[00:00:20]So, in this video, I'll be showing off 90 vintage t-shirts that I spent $12,726 on. This box right here was $5,000. And this little tiny stack right here was $7,726.

[00:00:42]Now, a lot of these I actually purchased several months ago. Like this box, uh I think I sent the payment uh yeah, back in December. And most of these were purchased shortly before that, except for like a handful of them that I actually purchased in person. But the main reason I wanted to make this video is because I find it so interesting to see the wide array of opinions on whether or not I wasted my money or not. The reason it took me so long to even film this video is because this is like the first time in months that my apartment has actually been somewhat clean. I've been taking product picks and focused on selling for the first couple months of 2026 so I can get right back to buying, which means I have had just shirts and product all over so I could take some photographs and post them to Thrift Row. I spent $7,526 because one of the shirts from that pile is actually this one. This has got to be the greatest Natalie Merchant t-shirt I've ever seen. Let me just get in a twerking position real quick so you can see the back. Hands on your knees. I'll get into these shirts in a second. But really, what I want to get into first is this box. I've had this box for months.

[00:02:02]It's just been sitting in a corner in my living room with shirts stacked on top of it since I received it. So, I want to open it.

[00:02:18]Already see some good shirts. I definitely did not forget about this one. The Deaf Tones Adrenaline with the back hit. Of course, this thing is like even more beautiful in person. This is like perfect measurements. Obviously, some of like the heavier items I still remember like the butthole surfers on the Hannes 50/50. I did forget about this. Yo, the lemon heads. I also did not remember this shirt, the velocity girl. I actually have the sickest velocity girl shirt that's going to be shown off in an upcoming video. Oh yeah, the CG designs. That one is so sick.

[00:02:59]There's a classic right there. I actually might have to uh wait to show this off till we get a little bit further in the video. Jawbox. Oh, this one. I forgot this was in here, but I remember seeing I'm not going to lie to you guys. I was pretty excited to see this, but like as I unfolded it, I got a glimpse of another shirt that I'm even more excited about. We're going to come back to this. Okay, this shirt right here. I remember when I first saw this.

[00:03:22]I want to be Barbie. The [ __ ] has everything. Now, I've had this shirt before, but what I have not had is this shirt as a test print. This isn't some stain. This is actually a print down here with a print on the back as well.

[00:03:35]fashion victim graphic. Oh wow. If you look on the sleeve, it says zombie. Oh man, I'm stoked to have that. This right here is a South by Southwest t-shirt.

[00:03:48]You have like all the people performing on the back. You don't really see a lot of like vintage South by Southwest TE's, so it's kind of sick. And then I love the front graphic as well. Coil 9-in nails. I actually also forgot that this shirt was in there. The Afghan wigs, the new sound of young America on the back.

[00:04:04]One of my favorite shirts in my personal collection, which if you guys did not see that video, of course, I will leave that somewhere in the upper uh tier of this video. One of the shirts I showed off is one of my favorites. You have this little hoola girl on the front. It says, "Shake it, baby." ODM tag. This is I am not familiar Everyday Life, a Christian rapcore group.

[00:04:30]>> I don't know. It seems a little too heavy for me, but beautiful fade. Nice wear. M here's a good one. Jean Simmons right there on the front. Single statch on the good old tag. I love the back of these. Says, "Seal this garment." Please don't don't listen to that. The Smokeoky on the Onita. I've actually never owned this one. I did have one that I sold like several years ago now at this point, the Pokemon, which was hilarious.

[00:04:55]I actually think that shirt said got to snort them all. Nice little local band tee. I'm hoping this one fits cuz this is actually one of my favorite seaweed tees. I have a couple that are more valuable, but I've always thought this one was so sick with the little Motel 6 logo flip. Oh, nice. Good Keith Herring on the Pop Shop tag. What's this one?

[00:05:15]Einstein Tropo. It's got a lot of stains. Time in the tube. That is cool.

[00:05:21]It's like a surfing shirt. On the back, it says 1986 Maui Chrobo. Anytime I see Maui, I get excited cuz I actually used to live on Maui for like 9 months. I'm definitely putting this straight in Oxy Bath to see if I can get these out. I don't remember this one either. The Cosmic Goose Juggling Farm. Says that four times and it's got these people juggling. It's like a long sleeve. That one is sick. Super random, but like so freaking cool. Stop Animal Testing with the little bunny rabbit taking a test.

[00:05:54]Oh yeah, Maxwell 2001 tour. I actually sold one that was kind of like similar to this. says uh Satan inside.

