This video demonstrates the complete process of swapping a frame on a classic Dodge C60 truck, including removing the cab from the original frame, fabricating custom cab mounts using channel steel, installing a new frame, and mounting the cab with proper alignment and measurement techniques. The process involves cutting inner fenders for four-wheel drive, installing a kill mat for noise reduction, and addressing various mechanical components like the alternator, battery system, and steering column.

We named the New build ! Field Find got its new FrameAdded:
Good morning, guys. We are heading to Park Bluff. We are taking Cowboy front drive shaft over to Papa Bluff so that we can get it lengthened because we need what? 5 in five more inches on it. So, we're going to do that. We got a few more errands to run in the bluff. I think Dave wants to get his bottle filled up, the nitrous bottle filled up while we're over here. Uh we need to run to the UPS store. So, we got a couple errands to do.
All right, guys. We ran our errands over here in Park Bluff. We got our nitrous bottle filled up. Um, we are headed back to Donovan. Uh, the drive shaft probably ain't going to be done today. Depends.
He said he don't know if he has the tubing for the add-on part. So, hopefully he does. If not, he get it figured out. Also, our joint was what is that joint?
Oh, our joint was real. There was a lot of slack in it. So, he's going to replace that for us, too, while he's got it. Just make it better than it was. All right, guys. It is about 11:30 and we just got back to the shop. Uh, the plans are >> We don't know yet.
>> Yeah, we don't know where we're going from here.
>> Guy over at Barker's um is it towing?
>> Yeah, towing.
>> Barker towing and speed shop. He's being super helpful. He got me one a fitting I'm missing to fill the bottle. Luckily, he had it. But we did get the bottle filled. Not that it does me any good, but we got it filled. Um, we're probably going to pull the C60 in and try to get the cab off today. It's almost noon, so we ain't got a whole lot of time until we got to go get the boys, but um I think we're going to try at least get that done today. So, >> flashlight on this one is there is no motor in this one already. So, >> maybe she won't pour gas all over the ground and I'll light it on fire.
>> No fires today. That's my goal. But anyway, we're going to get that thing pulled up here. All right, guys. This is the C60 we're going to use. It's the blue one. We picked this up in Corning, Arkansas. Um, I'm actually really happy with it. The patina is okay on it. It's not a lot of patina, but there's a little.
So, we're going to get this thing pulled up and pushed in the shop.
At least this one rolls smoothly.
Heat. Heat.
Heat. Heat.
Right.
That now Davey got behind me on the forklift and is going to push me because we have to make a big turn right here so I can go in the shop frontways.
Ouch.
Oh, look at him with his button opening the shop door.
I can get it in the door.
Heat.
Heat.
Well guys, we are in the shop with it.
Uh, we're going to get body mounts and all that took out real quick before we push it up where the lift can pick it up.
All brakes chopped off.
Not a bad tree. All right, guys. My body mounts are right there.
My holes to get to those are right here.
this kind of in my way. So, I'm going to try to get that been out of my way right here. But this one I can get to. This one here I can get to. So, I'm going to go ahead and get that one pulled out.
You might be able to get there.
She's out.
Now, the front, I guess you'd say the middle ones are super easy, but most likely going to have to have one of us holding the top part cuz it's a bolt that comes down to this nut. So, going to move up and try to get the front ones off first. So Debbie can help me with these.
>> Thank you.
Check out that centerpiece down there.
>> Check out that center piece down there.
That's different.
right there. Take that off.
What you appar still wants. Go.
>> You wouldn't know how.
That's the only one for you. Get this one.
Is that cool? Not really.
Yeah.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
All right. So, we got all the body mounts off, everything off the firewall, anything that was attached to the bottom of the cab off. We're going to get the seat out so we can get the tank out so we can get the line that goes down from the tank into the floorboard. We got to get that out as well.
All right, guys. Okay, we got the seat and gas tank out. Now, that rod running right there, we got to get that cut so that we can pull it through the floor.
