[00:00:00]Hey everyone, it's final round. My name is Jordan. This video will be for MLB's Friday. And if you're just watching MLB because NBA is not on, I want to talk about the MLB videos. The way I do MLB videos, a lot different type of research than NBA. NBA is kind of going through props um that are already out. Um MLB I normally do it the night before, so I don't have props out. Um, and NBA and WNBA and football, all that stuff. I I watch all the games of baseball. I watch basically Indian Guardians games uh whenever um they're on national TV. Um I don't sit there and watch every single game. So um there's not as much emotion or like I see the player and like they upset me or something like that. Uh this is more baseball videos are more just 100% just data analysis. Um so uh that's that's why the picss feel a little bit different and just kind of straightforward just data data data. Um but it is just straight up just data analysis.

[00:01:30]Um, it'll help you with pretty much anything. I use it for batters. Um, I I find that uh the most fun to target for baseball. Um, I love baseball. Grew up playing baseball all the way through high school. Um, but uh I can't I love it and I hate it at the same time. Um, I love all the the numbers and stuff. I've been a data analyst for past five years.

[00:01:52]This is just a completely different um feel to it. So, first batter is going to be Vladimir Guerrero Jr. versus Trevor Rogers. This is a right-handed batter versus left-handed pitcher. It'll be nice out with slight wind blowing right.

[00:02:07]Rogers giving up a 328 average to righties this season and a 288 average at home. That's not good. They've seen each other seven times over the past three seasons. Brow Jr. has five at bats and three hits. Um he was also walked two times, so keep that in mind. Over the last six games, Vladic Jr. is sitting 375 with six hits and four runs, not getting RBI's. Like his teammates are not on base much. He's also been walked seven times. So, um getting a ton of walks. So, prop radar, I'm not looking for 1.5 hits, runs, RBI's uh because his teammates aren't hitting him in much or they're not on base enough when he gets a hit. So, looking for 1.5 total bases. Um he hasn't hit a home run um during this stretch, but he's always a home run threat. Um so, I'm going to target a home run and then also target just a walk, just a walk. um because he has he was walked twice by Rogers and now he's kind of on like a walk streak right now. So looking for a walk or maybe even two walks. See that's happened in some of the games. Uh, Kadane Rafaela, Rafaela, Rafella, Kadane Rafella verse Slade Sakonei of uh, Cleveland is a right-handed batter versus right-handed pitcher. So, they'll be in Cleveland at the Jake where it'll be cooler out with slight wind blowing out. It's not going to hurt or help with like home runs or anything like that. So Sakone is giving up a 306 average to righties this season and a 267 average at home. He's actually worse verse righties, the same side that he pitches on. So [snorts] they've seen each other three times over the last three years.

[00:04:35]Um Raphaela went two for three. He had a home run and a single off of him. So over the past five games, um he's hitting 304 with seven hits, a home run, and not too many RBI's or runs. So, uh, prop radar, I am going to be looking for 1.5 hits, runs, RBI's. I'm going to be looking for 1.5 total bases as well. And I'm looking for a home run, uh, for him.

[00:05:02]And then this last batter is going to be Casey Schmidt verse Michael Laorenzan.

[00:05:06]This is a right-handed batter versus right-handed pitcher. Uh they'll be at the amazing Kors Field in Colorado with the high altitude where balls go further. Um a lot of home runs are hit there. Um it's going to start out the game's g be pretty warm starting out with wind blowing uh to left field which is going to help right-handed batters.

[00:05:26]Um if he can get one u you know get solid contact and pull one early. U the wind's going to be blowing out pretty strong and then it's going to be moving around a little bit. So is actually worse verse lefties. So, Raphael Devers is an honorable mention for a home run.

[00:05:41]He's just not doing too great right now.

[00:05:44]Just honorable mention, but he's giving up a 298 average to righties and a 414 average at home. So, slight history here. Just two at bats, one hit for a single. Um, so Schmidt is hitting.33 with seven hits, three home runs, eight RBI's in the last five games. So, he is on fire. Prop Radar looking for 1.5 hits on his RBI's. looking for 1.5 total bases and looking for that home run at Kors Field. So, uh that is my three batters. If you guys uh would like to discuss lines further, like to discuss uh more pitcher strikeouts, more money lines, all that type of stuff, it is completely free. [00:06:42]Juan Sto, uh, verse Andrew Abbott. He hit a home run. Uh, then I had Keel Marte vers Trevor McDonald. He had two hits, so it had a multi-hit game. Um, then I had Shi Otani and he hit a home run as well. So, two out of three guys hit home runs and we had a multi-hit game from the other guys. So, uh, doesn't get much better than that.

[00:07:05]That's a That's an awesome day from uh just three batters. And uh I tried to find as many as I could for this video.

[00:07:12]Um I'm I'm going through every single pitcher looking for the bad ones and then I'm flipping over to see who's hot.

[00:07:18]Uh and then I'm looking to see who has good history. If they like check all the boxes, uh then I'm putting them in the video. So um from here on out as we go, um I forgot to mention Guy Boston's buckets to bucks. I'm using the splits uh are from that. I'm using his tool to find the bad pitchers and then I'm just going down the list and then we're looking for the ballpark to make sure uh you know like the weather is nice. Um you know some some guys were kind of on the fence here but the weather wasn't too great. Going to continue to do this and it's just pure data analysis and hopefully we keep doing well uh with baseball. I've always I feel like I've done well with batters. So, I've done this for uh um this would be my fourth season doing MLB, but no, no, I skipped an entire season cuz I the first one killed me. It just burned me out. So, this would be my third season. Um I Yeah, I skipped one uh when Caitlyn Clark had her rookie year. I was like, I'm not doing baseball. I can't do it another year. Um but I have a lot more time now. So, I enjoy doing this.

[00:08:23]Hopefully, you do well and uh take some things from this. I'm probably going to be since we're on a hot streak with the home runs. I'm probably going to be betting uh the home runs for these guys just as single bets. Um that's probably where I'm headed. And I forgot to mention um fantasy score. I do like fantasy score especially for a guy like Vladimir Guerrero Jr. who's getting walked a ton because fantasy score if you take that on an app like underdog or prize picks it would give you b it's basically like hitting a single. So um he's definitely going to be a fantasy score guy to go to. So, um, yeah, a lot more talking in this one, but, uh, I just wanted to explain, uh, things for baseball because I know a lot more people are going to be watching this, uh, than normal, >> [snorts] >> uh, because the NBA is winding down.
