, because I know you got daughter.
Break down.
>> There's multiple people who are no longer there for their kids as a result of the Durk allegedly called in.
And still they put that on black and white, sir.
Stop throwing stuff on a black man who's trying to do something right for the community right now.
>> have already put out a lot of information about this. You don't have to put it out. You don't have to put it out. This is a major the platform.
>> You're not the boss of me. We We talk about rap on here. I think it is well within our jurisdiction to talk about the fact Jurisdiction?
What type of police Man alleged to have ordered them This. Free Smurk, Free Smurk.
But also This is police. This is platform. This isn't police.
Let's sit down for a little bit and decide, "Hey, maybe I'm not anybody else."
We don't have no The F snitch ended up being revealed to be Vroy Yummy.
His court file was updated showing that he's no longer in the Bureau of Prisons custody, meaning he has been released from jail and placed in a safe house somewhere in the United States until trial begins so that no F members goes out and deals with Vroy Yummy.
But this is where something strange occurred.
Vroy Yummy was able to get his hands on a cell phone. He texted somebody close to O'Block who then flipped on Vroy Yummy leaking everything.
Vroy Yummy texted him, "Yeah, and I'm trying to plea out on a 32, which is the base for M for hire.
Max is 43, which is life. I get minus two points for plea, minus one point for early plea, minus two points for no background.
So, I'll have 27 points, which is five to seven years. It's better than that that I can't go to trial. Might get an elbow. Don't want them to do me like they did them other boys." When saying he doesn't want to get got like them other boys, he's actually referring to F Jam.
But more on what what happened to him later because once it was leaked that Vroy Yummy was the one snitching in his own father just snitched on him revealing that his son Vroy Yummy played a major role in the passing of King Von.
And Durk knew about it.
Snitching out on his own son because he doesn't want to be a father to a snitch.
higher And and the only thing that like yes, some of these some of these things look suspect. Why did you go there? Why are these people going there? Why did you send this message? But nothing There's no message that they got that says where Durk says, "Y'all said Quando yet?" Nothing says that. I'm lying. miss you missing the point. They got it. They got a witness already cooperating on that.
They had one.
We just they seen what they seen.
There's three One of them is cooperating.
Yeah, that's true. Yeah, yeah, that's cool. That's always been the case. Yeah, yeah, I don't know need too much more than that.
One of them is cooperating.
Then in the paperwork, what you got the conversation they said they had it in and out.
The other Investigators found more clips of Vani's father revealing why Dirk wanted King Von gone.
The police noted at the time of King Von's passing, him and Dirk were facing a court case together that ended in a private settlement.
This means there's a very high chance Lil Dirk made a private deal with the feds after King Von passed and put the the crime on Von.
And Dirk asked Von, "Is it open?"
Von told him it's off the hinges. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Are you talking about the the [music] the Von that King Von?
Listen very carefully.
When the payment was made to Lil Tim the the next day or the same day, Dirk asked Von, "Was it open?"
This is what he asked him, "Was it open?" Those were the exact words, "Was it open?"
Told him it's off the hinges. Are you saying that Von back doored King Von? No, no way. That was crazy.
disrespectful. what I just said. Guess what? You need more than first, right?
I got bankers.
I got bankers that will testify.
They all will make a contract and make a statement to you and let you know that this is the amount of money he had. This is what what he had. This is that and that. You need more than first and foremost. I got a text message from the lawyer that let let you know that who told on Dirk before.
This resulted in a viral tweet reading, "OTF Bonnie's dad leaking that Dirk had Von dealt with is really making me wonder why Dirk is always on IG live when he is connected to somebody passing.
He was on live the minute when Von Lab and FBG Duck all passed away."
Which is a very strange coincidence, making many believe Dirk used to be a
