[00:00:00]Welcome to a new week. We have a lot of sales to go over. Not many from the weekend. I only had four sales this weekend. One on Saturday the whole day and three Sunday. Monday really picked up the pace. I've had a bunch today also. So, let's just get started. We had a yard sale on Saturday. So, actually not having the most sales come in or offers and everything kind of made it easier to manage, but the yard sale was very successful in Phoebe's part because she had a lot of Pokemon cards that my brother had given her. So, she made out.

[00:00:32]Me and Scott we just basically cleared out our garage. Okay, let's scoot over and get started. My one sale on Saturday was a full price sale, which is nice.

[00:00:41]This is from the brand Kay Unger. This was a blue floral probably like knee-length dress. It was a size 14. I had gotten this one of the last times I went out actually sourcing in person. It was priced up. It was $8.99 at my local thrift shop, but this is a really nice brand and it was in excellent condition like probably only worn once. It was listed 47 days. It did sell promoted for my full asking price of $39.99.

[00:01:06]So, I made $22.15 on this dress. Then on Sunday my first sale of the day was on Depop. This did sell boosted. This is from Alo and it's a white crewneck in a size large. This was like the big item I got in my Thread Up rescue box. It retailed for a lot of money. I forget exactly how much. I had it listed pretty high. It has been sitting 39 days. I got a $51 offer on Depop, which I did accept and I made $37.98, which I think that box I forget how much that box was. Did I say it that my my average cost of goods for each item from that box came out to $4.66.

[00:01:45]It was the activewear box. I got the one that was all sizes large and extra large. I'm sorry that my refrigerator's talking. I don't think it was worth it because there was like a couple good pieces, but everything else was just like meh. I didn't list most of it. Then the next two sales from the day are Poshmark sales and they're kind of small. Honestly, like almost all my sales that I'm going to talk about are Poshmark. This was a pair of Judy Blue skinny fit capris in a 14W. I'd gotten these in a Whatnot show where my average cost of goods was $3.56 per piece. These were listed 26 days and I got a $20 offer and after basically no sales all weekend, I said yes and I made $12.44.

[00:02:26]Then my last weekend sale was from Gap.

[00:02:30]This was a maternity dress. It was really nice. It was a blue dress. It was a size large. I had $2 into this from a local thrift shop's 75% off rack. It had been listed 95 days. I forget if I had this listed for like I think I had this listed for 25 and I got a $10 offer, which I countered them back to 20 and they countered me back to 15 and I said, "Okay, you can take it." So, I made $10.

[00:02:58]Now we can start talking about the weekday sales because this is when we finally picked up and started making sales. My first sale here is a pair of yellow denim from Pilcro. These were a women's size 31. I had found these at a local thrift shop for $6.99.

[00:03:14]If these had not been a size 31, I don't know if I would have picked them up because they were just such an odd random color and I already thought [snorts] it would be hard to move them and I was like, "Well, they're a bigger size, so I think they have a better chance." These were listed 234 days still, but I did get a $30 offer on Poshmark, which I accepted. So, I made $17.01.

[00:03:34]Then I sold a cardigan from Theory. This was a linen blend open front like waterfall style cardigan. It was a women's size small. I had $4.99 into this from my local thrift shop. It was listed 139 days and I got a another $30 offer on Poshmark, which I accepted. So, I made $19.01.

[00:03:52]This one is a smaller sale. This is from Banana Republic. This is This one was interesting. It was like this pink cardigan and it was called like Filpucci Italian yarn. It was 100% merino wool.

[00:04:05]It was so soft, like probably one of the softest merino wool pieces I've had. I had $4.99 into this one. It was listed 284 days and I got a $15 offer on Poshmark and in mid-May I wasn't really going to say no to selling some merino wool, so I made $7.01 on that one. Next was one of my fastest sales of the week so far. This was from the brand Kuhl. It was a 100% organic cotton just plain t-shirt. Um it was a women's size medium. I had just hopped into a random Whatnot show, I think this night. It was $3 starts and they were holding up this shirt and no one was bidding on it and I bid on it and that's how I wound up in that show. My average cost of goods from this show was $4.25, but I have never gotten something from Kuhl and had it sit. So I was like this one's probably going to move, but we're going to really see This is going to be an experiment because like it could not have been a more plain piece. It was listed four days and my Vendoo made this sale for me on Poshmark. Someone liked it and my Vendoo sent the liker an offer for $18, which was accepted, so I made $10.15 on this t-shirt. Next was another item I had gotten. This was a Whatnot show where the starts were a little higher. I forget if they were five or six dollars.

