How My Blue Collar Company Manages A $40k+ Week Payroll
Added:All right, guys. Monday morning. Nice refreshing weekend for the most part.
What do we got, Isaiah?
Bucket climb all day. Local out of town.
Albany and then Selker.
>> All right, that's not bad. Isaiah, tell the 60% of our viewers that are watching that aren't subscribed, subscribe to the channel.
>> Just makes more sense to subscribe. Why wouldn't you be subscribed?
>> Yeah. I mean, it's like the easiest thing in the world. Click a couple buttons, boom, >> it probably is. A lot of people don't have like YouTube accounts.
>> Well, set a freaking YouTube account.
>> It's all so easy.
>> Yeah, it's all easy thing to do. I >> Listen, I'm guilty. I you know how many years I watched YouTube channels without subscribing and then I realized when I was going to start a YouTube channel. I should probably subscribe because I want people to subscribe for my channel.
Let's see what time it is. 7:03. You guys are ready to pull out.
>> Ready to pull out.
>> Nice. We're set at >> all right. I'll talk to you in a bit.
All right. So, we're going to check up on Chris. See how he's doing on his big pool job. I just talked to him. I mean, they're freaking cruising from what he just told me. Andrew is doing really well. He'll be done with his job today.
I got Ivan changing some tires on David's truck real quick. The front tire was messed up. So, Ivan's doing his thing. I got to see what job that Andrew's moving on to. Pretty calm morning for the most part. Ivan, that's 100% the right tire and everything, right?
>> Yeah.
>> All right.
>> Right.
>> All right.
>> Those spare tires come in handy one of these days.
>> Yeah. Seriously, where's Ivonne at? We got to get Ivonne going.
What's up, Poppy? Adam, will you clean that basuda, please? Put in the the garbage. One of those, Ivon.
>> So, you're going to want to put your uh trailer on the truck for the for the first job.
Yeah.
Come with me, Evan. I'll show you the material we need. Here's Seth.
Buenos Diaz.
I'm so used to saying Buenos Diaz. I'm saying freaking Buenos Diaz to the freaking American guys. That's not good.
I don't want to see that. All that mud and [ __ ] I don't know why there's freaking dirt on there.
So, take that that small roll of chain link the pecano. This is 4T, right? Just make sure you measure. It's 4T. And then do you have this in your trailer, Yvon?
these pieces or no?
>> Two, three, four.
>> I need two. All right. So, get the get that loaded. Yeah. And this I'll You'll follow me to the job. Last year when we did the fence, we we stretched the fabric and got it really really tight because he's got two big dogs. So, now we got to take just a section of it out, put a new section in. It's just going to be a pain in the ass cuz how tight the fence is. Like a royal pain in the ass.
I hate repair jobs like this, but it comes with the territory of installing fence. I just whenever I come across stuff like this, I just charge however I got to charge for it to make sense. One of the things you could do first thing this morning is go get two Kenworth of Crusher and dump over there cuz that's before that turns into a muddy mess over at uh free.
>> Yep.
Macho, I forgot to uh forgot to call you yesterday to go do the job.
>> No, it's not my phone. Probably a different number.
>> No, I forget >> for call you. Oh, >> so we got to do it. We got to do it this Saturday. Don't let me forget. Okay.
>> Okay.
>> You're good, David.
>> Good.
>> All right.
You're driving. Let's see what you got.
Cookies.
>> Maybe it's Oreo cookies.
>> No, it's fruit snack. Open it up.
You open.
>> I got work for >> No. Open your damn fruits now.
>> Jesus Christ.
>> Who's it from?
>> I don't know, man.
>> For you. Enjoy your gift, Ivan. I can tell you how much you love through sex from watching the videos. I hope the last I hope these last for you quite some time. From Brandon Johnson.
>> Brandon Johnson. You got a new fan.
Ivan.
>> Thanks, Brandon.
>> Thank you, Brandon. How's your >> They'll last me for a little while. Oh yeah. How how's your stash coming along?
>> Oh, let's take a look. Mind you, I still have I still have all of this.
>> I still have the one the other one like this from Jamie and >> Oh, dude, you're thinning out like crazy.
>> Not only are you thinning out like crazy, these things are coming just as fast as you're eating them. Dude, I can't imagine. Here, save your uh nice right here. Where where are they all?
Let me see.
>> All right. Well, Monday starting off it's right here.
>> Adam's going to a pretty freaking big stump grinding job today.
>> And then after Adam's done >> with the stump grinding, Ivon's going in, >> I think the beginning of next week to getting it all graded out and hydro seated. It's a big job. It's going to be a lot of clean fill going in there.
>> Got him.