[00:06:05]>> I don't remember what this is. Oh, that's kind of fire. On the front it says Attakus and the back says censorship causes blindness and it's in those like little eye test things. I've seen these way too many times cuz your boy's blind. Damn, this kind of like an older BAM shirt. That is a throwback for sure. This one is crazy. 2004 Britney Spears rap teeth.

Yo, one of the best American Thunder like cat tees. An absolute classic Supreme reference. I know it's also a band. Ooh, this one I did know was in here. This is one of the heaters for sure. The Dr. Dre pus head and bud we trust on the back. I do not even smoke marijuana. I love that shirt. And I kind of like all the dying on the shoulder. It's like someone bleached their hair wearing this. I don't remember this shirt at all, but I love it. Yo, virgin. I might have to keep that one for the personal. This is another possible personal. The martini cat. That's like nice and worn. Dude, I literally just got done trying to sell half my personal collection and I'm over here trying to like add stuff to my personal. I don't remember this one either. I need to do a picture of all the different Dick and Jane shirts that I have. Dick is making a booty call and he's calling Shorty. I have no idea what this shirt is, but it's cool. Curious if the numbers like mean anything. Kip Cen 1994. Oh, yes. I forgot about this one.

[00:07:31]The anatomy of the eye. I have like a stack of shirts. You see this right here? Actually, these are not supposed to be seen. Going to have to like blur that out or something. Those are all personals that I forgot to show off in the personal collection. Or at least a lot of them are in the stack. Right here is actually this same shirt, but the graphic is a little bit different. It's like the anatomy of the eyeball. So now whichever one fits me worst is getting sold. Here's a good one. I feel like almost every older woman hits a certain age where she starts just putting those types of pictures in their bathroom. I don't know why, but yeah. Super cool. Malcolm X shirt. Blues explosion. Dude, this shirt is sick. Is shorty naked. I think she is. I have not really listened to this band, but super cool graphic. Dang, that's cool. Poster for Kenoglass 1924.

[00:08:37]Got this like eyeball with this like Russian font. Soviet silent documentary film. What's a Soviet silent? Is there just no sound? Very obscure. Nice little fishbone. It's actually been a while since I've had one of these helmet. Bird house projects. I forgot about this stucy, but I kind of like vaguely remember. And man, this one's so good.

[00:09:05]Oh, I remember this one. This one's cool. If you look at the back of this, it says Mount Hood Ski Bowl. You have like Violent Fe Afghan wigs, House of Pain. You have this band MC900 Jesus.

[00:09:17]I've never listened to that band ever in my life or whatever. But I did have a shirt that had this on it. I ended up trading it or I think we traded or I sold it to someone. Probably going to hold on to that one cuz I just think that's super sick and it's a little local piece. That's tough. This looks like some perfect dark type graphic, but you got this shorty with just a big pistol. Oh, finally. Man, this one is so good. The medical research. Such a sick graphic. I've wanted that one for a while and that's my first time owning it. I love Rayman talca. I have no idea what this is. I don't even remember seeing this. I don't know if he just threw this one in or what. We got some faders. Fade is immaculate. Like this thing is scrumptious. Blue oyster cult.

[00:09:59]Don't fear the reaper. Oh, this one's sick. Beautiful fade on this. You are here. Little galaxy cut off. I do remember this shirt being in there. Of course, the typo negative nayal death long sleeve skull pile. Shout out to Juicy Jay. But it's the long sleeve.

[00:10:16]I've not ever owned this as a long sleeve. I've had the short sleeve many times, but the long sleeve is tough.

[00:10:21]Especially cuz the print only goes like partway down, which is so sick.

This is not the '90s version. This is the 2004 version. As you can see on the back, got Jesus long sleeve. The fact that it's a long sleeve makes it so much better. The definition of the word Lenny Kravitz 1999. Buck Cherry on the lineup. Couldn't picture going to a concert for Lenny Kravitz and seeing Buck Cherry and Smashmouth. That being said, I have heard Lenny Kravitz has quite the hog on them. Speaking of hog, we can finally show off the shirt that I couldn't show off earlier. This one. Yeah, this was the shirt that I couldn't show off earlier. I'm still going to probably blur it out like the pile over there. But yeah, Tom of Finland Grail. Oh, here's a good one.

