Whitchurch Canal Breach Update, Embankment Removal Starts Again!Added:
Hello everyone. We're back down at the brereech again today and everything is just about kicking off. So once again, we're down here real nice and early.
You'll see the little excavator on the Oh, actually, no, that isn't the little excavator. It's just further away. Um, so the second big excavator uh is still around the large spoil pile and it's looking very uh very tidy at the minute.
And as you can tell, possibly uh more interestingly for me at least, uh the other one is making his way onto the breach now. So, let's have a look at what bucket he's got on. So, interesting. I think that's the uh the grading bucket. Now, I can't really remember what they used when they were digging out the brereech, but it's hard to remember in all honesty whether he will Oh, has he changed his mind? But either way, I can show you. Uh we'll see figures out what he wants to do, what is going on, or what has gone on uh over where we saw the work going on yesterday.
So, it's got personnel fencing around it now. And of course, by the look of it, it's all very neatly bunded in a way that all of that water uh is now making its way into that little uh little sump, which is, you know, exactly what we thought would happen in a way. Um it's great to see. Now, I'll show you in a second exactly where that's all going, but really just notice all that grass that's growing in the uh in the bottom of the canal. First time noticing that in all honest. Either way, I'll go and show you how it's all looking. You'll see one person there. Uh just double check and everything. Oh, there's a few actually.
But uh we'll have a look at how that uh is affecting the uh the old drain as well. See if there's absolutely any water coming down or not.
And the answer is no. So, great work on that side of things. And uh really nice to uh know that's been done now. So, I'll show you exactly what that means.
Now, we were thinking this might be the case for a fair while, but all of this field now will be allowed to dry and I'm guessing the next steps um I doubt today uh but certainly in the next few days um this will be uh allowed to dry it out. Now, of course, it is a bank holiday weekend again uh here in the UK, so they've got a good three days of all this being allowed to dry. Now, they've timed it absolutely beautifully uh in that it's going to be the hottest days of the year over these three days now. So, uh yeah, it's been uh absolutely ideal for that.
No, don't get me wrong. It is still very water logged and I think even with that nice weather, it won't be perfectly dried out, but certainly better than it would have been if it was uh raining.
We'll have a look at all this now. Now, I always get comments about uh people saying that it's filling up with silt, and it certainly is, but I don't think it's uh as bad as it comes across on camera, let's say. Um I think it's very minimal and I think as much silt at the minute anyway you can see with the sides um as much silt that's entering currently is also being eroded away. Now it might just be the case that is eroding away further into the culvert.
That wouldn't be ideal but uh yeah I'm sure they've I'm sure they know what's going on. I'll just say that. Now, we'll go and have a closer look at uh everything on how they've set this all up. Now, the new pump in the sump, nice little rhyme there, um of course is still connected to those two uh pump boats. So, it will be the case um where when they have to refuel that um it'll still fill up, but thankfully I doubt that'll be this weekend, which is what I'd imagine is most important. Now, you'll see that uh there's plenty of water coming in, especially since this is one of the pumps from the uh top side. So, half of the pump in from that side, but of course, a lot more efficient when it's done this way. So, it'll uh have absolutely no problem keeping up with all that. And uh yeah, just the way they've done it is is really impressive. Now, you'll see that there's no other avenues of water making its way into any other area, which is brilliant. So, you'll see that there are little pockets of standing water just where that water hasn't got anywhere else to go. Uh but it's certainly not filling up from there, and it's not filling up the dried out field from that. Now, real quick before we get into it, I've got a feeling it's going to be another long day judging by what's happening right there. Uh, but if you haven't subscribed already, really, really would appreciate if you did. Uh, it would certainly helps me out massively and it keeps you guys updated on these types of videos. And, uh, once the breaches all sorted, um, there will be plenty of other videos to watch. I've got a lot of plans with, uh, other canal works and non- cananal works. So, uh, yeah, I'm looking forward to filming all that. Either way, I'll get out of his way really quick, and we'll see exactly what he does.
