Effective season finales should provide emotional closure and resolution to character arcs rather than merely setting up future storylines; when a finale feels like it's retreading known information without delivering new emotional satisfaction or resolving major plot threads, viewers experience deflation and dissatisfaction, as the lack of proper narrative completion undermines the viewing experience.

The Vampire Lestat Finale Is UNDERWHELMING! | SPOILER Review
Added:And I was just like, this feels like a convoluted weird way of ending this season because I get it. This is a continuous story, but each season has to have some sort of some ending to that part of the story. This did not feel like an ending to me.
>> Yeah.
>> This just felt like you did too much setup in the last 2 minutes. And I did not feel satisfied with the ending.
>> I don't think I reacted. I didn't feel anything. I just was like >> I was like so just seven episodes [laughter] >> this season next episode if if anything. But >> what's up everybody? Welcome to another episode of the Most Potato Podcast. My name is Alvin.
>> I'm Jess.
>> And today we're here to talk about the season finale of the vampire listat. And I gotta say right off the bat, it's not hitting for me. [laughter] Like I I don't know how you felt, but like at the end of the episode, I just kind of deflated back on the seat and I'm like, that's it.
>> It was in fact [laughter] Lat's failure.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. So, we're going to talk all details about this episode, so obviously spoilers ahead. Yeah. I don't know. I was really surprised at how this episode didn't hit that hard for me. I feel like we were just retreading a lot of the things that we already mostly know about Louis and Latad and the work that they need to do on themselves >> and they kind of just rehashed it again in like a different I more cinematic dreamlike style for each of them. But it was just like >> I don't know. I didn't feel like I got that much new in terms of like emotional satisfaction with these two people. Like I don't know. Am I am I tripping on this? No, it just felt like I mean literally we have Louis's head on a stick and he's being forced to admit something and it's things that they already know. Louis Lasat, they already know about themselves. They already know the truth of things. The whole chaos and drama and just like like just ridiculousness of their lives and every episode that we've gotten, I feel like they already know the truth deep down.
They do the things that they do, say the things that they say because they know the truth already. And I guess it's just it's more about >> I don't know for other characters. Like the scene with Louis and Arman really felt more like closure and it's just like I need this and it wasn't about Louis or Leat really. Yeah.
>> It just I don't know. I I for me I just sat there and I was just like okay. I was like a little emotional about certain scenes but I wasn't like this didn't feel new. This didn't I didn't feel hyped for anything. The way last episode ended, I was expecting like go go go action and and drama and more songs and stuff like [laughter] that. I don't know. I just felt deflated. Like I just >> Yeah. Yeah. It's cuz Yeah. We were left in such a strong cliffhanger. And I think we had a strong idea that these characters probably weren't going to die.
>> Well, I knew that. And also just I feel like there was like so much stuff to tie up like the the beginning scene with the auction, the great conversion, the queen accasha, but then I was also like how do you wrap things up in just one episode?
>> I didn't think it was going to be a wrap-up. I thought it was going to be bringing that stuff into the final season >> just for it to leave us like maybe on a cliffhanger of like what now? But they just kind of jump to it's just like all right, here's the now. We didn't tell you how and look forward maybe hopefully there better be another season of like what actually happened. I feel like that's what the next season would be.
>> Yeah.
>> How we got to that last scene.
>> I'll say this right now. I did not care for the whole Armand forcing Louis to make an apology through [ __ ] Sawlike torture. Like I just I didn't care because we didn't >> spend time with Louis and Arman the way that we did with Louis and Latad. And we always kind of felt that that was like such an inferior relationship that felt kind of forced. And I just didn't really I didn't feel it that much when Arman finally got his apology from Louis, which I think it was well acted. It was amazing acting. Like nothing wrong with the actors or anything. It just didn't feel any sort of gratifying feelings for me just because >> Armand is such a like a character that's like from a distance from us. Like we don't really care that much about him.
We already know he's a piece of [ __ ] It's fine to see him admit that he's like this pile of emptiness that he he described himself as. But when Louie finally got that apology out saying, "I'm sorry that I couldn't be that love for you that you needed, that cradle of love that you needed for what happened to you when you were 12." I could appreciate that, but also I just couldn't feel anything cuz I feel like we just didn't spend enough time and have a strong enough bond to that relationship.
>> Yeah. No, I I felt I felt for the 12year-old Arman, the one that like that seems to be the reason he's doing all of this. That's what he needs is this apology. There was a relationship there.
He did care. And maybe Louie did show him certain things that he holds dear and like meant a lot to him and then just for it to be taken away and ripped away and like, you know, Lasad and Louis's big romantic love story just tramples on everybody else's lives. So, I felt for that moment, but it also felt like you were really being this big ass villain for no reason just to get an apology. And I get it. Like, nobody want to talk to him. Like, I didn't the scenes earlier in the season where he's like, "Oh, I I I'm going to do my my 12 steps and I'm going to apologize and I have to." And I was just like, "I don't care. Get off my screen." So, like I get it. We not giving him a chance. Like, I I get it. So, this moment it was nice, but it also it felt kind of like all this is going on. there's so much there's something bigger happening and we had to insert you getting your apology. Um and then you just walk off and that's it. I thought he was going to play more of a role in my concern of the great conversion.
