[00:00:00]Donald Trump has continued to claim that Iran's missile capabilities have been decimated. The Pentagon said the joint USIsrael campaign had left Iran combat ineffective. But now new US intelligence assessments are telling a very different story.

[00:00:16]Reports suggest that Iran has retained much of its military strength, including a large part of its mil missile infrastructure, its mobile launches, and its underground storage network. The most striking revelation, Iran has reportedly restored operational access to 30 of its 33 missile sites along the Strait of Hormuz. According to the intelligence assessments, only three of Iran's missile facilities in that region remain completely inaccessible. The rest are now partially or fully functional.

[00:00:47]That means Iran may once again be able to deploy mobile missile launchers from these sites or even launch missiles directly from existing infrastructure.

[00:00:56]The reports also indicate that Iran has retained around 70% of its mobile missile launchers and about 70% of its pre-war missile stockpile. That includes both ballistic and cruise missiles which can strike targets on land or at sea. In other words, despite months of air strikes and military pressure, Iran still appears to have significant firepower. Even more concerning for Washington, US intelligence believes Iran has regained access to nearly 90% of its underground missile storage and launch facilities across the country.

[00:01:38]According to these new findings, many of those facilities are now considered partially or fully operational once again. that directly challenges the public messaging coming from the White House.

US military planners reportedly chose to block the entrances of Iran's hardened underground missile facilities rather than destroy the entire complexes. The reason? Limited supplies of bunker busting weapons. Those high-powered munitions were needed elsewhere too, particularly for possible future conflicts involving China or North Korea. So instead of completely destroying some of Iran's most fortified missile sites, the strategy was to temporarily seal them off. Now it appears Iran may have found ways to restore access. But this war may have left more than just Iran damaged. It may have also exposed a growing strain of America's own military readiness.

[00:02:58]According to reports, the United States used more than 1,000 Tomahawk cruise missiles during the campaign. It also fired over 1,300 Patriot Interceptor missiles, crucial for air defense, and it deployed around 1,100 long range stealth cruise missiles. Together, that represents one of the largest recent expenditures of high-end US munitions in a single conflict. The problem, these are not weapons that can be replaced quickly. For now, the White House is rejecting the new assessments. Officials continue to insist that Iran's military has been crushed. But these assessments raise serious questions about whether this war achieved a core objective and has Iran truly been weakened.
