Intentional cash allocation involves systematically assigning specific dollar amounts to different savings and expense categories (such as emergency funds, travel, personal goals, and recurring bills) to ensure financial discipline and progress toward long-term objectives, with the key principle being that consistency over time creates real change in one's financial situation.

Cash Planning ♡ | $680 | may no. 2Added:
[music] [music] >> Hi everyone. Welcome back to A Wavy Flower. If you're new here, my name's Vanessa, 24 year old cash stuffer here on YouTube. And today we will be doing a cash binding for our weekly contributions to our savings. So, let's start off with our 10K savings challenge.
So, I do want to let you guys know that I am being very proactive and already thinking of what my next set up will be.
Little by little I am collecting my all my Pokemons.
My new binders. That's what I mean by that. Um and yeah, I think I will very much enjoy my next set up.
So, we would have already cashed up this one if I end up going with the thought process.
Um if I am going with the schedule that I have planned in my head.
So, if you missed my previous videos, I am not sure how I am going to be adding my magic month to my system. So, yeah, that's kind of where my dilemma is right now.
In this envelope we'd like to do the 190. Usually I do do start off with the smallest and then work my way from make my way from there.
So, 10K savings challenge is getting 190.
And that will be all. I did want to point out that I only have June and July left and then I can switch one of my envelopes out for August and September.
And I would be done with this.
So, almost there, not quite.
I only have 10 envelopes that came in my order.
So, that's why I have the other two waiting in the back. Next we're going into our personal binder.
Hope everyone's having a great start to their week.
So, in car maintenance we will be putting 25.
And then for tech stuff, we'll do 25 as well.
And then we're going to move all the way back to travel. And this one will get its usual 30.
Our holiday funds is for my son's birthday.
Which I should have already placed my order for the things I need.
So, that this one need an stuffing soon.
We will do 10.
Crafted by Coco savings challenge already completed, but we're still putting money in here.
We'll do 25.
And these are fully funded.
So, that will be all for this binder.
Next we're going into our travel binder.
This is to fund our trip to Japan.
Japan.
And in airfare we're doing 75.
Upgrades will get 10.
Um I saw that Giselle Budgets, I think is her um handle.
She actually just released some saving challenges or maybe she was promoting it. I'm not quite sure. I saw it right before I started filming this video. And I thought they were the cutest um little envelopes with saving challenges. So, maybe I might consider trying to save up for that at some point, but for e-sims we're doing 10.
Pre-trip we're good on. Accommodations we'll do 25. This is for a hotel.
Transportation gets its usual 10 because we get track um we get guided by a tracker and each icon is worth 10.
Food and beverages will also be getting 10.
Splurge will get five.
Adventures will get 15.
And hopefully we get to experience Universal in Japan. If you've been to Japan, comment down below what you did in Japan.
What what you would recommend we try out while we're there. Um yeah, and any any any kind of recommendations you have in general because I would like to do as much as I can while I'm over there. The flights are not cheap, so trying to take advantage of every little thing I can.
So, for souvenirs, um let's see if we're going to cash stuff that this time around.
Yes, we are. We'll put $5 into souvenirs.
And that will be all for this binder.
Next we're going into our one month ahead.
For our firstborn, our son, we'll do 25.
For me we'll do 10.
For my husband we'll also do 10.
And for mortgage we'll do 25.
Yes, we'll do 25.
We'll skip all the way back to auto insurance which which will also get 25.
And then subscriptions will get 15.
Pickers to what subscriptions is, it's for our Netflix, our Amazon, trash disposal services, stuff like that.
So, we could get a month ahead on that.
And that will be all for this binder.
Last but not least, we're going into our personal binder.
And in here we are putting 30 into our mini getaways or 15 into our mini getaways.
And hopefully soon we get to reallocate this back into our home envelopes.
And we are going to go all the way back to our special events. Which is actually should be already fully funded for my little sister's gifts for her birthday.
Um day outings will be getting $25 or $20.
Yes, we'll do $20 this time around and that will fully fund it.
Or at least so complete the savings challenge. I'm not sure if we'll fully fund this just yet. I have to find out what my goal is in here.
We're going to move on to our wedding venue. It is guided by this tracker and it is $10 each icon.
We'll do a 10.
And for manifesting we are doing $20 in here.
So, I don't remember when I stopped subtracting. So, I'm just going to let it be and hopefully it all adds up at the end.
Okay, and then for the last envelope we're going to fund is going to soft plant savings challenge and we will do $15.
And hopefully that equals out to the [snorts] number that we were working with which was $680.
So, let's see if this adds up cuz I am pretty I'm so curious to see if I made a hiccup.
Okay.
All righty, so we did end up with $680.
So, looks like all of our math checked out. So, I do hope you enjoyed this video. If you did, make sure you hit the thumbs up and our next video will be our cash stuffing. So, if you are interested, please make sure that you keep your bell notifications on so you don't miss that video. Until next time.
Bye.