Now, I'm hoping today's video isn't going to be quite as long as yesterday's. Um, but we'll we'll make do. Now, I have got all of my batteries now, and they're all working beautifully. So, if it's a a real busy day, we will be able to capture it all.
Now, where's he going to go with this?
I thought for a second that he was going to uh try and pick up that fence, then I would have been impressed.
What is going on here?
Well, this is interesting.
How strange. I wasn't expecting this this morning. I'll be honest with you.
Like I say, it's it's real early.
Currently the only droner down here. And uh yeah, interesting. Now, exactly how far they're going to go with this or whether they're preparing to uh remove them pilings, who's to say, but certainly excited to find out. And once they have a bit of a chat, I'll let them crack on. When he starts the work again, I'll bring you right back. Now, they're back digging. But Terry just noticed something quite interesting, which I don't know how I didn't see it, but there's this little thing and can't quite tell what it is. Almost looks like maybe a spotlight or a camera or something. But obviously solar powered as you can see there. But both the uh track dumpers now making their way over. So I do believe there's going to be a lot of work going on this side today. Now, I will have a good look at that work in a second. I'm just going to try and figure out exactly what this uh what this scaffolding thing is.
And I've gone into my super slow mode now just for some very careful flying.
So, let's have a look if we can see anything. Now, I know that uh Cellwood were on site very late yesterday, so maybe it's something to do with them, but looks more like a camera than anything else.
How odd. How odd. Um yeah, I'll do my best to find out for you, but uh yeah, strange one.
Now, let's go and have a look this way.
I am uh excited to see just how much work they're able to do today, especially with it being a Friday. You know, you recent times anyway, it seems to be that uh Fridays tend to be the busiest day.
Um which is obviously the total opposite of what you'd really expect, but certainly nice to see.
So come back out of that and have a look. So he's going slightly further back there, but uh yeah, real good work that these guys are doing, of course. And uh yeah, I just don't exactly know what they're up to in a way.
Now, usually you've got some idea, but they're not taking the whole bank. They just seem to be taking very top layer off at the minute.
Don't quite know how much room is left in that track dumper, but they will make do.
Now, of course, there you need a banksman at all times. So, that's what that guy is doing. Standing there just double checking everything's okay and that he's not digging into something he shouldn't be. As you can imagine, on the back side of that bucket, and sometimes on the front side, if it drops down a bit, you can't see what you're doing.
So, they always need that banksman there just to uh double check.
Now, of course, I'll get out of his way.
Don't want to be flying directly over anyone, but you'll see here that the uh next track dumper is ready to uh pick up the next load.
So, yeah, something does tell me it'll be a nice busy day, which is uh certainly what we're all here for.
I do need to get my little spot on the wall at some point. It's going to be a long day standing up now. It's got to be done.
Admittedly, I'm a little bit far away, but we'll make do.
Hey, there's me.
And once again, thank you to everyone that waves back.
So, it's a bit of a a battle with the light this morning. Um, those trees are in the most ideal filming location. Um, but yeah, it's just unusual that uh we get work going on quite this early on.
And you'll see there the the control of that arm just barely scraping next to those pilings.
That is impressive. There's no arguing how impressive that is.
Awesome. Now, I am hoping that uh well, I don't really know. Um now, my guess, they're not really worth a lot, admittedly, but uh yeah, how far they're actually going to do this work up to, who's to say. Now, I think the best guess at the minute would be how far they've trimmed this one bank to. So you can see that uh when the tree surgeons were all here, they've gone right up to there, which lines up quite well uh or perfectly with that fence. So I believe past that fence line uh is a different land owner and then this side of the fence is the same that we've been uh used to. So that would make sense and yeah, I I'm pretty confident with that.