This one is not going to be wide.
Thank you.
Feeling good. Mhm.
Heat. Heat.
And now we're going to get this frame and stuff moved back outside and get it out of the way. clean up our mess from the floor over here. And then we're going to have to spin the 12 valve frame all the way around so we can go up under the cap.
Guys, we are going to be cutting the inner fenders out. Uh, this is going to be a four-wheel drive, so we actually have to go more than we usually go for the two wheel drive. So, this is going to cut probably along this seam up here, maybe a little more on both sides.
I just want to point out how good a shape this cab's in. I mean cab corners are no no even soft spot. Rockers same way again here. No soft spots. That's just dirt there. There's no soft spot there.
Rockers all look good.
Solid.
I mean even this lip back here. Usually if the cab corners ain't you'll find a little bit of rust in this lip. There ain't any rust in this lip here. Just dirt.
Cab supports are all in really good shape. No rust holes.
Very solid.
Heat. Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
A lot of noise.
Heat. Heat.
All right, guys. The reason I was taking the pre-wheel and hitting the firewall because on this truck, just like we did on Cowboy, I think we're going to start doing the kill mat every time on the firewall just because it does really help with the sound on the inside of the truck. I we done it on our very first one. I didn't think it helped as much, but with cowboy, I feel like the heat it helped a lot with the heat coming in the cab. So, we're going to start doing that on all these trucks. We're going to do the kill mat. But first, before I put it on, we are going to do our brake booster and all that on the firewall first because All right, guys. Now, we got to get that frame completely spun around so the engine is facing the back of the shop because that's how we had to take the cab off because of how long that factory frame was on the C60. So, we're going to get the thing turned around and get it split under the cab.
What are you doing?
Heat.
Heat.
Hang on. It is Tuesday evening and we got to go pick up two of our grandsons.
So, we're going to do that now. But we did get the cab lowered down onto its new frame. We got a bunch of measuring we need to get done so that we make sure the cab is square and set to where it needs to sit. So, we got to do that still. But for now, we're going to go get them and then once they leave, we may be mowing the yard. Depends on if it's raining or not. So, anyway, we'll see y'all tomorrow morning.
Good morning, guys. It is Wednesday morning and we are back on the C60. Um, we're going to try to get our mounts made today. We did come out last night after we said we weren't going to come back out here. We come back out here and started getting the front two mounts done. Uh, they are tacked there, ready to go. But we're going to build the back mount and the very front mount and get them tacked on. And then we'll pull the body back off and weld them all up real good and get them looking good.
So that's our goal today is to get this thing where it's mounted fully mounted onto the frame. So anything else All right, guys. So, this is how we're going to be doing our back mount. I took a I think it's a 5 in piece of channel, plazed out these holes in it so that these mounts, these are the factory Dodge mounts, so those will fit down in it.
Now, we're going to bolt them up to the cab and then we'll build us pieces that run down from this down to the frame and get those welded on.
That's all.
All right, Davey's Going to get these tacked up real quick.
Guys, so last night, like I told y'all, we went ahead and tacked up the front mount. Yep, they're not pretty yet. When we pull the cab off, we will go ahead and add metal, make them look better than they are now. That's just to know where our mount's going to go. It is tacked there on both sides. All right, guys. So, now that we got the back mount ready, we're going to go ahead and get this very front mount done. And then we are ready to pull the cab back off and get them all welded up good.
>> Steal mine cuz that's what you do.
>> Yeah.
No. Are you >> sure? No. He's going to All right, guys. We got our front mount figured out. Davey's going to go drill our holes through. I'm going to get us some rubber. That way, we don't have metal on metal.
I don't feel like it's bright out here.
All right, we're ready.
>> Woo!
All right, guys. This is what our front mount looks like right now. Like I said, Davey is fixing to get all these welded up real good.
He did move over to the dark side, guys.
>> Sorry.
>> No more just gasless flux cord. He is now using gas.
>> Sorry.