[00:05:21]This was from Urban Outfitters. I don't pick up a lot of Urban Outfitters, but this was a blue mini dress. It was super strappy, very like whimsical, ethereal and it was an extra large. And when I calmed extra large pieces like this in Urban Outfitters, they had a really good sell-through rate. It was only listed 19 days and I got a $20 offer on Poshmark, which I accepted, so I made $8.76.

[00:05:47]Next was such a fun sale. This was a pair of linen pants from Bryn Walker. I have never found Bryn Walker, but I was in a Whatnot show where the seller had some pieces that she was trying to move and she said this specific pair of pants had a hole in them and I was like, "Hey, $3 for Bryn Walker pants, I will sew that hole. Let me just tell you." I'm not a seamstress, but I can make a hole semi disappear. My average cost of goods My average cost of goods from this show is $4.84.

[00:06:18]The hole was fairly big, but I was like, "This style of pants, I don't think the buyer cares about how the hole is sewn and looks." Cuz it was honestly like in the inner upper thigh, like and it was towards the back. Like it wasn't like the most like obvious place. So, these were listed 3 days and I listed them very competitively because I did not want to price overprice them because they obviously were not in excellent condition. These sold for my full asking price in 3 days of $35 and I made $23.16.

[00:06:50]Then I have a very nostalgic piece. This is a vintage Spuds Mackenzie Budweiser shirt. This was my dad's when I was a child. I don't know why. I don't think I've ever seen my dad drink Budweiser. I think he liked the dog. I don't genuinely know why he had this, but at some point it became mine and I used to wear it as a pajama shirt for a very long time. She's had a journey. This one though has been listed for 456 days. I think I I just had it priced high because I had a nostalgic value on it.

[00:07:18]I've It's never really garnered much interest, but on Vinted I got an offer for $30.25 and I was excited. There's no fees, so I make $30.25 and she's going to the UK, so she's traveling overseas. I'm happy for her. Next was a surprising full price sale on eBay. This one did sell promoted. This was from Uniqlo. It was a wool blend like batwing cardigan shrug style piece in an extra small. It was a very neutral color. I had a $1.25 into this from a local thrift shop 75% off rack. It had been listed 87 days and it sold on eBay for my full asking price of $24.99 and I made $18.28.

[00:08:00]I do like picking up Uniqlo when it has a good fabric makeup, especially a piece like that where it's like a very like closet staple neutral item. Next, I sold another item I found on Whatnot. This was from Ann Taylor. This was a yellow tiered maxi dress with like a palm tree print all over it. It had these little like dangly bits. That's not a nice word.

[00:08:25]These things on the sleeves. My average cost of goods from this show was $4.52 a piece. This one had been listed 18 days and I got a $25 offer last night on Poshmark, which I accepted, so I made $15.48 on this dress. Then, I sold a bundle on Depop. It's been a while since I've sold a bundle on Depop, but those zero shipping fees that they have right now, like I don't understand, but I think that's making more people interested.

[00:08:52]The first item that So, like the buyer sent offers on both these pieces and then bundled them together. So, the first piece was a 100% linen white very strappy, like the whole back was like a strappy situation, dress from the brand Uma and Leopold. I had $4.99 into this one and it had been listed 326 days. The offer I got from the buyer was $31.88.

[00:09:15]Then, the other item was a vintage Oh my gosh, what was the brand name? Cuz it did Paul Alexander. My My title was vintage '80s Paul Alexander cream cotton full gathered skirt lace cottagecore 10.

[00:09:30]I had $5.89 on into this one from a Whatnot show. This one had only been listed 34 days and I had gotten an offer from this buyer for $27.20, meaning their price for this dress and this skirt came out to $59.08, which I was like so happy about. And then, after my cost of goods and the platform fees, cuz this one did sell with the boosted, I wound up making $42.41 on that bundle, and I was happy. Next, we have an Anthropologie piece. This is another I got this dress in the same show as that yellow and Taylor. This one was from Seed Heritage. It is an Anthropologie brand. It's not like one that I get super excited about. However, this was a green like it wasn't ditsy floral, but it did have these little like floral almost like daisies on it.

[00:10:19]It was green. It was a size extra large, which I never find at Anthropologie dresses in an extra large. And it had this really nice tie back detail. My average cost of goods from this show was $4.52, just like the yellow dress. This one was listed 25 days. This was a sale that was made by my Vendoo on Depop.

[00:10:35]Someone had liked the dress. Actually, it was getting a lot of attention on Depop, and my Vendoo sent an offer of $26.99, which was accepted, so I made $17.82 on this dress. Next was not a good sale, and I actually don't know why this one took so long to sell, and that's all.

