The Last Stand is Still My Favorite Zombie Game

In this video, we're going to be playing The Last Stand, which is probably one of my favorite zombie games of like all time, but I was so scared of it as a kid, so like I could never actually play it. But like I like the concept of it. I used to enjoy watching my friends play it when I was a kid, but like I could never actually play it myself because I was just like super scared. But I'm an adult, so I think I can recover. But I am playing this game at 1:00 p.m. I don't know if I could play it at night.

[00:00:29]I don't know. Just kidding. I feel like I feel like I would be good. But yeah, this game is still one of my favorites though. Like it's a classic. I used to play this I used to play this a lot is like in college like low key on my like when I was in like the library. I would just be like ripping some last stand and uh on my like college laptop and Oh, we're doing Oh my god. No.

I'm like a little nervous because I I kind of do like lose a lot sometimes when I play this and like I don't want to lose. I want this to be like a one attempt kind of video. So, we'll see how that goes. I remember I used to like the chainsaw.

And if you aren't familiar, the developer named Con Artist Games, they worked with Oh my god, this is Wow. Wow. Wow. There's so many. But the legacy edition is like the updated version on Steam and No way.

But anyways, like I was saying before I lose that train of thought, this is the legacy edition which Con artist games partnered with Armor Games to Holy Oh my god, that scared me. I curse there. I don't like to curse on the channel. I don't know why. I know there's like mainly an adult based viewers, but still. But yeah, they partnered with Armor Games. They released a bunch of games. They also released the uh 106 or uh 19 I can't even think right now. The World War I and World War II games, the warfare games which I played previously. So check those out. I played the the legacy edition.

[00:04:02]Like dude, that there's no way the game didn't glitch there. So there's really no excuse that that should have been like that. I don't know. Maybe I'm just not good. That's kind of wild though.

[00:04:16]And he did the warfare games on the legacy edition. And basically it's like updated graphics. I think there's like new um like zombies as well on it. And then with the legacy edition, you also get like all three last stands.

[00:04:42]Okay. And we found a survivor in 2 hours. No weapons though. I I don't remember like if this game was like if it was like always like numbers or like RNG, you know? It's like if you do this for this many hours, then you get that.

Fun fact, I actually bought this game in February, like trying to do a video of it back in February, but I just never did. And like that, if you saw that there was like week or day 10 or day 12, that was from February. All right, we got the UMP and we lost another person in our search.

[00:07:11]So, every single time I just lose people and like the game doesn't even think that I'm alive. All right. Well, we have the UMP, so I don't need to click. I don't know how long. I I genuinely don't know what's happening, but we'll see how this goes.

[00:11:20]I hate zombie stuff though. Like I I can't watch Walking Dead. Also, I heard Walking Dead kind of sucks anyways, but like I could not watch Walking Dead. I I'm scared of zombie things. And if you caught me, if you if I was if I if I was playing this game at night, I would still be a little a little nervous to be honest with you. All right, look at that. 15% repair. You see that? It increases. So, we're going to dump that and that and we got a survivor and the UMP. It's like the complete opposite run. Like the game was definitely glitching. So, Con artist games is one of my favorite studios. Oh, we got his brother. Look at that. Yeah, Con artist Games is one of my favorite studios. I love the warfare games. I love like history games. I'm a big like history strategy guy if you aren't familiar.

[00:12:10]Yeah. But one thing about zombies that always interested me is like the concept of zombies because it's like what is a zombie? You know, like why does a zombie die from bullets? And like I never really looked into it, but like my only logical conclusion of why a zombie dies from bullets is zombies are like the zombie disease is like you know that disease that like grasshoppers get where the the parasite like goes in their body and like kills the grasshopper and takes control of their body. That's the only thing that like makes logical sense to me about like what a zombie is. Look at that. 20%. That's solid. At this time in the last game, I was getting zero percents. Getting zero percents. Yeah, we want to get a lot of survivors. Oh, we lost somebody. [laughter] No way. Who did we lose? Did we lose his twin brother? Let's see. Let's see who we lost. Yeah, we lost his twin brother.

[00:13:07]So, the only logical conclusion for zombies cuz it's like if they're dead, why would a bullet kill them? And then it's just like the parasite just did so much. I know there's like a thing with like The Walking Dead about it, but I never looked into it. So, this could be similar. But yeah, just like that that parasite thing. That's basically what I'm trying to explain, I guess, pretty poorly. Sorry, I'm like kind of playing.