[00:11:32]Old lost. This says lost sucks. Got shorty on the back. Soft tea tag. One of the best tags. I completely forgot about this one. Beasty Boys. I also forgot about this one. This one I might hold on to. Uh, this one looks like it'll fit me better than the one that I have. This shirt became pretty popular because it was worn by Kurt Cobain. The wine stains. Dang, I forgot this shirt was in there, too. The censorship is unamerican. Another shirt referenced by Supreme. I don't even know if we discussed this shirt, but super cool.

[00:12:00]Like airbrush. What's the dude doing, though? And then, of course, last but not least, the flaming lips. Caution.

[00:12:15]I actually forgot about so many of those shirts. I think that was 72 shirts. And in this pile, we got the rest. Well, and the one that I'm wearing. This is like my favorite part of reselling vintage.

[00:12:27]Like, it's cool making money doing something. I don't know, like selling something that you're interested in, but it's way cooler buying the stuff you're interested in. And even on my last video, it's funny because when I said that I was selling half my personal collection, so many people are like, "What? Are you getting rid of your personal?" Like, no. I just have hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of personals. I genuinely think I probably had about 1,000 t-shirts in my personal collection. I don't know if I got it down to 500. I've been meaning to do a final count, but let's get to this. All right, so first of all, we have this crowbar tee. Now, I do not know if this is a crowbar bande. I've never seen this graphic used by the band, but it came from like a band T Hall, and a lot of the bands are like adjacent to Crowbar.

[00:13:10]The source makes me think that it could be and it was like an OG owner. It's not like it was some stupid little vintage seller wearing like a Natalie Merchant shirt and super amazing like thermal shorts that wears Birkenstocks too much selling it. Like it was an older dude.

[00:13:25]So yeah, it could be crowbar, it could not be. I will say the graphic is pretty sick though either way. Next up, of course, Massy Star. It is on the Steman Naturalborn Killers. Absolute classic.

[00:13:37]This is the first time I've had this shirt. The Sound Garden Black Hole Sun pristine condition. Like literally XL.

[00:13:45]This thing is scrump scrumptitly umpumptious. Silver chair frog stomp 96 tour long sleeve. Sonic youth confusion is sex on the Hannes. Beefy. Nice little Wu Tang Ratzy with the back hit, of course. Galaxy 500, Edgar Allan Poe.

[00:14:02]Great music. Also amazing shirts. Galaxy 500. The 1995 Jeff Buckley. This one's one of my favorites. The Sunday's pairs.

[00:14:11]I had the reading, writing, arithmetic.

[00:14:13]I actually worked out some sort of trade with a friend of mine. That one is cool, but they always fit big because they come on a brochom one sizefits-all tag.

[00:14:20]I don't know if I've ever actually even seen it on another tag. This, in my opinion, is the best Sunday shirt. Oh man, another one that I don't know if I can sell. I don't know if you guys are looking ahead just in case. We're going to move the pile down here. This is a grail. The fading on the graphic is so perfect. The Verve Astronaut on the Brocom XL. Yeah, this one I don't know if I can sell. I haven't tried it on.

[00:14:43]It's been very difficult every time I pass this like this pile of shirts not being able to try these on. The only one I did try on, I will be honest, is the Sundays. But to be fair, the Sundays is one of the few shirts that I did not get like through the mail system. I did purchase that one in person. This pile was supposed to be uh $8,000, but I sold one of the shirts to a homie of mine who was actually visiting. He actually plays guitar for a band, Condition One. This is footage. We went to his show.

[00:15:15]The music's a little bit more angry than what I normally listen to. I like the nice calm music, but I will say even though I was a little out of my element, I appreciated it and it was fun. So, I sold him the Morsy boxer that I got with that Sunday shirt, which is why technically it's like a weird uneven number. I don't even know if I'm going to put 12,700 something. But anyways, I think the rest of these I actually got in person as well. Yeah, all these were like recent local buys that I just want to show off. Sonic Youth. This one is so sick. I might need to keep that. And the Verve. I know it's kind of random, especially after showing off all these crazy shirts, but this shirt is a banger. This shirt's really cool. Jex FX. I did some research on this, some investigative research on the computer on the interwebs. And this was actually uh special effects company, I guess, that was like started by a couple. And this company, I guess, actually had like their hand or did some uh effects for a lot of really popular movies. Now, this is a simple offspring, but it's kind of cool cuz it's a Euro tour. Not one you'll see very often. Oh, this one's hilarious. The looks maxing grail. Got like the box of wedies and it says steroids snack drug of champions. Yo, Clav, if you need hit my line, I got you. Then we got this, which I have no idea what it is. Says visual obstruction, I think on the tag. I know the licensing also says something like that as well. Yeah, if you look right here, it says like visual obstruction.