Heat. Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
All right, guys. So, before we put the cab back down for the final time, our gear box is out for delivery. So, we want to get that new gearbox put on before we lower the cab down for the last time, just cuz it's going to be easier to change it. full access right here. So, that's the plan there. Um, the mounts are on. I'm gonna go ahead and show them to y'all. Uh, we're going to paint the frame as well before we put it back down for the last time. But, I'm going to show y'all these mounts. All right. This is our front mount here. Did like we do on all the C60. Run from frame to frame. And then that's the piece right there with them two bolts in that attach to that piece. Here is our front cab mount. We end up using some of the factory mount just because it's easier because it already has the holes for the mounts in them box in the back of it.
Now our rear mount, we just come up off the frame, run straight across because of where these mounts are.
They're close and they're on the inside together. So, we do that pla hole, put our mount down in it, and then those go up under and mount to the body.
I'm going to get and take nut off.
Take my pitman arm puller.
Stick it up in there.
Maybe question you.
So close.
Give me a hammer and a screwdriver I can beat on.
I can't get the pitman arm puller teeth in between there because it's so close to the box.
Try and move it down a little bit.
I just knocked it off.
Oh, that wasn't very impressive.
Yeah.
Didn't even need it.
There you go. You have it.
>> I won't.
>> All right, guys. While Dave was getting that pulled off, I pulled off our stock alternator. We just got a package in from PA. Just showed up on the UPS truck. It is our one wire alternator.
Huge shout out to PA. They are a sponsor of ours. Y'all go check them out. They have starters. They have everything.
Everything like that.
>> This alternator is one wire, right?
Yes, it works great for your custom projects, but no, it doesn't have to be a custom project. Your Dodge alternator is acting goofy.
You know how they got all that electronic nonsense? Grab this one wire.
Go ahead and use your You can use your power wire from your terminal that charges your battery. Go ahead and use that and you can go ahead. It'll still read off your gauge, also your voltage, but then you got just run your, you know, you have to run no extra wires to the alternator. Just that one wire, you know, it has the two deals on it on the battery alternator. What alternator?
>> Uh oh, here you go.
>> As you know, this wire has this on it, these two terminals, and then your main power wire.
Unhook this. We go ahead and run this power wire back over to your battery.
And it'll also show up on your gauge in your truck. This is if you've running, you know, uh 94 to 02 3/4 ton, 94 to 01 half ton. Anyways, one wire. You don't need none of this nonsense.
But anyways, um, like I was saying, one, these are not just for custom builds.
These are also for your daily drivers, 94 to 02 in the upper trucks.
Anyways, uh, they're a great company.
You can also, if you want to run a tack, you can also get them with a tack wire.
So, they'll go ahead and build in the tack wire for you. And you literally just hook that up to your tack pan. It's that easy. Here you go.
I said I already took off our factory one. Now I'm going to get this one mounted here.
I don't know. All right, we also got our pulley. Since we eliminate because we moved the motor back, we have to eliminate the ACN compressor off the other block because right here is a cutout for it. Back here there is not.
So, we also got that pulley. It's a groove pulley. This the factory one is a smooth pulley if you have AC on your truck. Uh so, we had to get the groove one. So, and we had to get the smaller belt.
Our PA performance one wire alternator is installed. uh when we get where our batteries are going and all that put down, that's when Davey can wire this up. Like I said, this runs directly to the battery.
All right, guys. Davey got our battery boxes built. This is what it is. It's going to hold two batteries in it. Now, he's going to put it on the frame. We do like running these under the truck, under the driver's side step, just cuz it looks cleaner under the hood.
>> Holy moly.
>> Hold the level.
Not where I'm going to weld.
It's hot. Gosh, is it hot?
>> Don't worry, I touched it for you.
Ow.
Now, to remove this pulley off of this tensioner piece, you need a star bit.
I'm going to go up there. This one is not the right size, so I'm going to get the right size.
All right, the new tensioner pulley is on the red one. So now we can put our smaller belt on.
I know.