I am pretty confident with that. But usually when I say I'm pretty confident tends to be the opposite. So you'll see there the guy digging a bit by hand. So I won't film too much of that. Uh but I'll bring you back when uh the big machines get fired up again. So before we go back to the work, it's always nice to see that uh one of the local higher boats is back on the water and someone's able to enjoy the canal and uh hopefully enjoy their holiday if they are on one, which I'm sure they are. So let's go and have a look at the work. You might be able to hear in the background that uh there is a bit of cutting going away or happening. I don't know why I said going away there, but hey, we'll make do. I found my nice little safe spot just above this tree that gives us the best light. So, let's have a look.
Now, I don't know where that cutting is happening.
Oh, you see there that they're just starting to remove that piling now. So, awesome work and uh yeah, certainly needs to be done. Now, it will be quite an exciting tell uh just how far they go along with this actually cuz I'm pretty, like I say, I'm pretty confident with my guess uh that they're going up to that um security fencing.
But, uh yeah, I don't actually have any idea really. You'll see there as well the sandbags being thrown into the cut.
just get them off this uh bit that they're removing now. Yeah. Needs everything well. They won't want to contaminate uh the soil with litter and things like that or anything of that kind. So yeah, nice and ideal. And once again, see there a little tiny fire actually. Now you will get that with this type of cutting obviously. You can see there that there's loads of sparks on the go.
Now, it looks like quite a tough material actually, which doesn't surprise me too much.
Just having a double check there, but I'll leave him to it for a second and we'll see where this guy's going.
Oh, I thought he was throwing them into the canal. He's not. He's throwing it into the uh the bucket of the excavator.
Fair play. That can't be light.
Certainly wouldn't be easy to throw a sandbag that far. might not look far on the drone, of course, but uh yeah, it's certainly not not easy work now. I can't imagine them going further from the fence looking at it. I forgot they've got that little uh that little kissing gate uh just the other side of it. Ah, and they might they might take that out. Who's to say?
Only a few more to go thankfully.
And then we'll see how this guy's getting on with this. Yeah, certainly got that first piece off. So, yeah, it's busy morning down here. You could certainly get used to this this and yesterday, you know, big fan of that.
Certainly a big fan of that. You got the one track dumper waiting there and the other one waiting there. So, they're all ready for a big morning's work. Now, I'm just going to have a look, double check that nothing's going on over here. Make sure I'm not missing anything. We're all good. So, we'll go back and have a quick look. Now, I am to the bottom of my first battery, but it's all right because I've got plenty more.
But, uh I will come back down and land in a second. Uh just to I'm excited to see where these are taken. Actually, whether they'll just whack them in the back of the track dumper and they'll get dumped somewhere else, we'll have to wait and see.
Now you got the banksman there also just making sure he's not hitting too many trees, things like that. You know, the the banksmen have got well, it's quite a tough job considering, you know, you might think, oh, they're just standing around, but uh no, they've got a lot of responsibility. Uh it's entirely in their hands making sure that nothing bad happens in a way. So you'll see there that that empty track dumper just waiting for those sandbags sorted. Now we've got to hope that these don't fall out of the back. We've seen that uh with the gradient of the brereech material uh toward the uh bridge side. It's quite uphill. We saw yesterday especially that uh some of those or some of the material they were digging out was uh fallen out the back unfortunately. But either way, I'm sure they'll uh they'll make.
Now I am at the bottom of the battery.
So I'll come and change me battery and then uh when there's a bit more progress, I'll bring you right back. But real quick, actually, I thought he was going to uh get rid of that piling then. But thankfully, I don't think it'll be too long until that happens. But it certainly makes >> aircraft will return to the home point in 10 seconds.
>> It certainly makes sense why they uh did that work yesterday. Uh you know, readiness for all this. Exciting.
So, they've started digging once again.
You'll see the guy doing the cutting of the piling in the background as well.
He's cracking on nicely. And it's only been a couple minutes since I did my last video. So, I'm uh really impressed by today's work. You know, they've got everyone firing on all cylinders, which is certainly what we like to see.