[00:16:39]You have the artist uh Rob Shepard. I want to find some more shirts from this, but I kind of just bought this cuz I thought the artwork was super cool. I want to see if they made more shirts.

[00:16:47]That one uh I don't know much about. And speaking of things that I don't know much about, here's a band that I haven't really listened to, but the shirt's really cool. 66 Saints. And I believe they are from Seattle, but they're like a punk band. And the freaking artwork is so sick. This shirt is like nice and soft. I got this from another little local homie. You know what? I'm also going to show off one more shirt. I was going to show this off in one of the upcoming videos just in case I decide to use uh the title 13,000. I'll show you guys a shirt that I I think I spent like 200 on. But this shirt right here, one of my all-time grail Jesus tees. The front says the thrill of victory and of course the back says the agony of defeat. And I kind of like that they use Doré artwork but colorizes the art and the font. It's also kind of cool, too, because it's not as known as uh some of the other Doré pieces. Like, if you guys know, I have a Doré that's actually up in the studio. There's that door up there that I got for a dollar.

[00:17:47]I've had people ask to buy it, but it's just not a shirt that I really want to sell because I got it for a dollar. It's like kind of like a little momento. I feel like some of those AOPS or those bigger prints are some of the more known door pieces. Actually, another one of the personals that I kept was this uh Dor. This is like a smaller print, but they do have an AOP version of this.

[00:18:09]This is the Living Epistols one with the Bible verse on the back. To me, this one is the sickest. A local homie who had it, knew I wanted it for a while. He came down, sold me some stuff, and uh finally brought me this. So, yeah. That way, if I do decide to put $13,000 in the title, I'm not a liar. I'm not going to lie, man. I miss opening stuff and just like going through shirts. I forgot like a lot of what was in this box. Now I have to uh try to go through everything and see what I'm going to keep and what I'm going to sell. And it's getting dark. So I'll show you guys tomorrow. Tomorrow is only a day away.

[00:18:48]Balance is terrible. So in terms of the items I am keeping, you know, there's some shirts like this shirt right here, the butthole surfers. I love that shirt.

[00:18:57]I think it's a really cool shirt.

[00:18:59]However, I don't know if there's a single but hole surfer song I've ever heard of that I liked. And sometimes there are shirts that make some sort of exemption list where I don't really care about the band, but I still wear the shirt. And not that that really matters cuz I really don't care if someone is wearing a shirt for whatever reason. I have far too many personals. Yeah. It's just like it's a very valuable shirt for me to justify keeping when I don't even care for the band. Now, I do like Sound Garden. I also like Jeff Buckley. Uh you guys can't see, but if I put this back right here, I like Dr. Dre and I like De Tones. That being said, I think I'm going to sell most of those. I might keep the Deaf Tones for a little bit because it is such unicorn measurements.

[00:19:43]Obviously, you guys know I'm keeping the door. I already said that. If you were sitting at home watching this video thinking, >> "Oh, I wonder if he's going to keep the Natalie Merchant, I man, go watch some more videos. I love you, but no. Now, the Verve. I still haven't tried this on. Should I just try it on right now?

[00:19:59]I'm almost scared to try it on because I don't want to sell it. And if it doesn't fit me perfectly, I can't really justify keeping it.

[00:20:12]Yeah, just a little bit too big. I'll probably still like wear it a couple times, but yeah, eventually this will probably get sold. Here's an example of a bandee that, you know, I might end up keeping even though I don't really care for the band. Super tough. Man, this shirt is freaking sick, though. I might just uh wear this and pretend it's a Verve shirt. Hopefully, all the people who would get mad about me keeping a Sonic Youth shirt when I don't listen to Sonic Youth have clicked off the video.

[00:20:36]Actually, never mind. Hopefully, they're commenting right now how much of a poser I am because I would much rather have the comment and the watch time. Why is this shirt always so big? This one fits pretty good. I still might hold on to this cuz it's the best fitting version of this shirt that I have owned yet. I would like one that's a little bit more boxy. My homies cat hair is all over this. Yo, you got a white cat or something, bro? I like this shirt for two reasons. One, it's obviously a local Tacoma band. Very specific to the city in which I was raised, not just the greater Pacific Northwest area. And two, I actually got chlamydia at a Motel 6.

[00:21:12]So, uh, kind of reminds me of some past trauma. Don't worry, I got cured.

[00:21:20]Or did I? And then sadly, this shirt fits me a little bit too big, but I still might hold on to it for a while just cuz I think it is so freaking cool.

