[00:00:03]We've come here, ladies and gentlemen, to convey the resolutions that have been taken in a three-day meeting which has been held by the officials of the party.

[00:00:20]I forgot to say most importantly we pass our revolutionary greetings to a very progressive former president of South Africa President Jacob Zuma in his abstentia.

[00:00:37]Our statement today's reads as follows.

[00:00:42]The national officials meeting of party con concluded its deliberations on the state of the organization, political developments in South Africa and tasks facing our movement. The meeting was held in Dean from the 1st to the 3rd of June 2026.

[00:01:03]The meeting assessed organizational development, electoral preparedness, national political developments, international affairs, and social economic challenges facing our people.

[00:01:17]The national officials reaffirm the party's commitment to economic liberation, social justice, constitutional democracy, and the restoration of the dignity of all South Africans. The national officials noted with concern the worsening social economic conditions facing millions of South Africans. Unemployment remains unacceptably high. Poverty continues to deepen. The cost of living continues to rise while many South Africa while many communities remain without adequate opportunities and services.

[00:01:58]We recognize the match to match movement and the concerns it raises for our communities particularly regarding immigration. The voices of the people must be heed and we acknowledge the role such initiatives play in bringing these issues to the center of our national discourse. At the same time, we must make it clear that the MK party has neither formally aligned itself with nor endorsed much to march. The national officials reaffirm the constitutional right of citizens to engage in peaceful protest and democratic mass actions. Therefore, we will not restrict the masses of our supporters from protesting or participating in peaceful marches. The party maintains that immigration to South Africa must be done within the parameters of the law. Any illegal immigrant at this point should seek voluntary repatriation.

[00:03:09]The national officials meeting discussed developments relating to the Madanga Commission Commission. The party reaffirmed that commissions and investigative processes must operate independently, transparently and in accordance with constitutional principles. The party calls for the immediate exiting of Senzo Inun as the minister of police because is still the minister of police. The national officials meeting reaffirmed support for the convening of a conference of the left council.

[00:03:49]The party believes progressive organizations of the left labor formations and community movements must engage in dialogues regarding the future of South Africa. The objectives of the council should include economic transformation, industrialization, job creation, land reform, social justice, and taking of state power. The national officials meeting discussed parliamentary processes relating to the accountability and oversight concerning Mr. Raaposa.

[00:04:27]The meeting reaffirmed that no public office bearer is above accountability and that Ramaposa must quickly vacate office. The national officials meeting expressed reservations regarding the appointment of Marashula Ghana as the chairperson of the impeachment committee. We believe that he was elected by the DA because he's a former member of the DA and now a member of Riseani which is the DA with a darker scheme because the DA knows that he will protect the white media project.

[00:05:12]The party supports calls by Islamic Republic of Iran for peace in Gaza and calls for an immediate end of end to violence and the protection of civilians. The party calls on Israel on issue.

[00:05:30]The party calls on Israel to issue an immediate ceasefire. We call for peace in Sudan and peace in in in in the northern Mozambi. The party calls on the union on the African Union peace mission to turn its attention to northern Mozambique.

[00:05:52]The national officials meeting expressed grave concern regarding rising fuel prices and their impact on households, businesses and workers. The officials call called for a comprehensive review of fuel levies and taxation measures that increase the burden on the ordinary masses. The party believes that government must act agently to reduce the impact of rising fuel prices on the cost of living.

[00:06:26]The national officials meeting received reports from all provinces regarding electoral preparedness. The national officials are satisfied with the progress achieved in strengthening election structures, voter mobilization programs, branch campaigns and volunteer recruitment. The party resolved to intensify voter registration campaigns, community mobilization, political education initiative, the election party agent training. The MK party is confident of a decisive victory in the upcoming local government elections and restoring the functionality and dignity of local municipalities for the benefit of our people. The party is preparing for a national policy conference in the upcoming weeks.