You weren't ready for that, were you?
Jorge gotcha.
Look at the Oreo cookies on the dashboard.
>> Okay, >> I can almost guarantee you 100% every single one of the Amigos trucks at every moment of the day there's Oreo cookies.
They buy those damn family packs and they just eat Oreo cookies the way Ivan eats his fruit snacks. All right, Yvon's ready to go. I'll see you guys later.
We did this install last year. Is a combination of vinyl and chain link fence. I got to show them what to do. I really don't know what my day looks like. I forgot to grab the paperwork in the office to see what I got for appointments and stuff. So, I got to go run and grab that. Also, make sure if you're watching the video, hit the like button, take your time, subscribe to the channel, make some comments, show the support with seven Zox, America's favorite bluecollar YouTube channel. It will be America's favorite YouTube channel. I won't accept anything but that. [ __ ] gate rubbing. One thing we got to fix, Ivonne, is the gate. It's rubbing. But the problem, there's no Mospasio. So when we when you guys put these gates, you got to do a little bit more. The other thing we got to fix. So right here, you see from like here to there, we got to take it out, put new in. You know how you take the fabric out? And it's the same thing over here. When Ivonne did this job last year with his brother, we pulled this chain link so freaking tight and it's going to make this uh repair just pain in the ass right here. So, we got to just take out a small piece. But remember, when you and Alberto did this, you put this so it's really tight. So, that's why I'm saying you got to put the two detention rods, one and one strap on the top, strap on the bottom, put it tight, and then put the new piece in.
And then finish. I think that's it for here.
All right, we just pulled up to Andrew's job, which he'll be wrapping up today. I don't have a lot of stops today. I'm going to stop at Chris's job tomorrow, but I do have six estimates to do.
Couple of them sound really good. What's up, Andrew?
>> Let's go take a look.
Very nice.
>> Guess I need a way the fab wet.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Put the sand in.
Very, very nice.
This is a good color.
>> I like this color. So, this color here, this is um Sahara Chestnut Light Cambridge. As always, the border is 4 1/2 by 9 mocha. Originally, there is no walkway here. There was a deck there.
Andrew removed the deck, installed the pavers. The pavers are still a little wet, so they can't put the poly sand.
How many days for this job, Andrew?
It'll be 3 days.
>> Three days.
>> Yeah. So, if this is your first time watching, you're a new subscriber. Make sure you go back to, you know, our other videos cuz we show, you know, dayto day, the day-to-day operation, getting guys started during the process of the job.
If you don't know, this is Andrew. He's uh the basically the foreman, the team leader of this crew. He's amazing. He's been with me for a long time. His work is flawless. And when I tell you there's literally never a job I got to go to and say, "Oh, you got to fix this." Nope.
Andrew, he's proud of what he does. He loved what he does and he wants to do an amazing job. Customers happy, Andrew.
>> Yeah.
>> Look, good job, Forino.
>> Looks really good. On the front, it was just a repair. You could see these old caps right here.
Andrew ripped out all the old caps, put in all new. So, this is split face mocha caps. See, Andrew's got a nice cut around the corner. Nice 45s and the caps on top. Every one of these caps had to be cut all the way down just to make the curve. And then they're going to reand this, make it look pretty. That's going to be it for this job. And then we're going to the next one. Of course.
>> Good job. Does your son ever watch the videos?
>> Yes. My mom too.
>> Yeah. I didn't lost any single video.
>> That's awesome.
>> Yeah.
>> We'll start the next job.
>> Okay.
>> All right.
>> Uh for my process in my >> Oh, yeah. Yes. Yes.
So, this I want to share with you guys something amazing. So, Andrew's been coming with the company how many years?
12 years.
>> 12 almost 13 years. and Andrew started out on the H2B work visa process that we do and in 2018 we started the process to make him a permanent green card holder. So I think it was what 2020 2021 >> 2020 >> um he got approval for his green card and we immediately started the process for his wife and kids. An Andrew has a beautiful family, beautiful wife. He's got a daughter and a son. We've been waiting for how many years?
>> Almost five years.
>> Almost almost five. Almost 5 years. For basically to get to the point where his family in Mexico has an interview with the embassy in Mexico so they can get their green card. And Andrew just got that email last week. So this is 5 years in in the making. This is amazing news.
Andrew is an amazing person. He is amazing for the company. He's amazing for this country. He's the exact type of people we want to be a part of our country. And I am so happy and excited for him to have that ability to bring his family here and take his life to only places he can imagine. Andrew is going to be going home soon, but this is a big deal.
>> You know, he wants to make sure his family has everything they need. they travel safely, everything like that. So, >> but I need to tell you, thank you so much for call me a lot.