Heat up here.
Guys, so we ran over to my cousin's house, Ronnie Con, and he works at TAG over in Popular Bluff. They sponsored this build with two brand new batteries.
And let me tell you, their batteries, they have some crazy co- cranking amps.
>> 1100 co- cranking amps. Yes, you can run these on the truck. And the price beats all $83 out the door.
So, a piece. So, tag is not just here. They have a lot of stores and down toward Texas and Mexico, you guys. They're called Lonear >> Trucking Group.
>> Trucking Group. Um, owned by TAG. So, go check them guys out.
The price for these batteries is you can't beat it. No.
>> But uh and for what they are, these are some really good batteries.
>> They have 40. Tag Tag and Lonear are the same truck center. The just two different name, but they're in 42. They have 42 stores total in between Missouri, Texas, Arkansas, Memphis, uh New Mexico. like they're all over the place.
>> Yeah. And like I said, they're either TAG or Lonear.
Go check them out because they're going to save you some money.
And like we were saying, also, they also have stacks. If you want to run stacks on your truck, all different sizes. Um, they can order them.
>> They have a lot of different stuff.
It's, like I said, it's not really just for semi. It's also for any diesels really. I mean, they've got everything.
Even if you want to do it on gas burners, there's also that available. I mean, three/4er tons come in gasol diesel. So do one ton. So go check them out because that's a good price on a battery, y'all.
I don't know if y'all been pricing batteries or not, but >> batteries.
>> That's a crazy price to be under $100 on batteries.
>> Yeah. So, thank you, Tag.
>> Yeah. Huge batteries.
>> Batteries. Anyways, I think we're going to get the cables hooked up and get this thing set back down for the night. We also got our drive shaft back for cowboy. The front drive shaft back for cowboy.
>> Look at that.
>> Brand spanking new. And if y'all didn't know, you do now.
>> Yep.
>> That's the place to go for you localish guys.
He's good. He'll treat you right. If you need a dry shaft built or cut down or lengthened, they can do it. Um, Missouri gears and transmission in popular bluff, Missouri.
We have a lot of people ask us where we get our drive shaft made. That's the place because I mean we have a friend over where's he at? Over by Bowling Green, Kentucky. And he can't find anyone to build him a drive shaft, cut his down, lengthen it, whatever he needs. So, these guys are your guys for that stuff. Go check them out.
>> Yeah. Also, they're not just a drive shaft company. Gears, they do rear ends, stuff like that. Mainly semiis. Um, they have a lot of parts, also semi parts.
So, like I said, if you're looking for something hard to find for maybe your semi, give them a call. Um, they might have it. They have a lot a lot a lot of stuff out back like scrap stuff, junk stuff that might have a good part on it.
Anyways, we're going to get to work.
All right, guys. These are the batteries right here. Brand spanking new.
I mean, look at that.
$83. That's just crazy.
>> Also running on cowboy.
>> Yes, we also are running these on cowboy as well. We had two people tell us this is the fastest one they've had. Crank and start. Uh we are running that same battery there. So they're they're good batteries for the price.
All right, guys. It is Wednesday evening about 7:30, 8 o'clock. It's almost 8 o'clock now, but anyway, we have got the cab mounted. It is bolted down and mounted to its new frame. That is done.
Now, let me tell you about what she didn't want to tell you about in the recording. So, I welded on the battery box, set the cab down, and it hit the top of the batteries.
So, for the last hour, I've cut that off. Moved it down about 4 in.
Well, as bad as I knew better. Just wasn't thinking. I was worried about it going out this way. Anyway, we're at the bottom of the frame now. Everything clears. It's down. We hope for the last time. Now, we can start putting in the radiator that which this will be tomorrow possibly, but you know, clutch pedals, all that good stuff. But um >> still got a long way to go.
>> Yep. And uh our plans with this truck is to clear coat it. We're not even going to paint the inside uh because it isn't horrible. We like the patina look. And uh this is probably going to be somebody's good old farm truck anyways.