[00:07:22]We will explain this one. Uh that is no longer going to be a national conference but a national policy workshop to discuss and consolidate its policy value proposition for the country towards and beyond the 2026 local government elections. All policy documents for the national policy workshop will be cascaded to provinces and lower structures of the party for inputs, debate and affirmation.

[00:07:54]The party will also launch its 2026 local government manifesto soon after the the policy workshop before embarking on a rigorous and intensive electoral mobilization campaign. Condoes party exist to defend and advance the interest of ordinary South Africans from all walks of life and in particular the downthrottened masses of our people who have been historically marginalized by coloniality and race and racism. It is for the better reason that the party has decided to embark on a national program to highlight and expose the rampant and everinccreasing service delivery deficit in our local government. A series of public protest action will be rolled out the country. Amongst the latter, President Zuma will address the masses in the upcoming court case of the MK party versus the IEC on the 18th of June 2026 at the Johannesburg High Court. The secretary general will lead and address a service delivery and anti-corruption service delivery and anti-corruption masses marches I mean in Mimulu in the following areas in Mimulu on the 5th of June 2026 which is tomorrow and ine metro on the 10th of June 2026 respectively but we will roll out other matches, service delivery and anti-corruption matches. We'll roll them out to all other metros in South Africa.

[00:09:45]We'll announce dates once uh we've prepared all the logistics.

[00:09:51]Announcements for other mass mobilization activities in other metros across the country will be made very soon.

[00:09:59]The national officials meeting noted that the party member Mabatum Guundi has been criminally charged in relation to matters currently before the relevant courts.

[00:10:14]Miss Mabato Zundi was suspended on Tuesday pending the outcome of an internal investigation.

[00:10:21]The meeting further clarified that Zuma is an ordinary member of the party and does not hold an elected or appointed national leadership position within the organization. The national officials meeting emphasized that official positions of the party are determined and communicated through authorized party structures and designated officials. The party calls upon members, supporters and the public to distinguish between individual views expressed by members and other of official positions adopted uh by the organization.

[00:11:09]The national officials reaffirmed the party's principled and inflining stance on the party discipline and protocol and on ensuring that all members of Mondo party are bound by the constitution and the code of conduct of the party no matter what position they hold in the organization.

[00:11:34]National officials jointly undertook a regional consultative program across all 44 district municipalities and eight metro politan municipalities in South Africa.

[00:11:51]The regional consultative meetings undertaken over a period of four to five weeks nationally were intended to establish provincial, regional and subreional and word based elections task teams across all provinces in South Africa.

[00:12:10]This demanding and logistically complex project of convening over 50 regional meetings that comprised of delegates from over 100 sub regions and metropolitan zones was successfully executed and helped to entrench and cement the party's election machinery footprint in every corner of South Africa party recognizes the importance of selecting credible, capable and ideologically sound individuals to represent our people within the local government. The organization is going to ensure that local government public representatives who will be contesting on behalf of Mondois party are namely known, trusted and chosen by the communities they wish to represent. have the human compassion and technical capabilities requires required to listen to our people and to deliver services that unlock local government potential. They are above repo reproach and are of good moral and ethical standing in their communities.

[00:13:36]The leadership of Mondo party will be making a public announcement of the candidates who will be representing the party in the eight metropolitan municipalities in South Africa namely municipality mangaong buffalo city of Cape Town Nelson Mandela and city of Janisburg within the next two weeks. A specific date for the announcement of Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidates will be communicated in the next few days.

[00:14:19]The national officials meeting received a report regarding the party's legal and political engagements concerning the independent electoral commission. The meeting reaffirmed the party's commitment to pursuing all constitutional and legal avenues regarding matters it believes affect electoral fairness and democratic participation.

[00:14:44]Mondo party remains committed to defending the democratic rights of its members and supporters through lawful lawful means.

[00:14:57]After careful deliberation and analysis of the enormous task of preparing a demanding elections program across the country, the national officials decided to strengthen the provincial elections task team in task teams in Bumalanga and northwest provinces.