>> No problem.
>> Yeah, thank you for everything.
I'm, you know, this is a perfect moment for me to respond to a comment. So, somebody put a comment on YouTube saying, >> "Oh, you're big company." Basically saying it's stupid to have a big business, right? Number one, if I had a human superpower, my superpower would be I don't stress cuz I'm happy to be alive and breathing and healthy. And I'm the pleasure that I get giving people like Andrew an opportunity to grow with the company, to give his family the American dream.
It makes all the bull that you said and you hide behind your comments makes it all worth it. So, I'm happy you want a great business. Good for you. So do I.
And uh people like Andrew make it work work me doing what I do every day. So that's that. I'm going to leave the comment at that. But anybody that wants to go on YouTube and uh read his comment and give them their feedback, feel free.
Okay.
>> All right. I'll see you later. The other thing I want to say is we get a lot of comments about, oh, you know, is that a freaking Mexican flag on your shirt?
Well, if I had to choose between a Mexican flag and an American flag, I'm going to choose the American flag all day. Every single one of my shirts has the American flag on it. Our hats have the Mexican flag on it. My I'm Polish. I have the Polish eagle tattooed on my arm. Should I not do that? No. Okay.
There's nobody more proud of to be an American and to be given what this country gives. But everybody has heritage. Everybody, you know, the Italian, the Irish, the German, the Polish, the Mexicans, the whatever, the Puerto Rican, they should all be proud and we all have the right to represent, okay, our, you know, background. But America first. this, you know, these guys, like I just said in the video, Andrew is literally the ideal type of person we want to come in this country.
He's proud of his Mexican heritage, but he wants to give back to this country.
He wants to work hard. He wants to be a contributing factor. Couldn't have a better person to have happening, what's happening with his family and stuff like that. This is the last job I got to stop at for today. We're going to stop at Chris's job tomorrow, see the progress on that. I have to do some estimates. I have to go check on Quinn and them in the office. Subscribe to the channel, like, comment, and whatever else you're supposed to do on the YouTube channel.
Do it.
What's going on today? Anything good?
>> I had some Facebook Marketplace paper sales this morning. I sold two pallets.
>> Nice. Out of the Boneyard or what?
What's up with our freaking Aderondac furniture, man? It's We freaking sold out last year.
>> We also have a sign out there next year.
Quinn, where the hell's the now open sign thing I wanted you to put out there?
>> I think I put them all on.
>> All right. Well, Dad, make sure he puts that out.
>> I I'll grab it. I have most of it worked up, but they forgot to add in the 5ft gateway.
>> All right. Yeah, we need that because those people are holding back money for that job.
>> Don't forget my shirts, please.
>> Yes. What size are you? That Hold on. I'm blowing something up.
>> Damn, those are >> Check this out.
>> Look at Abraham Lincoln.
>> Look at here.
Kind of want to blow something up right now. You got a lighter in there?
>> I do, actually.
For those of you that don't know it, fireworks slash firecrackers, fire anything, I'm obsessed with. I've loved them since I was a little kid. I think they're the freaking most badass thing you could play with as long as you do it responsibly.
>> That was stupid, Ivan.
>> I didn't see the plane.
All right. This one's it's more of a sound effects, which is better for the daytime. Would you like to do the honors, Ivan?
>> Sure.
>> Ivan, I just got three things to say. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS.
>> God bless America >> and gentlemen.
Start your engine.
>> God bless America.
The neighbors definitely going to call the cops.
>> Oh yeah.
>> They call the cops on us for everything.
Ivan, you should hold it. Put it right here as it's going off.
>> Yeah, but I gotta have like a an American flag speedo. That'll work, right?
>> Yeah, >> we'll put him in a speedo. Have him do that.
>> I ain't wearing no goddamn speedo. I don't have the womanly physique for a speedo.
>> It's always fun when you're lighting off fireworks in the middle of a work day.
All right, I guess I better uh stop screwing around. Actually get some work done. Even though I already have done two estimates, gotten guys going. It's 11:16. I got to walk away from the fireworks because it will turn into just like a cycle where I'm here for the rest of the day blowing up. All right, I got to get some [ __ ] done here. All right, YouTube. I think that's going to be it for our Monday. There's not much more exciting going on for you guys to see.
I'm booked for the rest of the evening with estimates. Tomorrow we are going to go check on Chris's job, check on the progress of that. It's just a mild day all in all today, which those are the good days because you have the days where things are chaotic, breaks down, the joys of being a bluecollar badass business owner. You know what I'm saying? That's how we roll. Make sure you subscribe to the channel, comment, and like. Peace out.
I think this is for you and David. Yeah, YouTube send you guys some cookies.