[00:13:29]It's like really hard to like play games and just talk about nonsense. I don't know if you guys have ever tried it.

[00:13:38]And oh, look at that. I like how there's like animations of like guts coming like out of them. That's kind of cool. So then I was thinking about it, right? So theoretically like let's just go with the like the hypothesis that the hair worms go into the human body and then that's why we're going to get two there by the way. And that's why you know the bodies get controlled which then hypothetically makes sense because that's why when the zombie bites you the the parasites are going from the bites into your bloodstream. Guys, you guys, you guys with me? So then when they bite you and you get infected, that's the parasites in your bloodstream. But then if you want to get conspiratorial Oh, I forgot how to change weapons. How do I Oh, it's just space. Okay. Oh, look at the shotgun.

[00:14:41]If you want to get conspiratorial, do you guys remember like peak peak like COVID and then like Joe Rogan and like Aaron Rogers and stuff were like uh taking Ivormech well like a lot of people and it was like Ivormectum and then the news was like Ivormectum is a horse tranquilizer not tranquilizer but like treating horse horse worms or something like that and then it was like but people were taking it because it was like good for whatever. But if you want to get conspiratorial, Ivormectin is good like an anti-parasitical thing, which is why it's good for horses because they get parasites. So then technically if you take ivormectin and you take it and you have zombie parasites in you, oh, we lost somebody in the search, dude. That's the worst when that happens. Then maybe maybe Ivormectin is the heal. Assuming you believe in Ivormectin is the heal for zombie ititis. I don't know that's such like a random that was such a random monologue there. I don't know.

[00:15:48]Maybe you guys followed me. But yeah, I mean there has to be a heal for zombie itis. Like it's just a parasite. Like I feel like it wouldn't be that hard, you know? Like just put some research into some anti-parasite things. That's assuming it's even real. I don't know. I just never understood the whole zombie thing. It's like, dude, if you know there's an outbreak, like, just bomb that area. In my opinion, I like how much better this is going. You know, the weapon I want to get is that chainsaw.

There's a couple games, you know, another game that I was like really scared of as a kid and it made sound weird cuz like I don't I've looked it up and like other people weren't scared. Luigi's Mansion.

[00:17:14]It's still kind of annoying cuz they still do hit your base a little bit even with like getting chainsawed, but it's so strong. But yeah, I was so scared of Luigi's Mansion. I used to enjoy watching my friends play it, but me personally, I couldn't. I couldn't play it. All right, get rid of that guy.

And I really want to unlock him cuz it's like so funny when you get Larry David on your team. And Larry David is like dude, curb your enthusiasm. If you're watching this channel, you would definitely like curb your enthusiasm. The best show of all time. For some reason, some people don't like it. Like my mom, even though my mom like Seinfeld, she doesn't like Curb Your Enthusiasm cuz she thinks the humor is dumb. But if you get it, you get it.

Like they definitely sent like a squad of hazmat suits guys in and then all of them are coming at you at once. Like they all got infected at the same time and then they're making their way over.

I I'm like I like I like going shooting and stuff, but shooting is kind of expensive. Like going to the shooting range, like it's pretty pricey. Like you got to spend like 20 bucks to go to the shooting range just to get in and then you have to have bullets and like dude you run through bullets in the shooting range. Like I I'll go through like three clips in like just one minute. It's crazy. 35% is wild. We're just going to go all weapons here.

Like zombies are always like presumably stupid, but imagine the parasite that we spoke about earlier was like a superhuman like alien and it was like smart, you know, like it could control humans even smarter than humans are. That's a crazy That's a crazy idea if you think about it. All right, let's go. UMP or No, what is this? M4. Interesting concept if you think about it. Like the parasites are actually aliens. [00:27:26]I actually have shot an AK before. The recoil on an AK is wild, bro. Like it's like hard to like it's hard to like uh describe without trying it when you shoot like a weapon that strong. Like the first time I shot it, I was like, "Holy smokes." Like there, that's no joke. But it had recoil. It was a fun weapon. I shot it outside, too, which is even better. Like outside shooting ranges are 20 times better than indoor shooting ranges. I was in Las Vegas. Oh, this is a complete I'm just yapping.

I was in Las Vegas about four months ago and uh man, I saw this like really cool thing in Vegas where you could go to Do we even have more weapons to unlock? I don't even remember. Oh, no.

But also, I'm not gonna lie, my wife came home in the middle of that round and like I turned around for a little bit and and then next thing I know, they're all at the wall. So, that's my excuse. It's my wife's fault that we lost on that round.