Anyways, um I think we've come up with a name.
Have we? Do you agree?
>> I like it when it's hard. Anyways, you know how everybody's finding barn finds.
Um, that's not its name, but I do like field finds.
So, uh, it was a field find.
Not for us, but the guy for us. Anyways, um, it's it's super solid, man. It's you don't you don't find them very often that's set out in the field. That's that's solid. The barn fine ones are the ones we like because, you know, they've been covered up. This thing's super solid. I think we're going to call it the field fine without the duh. I like Mater without the tough mater.
>> We are going to We got to park the cab out back. Um we got to pull the passenger glass out of it and put in this one cuz this one's crack free back.
The mirrors on this thing are in really good shape. So, we're not even going to replace them.
>> Cab lights. We got brand new cab lights.
>> Uh the windshield. We will be replacing the windshield in this one also because it is cracked and it is harder for other people. I guess we should feel blessed that we have a local guy that does all old stuff. Uh all classic. So we are very blessed to have him >> and his son which is what probably >> I think you say like 38 or 39.
>> Yeah somewhere around 38ish my age you know. Um >> kidding.
Anyways, uh he does it also. So, you know, maybe we've got a thing going for a while at least. But, uh David's I'd say David's a little older than me.
Not a lot. He's still got some years left in him. So, I don't think he's going to quit us anytime soon.
>> No, but like I said, we're very blessed to have him because some people tell me they can't get these replaced, these windshields. So, and they're hard to put in. We've helped put one in and they're hard. Yeah, we helped our glass guy put one in because the truck was this tall and he couldn't hardly get to it. So, we had benches all around it so we could stand up and help him hold it in there and stuff and be pretty violent with those things.
>> Yeah, way. You hit them way harder than you would expect. I was like, whoa. But anyway, enough of that. She's on there.
We're good to go. Uh, war machine did leave today, so it is gone. Yes, y'all are going to wonder why it left on stock rim and not the alco. The buyer did not want our alos. So, we put them back on stock rim for him and shipped it to him.
He's going to do his own rims. He has his own ideal. So, anyway, >> let me tell you, them boys that loaded that truck on that trailer. It's a wedge trailer, so it goes straight up. I don't know what gear they had it in, but they smoked that clutch. We hate to see that.
But um brand new clutch, but we told the guy, but without us videoing it, which we didn't, >> there's no proof. So, >> I mean, we probably can see it on one of our cameras. We can pull it up, but we haven't done that yet.
>> Dude, it looked like the tires smoking on the I mean, he didn't care either. He just smoked the fire out of it. Anyways, we've had an interesting day.
>> Yeah. Um yeah, >> lot a lot of hurrying up and waiting.
But um again, thank you Tag and our cousin Ronnie for hooking us up with batteries.
>> And then thank you Missouri Transmission Gear for our front drive shaft for cowboy because that complete cowboy 100%.
>> No, I got to put the 4x4 cable.
>> Oh yeah.
>> So if we got rid of all the vacuum and everything, now I've got to run a cable up for the actuator. But I've got to hook that up also.
Hopefully we get a take it to a show or something soon. And I've already got several people interested in Cowboy. Uh, one guy is I think he's 100% serious and I mean he's talked to me the most about it, I guess. But anyway, guys, we're going to call it a night and we will see y'all tomorrow morning.
>> This guy thinks they're cool.
>> That's definitely it. Good morning, guys. It is Thursday morning and >> this is why you shouldn't watch somebody weld all day >> without a helmet on.
>> I think that and then the plaid together. Yeah, it was a miserable night last night for me. My eyelids feel like sandpaper. So anyway, they're a little bit better this morning, but bright lights are hurting my eyes, so I'm stuck with sunglasses. But anyway, today we plan on getting >> radiator in.
>> Yes.
>> Hopefully the clutch pedal, steering column. But you know how that goes.
We're going to get what we can get done.
We going to get started.