I'm just going to go up a little bit further. Just get out the way of that tree. Not because I was close to it, but you got to bear in mind it is nesting season and everything like that. So, if there's a little blue tit or something in there, the last thing I want to do is uh be flying 5 m above his house.
Now, I think that uh it will certainly be the case where the guy doing the cutting uh will get to the end mark first and uh I think that'll certainly be the biggest clue um as to where they're up to. Now, no cheating, but give me your guesses on uh how far you think you they're going to get today, or not even today, but how far the rebuild uh will go to. whether you think uh you're on my side with the fence idea or they're not going to get quite that far or who knows, they might even go all the way to the coffer dam. So, like I say, no cheating, no skipping to the end of the video. Um that that wouldn't be fair on me.
Now, you'll see as well, he's just having a double check of everything in the background there.
That looks like a a different piece that he's just having a look at there. So, it's certainly a bit more confusing, but either way, I'm just going to have a quick look on how far they're actually going here. I'm surprised I can't see that through the hedge in a way.
Now, I'm still not sure exactly why they're only taking the top layer off, but saying that, I do remember that uh the first time they did that, I'm pretty sure they did the same. Um so whether they're doing this then removing the piling and then doing the uh the bulk removal, that would certainly make sense. But uh I'll quickly show you once again the fire extinguisher there.
But the old track dumper is off.
Awesome piece of kit.
So, one thing I was curious about was that mat. And uh yeah, they're certainly making quick work of getting rid of that. I'm just going to have another quick look around. Just make sure there's no little drones or anything. Uh the little uh Neo drone that was being a bit of a nuisance. Uh we actually haven't seen it in a while, so I'm hoping they're all right. But uh yeah, it's certainly been a bit more peaceful not having a a little drone flying about everywhere. But uh hey, we'll make do now. It's probably only a good 6 to 8 in of material they're taking off there. Uh but certainly my guess that uh they're doing this before uh removing all that piling. So like I say, I think it's going to be a nice exciting day. There's another boat going behind us. It is busy down here with boats today, which is always nice to say. Now, admittedly, the canal itself is is a bit busier than I thought it might be considering. Uh, you know, I would have thought that the brereech would have a a bigger impact uh on the tourism side, but at the same time, it's drawn a lot of people in. Uh, you can imagine being down here all day, you see a lot of people that come down to uh have a look. And got to say, I respect it. Certainly do. It's uh very interesting down here and for the most part there's always a lot of work going on and uh if you're into this kind of thing then it's a good place to be. It certainly is.
Now I had a comment on yesterday's video as well um cuz I was talking about how I thought that there'd be a a clay liner.
Now I can't remember what the name would was called. I think it was I think it was pudding or something. No, that doesn't sound right. not tasted. Uh but yeah, just saying that the bottom of the canal would have been uh lined with clay. Same with the sides, of course. Uh just making it waterproof, pretty much.
I can hear a drone, but I can't see one.
But it'll be all right.
Now, whilst these boys crack on with this, I'll leave you to it for a second.
Save me battery. And uh I'll come back when they uh crack on a bit more. Now, thankfully, I've just been uh corrected because I was feeling a bit silly after my pudding comment. Uh but it's puddling. Certainly makes a lot more sense than uh than pudding does, but uh yeah, glad to know that. And apparently uh the clay that was dug out of Wixle Marina was used in that process a lot around these canals. So, very interesting to know. And uh yeah, it all makes a lot more sense than pudding.
Now, I've just seen this as well, or Terry pointed it out to me. And this is a rare treat around these parts. So, that is a red kite. And uh yeah, certainly a treat. Now, I have actually been um attacked in my old drone by one of these. So, I will steer very much clear, but yeah, it's very cool. I was on the uh the little drone then, so potentially a much easier target for him.
But yeah, the uh the old red kite certainly not uh too common around here, certain parts of the world, certain parts of the world, certain parts of the UK. Uh they are everywhere, but uh you don't get too many, but in recent years um we have been seeing more and more.