[00:10:52]This was from Chico's, and was the from the Travelers line. It was a black open front cardigan, and it was new with tags. That's like such a basic closet staple when it comes to the Travelers line. I'm not sure why this one didn't move. This one I got it at a flea market last year. I had gotten so much Chico's from this one lady, and I had like grabbed like an armful, and she just charged me $10 for the armful. My average cost for each Chico's piece came out to $1.43, but this one had been listed 342 days.

[00:11:19]Beats me. I got a $28 offer last night on Poshmark, which I accepted, so I made $14.57.

[00:11:25]And then, this morning, this was a really good one. This was from Wacoal. I I don't know how to say this brand ever.

[00:11:32]Wacoal? Wacoal? Bra brand. This is my first success selling this brand. This was a bra I picked up for $1.99 to test out the brand, and this actually sold slow, but it was a good sale. I had a $1.99 into it, like I said. It was sitting 158 days, but I got a $29 offer this morning on eBay. This one did sell promoted, and I made $21.16, which is a lot for a bra. Then I had a full price sale on Vinted. This was from the brand Pole. This brand does not move for me. This is the second piece I've ever picked up from this brand, and I haven't picked it up since because it didn't move. It seems to be very popular on Whatnot, though. I don't know why. I don't get it. It seems like a knockoff Free People brand. This was a long-sleeve lacy burgundy top. Seems like a weird time of year to sell. This I had $3.50 into it from Goodwill. This one had been listed 196 days, and it sold for my full asking price on Vinted of $21. So, I make $17.50 on that one.

[00:12:34]Let's catch up on the last couple days of sales. I do have nine to go over with you. This first one came through pretty late at night. It's a full price sale.

[00:12:43]This was something that has been listed for a while on my shops. Has always gotten interest, and finally the sale went through. These were vintage '90s American Girl pins. So, like I don't even remember how it used to work, but you used to get like these little pins that came with some American Girl stuff.

[00:12:58]This was, I think, nine of them. Eight or nine. Just like a lot of them I had um from when I was a kid. This had been listed 391 days, though. Like this did not sell fast. It sold on Etsy for my full asking price of $8.99, and I made $6.74 after near after over a year on those.

[00:13:17]Next was a sale on Depop. Depop has been picking up, and it must like it has to be because of the free shipping cuz I never get this many Depop sales. Every single one of my Depop sales sells boosted. Not one sells not boosted. This is Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply, which is a line within Ralph Lauren that no longer exists, and it does have a following. I will say this was a very cool piece, like uh I think it was a snap front. It might have been button. It was like a very like almost military-esque style, but it was a men's size small, which definitely was going against it in this situation. I did have $7.99 into it. It was listed 78 days, and I got a $21 offer on Depop, which I wound up accepting. So, I only made $9.27 on this. Next was a crewneck I had picked up on Whatnot. This was the brand Arula, which I do believe used to be the plus-size line under Altered State. Do not quote me on that. This was a pickleball crewneck. It was called up The size was B/C, which I do believe was a 2X 3X size. I had $6.32 into this from a Whatnot show. It was listed 26 days, and I got a $20 offer on Depop, so I made $10.10 on this. Then, I sold another item I'd gotten on Whatnot. This was from Prana. It was a very cool like boho tank. It had all this like embroidery and eyelet detail. It was a women's size medium. I had $4.70 into this piece. It had been listed 42 days.

[00:14:40]I got an $18 offer on Poshmark, which I accepted. So, I made $9.63.

[00:14:44]Next is a pretty surprising sale. This was something that had been sitting for quite a long time. This was from the Sunday Best line at Aritzia. It was a tie-front kind of cropped long-sleeve shirt. It was a women's size medium. I had $4.99 into this from Goodwill. It had been listed 246 days. I mean, it would get likes, but no like no offers, no attention other than that. I made this sale on Vinted, and it was an international sale. The offer I received from the buyer was for $26.99, and there are no fees on Vinted, so I made $22 on this shirt, which was very surprising. Next was a very cool sale from a Whatnot show. This is from the brand Affliction. It was a vintage Y2K piece. However, this was a men's 3X t-shirt that someone had completely cut up and customized and it was one of the most incredibly well-done pieces I've ever seen. Like, it was unbelievably well-done. I could not believe it. So, what I wanted to do was I took measurements and I posted those in the listing and I said it could fit between like a medium and a large women's size I was pretty confident with. I had $4.25 into this on a whatnot show. It was listed 70s and I got an offer on Mercari for $27.96 to the point where like the buyer was freaking out. She was like, "Even if this doesn't fit me, I will hang it on my wall. This is the most amazing thing I've ever seen." Which was pretty awesome to hear. And Mercari fees are pretty low, so I wound up making $20.28 on that one. Next was a plush. I don't think I've had any plush this week yet, right? Okay, so my parents had a lot of things in their basement which wound up in my house and I've been slowly going through them. A lot of it really isn't worth anything. This was one that did have some pretty good comps. This was from the movie Shrek 2 and it was a talking donkey. I believe it said like 10 phrases. I have the Puss in Boots that talks also listed. I just listed that this past week. This donkey was listed 28 days, fully working. I think it was from 2002, early 2000s. And it sold on Etsy after 28 days for my fully asking price of $29.88, so I made $25.80 on that. Then I had two sales this morning. The first one was a one-day sale. This might have just been a fluke. My husband's grandparents just moved and they've really been downsizing a lot of their stuff and his grandmother gave like all these little like travel pouches from LeSportsac. I'm pretty sure they were like from the Y2K era. They weren't like none of them were like a matching set or anything. So, I was like, "You know what? I'll just lock the three of them together. It's travel season. Maybe someone will want these."