All right, guys. Davey's getting it marked because we do have to cut more of the inner fender out on both sides to get the radiator to go down where we need it.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
All right, guys. Our radiator is mounted.
We used the top mount, the factory top mount. We just drilled a hole in the crossmember up here and then ran this through and bolted it to on the top.
Y'all seen what Davey was doing down here with the mounts. He got those on and welded there.
So now it won't move. It's sturdy.
>> All right. If you're wanting to run the Dodge pedals, there's a I guess you call it a um it's a bracket that used to hold the old pedals in place. And it is actually in the way. You got to cut it out.
And uh when I get it out, I'll put the pedals up here and I will kind of mark off. This is double layered. We got to cut this second layer down. That way the bolts on the back of the um brake booster will be long enough to get the nut on them.
This is the worst part about it right here. Cutting all this stuff.
Okay, once you get all that cut out, that extra layer, the firewall's still there, but but it had a like bracing layer for the pedals. These kind of brace theirel against this and the brake booster. And so I don't get in the way of where I put the column up, I cut off about 2 in of this.
And looks about like it's going to be my spot.
I'm back. Get that top hole.
Almost.
Where'd you go? There.
Right there. I can't line that one up.
All right, guys. So, the old Facebook marketplace strikes again. Um, found a truck on there the other day. messaged the guy, told me how me I had two people in front of me, messaged me. So that would have been Monday and Tuesday.
Wednesday messaged me and said that there were no shows that I'm next in line. So we sent our son after it last night and he just got home with it. I didn't realize it went hood stag, baby.
That's why Cam wants it.
You hear me? That's why Cam wants it.
All right, guys. So, we were checking that truck out. Um, it has, I think, 182 original miles on that thing. Uh, the motor was all resealed. He said, 2 years ago, gone through and all that. So, that is probably the cleanest motor we've got in these 12 valves.
>> But the frame is shot. But we have a good frame in the back. So, probably just do a heart transplant. And we're going to drive it till we're ready. Obviously, it's drivable, but I don't know how much I'd trust that frame.
>> Probably ain't going to pull no white home on it or anything.
>> Oh, heck no.
>> Anyway, I got to play as a hole.
There you go.
All right, guys. So, now Davey's got to plas the hole for the clutch to go through.
The pedal assembly has the hole, but the firewall doesn't.
Huh?
>> Did it come with the >> That's in the bag, I think.
>> Old square body four-door Duramax swap.
It's a good looking truck.
All right, guys. So Davey's getting the searing column ready.
All right, he's going to get his bearing, get it welded on there. He is going to have to do a little bit cleaning up on this shaft to get the bearing to fit over it.
sleeping.
My w All right, guys. Davey got this thing ground down so that this bearing will fit over it. Now, the bearing will go over it like that.
Still pretty warm.
Get it even right there. He will tack this and tack this up here so that bearing will not go up and down and that way our steering column can spin on it.
I get a couple more.
Heat. Heat.
Come on.
Get out.
things up.
All right, guys. So, what we're going to do now is we're going to get the grill pulled off because we are going to run the intercooler behind the grill like we do on all of our C60s. But we liked how we did controversies piping on the intercooler pipe coming up right here and over. It just looks better when you close the hood's closed. You don't see it going off to the side. So, that's the way we're going to do this one, too.
All right, guys. We ended up getting the intercooler. It's mounted, but it we had to order some more elbows, so they won't be in probably for a few days, if not next week. Um, Davey got the turbo turned around because we are coming straight off of it. Straight down right here. Davey figured out our intercooler pipe for the passenger side. It goes up from the intercooler straight up here straight to the turbo. The other one, like I said, we are waiting on elbows.
If we had elbows, we need two elbows and we'd be putting it together probably.
always waiting on fire.
>> I mean, this thing is this close to being ready to be fired up. Dave's got a little bit of wiring to to get it to fire up, but it's close.