>> Oh, look at this.
One for you.
>> Thank you.
>> One for you.
>> And one for you, Adam. Where the [ __ ] There's >> There's no >> Oh, no. Usually there's a letter, but these are from people from YouTube.
>> Okay. Thank you so much.
>> Okay.
>> Where's Adam? Let's go give Adam his his cookie. You want You guys want vanilla or the chocolate?
>> That's fine.
>> All right. We'll give we'll give Adam the vanilla cuz he's a mighty cone.
Yeah. So, go to Van Allen, finish trimming, and then go to uh Mohawk trim.
Go to John and Gloria's house first and just clean the weeds.
>> All right. What's up, Ryan? What's up?
>> Thank you, Jamie. These guys are going to be nice and full and fat off the Oreo cookies today. Let's see what we got going with the tree crew. What do we got going today, Seth? All crane work. And then a pole saw joint. So, we're not going to take the bucket out.
>> All right. Um, >> we local or Delmare.
>> Delmare.
>> It's a beautiful thing.
>> A water polite is the furthest one out.
>> Okay. Isaiah's going to be a little bit late. We're going to switch some gear over into my pickup. Ben's going to drive the arburish truck. fries and fig chipped. Good to go.
>> Everything went good overall yesterday though.
>> Yeah. Solid day. Yeah. Everything went everything went well.
>> Beautiful.
>> That one oak tree I did was That was a big tree.
>> That was a big ass tree.
>> Yeah.
>> We moved pretty good on it, though.
>> Nice.
>> Yeah.
>> All right. So, you guys are good.
>> Yeah, we got our marching orders. Any questions, I'll reach out.
>> So, Ivan figured out the problem with the Bobcat, so that's good news. By the way, it's Wednesday. The tree guys had a great day yesterday. We got to stop at a few jobs today. We got to stop at Andrew's job. Chris is going to be pissed off at me because I was supposed to order his concrete yesterday and I called early, but then the lady in the office was like, "Oh, the concrete guys are gone. You got to call tomorrow." And I called at 4:00. Chris is doing good though. He's got all the panels in for the pool. He's cruising. We're going to stop by there. For those of you that are new to the channel, number one, as always, subscribe, like, and comment.
>> Number two, we just moved from a location that we've been at for 15 years. We're in our new location that I I've owned this for 5 years. This is a temporary shop we're in. We're building a new shop. Stay tuned. The property next door is 18 acres. I'm going to take a good long look at that. That I might buy it. I don't know. They're asking too much money for it. I got to yell at Dominic right now.
>> Um because you put a rigger on a concrete patio and broke it and now I got to replace the entire patio.
>> You're putting the rigger on concrete patio.
>> Yes, you did. There's no fixing it either. It's stamped. I sent it to my buddy Vinnie.
>> No, that was that wasn't a rigger. That was the truck itself. Oh, regardless of the fact >> I put myself in there with red logs and as I was pulling out the steering locked up on it, >> we got to fix.
>> Dominic doesn't make a lot of mistakes.
He doesn't for the that he does on a daily basis. He doesn't. If he did, I would be a lot harder on him right now than I am.
>> I'm always up front. You >> This is an honest mistake. It's an expensive mistake. So, the way I'm going to leave this, Dom, is dude, you got to pay attention. You got to pay attention because I don't think we're going to be able to patch this and make it look good. I think we're going to have to rip the whole thing out and redo it. That's business. You know, it sucks. Like I said, if Dominic did like this all the time, he probably wouldn't have a job, you know. But he doesn't. So, this is how I deal with things. Dominic's a hard worker. He's a good guy. He's valuable to the company. But that being said, Dominic, don't do it again.
>> You know, we are getting a dunk tank.
>> What do you got going today, Ivan? You got this ordered, right?
>> I got that ordered. He can, like I say, he can still take that. He just has to be careful.
>> Dominic or Ivan's work comes in waves.
Like yesterday, he's like, "Oh, today's going to be a chill day. Not much to fix." Boom.
>> Got to fix that. This is something simple. You just got to fix that.
>> Jamie, you're a good dude. I love We We need all our fans to be like you. Let me call you back. I'm like real in the thick of getting guys ready right now.
Call you back in 10 minutes.
Adam here.
>> It's from YouTube.
>> Okay. Thank you.
>> Say thank you.
>> Thank you.
>> These guys, they don't they're they're not showing a lot of like excitement, but trust me, they're probably it's going to be the topic of conversation in their house later on. But yes, thank you very very much. Comment, let us know what size uh shirt you are. All right.
We're going to be uh sending you our first limited edition shirt. You're good. Brandola first hydra seed and then mult everything okay?
