Hey guys, welcome. Before we start the Star Citizen science in this video, I want to ask all of you who were completely Sherlock before, have you guys been freed as well? In the most recent communication from CG today, especially in this post, they said, "We have cleared all accounts experiencing a Sherlock or 60K era." They also said, "If the issue still persists for you, please send us a ticket and we will have a look ASAP." And throughout the day, I have seen mixed reports because some player says still Sherlock can't get in.
But some players say it worked. For example, this one. Please ensure the team documents and captures the fix and then empowers the frontline tax support team so they can unstuck player characters from dead shards in the future. So I think the reason that a lot of players are shlocked is because of the dead shard. Somehow it happened. But for a lot of cases, especially in my case, it is because of a bad lock on my ship. So, I do caution everyone from bad logging unless you really have to because badlog to my experience has always been buggy throughout the years.
So, if you can avoid bad logging, avoid bad logging for the time being until the game gets more stable and server performance gets better. Personally, I will still be keeping an eye on this issue because even though I appreciate that C sent someone to help me to resolve this issue today through Discord, but maybe as many viewers said, maybe it is because of my videos.
However, I really don't want to receive any kind of a special treatment just because of my videos and the channels. I just want to be a common player, play the game, share my joy, share my love, and speak my heart. But if many other players are still suffering from this bottom line problem, I'd rather suffer with them until we get a totally satisfactory solution because we must move away from this. 14 years now and we are still struggling whether we can log in and play the game or not. This is getting a bit ridiculous. This has to be the very bottom line that we almost never felt below it. Right? So I hope whatever solution they use to free some of our accounts can be used to everyone else from now on. Whenever there is a ticket like this, these accounts can be freed in a day or two. We must move away and move above this to really tackle the current game bugs. Work out current issues related to ships, features, missions, especially server performances and game stabilities. and my standing still holds and I urge everyone to do the same until they make this game more playable and server more stable and ships more flyable before then my wallet is mostly closed but through my videos I will keep doing my best to help you the viewers and hopefully the developer to recognize the current bugs and problems.
I also just created a channel in our discord for our organ members to post the bugs and issues they've encountered during their gameplay so that I will find time to check them out one by one test them and record them in a video so that viewers and developers can see exactly what is happening and I will also try to attach the issue console report with those bugs if I can find them and I will try to do that in a regular basis but guess what I've got just the one thing in this video. I know this is totally a bug and they probably will fix it right away before anything else, but I really hope it's a feature.
Now, before we start, I also want to do a quick updates for what is happening in Star Citizen this week to get you guests prepared. First of all, we are going to have a complete server maintenance starting tomorrow morning. US time, Pacific time is uh 1:15 a.m., but UTC is 8:15. So June 2nd, check with your own time zone. And this server maintenance will impact all RSI website services, including the pledge store. It's going to be down all gameplay systems, the PU, the Arena Commander, as well as the launcher operations, including the issue console. I believe the RSI website services also include Spectrum as well.
So this is a complete maintenance for pretty much everything. But this maintenance is not expected to exceed 4 hours. During this time, website spectrum, yeah, spectrum included the game launcher and the issue console will be unavailable. Very good thing. I really hope this server maintenance can fix many of our problems. If not, then I hope the server maintenance could be sort of a regular thing. If not every single week, maybe every other week or at least once a month. something that can really help to improve the server performance and player experience and playability of the game. Second thing very important, we are also targeting a live service maintenance window on Wednesday, June 3rd to deploy alpha 4.8.1.
This update currently includes more than 30 fixes and additions. Wow, 30 fixes.
I'm not sure it's a good thing or a bad thing, which means there's really, really a lot of stuff to get fixed. Now, with more to follow, keep an eye on Spectrum for more information soon. And as we all have expected, hopefully these 30 fixes includes the ironclad fix because I've heard rumors that that they're adding the pilot seat inside the operation room. I just don't know when that's going to become a thing. Now, some people are asking, "What about Alien Week?" Alien week is going to be alpha 4.8.2 most likely which is going probably be next week or next next week.
Usually alien week starts mid June. So this is the beginning of June. So at most two weeks we're going to have alien week and two or three weeks after alien week we will have the alpha 4.8.3 comes with it will be the climax of this patch 4.8 which is xeno thread invent. And after that, we probably will enter into the PTU cycle for 4.9. Hopefully, the dark time of 4.8 is over. Starting from 4.8.1, our player experience and stability can have a steady improvement.
Now, on Tuesday, not only we are going to have a server maintenance, we'll also have our subscriber come link and subscriber newsletter. Wednesday, alpha 4.8.1, 8.1, but we'll also have a road map update and road map roundup, also a PU monthly report. Looking forward to see what's coming in 4.9. So, that's the important news. All right, let's try again. So, I had to look al again. This time is inside the turret. So, oh, it actually works. So, someone else can do this for you. So, this is my ship and Luke just uh Ala fort, but you do have to go into the turret view, not just uh sitting on the seat. So, enter remote turret and then go into the turret view and then out for right here. Okay, Luke is going to alter four right now inside the turret view for. So now let's try it. Well, Luke is uh reloading.

So we have to wait for Luke to log back in. Okay, he just uh loaded back in. Now get out of the pilot seat. Let's try this time.

So how do we use this? Okay, we can either fire staggered mode or combined mode.

Okay, so this is a manual gimbal. Yeah, you can fire gimbbled for those guns.
You can see the bullets going where my crosshair is aiming at. So, oh yes, the gun is rotating to a certain degree with gimbal. Wow.
Okay, let's uh slave the rest of the turret. I don't need to get out of the pilot seat. I just going to have Luke sit on the turrets alter four and come back. Okay, he just loaded back. Get out of the pilot seat. And now fire. Oh yes.

And now all the four guns are slaved to the pilot including the laser. This is insane amount of firepower the pilot can control. Wow. This is going to be a feature, right?