But to me, that looks this looks cleaner cuz once the hood's down, you don't see any of this. It looks cleaner than coming over here going around into this and and we're not having to cut a big old chunk out of the core support up here. All right, guys. It is Thursday evening about 5:00 and we got to a stopping point. Yeah, we got a lot accomplished today, though, huh? We got the steering column put in, the pedals, everything's hooked up. Uh, brake booster, throttle, all that's hooked up.
We did put the master cylinder in for the clutch, but we ordered another one from Napa because we think that one was defective.
>> Yeah, it won't work.
>> Yeah, >> push it in. Nothing happens underneath.
Um, we've also got to bleed the brakes, put the bumper on. We got to straighten the bumper out.
>> Yeah, it's a little rough.
>> Um, waiting on 90° elbows for the intercooler pipe. I wanted to order some about three four weeks ago and somebody not going to say any names or pointing fingers Megan but um she said don't we got a whole box of them and I said I don't think so she says I know what I'm talking about and I said okay bowl >> we did have a whole brand new box but we'd already filled all the elbows out of that one so >> anyway >> we get like four elbows >> now we're probably a week waiting on elbows >> and lush >> doesn't stop us from got lush tag has them.
>> We are going to try and see if they >> um does not stop us from finishing up stuff. We can put the bumper on, bleed the brakes. We still move it around. Um >> we are having a bed made.
>> We got the new Yeah, we are having Larkin customuilt beds build us another bed. But uh Napa will have in our new clutch master cylinder safe cylinder setup.
Hopefully it works. Good thing about Napa is they'll cover their parts if they're bad. This eBay thing don't work. They don't want to take it back cuz it was I ordered it a month ago.
Anyways, uh there's still a lot to do.
Like I said, just because we're at the pause here does not mean we're quitting because we want to clear coat this truck. As soon as I get it wired up, we'll pull it over there, clear it, clean it, clear it. Um, put the interior in it and all that stuff. So, >> there >> gauges and all that.
>> I was thinking we'd have this truck done within a week, a week and a half, just to see if we can do it. You know, that ain't going to happen now.
That was not my plan. I don't like to do that.
>> I didn't say anything about it. I was just hoping we did. Anyway, um like I said, tomorrow probably going to focus on wiring.
Probably get her to while I'm messing with that, she'll get the bumper off the other frame. We need the tail light wires off the other frame so I can put them on this frame. She can do that. a lot to do >> you know stuff um >> most Fridays are not very productive because of company a lot of people's off work so >> and it is a holiday weekend this weekend so some people are going to be off even Monday so but that's okay >> maybe even us >> maybe >> probably not but yeah I'm I'm happy with what we got done today because we got farther than I thought we would.
>> Burning her eyes yesterday has made her extremely >> They still hurt. The light, this light in here really hurts my eyes.
>> She didn't see that.
>> Nothing.
>> They're not as red as they were. I woke up at midnight last night and my whole eye was red. The only time I ever wear sunglasses when I'm on my Harley or if I get a black eye.
>> So, you think I got a black eye?
>> No, I don't. Even if I burn my eyes.
Well, and I don't wear sunglasses. I just squint a lot. But, uh, I do want to get a black eye cuz it's a little embarrassing.
>> All I know is I never want to do that again.
Ever. My eyes feel hurt. Even the sun walking out this morning. I was like, I'll let the dogs out. No biggie. Open the door. I was like, whoa. Close that thing back.
>> Anyways, I think we're both burn out for the day. So, we're going to call it a day.
>> Yep. And we'll see y'all tomorrow morning.
>> Good morning, guys. It is Friday morning, and >> I've been working. She's been not working.
>> She made me stop so she could start the video. I had to go in and get something for our son. But anyway, we did go to Napa this morning and we picked up the new master cylinder and slave cylinder and >> it works.
>> It works. So, we're good to go there.
>> Is the extra money worth it? Yes, cuz working parts are nice.
>> Yeah.
