[00:00:00]I've been loving reacting to Australian content, and because I'm watching so much of it, like I'm getting people recommended to me that I've never seen before, like this guy Carl Barron. Like I believe he's an Australian, like really well-known comedian. You know, his clips, like I've just this clip here, 5 million views. So, I love comedy, stand-up comedy is one of my favorite things. I'm hoping this is he's going to be funny. I mean, I'm guessing he's going to be funny. I went out with a doctor once.

[00:00:32]Met her in London when we come back to Australia. I was hanging around all her doctor friends, and they're all posh and educated and [ __ ] And I was going to dinner parties for for the first time.

[00:00:47]I'd been to a dinner party, I mean, up at that point in my life I'd had Smirnoff on two bricks.

[00:00:54]I didn't know, this is not a joke, I didn't know until I was 21 that you don't shake a bottle of wine before you pour it.

[00:01:03]I'll never forget the look on their face when I put my thumb over the hole.

[00:01:13]I said, "Mixing it in."

[00:01:17]They said, "Why?" I said, "There's all those chunky bits down the bottom. Have a look at that."

[00:01:21]They thought it was a joke.

[00:01:24]I didn't know until I was 21 that some people have a problem with the word use.

[00:01:29]What are you using doing the other one?

[00:01:31]Found out the hard way. I said, "What are you using tomorrow?"

[00:01:35]They all sort of went >> [clears throat] >> Some smart-ass goes, "We're not sheep."

[00:01:40]>> [laughter] >> I mean, right, huh?

[00:01:45]I give up, what are you?

[00:01:49]I knew something was wrong, so that I did I did what any self-respecting bloke would do in that situation, sat at the end of the table by myself and got absolutely shitfaced.

[00:01:58]Started talking to myself. [ __ ] [ __ ] You know, you think you're funny when you're pissed. I look on the menu, guys.

[00:02:10]The only thing that doesn't cost anything is a gluten. It's free.

[00:02:20]"What's wrong with you?" I got worms.

[00:02:25]"We're going home. Say goodbye to everyone." All right, see you later, you cockhead.

[00:02:32]Get home, she was spewing. "You embarrassed me in front of all my friends."

[00:02:37]So, what? When I got blind? No, the way you talk.

[00:02:40]"You sound like a yobbo."

[00:02:43]What's a yobbo? Is it kind of like a chav, like an English like chav yobbo?

[00:02:47]So, which bit? When you said, "What are you doing tomorrow?"

[00:02:51]I said, "What's the mystery?"

[00:02:54]You know when I say, "What are you doing tomorrow?" You know very well I mean, "What are all of you going to do tomorrow?"

[00:03:04]She said, "It's not a proper word. It's not in the dictionary." It's not in the dictionary. I mean, that's that's how words end up in the dictionary. If enough people say the wrong word, they stick it in there.

[00:03:12]>> Exactly. He's pretty right. Everybody says it.

[00:03:27]I'm still waiting for the day I open the dictionary and see the word [ __ ] knuckle.

[00:03:45]Whenever you mention Telstra, someone goes, "Oh, [ __ ] Telstra. Don't start."

[00:04:25]Some people like it. I did this show in Melbourne one night. After show, my mate come up. He's really excited. He went, "Carl, guess what?"

[00:04:32]I said, "Just tell me."

[00:04:36]He said, "There was a lord at your show." I said, "What do you mean? Like a gay lord?"

[00:04:43]He said, "No, no. He said, "No, like a proper lord from England. Jeffrey."

[00:04:48]I was curious to posh lord. I said, "Did he laugh at the [ __ ] I was talking about?" He goes, "Yeah, heard him say to his mate, he likes the word cockhead."

[00:04:56]>> [laughter] >> I said, "Why?" He goes, "He's never heard it."

[00:05:00]I said, "He's never heard it. He's English. They made the words up. What are you talking about?"

[00:05:07]He reckons heard him say to his mate, he's going to go back to England and use it.

[00:05:11]I'd love to be at that dinner party.

[00:05:14]I say, "Jeffrey, if you don't mind me saying so, boy, you reckon like a massive cockhead."

[00:05:20]>> [laughter] >> I say, "Brian, where'd you learn that word from?" "Oh, some [ __ ] knuckle in Australia."

[00:05:29]By the way, what he IS DOING TOMORROW?

[00:05:34]I LIKE HIM. HE'S GOT LIKE a conversational style, like, you know, the jokes, they don't come like bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. They He builds them up, gives you enough time to, you know, set up like the story, and then it comes I like him. I like him. What other bits of his are really famous and well-known and are there any other like Aussie comedians who have done like legendary bits or maybe comedians from overseas that have gone to Australia. I think the Melbourne Comedy Festival a lot of big comedians go over there and do do stuff. Like let me know what your favorite comedy bits are and I'll I'll add them on the reaction list.
