is on mean deviation. So, let's say that you will take the test in a subject and score 70, 80 and 90. On an average, your score is 80 but this is a thing. Not every score is exactly 80, right? So mean deviation is how much it is fluctuating from the average value.
Step one, first you have to find the mean.
Step two is how much it is deviating from that.
Meaning +10, -10 these three. So total deviation 10, 0 and 10. So here we will not take negative values.
Deviation means it will be taken as positive. So the total deviation becomes 20 / 3 6.67, so my mean deviation becomes 6.67.
Any data is very useful and sometimes in terms of cricket, I am choosing only that player who performs on a regular basis. So mean deviation equals average distance from the mean.