It's probably just a case of uh actually being outside a bit more as well, but uh will certainly help with that.
Now, that is a nice shot actually. It certainly is.
You'll see the houses. I believe that's Pear Tree Lane in that direction.
But yeah, what a treat and such a cool bird. Really is.
I'm trying to get a a bit better light.
Just allowing that sun to light him up a bit nicer.
Yeah. What what a morning treat for a Friday, I will say. And don't worry if you're not too big into birds, then I'll only do this for a few more seconds. But I'm certainly enjoying myself here.
Now, you'll see there the kited tail as well. That's the uh the biggest giveaway of a red kite.
That is awesome.
Wow.
After that bird excitement, I had to uh show Terry that cool footage cuz uh he was the one that spotted it. So yeah, thank you to Terry for that. Absolutely awesome. But you'll just see that they're removing some more metal work now. And I'd imagine you can see there the newer parts of it. It looks nice and shiny. Uh I'm guessing they're attached a bit more securely than the rest of it.
So possibly a bit more of a headache, but either way, these boys will uh make do, no doubt. And I think we've got a little bit time before uh we get to the final mark. Now I am in a way confused um why the tree surgeons removed so much stuff on the left hand side uh but not as much on the right but I mean it was the same uh with the bit they've dug here. I'll tell you what. Sorry about the dodgy zoom in there. And they just dug it out. So yeah, that makes sense.
And uh I'm guessing they'll do the same again cuz there's no big shrubs, you know, there's nothing uh that'll stop that excavator. At least they are once again back to digging. We'll go and have a close look where they're up to. So, they're probably halfway up to the fence now. So, it's real quick work. I'll quickly check the time for you. The time now is 9:00. So, as you can tell, a lot has gone on in a very short amount of time to say the least. Now, it looks like they're just going to uh pick up that mat there with the excavator. So whilst they do that, I'm just going to have a very quick look to see what else is happening over the other side of site. So this is the new spoil pile from all of this material that they're making. Now the one on the left hand side, I believe that was the material from the bottom of the canal. It's quite easy to tell the difference. It's a lot darker. And then the uh stuff on the right hand side is the stuff from here.
Now the uh track dump has just been given the beep of okay, I'm happy for you to go.
And you'll see there that the excavator's moving along slightly, too.
Yeah, he's uh with this material not being nearly as sloppy as the other stuff yesterday. Uh I don't think it's going to have much problem at all with uh falling out thankfully, but we'll we'll track it just to be sure. So that's the highest point there. And absolutely no problem at all, which is ideal.
So we'll go and have a look exactly what he's up to here. Oh, it's just putting that mat down there. Once again, back to digging. And I can't tell. Let's have a look.
So you'll see two shovels ready for use on the right hand side there, too. But no, they're just cracking on.
Now, I can't remember if I've said, but I'll say it again just in case. Um, a massive thank you once again to everyone that's been supporting on buying me a coffee and uh through Super Thanks. I do appreciate it massively. So, thank you very much for that.
And also just thank you to everyone that comments. I uh I've said this a few times as well, but for anyone that is relatively new here, uh I do read all the comments. I just simply don't have time uh to get back to a lot of them, which I I do apologize for. I certainly wish I had the time to uh get back to them all, but uh unfortunately between uh two other jobs uh buying a house and everything like that, I just don't have a lot of time at the minute, but I am trying my best, rest assured.
But I do read them all. I certainly do read them all, even the uh the funny ones. That actually that brings me to a point. Um, I did this a couple days ago, uh, where someone mentioned that they were going to buy a track dumper to try and attract the ladies, which I thought was a brilliant comment, so I pinned it.
And, uh, I do feel that, uh, any particularly good comments uh, per video. If there's one that really stands out for being amusing, then uh, I think I'll do a new thing where I pin the funny comment. I think that would be good.
Now I'll just have a quick look. You see the reach on that excavator is really impressive.
Just removing that very top layer of vegetation there.