>> Mhm.
>> You good?
>> Yeah.
>> You sure? All right. All right. We just pulled up Chris's job and things are going pretty damn good. So, while we are waiting for the pool panels, the guys started getting in the patio area. The product that we're using here is Onyx Natural Omega Smooth. You'll see in the rendering that we popped up kind of how this is getting laid out. The pool is all excavated. They're running the uh plumbing right now, waiting for the concrete to show up. They're moving really good. We would actually be further along, but the pool panels didn't show up until Monday and is now Wednesday. So, things are moving really, really, really well here. I bet you by the middle of next week, we might be at a standstill because for the auto cover that's going on it, we can only get to a certain point. We don't install the auto cover. the company that manufactures them does the installation. So, there may be a brief period we got to pull out of this job. But this pool right here, it's a 16x 38. It's got stadium steps going into it.
Nice patio area here. There's going to be black aluminum fence around the perimeter of the pool, landscaping, lighting, the whole nine. This job is going to look absolutely amazing once it's all finished. Keep watching. And you're going to want to see the progress and the transformation on this backyard.
We just rolled up to Andrew's job. This job is literally right around the corner from Chris's job where he's doing the big pool install patio and everything.
this job. We did a beautiful front walkway on it last year. This year they got us back. We're doing walkway, patio, and redoing the deck as well. We only redo decks or build decks if it's incorporated into our hardscape job.
We'll never go to a house and just build a deck. We've done plenty over the years. So, let's take a look. Show you what Andrew's got going on. The walkway is going to start right here up against the driveway. You can kind of see the painted out lines.
It's going to curve into this way into the garage door and then it's going to curve back out this way into the patio.
The patio is a 15x30 patio Cambridge. Again, it's going to be toffee light three-piece XL. The same product that we did up front. For our subbase, we use crush twos. And then for our leveling process, when we do our screeding, we use 1A. Fabric is literally the most important part of your subbase. It does not allow the stone to settle into the soil over time, and that's what will create failures in your patio of things sinking and everything. So, also, you want to go a good depth. We typically go 10 to 15 in.
You could see all our downspouts. We have tapped in to underground drain pipes. It's going to daylight out into the yard. Again, super important. Andrew is doing a uh little window well out of caps over there. What's up, Poppy?
>> Morning, boy.
>> How are you?
>> Good.
>> So, the existing substructure of the deck is all in good shape. We're probably going to go through check the level. There really should have been uh throttle tubes in that center point and there there's not and we didn't see that until we opened up the deck. That's way too long of a run in my opinion. So, we're going to add some supports in the center, maybe jack it up a little bit, make sure it's perfect. This is going to get redone with trek decking, black aluminum trek railings coming down to the patio. Just a flat good square footage patio area.
Just pulled back up to Chris's job. Had to drop off a couple things. Concrete truck is here doing the uh footing for around the pool panels, so that's good.
Things seem to be continuing to move smoothly so far here. Everything else has been really good today. No issues.
Ivan's fixing. Tree guys are doing their thing. All crews are running good.
Always a good thing. We got to get these guys some of those muck boots.
>> I got him some muck boots from uh Walmart. He's the only one that wanted them. He's the only one that's actually getting in there through it.
>> Looks like we might be running a little low. That sucks.
>> It's all we got left is right there.
[ __ ] >> Chris, what if you take some of it and >> Yeah, that's a little thick in some spots.
>> That's all 11 yards. Yeah, I think it's >> Yeah. I mean, it's thick as [ __ ] You could tell down around through here.
That never happens. We always have extra.
>> Yeah. Louise, you could probably take some of this over here and >> Yeah.
>> bring it around.
>> You jump right in.
I should have got myself some muck boots.
They got it really thick around these panels. So, I mean, 11 yards should be more than enough. I mean, we do the done this plenty of times. So, I just think they put it a little bit too thick. I mean, it's literally only like a 7 ft space, so they're going to steal some of it and get it over. They'll be good.
Things are moving really, really good here. Like really good. All the uh equipment is going on this side of the house and the salt water it's not coronated which be is becoming more and more popular.
Hi, YouTube. Thursday. Boring for you, good for me. It's been a very smooth, pretty easy, quiet week. Things are getting done. Nothing's breaking. We're making money. That's the name of the game. That's how you want it. We'll try to get you entertained in other ways.
Danny's not good right now. He got bit by a tick at his camp over the weekend.
Was fighting a fever basically all week.
Finally went to the hospital. I don't know what the hell's going on with Danny, but he hasn't been in. He's jacked up. Hopefully, he'll be okay.
Ivan is running dangerously low on fruit snacks.