[00:15:20]The party will deploy senior national leaders with very strong political leadership experience to these two provinces who will ensure that the party attains overwhelming positive results across all municipalities nationally. In Pumalanga, we have taken a decision as the party to deploy the following comrades.

[00:15:48]We have taken a decision to deploy the second deputy president comrade as the provincial elections convenor.

[00:16:00]This is an international intervention. So when we say a provincial convenor, we don't say he's no longer the second deputy president.

[00:16:10]So it's a demotion. It's not.

[00:16:14]We have also decided to deploy comrade Lindali as the provincial elections coordinator.

[00:16:24]Comrade Limjali currently is the secretary of the women's league. We have also decided to deploy comrade as the provincial organizer and then all members who were nominated to be in the provincial elections team are going to be additional members all of them.

[00:16:51]There are only three official o I mean positions uh in the provincial structure of Bumalanka.

[00:17:01]In the provincial structure of Northwest, we've decided to deploy Comrade Alea as the provincial elections convenor.

[00:17:14]Comrade Aleuna currently is the national organizer.

[00:17:19]We've also taken a decision to deploy comrade Nom Salamini as the provincial elections coordinator.

[00:17:28]We've also taken a decision to deploy comrade cabella as the provincial organizer and then all other comrades who were nominated to form part of the national elections team are going to be additional members that will work hand in hand and that will receive instructions from this from these comrades who are coming from the national officials.

[00:17:59]In closing, comrades, in conclusion, the secretary general on behalf of the national officials, leadership of the MK's uh party structures and the general membership and supporters of condo party, invites ordinary South Africans to join the party in restoring the dignity and humanity of the people of South Africa and in changing the face of local government in this country after the 4th of November 26. Um, I did hear the the MKP secretary general referring to the national officials um making decisions time and again. I just want to know where the national command then fits in when it comes to the party's decision making. When last did the command meet and um are they part of the decision making in the party number one?

[00:20:08]My second question now is about as there's been turmoil in the MK party there. Um there were reports that uh the deputy president is in working on it rather or is part of the team that is working on I'd just like to get an indication as to um has fixed so far when it comes to the structures there and um particularly because uh there are local elections coming um what has the MKP done to make sure that the structures there are in order ahead of the elections All right.

What qualities um does the party plan to prioritize in selecting these leaders and with the upcoming local government elections? The party hopes to change the face of local government as stated. What is the party's road strategy for municipalities? It plans it believes that it can govern play a key um maker role in. Thank you.

There also been allegations that have been led that there is money cutting close to 48 million that has been siphoned from the party um in don of the four of you that question would be that there's also allegations that the upcoming policy conference I think it will set in July um that there's been 20 million that has been paid towards that policy conference and some of these members view that as waste of money um And also >> okay just a moment right just a moment I've been a journalist also for many years right but >> we don't just say they are allegations >> right because you may be making them up you must state the fact of what happened when how where and pose the question I think it will be unfair to the officials if you just say allegations are that there was a billon run that you siphoned >> and now he must respond to something that has never had something that you don't have fact of. I mean, you must state some recourse of where this question comes from with where and state some kind of evidence. I have this and I'm asking this question. I can't just say to you, you were in Switzerland whenever and you stole a billion rank.

Uh just looking at local government elections uh from the meeting that happened over those past three days were possible coalition partners uh in the table as a topic of conversation. Uh we've seen some political parties now in the buildup uh in the leadup to their election campaign mention there are a few parties they're willing to partner with. We know that uh we also saw the conference on the left happen last week um or the weekend before. that give us some insight into possible coalition partnerships happening come the November polls. Thank you very much.

[00:25:54]>> All right, we'll close that round and SG asked you to respond to that and if you want to delegate officials who can respond to these questions, you can go ahead.

[00:26:09]Thank you very much.

[00:26:13]Regarding the first question about the national high command, I think I must bring this political context and uh thisational perspective because this is an answer that requires a comprehensive response.

[00:26:33]We are a 2-year-old party.

[00:26:37]So our approach is not stagnant.