[00:17:14]I think I listed them for 19 and this morning I got to a $12 offer on Depop, of course boosted, and I accepted and I made $9.68.

[00:17:22]So, that was cool. And then, the last sale I have to go over is on eBay. I decided for Memorial Day weekend that I would put my shop on a 15% off sale.

[00:17:31]This is the first Who knows, could be the only sale I came through. It did sell, boosted. It's my only eBay sale since the 19th. This was from J.Crew Factory. It was called the Karen Cardigan. It was like a very nice fuchsia color. I gotten this at a local thrift shop sale. I had $2 into it, and it was listed 82 days, and it sold in my sale for $21.24, so I made $14.85 on that.

[00:17:56]Okay, we are going to wrap up this week.

[00:17:58]It's actually already the next Friday because the current week I'm in has been very unexpected. So, the reason I haven't had time to keep up with recording is because, surprisingly, one of the local thrift shops to me, it's around It's just It's between 5 to 10 minutes away, depending on traffic and stuff. Tuesday through today, Friday this week, they have been having a bins event like on their sidewalk, where there's like these giant cardboard bins, and everything inside them is 99 cents.

[00:18:27]So, I've been going every morning. I'm about to head out in like an hour and digging through these bins and getting so much inventory, which has been completely eating into my schedule, but this never happens. So, I really have to take advantage of it, and it's been wild, but yes, filming has not been happening. But, I do have two very small sales to go through from the end of last week. Both of these were very small.

[00:18:51]This first item was actually something I was considering pulling for my Whatnot show. My Whatnot show I haven't officially planned, but it'll probably be mid-June at some point. It's going to just be a closet clear out. I'm going to just do $3 starts. This specific pair that I almost pulled was from Brooks Brothers. These were a pair of men's shorts. They were a size 33. They were a very standard like chino style. I had $0.44 into them from a local thrift shop. They'd been listed 389 days. I got a $10 offer on Depop. And I will say, every single sale on Depop sells boosted. There's no non-boosted sales, which is just suspicious. So, I wound up making $7.95 on these shorts. Then another small sale came through on my eBay. These were a pair of pants from Apartment 9. Not a brand I typically pick up. This was something my mother-in-law had given to me. I'm fairly picky with what I post from my family members, but this was new with tags. They were pull-on. They were wide leg, like very comfy, like lightweight material, and they were a paisley print.

[00:19:51]So, I figured this would appeal to someone. They were listed 102 days. I got a $13 offer on eBay, which I accepted. So, I made $9.61.

[00:19:59]So, in total for this week, I had a total of 30 sales for a total sales price of $783.87, which is nice after how slow the weekend was, because that was quite a quiet weekend. My profit, which is the sales minus the initial cost of goods of my items, the fees from the platforms, and any postage paid came out to $491.52.

[00:20:23]I will say, Poshmark has been killing it. Of my 30 sales, 11 of them were Poshmark, but only five were eBay.

[00:20:31]That's not good. One Mercari, eight were Depop. Now, I think that is because Depop is having free shipping, and you know, shipping prices just went up again, which is making eBay, I feel like, the most expensive place to shop right now, because Poshmark has that standard shipping cost. Depop has no shipping. I did not have any Curtsy. I had two Etsy, and three Vinted and New Vestiaire. So, let me know, how is your eBay looking? Have you noticed a significant dip since the most recent like fuel surcharge was added on eBay?

[00:21:04]Because five sales in a week is pretty bad. That is why I think investing in any type of cross-listing software is so beneficial. When people see the cost on eBay, they're very likely to search for potentially the exact item they're seeing on eBay on a different platform that has lower shipping cost. So, if you don't cross-list, I highly recommend it.

[00:21:26]I used to do it manually, which was painful. I do use Vendoo. I've had Vendoo for probably been over a year now. I absolutely love it. I know there's tons of different softwares. I'm sure they're all fairly similar in what they do, but I'm very grateful for cross-listing because wow, five eBay sales in a week.