Awesome.
But this is certainly the work we've been uh really after. And I'd imagine it'll be the same at some point on the uh other side. Uh maybe it'll be the case where they'll completely do this side first and then do the other side.
That would be what I'd guess. Um if I'm remembering rightly, that's what they did last time as well. Now, it'd be nice if I could uh get a nice thumbnail actually, so I'll try my best.
Now, of course, I've got to be as respectful as I possibly can be of the workers and uh certainly always safe as I can be, too. So, I won't get too close to anyone here. If anything, it might be a little easier to do later on, but I'll try my best either way. So, if I go down here now, I've still got a great line of sight in me drone, but that is the shot I'm after.
So, especially as he gets his arm out there.
There we go. So, that is thumbnail material right there for sure.
Like I say, I think it'll be a little easier later on uh when the lights on our side a bit more, but I'll certainly make do with that.
Now, I can't tell if I can hear something toward the compound or not.
But awesome. Either way, I'll let them crack on a bit more once again and I'll bring you back. So, I'd imagine they're on at least one of the last bucket fulls of this uh track dumper.
So, because I'm at the end of this next battery, uh what I'll do is I'll get this last bit of work and then I'll come back and swap batteries once again. So, certainly a big help uh having these extra batteries. So, once again, a massive thank you to everyone that has supported the channel. I'm only able to do this because of you guys. And uh yeah, I don't know how I did it back in the day with only three. I mean, I'd have one left and it's 9:00, you know, how you I must have been uh a lot more careful. But you see there that he's just taken that uh little concrete chunk and he's given him the beep there just because they'll have to do that separately.
And there he goes.
So, I'll uh come back, change me battery, and uh I'll give it a little while before I film anymore, just so they can crack on a little bit more.
Everyone's back off their brake now, which is ideal. The excavator's just made its way back up to this side, and I'm guessing he's waiting for the uh guys in the track dumpers. Now, you can tell that uh the light is a lot nicer now. So, I think the uh filming side of things will look a lot better now. The uh the morning sun is on our side. So, I'm excited for all this work that's about to carry on. So, we'll have a quick look of just everyone's location at the minute and see most importantly for me where the track dumpers are up to. You'll see that uh everyone's still coming off their break. So, I'll uh I'll come and land and then uh I'll go back up in uh 5 or 10 minutes. So, they are back to removing all of that banking material. And uh it didn't take them too long after the break to get all fired up again, thankfully. Now, I do wonder exactly what they're going to do here. Um you'll see that Oh, there you go. So, you can see there that uh there was that little bit of metal connecting that uh concrete section. I don't think that's a moing.
uh doesn't look like it unless they've already got rid of the uh mooring ring, which I think they might have done actually. So, I think that is a moing.
But either way, we'll uh carry on watching exactly what these guys are up to. Now, I'm going to go a little bit further this way since that light is a bit nicer and just get a bit of a lower angle. Now, of course, I've got to be very careful. I can see that no one's underneath me at the minute, though, which is ideal.
There we go. That's certainly the uh the shot I'm after.
Now, it does help that uh where I'm flying from is such an easy line of sight.
Now, I'm just going to keep my ear out for any other track dumpers coming along, of course, as well.
But yeah, that's a a really cool angle right there. Just getting a nice idea of how far up they are at the minute and uh also how much work is really at hand here. Just going to make sure I'm recording. I certainly am.
But yeah, I'm happy with that. I'll go back up to my other spot. It's nice and out of the way of everyone.
And there you go.
Now, with today being such a long day again, uh it's the video is not over just yet. Don't you worry. Uh but I will split this video into two, which is usually what I like. If um if Fridays are going to be a real busy day, then I'll uh split today's video into two and I'll post the rest tomorrow. Gives me something to watch on a Saturday morning as well.
Little beep of uh rule done.
And he's off a blistering pace of up to six miles an hour, which to be fair, it looks faster. It does look faster. Now I'll move out of this guy's way. I'm not over the top of him. It's hard to tell sometimes, but I am very much zoomed in.