[00:26:42]We test different political modalities in terms of organizational reforms and uh political interventions, strategic interventions, we had the national high command when the organization was starting but out of a realization that having a structure called the national high command was not preceded by a DAR political assessment in terms of what is required by the party and in terms of the necessary political character required to feel that responsibility.

[00:27:31]The party then take a decision to say maybe it prematurely took a decision of having a national high command because in its conclusion it has not yielded the desired outcomes and it limited its operations to the national officials.

[00:27:55]That is why from time to time the n the national officials convene But that is not the final destination for the party. That is not the final political destination in terms of our internal structural reforms.

[00:28:11]Soon we are going to announce the national executive committee of the MK party before the end of this month and many reforms that we are busy ventilating and making a determination on as the party. For instance, when we started there was the national we had the national officials and the high command.

[00:28:40]There was no working committee. Now the question is who does daytoday work of the organization in the absence of the national working committee.

[00:28:51]So I think South Africans must be patient with us because we are still at a formative stage and therefore it is inevitable that from time to time we will test different modalities and say we think that this one is the best for the livelihood of the organization.

[00:29:16]But uh we're going to make an announcement before the end of this month of June. The president has given us a responsibility of executing a task of maintain of making certain determinations in terms of the new structure that uh we propose to be named as the national executive committee. That is the first uh response.

[00:29:44]Then the second response upon we started our processes here in Johannesburg here in Ken and in other provinces and this was a new exercise for the party an exercise of embarking on consultative forums across the country because we arrived to a determination that at some point we'll have to face a reality that the people should make a determination of who should represent their political aspirations and thereafter we took a decision to hold these consultative forums across the country.

[00:30:33]We made an observation about Mumalanga in particular because Northwest came after Mumalanga that the political dynamics are heated to an to a point where they can compromise the livelihood of the party in Pumalanga.

[00:30:53]And we said comrades there alone and amongst themselves are not able to find solutions and therefore there must be a national intervention.

[00:31:04]That is why we made an intervention of delegating the second deputy president and other comrades who were accompanying him to Bumalanga.

[00:31:16]He went there to make a political assessment to be followed by recommendations to the national officials and he made a presentation during the officials meeting and made recommendations on what must happen to Bumalanga.

[00:31:34]But in reality comrade political dynamics in Bumalanga are not ideologically orientated.

[00:31:45]They are not about how should the party present itself in the public domain ideologically.

[00:31:54]They are about power struggle.

[00:31:57]They about positions that we want this one, we don't want that one, we want that one, we don't want this one.

[00:32:05]And they require a comprehensive intervention.

[00:32:10]You can't intervene in Bumalanga by appointing a certain leadership. When you do that, you would have just scratched the surface.

[00:32:21]You would have not gotten to the deeper problem to the deep-seated problem in that province. So we said we must not rush. We must allow time. We must give the organization time to study d the problems and to establish an amicable response to problems faced in Bumalanka.

[00:32:46]That is why we decided to take a different approach of saying let everyone there become an additional member and allow comrades of national officials to go and take a lead and delegate responsibilities to those additional members because the focus now is the local government elections. So we don't want uh people who have a who have deviated from what from the core business of focusing on the work of campaigns for local government elections and we don't want comrade to go to elections or to campaigns rather with a low morale.

[00:33:33]Hence we have taken a conscious decision to make this deployment but that does not mean that that province is in abundance. This is a strategic political intervention which we think can save the organization at the moment.

[00:33:51]Not in a long run. In the long run, in the long run, we're going to employ other strategies to intervene because elections must never happen or nominations rather must never happen at the expense of peace.

[00:34:08]So we have a huge political responsibility there of of of uniting our comrades so that peace can prevail in the province. We don't want a situation of winners and losers because that situation will produce outcomes which are only desirable for factions but not for the organization.

[00:34:33]So we want to prioritize the best interest of the organization and we believe that the decision we have taken is at the best interest of the organization.

[00:34:47]When we announce our mayoral candidates uh in few days coming, we're going to outline the criteria used to say we've decided on this comrades because of A B C and D.