>> No, I'm not.
>> Yeah, you are.
>> I still got two boxes in the office.
>> Okay.
>> Got a full [ __ ] drawer.
>> Two boxes and that's it. Think of all the fruit snacks you've gotten and this is what you're telling me.
>> I have 10 more bags in this drawer.
>> This freaking avant, man.
Ivan's like fixing this thing every week.
>> It's It's one thing after another. Like >> the Bobcat was a broken belt.
>> Y >> um for those of you that are new viewers, please don't judge the space.
We are all about being nice, neat, and organized here at 7ox.
>> So, >> America's favorite bluecollar YouTube channel. How do you feel about that?
that we're gonna that we're America's favorite YouTube blueco collar channel.
>> I like it.
>> You like it?
>> I like it.
>> What do you think, Dom?
>> Pretty cool.
>> It's good.
>> You know, we're really not, but it sounds good.
>> People have said it. I've been reading the comments.
>> I'm trying to use reverse psychology. If I say it enough, it's going to happen to >> I go back to all >> We are. We're like the United Nations here. We got Mexicans, we got Dominicans, we got pocks. What? What are you?
>> [ __ ] German and Irish.
>> German and Irish. And his name is freaking Dominic.
>> What the hell?
>> Not even that much about it.
>> You know, >> we got everything. What's up, Poncho?
Ponjo.
>> What is it? A nail.
>> Yeah.
>> All right. So, David, we're going to start mulching this weekend. Okay. And we're going to do a lot of mulching next weekend when we start. I want to use my truck, my pickup for the mulch blower. We're going to use the the uh hook truck.
Okay. And we're going to um bring the skid steer to every job. Okay. You know how that has the door in the back? So, we could just load it and do it that way.
>> What's up, Ivonne?
>> What's up?
>> How you doing?
Kaza, why are you smiling?
>> You happy? Yeah.
>> You sure?
>> All right. Today we're doing a landscape install, >> putting plants. So, put your trailer, put your dump truck, and I'll come I'll show you the job. Okay. If anybody uh on YouTube is interested, I'm selling my uh my snowmobiles and the snowmobile trailer.
Just don't use it anymore.
We do more of the uh the water sport thing. You know, we got boats and jet skis and stuff like that. So, I actually want to upgrade our jet skis. But four beautiful sleds. We got a Polaris Switchback 600, Polaris uh Rush 800. We got another Rush 800, and another Rush 600. Super wellmaintained. This trailer is like brand new. It's really nice stuff. I I tend to have a hard time letting things go cuz I like everything I uh get like sentimental value on it because I was not a rich kid growing up.
I was a poor kid with good mom and dad.
Everything that I have is all, you know, things I always wanted. I used to go riding all the time. I've live, you know, me and my boys, it was always a fun thing to do. But like I said, I mean, we're we got the camp now, so we're always out on the water doing stuff. I bought two new jet skis in 2024.
We got the Sidu Sparks. It's a big lake that we're on, so the water can get pretty rough. We want to sell those and upgrade. If anybody's interested, send me a message. They're like brand new still. Bacho's got a nail on the tire.
Ivan's got to fix it. What's up, Joel?
>> Hi, baby.
>> How you doing?
>> Subscribe to the channel. Comment below.
Like, tell your friends about it. Tell everybody about seven Zox. A lot of people have been asking a lot of comments and I gotta figure out a way to answer all your comments because I want to answer all your comments. I just don't want to spend a whole damn video, you know, answering comments cuz you guys will get bored probably pretty quick. One of the things that would share with you guys on how I built my business to to what it is with multiple crews. So, as you could see, I have a lot of guys from Mexico and stuff like that that work for me. I started out using the H2B work visa program. And the program that I use, one, it's great because you have a bunch of guys that want to work work hard and come to work every day. Two, it's actually created a lot of jobs for the Americans locally cuz all these guys are, you know, the Americans are in management positions, you know. So, the way I did it is my H2B guys come in as the laborers and then we have Chris in management position. We have Danny in management position, you know, Seth in management position, Isaiah in management position. Breaking, you know, the guys up in each division.
I have managers in each division. They make a great living with the company.
They make sure everything's topnotch, good at all times. And we're going to have to get a lot more into it, but I'm just giving you guys a little bit of what I've done and, you know, how I've done it. The thing that's awesome, Andrew, who started out on the H2B program in 2018, we applied for him to get a permanent green card, got a permanent green card. Now Andrew is running his own hardscape crew. He's been with me for 13 years, running his own crew, dealing with customers. It's amazing what how much this kid is growing with the company. He's got an insanely bright future with us. But you're not going to want to miss out on how I did it because you could do it, too. Nobody taught me anything. If I literally knew 20 years ago, what I know now, holy sh. And there's a lot of great companies out there that have built better companies than me. But you know what? I'm not here to talk about them.
