LP(a) is a genetic risk factor present in 10-15% of the population, representing an LDL particle with an extra protein that increases hypercoagulability and oxidative stress, thereby elevating cardiovascular disease risk; however, this risk can be significantly mitigated through natural interventions including proper nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and evidence-based supplements such as time-release niacin, nattokinase, and serrapeptase, which can reduce LP(a) levels and improve associated markers like oxidized LDL and LP-PLA2 without pharmaceutical intervention.

Lp(a)- Case StudyAñadido:
Mommy >> Hello friends, impromptu live here, Dr. Jack Wolfson, cardiologist, natural heart doctor.
I put together this brief presentation for you about LP little A.
LP little A is a genetic uh risk factor and that those with that particular gene that produces high LP little A do have a increased risk of cardiovascular events.
Now, I think in ancestral times, there was a benefit to this particular gene and this particular protein LP little A, which helps to stop catastrophic bleeding in the cases of trauma. Well, fast forward to a modern world and traumatic bleeding is not very common.
So, it's a risk factor that everybody needs to know about and there's other factors that are involved as well.
That's for sure.
And if you do have this particular risk factor, again, you should know, but we're not going to blame everything on it because everything has to be linked to it. This by itself, I do not think is going to be a factor. It's you stack up all the other bad things and I'll talk about that in a little bit on top of LP little A and now you have increased risk. But I'm going to show you a case study right now of a patient who I've been working with and how his numbers dramatically improved and this is really just exciting stuff because mainstream medicine will uh there's no way to lower the number down, there's nothing you could do about it except for with their pharmaceutical statin drugs, by the way, increase LP little A. PCSK9 inhibitors lower LP little A by about 20 to 30%.
But uh I think there's a much bigger picture here as it relates to LP little A that I want people know about. LP little A is a type of LDL particle present in about 10 to 15% of the population. It's not a mutation. It is not really, like I said, an abnormality per se, but it is in a modern world known to be an increased risk factor for cardiovascular disease. It's an LDL particle with an extra protein on the outside of it that does two things. Number one, it increases hypercoagulability, and also it appears to be more likely to be prone to oxidation because it is not easily cleared from the bloodstream. So, let's jump into it, and again, I'm cardiologist Dr. Jack Wolfson. I've been a cardiologist since 2002, founded Natural Heart Doctor in 2012, and I use natural treatment solutions to prevent, treat, and reverse cardiovascular disease, and I'm going to show you that right now. All right, so this is a patient, a 70-year-old male. He has known coronary artery disease. He's already had a heart attack.
And currently, when I see him, he's taking zero pharmaceuticals. He does not want to be on pharmaceuticals, which is why he came to see me.
And on the screen, we can see the previous lipid panel on the right and the current one on the left, and you can see that his total cholesterol has gone down, his LDL has gone down.
Uh his ratio is better. Cholesterol HDL ratio 3.3 to 2.6. His triglycerides actually went up a little bit, but are still considered in the safe zone. Now, my intention is not to brag about how we lowered his total cholesterol down. I'm just showing you what actually happened, and my interest is finding the perfect cholesterol levels for everybody.
And the reds and the yellows and the greens, that is all pharmaceutical company-controlled messaging. That is not my my of the reds and the yellows. that this is I use a lab testing company called vibrant.
They're the most advanced lab testing company in the world, but they are not a natural lab testing company. Now, a lot of natural and holistic physicians do use vibrant.
Now, here's actually something that's very important as well. This is called the apoB apoA ratio.
And although on the right and to 2024 we were at 0.62 on the left we're at 0.39 and that is a tremendous improvement. The lower the apoB apoA ratio the better. That just means you have less apoBs and more apoAs and that's exactly what we saw here. A very dramatic reduction again without pharmaceuticals. I'll show you how in a second. Now, this is where it gets really exciting inflammation markers markedly improved. PLAC, which is an enzyme that is on coronary plaque is now normal. We reduced it there by about 30% 227 down to 178. That's very exciting. And also oxidized LDL was cut down by about 65%.
You can see that from 97 down to 31.
That is just monumental improvement.
Oxidized LDL is a measure of oxidative stress. It's one of my favorite markers along with what's called the heart attack risk test, which is a urinary oxidative stress testing.
And this is a a dramatic dramatic improvement to show that we have lowered down oxidative stress. Aloha Dr. Chris, good to see you, brother. Say hello to your beautiful bride.