[00:35:06]But we want to give assurance to South Africans and to members of the MK party that we are not going to use Kat deployment at the expense of quality.

[00:35:22]quality must supersede Kada deployment because we have seen on the other side of the political uh divide in the ANC in particular that the criteria has compromised the quality of service delivery the criteria they use to select people who represent at the council level the organization and we must not fall on the same trap as the MK party quality must take precedence because at the end of the day those mayors are going to be responsible for the lives of our people at a local government level.

[00:36:07]Mayors are chairing finance committees that is a very complex job.

[00:36:14]So if you just take a clown there which doesn't know whether he's coming or going, you are compromising the interest of the people on the ground.

[00:36:25]If you take a mayor who are who who is not going to be able to read minutes to understand minutes of a council meeting, you are gambling with the lives of the people.

[00:36:37]So experience, knowledge, skills are going to take precedent in our criteria because this is not about deploying people who are only loyal to the party, but it's about deploying people who are going to respond to the needs of our people at a local government level. But we're going to dwell that comprehensive. We'll dwell on that comprehensively when we announce uh our mayoral candidates.

[00:37:12]Well, I don't know but uh in my knowledge made guidance there's a difference between rumor mongering and allegations.

[00:37:23]So now I expected here to respond to gossip and I will tell you why I'm saying it's gossip.

[00:37:31]I don't know how the second deputy president come in on issues of finance because he's a nobody on finance issues.

[00:37:42]A completely nobody.

[00:37:45]He does not sign anything like other officials.

[00:37:49]He expects financial reports and make input dar when it's presented in the officials meeting.

[00:37:57]I don't understand how does the I don't know who else is alleged of this gossipy. I don't understand how the how does the national chair for instance if he's part I don't understand how he comes in because he's not a signary he does not sign anything and I don't understand where has the MK party boughten this amount because since I was appointed in March we've never had that amount as the party we've never paid the 20 million for the policy conference.

[00:38:36]It's public knowledge. You can go there to Beachwood where we've booked the venue and we give them leeway to produce evidence so that you can prove what I'm telling you. So it's really disappointing really when journalist rely on gossip because your responsibility is not to rely on Facebook post and tweets when you get such gossip you take it further by testing it if it's true beachwood is just around the corner go to beachwood how much has the MK party or how much have you cacked the MK party for this policy conference. I doubt it's even above 5 million. I doubt.

[00:39:26]So I don't know where this 20 million comes from.

[00:39:31]It's really disappointing really. Uh when you come with that information and say with a very serious uh face there are serious allegations.

[00:39:44]I mean that information is there for public. I mean they can give you if you can go there and call us uh we'll tell them that give give him and show him the amount that we have paid and I don't think it's even above a million the amount that has been paid so far and the amount in total for the total cost I doubt it's above 5 million so it's people who just get bored out after drinking alcohol and make such allegations about the organization.

[00:40:25]There's no such there's no such uh the MK party does not afford to spend that amount for a policy conference. it it doesn't afford and uh there's a there's an allegation also that there are people who are targeted.

[00:40:46]I don't know who are those people. Maybe if you can tell me who is being targeted and for what because what I know is that what is at the top of the agenda is building the MK party to be a strong formidable force of the left to be the to be the alternative voice of the voiceless.

[00:41:12]That is what is at the center of our agenda.

[00:41:16]And in so doing, we are not going to overlook enforcing discipline because we are scared of rumor mongering.

[00:41:28]Principles must prevail in the organization because in the absence of principles and in the absence of enforcing organizational discipline, anarchy will prevail and no one will want to join this party because I was going to understand if people were arguing from a constitutional point of do if people were saying we don't think that what you are doing is correct in terms of your constitution we think you are you are targeting certain individuals what is it that has been done which is not in line with the constitution of the MK party what is it so we are just sitting here listening to gossips uh which are unfounded And then with regards to coalition, the MK party has always been clear that it calls for the unity of progressive forces and we're not worried about the ANC because the ANC does not means its words in advancing a neoliberal agenda.