I'm here to talk about me and what I've done and what I've built. I want to share it. That's one of the reasons we do the YouTube channel. What's up?
You got your Oreos? Good.
Do yen?
>> Yes.
All right, you can proceed.
>> What do you think about seven ox?
>> What do I think about it?
>> I don't know. Tell me what you think about it.
>> I still work for you, don't I?
>> Well, you know what? Ivan has literally been around since the beginning. There's nobody better.
>> Tell YouTube a story about the tattoo.
>> Yeah, Ivan was going to get Seven's ass tattooed on his back and then the tattoo artist talked him out of it.
>> No, he didn't talk me out of it. He said to think about it. We just never went back. What about >> I did it because he wouldn't let me wear he >> Dude, that would >> make me wear a college shirt on 100 degree weather. Man, I did not like that [ __ ] >> That would make good content. I think you should still do it. We've been friends for 30 years. If we get 10,000 subscribers by the end of July, >> you'll you'll tattoo sevenzox on you.
>> Sure will.
>> Shake my hand.
>> All right. Yeah.
>> Do you want like a You want like a like a pinky square type shape? Pastor.
>> All right. Subscribe to the channel so I can you can get seven Z tattooed on it.
>> Comment below where you want want me to put it. I'll put it on my ass.
>> I don't want seven Zox on your ass.
All right. Subscribe to the channel.
So, if you're a part of the 69% of our viewers that are not subscribed, that consistently watch our videos, that's a hell of a start to get to 10,000 so Ivan can tattoo sevens on his body. There's no charge. It's just a little bit of your time and effort. Just click a button.
We got Sandy got stuff scheduled. S >> we have uh there's a bunch that just for Danny questions to Dan a revisit estimate for him.
>> There's one that you and Dan are supposed to do today.
>> What is that one right here? I don't know if we have time to meet you there.
>> So, what I would do I mean if if you think that there's a way you could communicate with Danny to help get these help get these uh questions >> I do that too >> answered. All right, Carla, I got to get Yvon going. All right. I'm sure Sandy will come up with some more stuff today, too.
All right. So, we just got to Andrew's job and Forino's job. They are getting ready, everything prepped to uh lay pavers today.
As you can see, they're got their 1/2 in street rails out. 1/8 stone for the leveling. Setting the level. Make sure our pitch is good. Obviously, you always want everything pitched away from the home. They'll get everything all screed out 100% on this patio except the walkway. They'll do this patio first, lay everything out, and then they'll scre the walkway out. Portino will go along, make sure all the street rails are nice and level, and again the pitch that he wants. Then they'll go through, take the 1A stone, get everything all streeted out, start laying pavers. These guys are cruising.
Doing very, very, very, very well. I was just on the phone with Quinn.
>> So to make sure Dominic gets the material here.
>> Yeah, it's on, but Quinn did itself.
>> Yeah.
>> No, if it's sold. I mean, we just going to have Dominic go get >> Yeah, but it's one pallet open. It's around seven. I think it's fine for the car maybe.
>> This is It's five and a half pallets we need. Plus plus the soldier.
>> Plus the soldier. Okay.
>> All right.
>> Yeah. But that is good.
>> No, really good. The m all the material for the deck is ordered. So that's going to be delivered I think on Monday or Tuesday.
>> All right. Perfect. Let me know if you need anything. All right.
Heat.
Heat.
We're over here at Chris's job starting to lay pavers on the first portion of of the patio. My pool stuff is still being done. They got our strings string line ran to make sure we're staying square to the house. Patio staying square. This is Onyx natural three-piece XL smooth. When I was said earlier at Andrew's job, how we don't want to lay four corners. So, we never want to have four corners.
Basically, if you were to take this and slide it over here, you never want to see that. You always want to see breaks in your lines. Chris, what is typical for you guys? You never want to see like a straight line ran what? More than 3 ft.
>> Yeah. More than three or four.
>> Yeah. So, >> Yep. So, this run here, this straight line here is probably as big as you want it to get. The border here is 4 1/2 by 9 Onyx natural smooth. They'll get this laid out really, really quick. You could see that they scre it out like Andrew is doing.
Omar here does this all the time. So, he's got a really good system. He'll go through. You can see we got both of our downspouts connected underground pipe. That's one thing we are so big on. And any of you guys out there that are starting up or doing it, you know, hardcape, water controls everything. It doesn't matter how deep your stone base is. It doesn't matter how much fabric you put down or whatever. If you're not controlling and diverting the water away from your structure, it's it's going to make your structure fail. One thing I always talk about, and I just want to show you consistency.