There we go.
Now you'll see there my new my new spot above the tree. That way I know I'm never above anyone. Nice and ideal.
So I'll follow this guy actually just to see uh how big the new spoil pile is too.
Now you'll see that the site is gradually getting busier. The larger excavator just firing up in the background as well.
Well, the other large excavator got it's going to take some getting used to.
So, I'm get like that's boil pile.
Fair play. That is the neatest job I've seen across site. It is impressive. That is a fair amount of work. Now, it's not just for show. Obviously, you've got to tamp down those sides just so the uh the wall has no chance of collapsing or anything like that, especially with this sandy material. Um, you know, that's the last thing you'd want to happen.
So, I'm guessing he's going to the right pile. He'll go close to it. And then, of course, the coolest trick with this new track dumper. There we go. So, that is awesome. Now, not actually the biggest pile really uh considering how much work they have done this morning, but it's probably a bit deceiving as well. It always looks small on the drone, but uh yeah, hopefully that gives you an idea on just how massive that one is. I mean, the amount of soil and sand in that is is really incredible.
Now, I'm hoping uh that tomorrow I can do a video a little bit closer.
Dave trying to catch me off guard there.
Um, yeah, do a bit of a closer video and uh hopefully get some uh some measurements so we can tell how much material is in that large spoil pile.
I'm going to have another look over here towards the excavator. Now Dave's timed it perfectly with this work now.
Carrying on, but uh I'll bring you back when he starts up again. And the track dumper is back once again. Just allowing this work to continue. Now, once again, the thing I'm most excited to see uh with today's work is just how far they actually go with this. I think that'll be the uh the biggest tell for sure on uh the extent of the work ahead. Now, I'm guessing um I had a comment yesterday uh asking if the concrete would be poured or sprayed. Now, I'm guessing poured. So, you can imagine they'll uh get a mold uh through lack of a better term. um you know all the shuttering and all that and then they'll uh they'll pour the concrete. I don't think uh the spraying concrete like you see with the with swimming pools and stuff. I don't think that'll uh that'll suffice, but I'd certainly be interested to see that as well. So, I'll be happy either way. So, they are off again and they are getting really close to that fence line now. So, I'm certainly guessing that uh well, it's certainly past this point that they're going up to now. Yeah, it's a tough one. I'd certainly guess they're not going to remove the fence. I think if that was the case um that uh that was going to be the case, then they would have taken down that fence and just moved it further along before they even started this work. That certainly be my guess anyway.
Early Burns making an appearance.
But uh yeah, really awesome work to film and I'm uh well, I'm thankful as well uh that they've got the new track dumpers cuz this work would have taken twice as long uh if not more if it was just the old track dumper setup. Uh I don't think they'd get the wheel dumper in here in all honesty uh with the traction issues.
You can see uh the excavators tracks are well in there and very very muddy.
All clay clayy. Well, you know what I mean.
And there we go. So, of course, um it won't be the usual videos on Monday, uh with it being uh bank holiday, unfortunately. Uh so yeah, don't expect a full witch breach video on Monday, unfortunately. Um which is quite sad. It is quite sad. I was looking forward to uh having a a full week down here of nice weather and uh breach works. But yeah, not the case unfortunately. But we'll make do. We'll make do. It's still meant to be nice the rest of that week.
So it's getting right down to the other side once again and just removing all that vegetation. Now thankfully it's not a lot and in that area it is just weeds for the most part. So nothing to worry about. Now with uh the video already being quite long and uh today's video going to be terribly long. I'm going to end today's video here unfortunately. Uh but I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone that's watched the video especially got this far in. really do appreciate it. Hope you all have a wonderful bank holiday weekend and uh like I say, you'll see the rest of the work from today in tomorrow's video and uh certainly excited for that one as well. Now, like I say, hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Take care of yourselves and uh hopefully I'll see you tomorrow.