[00:42:52]That is why it's easy for them to sit with the DA and exchange positions. But when black parties make in Beachwood, they label a progressive gathering of black people.

[00:43:07]It's because that gathering of black people there is ant what they currently stand for.

[00:43:15]because that organization has long been hijacked by crooks and people who pursue a neoliberal agenda and Balula says it openly without any fear and without any sense of shame. How can you ridicule whether you have reservations ideologically and that is something else to be dealt with at a secondary stage. But the fact that black parties decide to convene themselves under the same roof that is a step in the right direction and that is where a battle of ideas must prevail.

[00:43:58]That is where you can go and say MK party we don't think you are standing for the correct ideological outlook or ideological character or ideological stance. We don't think so. We think you are not pro poor based on A B C and D.

[00:44:19]So just goes to the media. He runs away from a gathering of debates and he goes to the media and label a gathering a progressive gathering of black people in this country. If all black parties were progressive, if they were not uh betrayed by the ANC, by now we would have taken the land from white people because we have numbers in parliament to do that.

[00:44:53]But you because you've got this ANC which is being led by a project of white people who hides money under Madras and sofas.

[00:45:06]It's difficult to achieve that goal.

[00:45:11]So the MK party will always work with whoever pledges their support towards the realization of total liberation and towards the real the realization of economic freedom.

[00:45:28]That is our stance and we're unapologetic about that. With the ANC or with no ANC with Balula or with no Balula with Mr. Raaposa or we know Mr. Raaposa we believe that in 2029 the people of this country will be conscious enough to sideline the ANC because they have given them this legal opportunity with 30% now but once again it continues to betray them. They are choosing white people over black people.

[00:46:09]They're working with the DA in parliament. But when black parties are calling them to say let's come and discuss about what can better the people of this country, blacks in general and Africans in particular, they run away.

[00:46:24]They run to the media.

[00:46:28]So we will work with whoever uh is aligned to our ideological aspiration as the MK party. Even though our primary objective is to win with overwhelming majority because that will give us an opportunity because coalition also is dynamic in that it consists of different parties with different political interest and from time to time contradictions can degenerate to a point where service deliver is compromised.

[00:47:08]So our primary objective comrades is to win with majority.

[00:47:17]But if we don't win with majority, we are going to co-govern with progressive parties. We're not going to co-govern with right-wingers.

[00:47:30]We'll never do that. We'll never betray the people of this country.

[00:47:35]We will never co-govern with apartate collaborators.

[00:47:41]We will choose progressive parties.

[00:48:34]>> On the marches and march or on the march and march movement, the party has said it doesn't it hasn't formally um endorsed the movement. However, uh the party did confirm that they had been in talks with the movement earlier on. Um, are you willing to give us insight to the extent of those talks? Um, will we be seeing or does the party have any plans to perhaps join the movement in the near future or vice versa? Could we be seeing members of that movement being um introduced into the party? [00:49:22]My question is around um disciplinary processes in the MKP. We do see um a lot of people being suspended, expelled and a lot of swapping out when it comes to positions. I'd like to understand uh what the MKP's constitution says about um disciplinary processes. How do you actually more about them to conclusions that you have and to make decisions around suspensions and expulsions.

[00:49:52]>> All right. You say many people have been suspended and expelled. I don't remember one person being expelled.

Look, um, on the announcement of the mayoral candidates, I just want to find out with them obviously to be named next week or so, is there not going to be any changing of them if maybe you don't agree with how cuz I'm raising this because obviously in the past there've been changes of of certain positions in the party. So is confident that we're going into November with the same name. Thanks.

[00:50:54]uh changing people from one position to another is not a it's not something that we do because it's in the calendar that on the 4th of uh December we're changing this one in January on the 2nd of January we're changing that one it is triggered by the material conditions which exist at that particular time So a case is dealt with based on its merits and against our constitutional principle.

[00:51:33]We test each each case against the constitution of the MK party and take a decision.