Lipoprotein markers and this is again where I this is the the money shot, if you will. LP little A goes from 72 down to 27. What they say can't be done, we just did it. We just did it for this gentleman, patient of mine, 70-year-old male with coronary artery disease. No pharmaceuticals. We went from LP little A 72 down to 27. This is his test. He gave us a testimonial on this. He allowed us to use this particular information. I don't have his name on here cuz that is not pertinent to the story, but how did he do it? How did we do it?
Let's talk about what the protocol was.
Well, obviously we start off with the 100-year heart method. Eat well, live well, think well. So, we teach him how to eat the right foods, avoid the wrong foods. We teach him how to get sunshine and sleep and physical activity. We tell him to reduce his toxin level. And then we get him on the right mindset path as well with spirituality, gratitude, passion, purpose, self acceptance, community, all those things. And then test, don't guess. I showed you a lot of the test, don't guess. And then we get into evidence-based supplements and biohacking strategies. So, what are those evidence-based supplements that we talked about? We'll call these the thrive supplements. Kickstart my heart, wild salmon roe, heart helpers, optalipid time release niacin, and flow.
So, Kickstart my heart is our elk flagship product. It is New Zealand grass-fed, grass-finished elk. Prairie grass-fed, field harvested, meaning it is shot by a marksman from a distance. The animal's dropped and then field dressed right there.
No chemical bathing and it's just the most pure product. It's so pure that we put it into a grass-fed, grass-finished gel cap. And that is just over and above what anybody else is doing. This quite simply is the best organ product in the world. And this chicken coming at me right now agrees. It's definitely the agreement clock that's happening. That is not a disagreement clock. That is the clock that agrees.
Wild salmon roe is the wild salmon roe, the fish eggs in a capsule, all the vitamins, minerals, proteins, and fats that a salmon needs to come to life, plus the EPA DHA that you can only get from eating seafood.
Heart Helpers is our probiotic that is to support gut health. And when you support gut health, it's it's it's really revitalizing the gut microbiome.
And when you get more of the good healthy gut microbes, that's how they start to make vitamins. That's how they make things more bioavailable, how they create proteins in the gut that are absorbed through your gut epithelial lining, and make modifications to cholesterol, to blood pressure, to immune system functions, to oxidative stress, inflammation, you name it. So, all health starts in the gut. I learned that from my wife over 20 years ago, and that is no doubt the truth. Most cardiologists are walking around right now thinking the gut has nothing to do with the heart, and that's very sad for them, but it's even more sad for their patients as well. OptiLipid is our targeted lipid support that's seven different nutraceuticals, things like berberine, quercetin, resveratrol, all evidence-based, over 75,000 studies on the components of OptiLipid. And what that does, including evidence that there is some reduction of LP-PLA2. Time-release niacin is definitively the supplement that lowers LP-PLA2. And then, Flow is the product that helps with the hypercoagulability associated with LP-PLA2.
So, again, LP-PLA2 is known to be a mimic to prevent the breakdown of fibrinogen because it appears to be similar to plasmin and interferes with plasmin activation.
And nattokinase and serrapeptase actually do that. It's actually natto serazymes and um nattozymes and serazymes. So, it's not a soy uh product uh which natokinase typically is. This is something that is different. So, that's what we call flow. And this gentleman just achieved some uh fantastic success. So, when you give the body what it needs, it gets the job done. Eat well, live well, think well. Test, don't guess. Evidence-based supplements, biohacking strategies. If you're interested in learning more individually, naturalheartdoctor.com/discovery and we can kind of guide you on uh on answering a lot of your questions.
And then if you're interested in our home urine oxidative stress test, it's called the heart attack risk test. I'll put that into the comment section.
heartattackrisktest.com is right uh there. So, if you're interested, uh that is right there.
Know your risk and you don't have to go to the doctor. You don't certainly don't need a CT scan or any kind of nuclear stress test. Uh the best test you can do is at home. Uh it's at home. No blood necessary, no doctor's order. We call it the heart attack risk test. It's a measure of oxidative stress uh through lipid peroxide damage and then we detect that in the urine. I did show you his improvement on oxLDL and that's a great blood test and we offer a lot of really good blood tests at Natural Heart Doctor. Come to the website, check it out and uh see what you think. Uh we got uh about 65 people on this impromptu uh live stream. Share this information.
lp(a) makes a lot of people very nervous as it should. It's a problem. It's a risk factor. Uh but there are ways to mitigate it very successfully and I just showed what those were. So, the replay will be available. We've gone live on uh LinkedIn, on YouTube, on X, and on Facebook. And we will make sure that everybody sees a copy of this, but very excited for the gentleman who got the improved results and therefore lower cardiovascular risk on multiple different levels and very excited for you if you implement the in information. So, have a great rest of your day.