Concrete base underneath the walkway.
You can see a 4-in pour. So, it's a 4-in base or a footing of concrete on top of our stone base. This whole thing's got to get built up quite a bit. Obviously, excavating for the pool and stuff like that. I think our final elevation >> red mark >> is this red mark right here. So, that's our final elevation for the finished pavers.
So, where they're laying pavers right now, this is all level straight through.
We're going to be at a little bit of a stand still on the pool because again, this pool has an auto cover. They got to come in. It's installed in two phases.
We do not install the auto cover. We won't finish the concrete inside the pool until a couple days before we put the liner in. But, we're going to get everything back filled today. By the end of the day, Monday, this yard will look drastically different. For the uh saw, we use the IQ. It's been really good. I mean, we got it probably we have three of them. We have one on each crew, then one as a backup. Every year, we're replacing some types of part on it. It's really important after every use to take your blower and blow the electric motor down. There's uh grommets in there that go bad. You got to keep them clean. As you can see, the way these guys will typically do it is Omar will focus on laying down the patio. Luis looks like he's going to be doing all the cuts. So, Luis will solely focus on filling in all the areas that need cuts. These two will work on laying out the patio. They'll couple hours this thing will be completely laid out and done to perfection. That's one thing we drill into these guys over the years.
Everything has got to be perfect. 100% of the time, even if it means going back, having to take some things apart, redoing it. All right, so we're heading out of Chris's job. All the crews are up and going. Everything's running good.
Isaiah is calling me. Let's see what this is about. Hello.
>> We're over here at this first job. It's really windy. Rel's no good.
>> All right. Um, give me a couple minutes.
Let me look at the weather and I'll call you right back. All right.
>> Every time I say things are going smooth, good this week. It's always on a freaking Thursday. It's really windy out. We knew it was windy. We knew there was a chance it could mess with the tree schedule. That's what that call is about. I'm going to look at the hourby hour, see what he what we're going to do on that end of things. But Ivon's up and going. Chris is up and going. Andrew's up and going. All the crews are out doing their thing, which is good. I got a few stops I got to make. Go check at the office at some point. Subscribe to the channel. Stay tuned. You're not going to want to miss it. You're not going to want to miss this backyard.
You're not going to want to miss Andrew's job. You're not going to want to miss anything. So, give you guys a little bit of an update. We have tornado warnings in our area right now. Most of the schedule tree work for today has been cancelled. Isaiah is currently out doing some emergency stuff that we've gotten for calls coming in for down limbs and stuff like that. So, the guys are still out, still making money, which is good, but we're going to have to reschedule some jobs because of the wind. It's not turning out to be a loss of the day on the tree crew, which is always a positive thing cuz we do this to make money.
So, we just made a quick stop at my cousin Anony's pizza place. Anony's by Romos. I made the pizza.
I had two slices. 9.5. If you want to watch, go on ouruh Facebook and Instagram. World's greatest landscaper here with the world's greatest pizza maker. I'm going to make a pizza at some point. I'm sending him out to do some landscape work. See what we got.
>> Clearly works with his hands.
>> Yeah. Yeah. We're going to go back to the yard, put some fruit snacks on it, give it to Ivan.
You want a slice?
>> Sure.
>> See how much this kid really likes fruit.
>> He's probably going to eat it.
>> Yeah, he should eat it.
I'll bring uh couple I'll bring the rest in for you and my dad.
>> Sure.
>> Here, take that.
All right, Ivan.
Here we go.
>> I made you lunch, pal.
>> Is it really?
>> I did literally like I made this. I was just at Anthony.
Have you eaten lunch yet?
>> No, I haven't.
>> Perfect.
I made this pizza by myself. Two of the slices special for my friend Ivan.
>> I think you're full of [ __ ] >> No, you actually did make that.
>> I did.
>> Don't.
You're losing your fruit snacks, buddy.
There you go. Score it.
>> 10 out of 10.
>> 10 out of 10, baby. That's what I'm talking about.
>> There's another one. Ivan, I think that this is the perfect way to end our YouTube video for this week. Ivan got a 10 out of 10 fruit snack video. Remember that, YouTube. If we get 10,000 subs by the end of July, our friend Ivan is going to tattoo seven Zox on them right here. But I only want you to subscribe if you truly love our channel and like the content that we're putting out. I want real bluecollar badass fans.
Comment below where our friend Ivan >> I'm thinking left ass cheek.
>> America's greatest mechanic should get this tattoo. Subscribe to the channel and remember, America's favorite bluecollar YouTube channel. See you guys later.