[00:51:41]If we can sit for a very long time with ill discipline in the party and fail to act on it, we're going to have permanent problems because we are scared of this criticism of being labeled as a party which changes people like secret socks.

[00:52:04]People are changed on the basis of facts at our disposal.

[00:52:10]And we must never be ashamed of enforcing discipline because of this unwarranted criticism.

[00:52:22]Must never because if you don't act on ill discipline, the party will suffer the most.

[00:52:31]If I can tell you things which the party has tolerated for a very long time and the consequence thereof you can be shocked.

[00:52:43]It's just that the party chooses always chooses to be cordial.

[00:52:49]We always I mean our president is a gentleman so we just dismiss people and and uh not embarrass them by telling the whole world what they've done.

[00:53:03]But I'm telling you we are a party with enough intellectual capacity.

[00:53:11]So at no stage where the party can just wake up and say go for no apparent reason decisions are informed and are influenced by the material conditions that's what I can say to you and I think the similar response I can give to the issue of a possibility of changing mayoral candidates and so on and so forth.

[00:53:41]Comrades, mayoral candidates are going to be selected based on an informed comprehensive process which has led to the selection of mal candidate.

[00:53:56]The party is applying its mind. That is why we're not going with the wind.

[00:54:01]I mean action SA has been going around looking for uh people who are perceived to be popular in the public domain.

[00:54:12]If we are a gullible party, we can feel under pressure and say hey let's also uh follow the same route that they are following. We are at a party with principles. We know what we're doing and we will never betray the people of this country by compromising the quality of leadership because the quality of leadership is what will be a determining a factor in our criteria.

[00:54:42]So we can't then now anticipate here and be prophets of doom and say no h if they come next week on the following week we will fire them based on what because this thing of changing people is not a ceremony comrades it's based on the reasons at our disposal and it's g is based on a comprehensive ive analysis made at that time which influences that direction. Regarding match to match in our belief everything that match to match does is within the constitutional parameters.

[00:55:28]There's absolutely nothing which they do which is illegal.

[00:55:33]If anything they are dealing with crime which the police have failed dismally to deal with.

[00:55:44]Foreigners, illegal foreigners have taken over some areas or some parts of our towns and cities and they've reduced them to nothing but centers of crime.

[00:56:05]There are areas which have been surrendered by South Africans because of illegal immigrants.

[00:56:13]Because our understanding here is that much too much is not fighting against legal immigrants.

[00:56:19]They are fighting against people who have broken the law.

[00:56:25]If you are called an illegal immigrant, it means you have broken the law because you are here illegally in this country. you are not supposed to be here.

[00:56:36]And the ca the state finds it difficult to trace those people when they've committed crime because what they do they steal cars here and cross the borders with those cars and it's not easy to trace them.

[00:56:53]what they do, they come here and establish drug cartels and criminal syndicates because if you come with good intentions here in the country in South Africa, why do you not register with home affairs?

[00:57:13]What are you hiding?

[00:57:16]It means you coming here is not done in good faith. It's in bad fate. That is why you are breaking the law.

[00:57:28]So we sympathize with the struggle of March and March unapologetically.

[00:57:33]Thank you.

[00:57:34]>> Because we believe that they stand for the correct thing which as the MK party also are standing for were against illegal immigrants unapologetically so and protesting in this country is constitutional.

[00:57:52]I've never heard of march to march organizing illegal protest. I've never he such inc incidents and if they commit crime when they get there that is not our baby it's a baby of the police before you embark on a march there's a meeting which is convened called section 4 between the mar between the protesters and the police that's where protocol is discussed and protocol is a responsibility of the police. If the police fail to contain those people when they protest then that means they are weak.

[00:58:40]It means the police are weak.

[00:58:43]So we can't suffocate much and march for the failure of the police to enforce order during this protest because if they had bad intentions or bad motives of embarking on illegal protest, they were never going to apply for these matches or issue any notice for that matter because you give a notice to the police, a section for meeting is convened and so on and you are good to go. So everything that they do is within the law.

[00:59:19]So that is the position of the MK party.