[00:21:28]And the Lemon Heads I did try on. It fits pretty good. I still might sell it cuz I already have too many Lemon Heads T-shirts in the collection. That one is super cool and it fits me pretty good.

[00:21:40]Ooh, this one fits good, too. I don't know if it fits better than the other eyeball shirt. I'll have to take that one out of the stack and compare and contrast. Honestly, that's uh not too bad. I'm really only keeping like 10 personals between 10 and 15%. I am like so excited for summer. I'm back outside.

[00:21:58]I've like locked myself inside just focused on selling and videos like this.

[00:22:03]It makes me feel so much excitement to get back out literally uh tomorrow morning at like 6:00 a.m. I got to catch a flight to Oklahoma for ThriftCon. I got a little overseas trip planned. In the past, I have spent like the worst months in Washington traveling the country and thrifting state-tostate, making content, and I love doing that.

[00:22:22]This time, I focused on just staying inside and selling so I can spend this summer outside as much as possible.

[00:22:30]Expect some more videos that I have to shoot like I don't know, it's hundreds of t-shirts. But I wanted to separate this one because last time I made a video that was similar. I think it was $10,000 on 68 t-shirts. It was something right around there. When I look back at that video, it's funny because there are still some people that thought it was crazy I spent that much money for that many t-shirts. You're watching this right now and you're in a vintage, you think the majority of people still think $30 is expensive for a t-shirt. I recently uh got to see my sister again.

[00:23:03]I think it's literally been almost 10 years exactly since last time I saw my sister. And it's funny cuz we were texting literally this morning and she was asking me about Fear of God essentials and why it's so expensive because a hoodie is like 150 bucks. To put that in perspective, you know, like a lot of people out there still view this thing that we do as super crazy or weird. And who knows, maybe they're right. Every group or every community of people has something that they spend their money on that someone else says is a waste of money. you know, whether it be video games, whether it be cars, whether it be bikes, whether it be Pokémon cards, any collectible, whatever it may be. And every single one of those communities will justify that purchase.

[00:23:46]But I just think it's interesting to kind of put that in perspective.

[00:23:51]Sometimes, even people who are into vintage, who may not have the same appreciation, even they'll look at other people in the vintage community, even though they have some level of knowledge, and say, "Oh, that person wasted their money." When me and Paul started, I just saw like a little spit thing fly towards the camera screen.

[00:24:07]Hopefully that wasn't caught on video, even though it doesn't matter because now I'm calling it out verbally. Started HF, which was what Thrift Heaven Vintage was before he moved back to Texas. And obviously I like basically stopped selling vintage for several years because I was so busy with Supreme content, which by the way, I actually successfully got one of my favorite pieces of the season. Who's texting me?

[00:24:30]But I think even back then, you know, like we used to just go to thrift stores, we'd find something for $3, sell it for $6. Even some of my best buys, like that $10,000 for 68 shirts. There's no way I would have done that back then.

[00:24:43]I just wouldn't have known cuz I would have never taken the time to look into it. It just I I don't know. I was just more focused on actually going to the thrift store at the time. One, the thrifts weren't nearly as cooked as they are now. And I still like that hunt. I still try to get out and thrift when I can. But if I'm being honest, I actually even like going to flea markets more than thrifting. Like, yeah, I can get better deals at thrift stores, and I do appreciate trying to find a thing, but when I go to flea markets, I get to meet so many like-minded people. I don't know. I just get to see a bunch of cool stuff. It's just weird that this is a job, and it trips me out. It's freaking amazing. I appreciate all you guys. I've always been very vocal that I don't deserve any of this. I think it's crazy that I haven't had a regular job in over 10 years. I have traveled to almost every single state in the country. I have traveled to multiple countries.

[00:25:29]I've traveled to all these cool places all thanks to this. That's never been lost on me. Like, I really do appreciate that more than you know. Like, it's insane to me. And yeah, I don't know.

[00:25:39]I'm just excited to get back to the part that I enjoy the most. I am still going to be selling. I'm still going to be working on some projects. I want to focus more on like content. For those of you guys that follow me on Whatnot, I actually spaced out my shows a little bit more. I think the next one's in like 2 weeks. After that, it's like a month.

[00:25:55]And the reason that I did that is because I'm going to do a couple less shows so I can kind of focus on buying, traveling, but also when I'm home, I want to focus more on selling in person.

[00:26:07]I don't like setting up and breaking down for markets, but I love the opportunity to meet people who are into this weird thing that we are into or maybe some of us.