Um, I'm going to go outside and get the bumper off of the factory twotonon frame and then I got to get the mounts from the Dodge bumper so we can cut them off because we mount them. Y'all know how we do that. We use the factory mounts, cut them down, put plates on them. Anyway, we have to fix the bumper though. We got to do some bandage.
>> Yeah, it's been hit on both sides of the truck. So, it's in the middle. It's like pointing at you. We're going to try and stick it between two forks of trees and push it with our forward forklift. We've had good luck doing that before, but >> these are really thick metal bumpers.
They're not they're heavy duty, so you can't just hammer them out. It doesn't work the other way.
>> But um yeah, I'm going to start on wiring. Hook up gauges.
Uh water and temp.
That was both the same thing. Oil intent.
>> I'm wearing off on you, bro. Um, yeah, we're once he gets that done.
Intercooler pot. We're not sure yet.
Ronnie was supposed to look for me this morning at tag. We do not want to buy them from Napa.
>> Those are expensive. I >> got some ordered, but they ain't going to be here till May 1st, estimated.
June.
June 1st estimated.
>> You're backwards today.
>> Next year, >> but yeah, hopefully Tag has them and they're not too crazy expensive, but we'll see.
But we're going to get to it. All right, guys. So, this is what the bumper look like. Like Dave said, this side's actually pretty straight. It's mainly right there in the middle. It bent in and then it bent out on the far side. It does look like they put newer bolts in there at some point.
So, I'm going to try to get these thing ripped off. I've got two here, two there, two on top, and two on top.
I might have to cut off because the backside the nut has fallen through halfway through the hole.
All right, guys. So, I got five of the bolts out. Uh, I'm going to have to cut three off because of how the bumper is bent and I can't get to them.
Heat.
Heat.
Hello.
All right, guys. I went ahead and got my Dodge bumper brackets off that will hook to this frame. I'm going to get them put on and then we'll cut them off where we need them and then I can make my plates to go from these to our C60 bumper.
All right, guys. So, this is what Davey's been doing. Uh, we got our power block hooked up here. It's also an on andoff switch. We like using these just because Because >> just because.
>> Just because. No reason.
>> All right, guys. So, I'm starting to get our fan put in. I got one in. There was a lot of people concerned about how close the radiator and motor are together. Yes, electric fan will fit in there. That's the point of us moving the engine back. So we can run the radiator and electric fan.
Got our new cab lights installed.
Davey is working on getting our gauges installed, our temp and oil gauge there.
All right, guys. It is Friday evening.
Um, we got a little bit done today. We didn't get as much done as we wanted to.
>> We had everything fight us all day.
>> On days we shouldn't even have been out here, apparently.
Worked on one wire for two and a half hours.
Yeah, long story. Won't get into it. Um, we are going to be buying, we bought, we're going to be waiting on new wiring harness for the inside, new fuse box and all that cuz this fuse box is bad. So, we're waiting on that to come in before we can kind of finish the wiring. Uh, it will crank over, but as far as the lights working all the time, they flicker on and off. So, the fuse box is bad.
Yeah.
>> Inner coil pipe. We are going to be waiting on that because Tag can't get them and he said it just take just as long if he ordered them, too. So, where on that?
>> Always waiting on parts. Uh other than that, I guess I can go ahead and do the kill mat, all that. Uh we can put the hood back on after I get that done. I'll go ahead and get all this wire put in loom probably too before I do that. Um yeah.
>> Yeah. I mean, there's still things we got to get the bumper on. We got to get the bumper straightened out. We got to get the side lights wired up and working. We're going to put better lenses on them.
>> Yeah.
Yeah.
>> There's still a lot to do.
>> A lot of tinker things to do.
>> Yeah.
a lot of little things >> and we'll be waiting on the bed probably another week or two. So, it ain't like we're in a huge rush, I guess, to get it done. We just it's how we operate.
>> We like to get stuff done. But yeah, anyway, we're going to call it a day and we'll see y'all tomorrow morning. And this is going to be it for this video.
So, please like, comment, and subscribe.
Peace.
>> Thanks for watching, guys.