>> I mean, yeah, cuz he kept saying that he wanted to stop that [ __ ] Now I don't know where his place is and that he just walks off. I was like, you literally decapitated these two, separated Lestat's body from his head and you know the concert's coming up on like it's starting tonight and then you get an apology and then you just walk away and that's it. I'm like what what happened to stalling this thing? Like what's going on? Why is Daniel still suntanned like and and walking around in the daytime? Like I >> Yeah, we never got an answer to that either. I didn't expect everything to get wrapped up, but I expect certain things introduced previous episode and episode so before to be properly addressed here and possibly wrapped up.
>> But that that was a really good scene.
Um I was going to call her Claudia, but Regina, that was I I knew she was going to get wrapped up in something.
>> Same. When you deal with vampires, you you never get off easy.
>> I did want it to be a little higher staked. Not her turning, but you know, Arman controlling everybody with the word rest and having her do that, having her hurt herself and giving Louis the opportunity just like either you really care about her because of your ties to Claudia or you just care about this girl and you're going to let her die or you're going to give me what I want.
That that was a those were a really really good scene. I don't blame her. I know some people be like, "Oh, she was working with Arman the whole time." But >> she it from the sounds of things, it just doesn't sound like she really had a choice. when you deal with vampires, you really just can't say no.
>> Yeah. And I feel like she she's like, "Okay, yeah, I I know him, but like he was in my head." So, it was like a It felt like Louis in season 2 where it's just like, >> "I know him. I welcome him. I'm in a relationship with him, but he's also in your head, and you don't know that he's in your head, and you don't know if the things that you're doing is what you would be doing or what he wants you to do." Cuz he was reading word for word like the script of everything [clears throat] she said to Louis, and how he responded and how he creep.
>> Yes. And how he like planted her and it took like so many tries for him to like finally notice her. And I was just like, you want me to forgive and like you and feel bad for you and you keep doing these things.
>> That's why I can't I don't give a [ __ ] about Louis apologizing to Arman. It's not just because I didn't see their whole time together and get to care about them in any way.
>> This guy's just a manipulative [ __ ] [ __ ] He The only reason he ever gets an apology is because he forces it out of Louis through this demented ass method.
And I I'm sorry, but I don't see a justification for sticking Louis on a stick. Like I mean, he's a selfish bastard and he's an [ __ ] Yes. But I don't know if he did anything to deserve anything like that.
>> And then to bring in a whole just like vulnerable human person completely just trying to live her life and then manipulating her into this situation.
>> Yeah.
>> I'm just glad that she was able to get out of it. I don't know if she actually has a safe life after this. I hope >> she knows about >> Yeah. Cuz she has that warning saying like do don't snitch. Yeah, cuz this is the first time Arman let someone slip >> to to just let them live. So that that's big. That's a huge deal.
>> But man, it this just makes me hate Arman even more. And it makes me more glad that he loses at least an eyeball at the end of this. I want to know the context of that [ __ ] because it looked like they made amends or are mens with each other as he likes to call it, which >> more reasons to not like this guy. This [laughter] dude can't Oh my god. I did not care for any of these scenes. It really just felt like a roadblock to more important things. Like where are we with Louis and Lat right now? And this great conversion thing I feel like could have been developed a little bit more.
It doesn't have to conclude cuz it's only one episode. I just felt like we took away too much time from like bigger important things in in in light of just having Armand getting a forced apology.
There was we were waiting for the thing that he wanted. We just didn't know what it was exactly.
>> Turning everybody into a vampires. Get an apology from your ex. Like I just feel like we should focus on [laughter] the great version. Like I just like let's let's try to stop that and let's try to understand it a little. I still feel kind of in the dark about it. Like I know it's like oh turn everybody but it's just like but why? Who's really pushing this agenda? It doesn't it's not like Gabriella. It's not like her thing but she's a part of it.
>> Yeah. She's willing she's using Lat's music to fuel that fire. Yeah. And speaking of Lstat, we get into his head as well. Well, literally we're in his head because everything that's happening to Louis is real life. Lasat is in dreamland, La La Land, in between land.
He's at the long table and he's basically coming to terms with all the failures of his life.
>> And I thought that that was a really great well- filmed scene. But again, this also feels like a lot of rehashing of the things that we already know. It just feels like we're waiting for Lasat to catch up to what we know. [laughter] >> Yeah, that's Yeah. No, that's a great way to say it. I felt like it it along with Louie Lou is being forced to apologize to admit to something and then here Lasat in this >> he's like in limbo kind of cuz I think Gabriella kept saying you're not dead yet and then he's like I'm dying I'm dead and she's like no you're dying and like there's a difference. Um it it definitely felt like >> getting him to basically just admit to his failures. They're laying it all out and it's just like, "Okay, we know all of this." And he is avoiding all of it because I feel like we've had some previous Yeah, we've had some previous episodes where he's I feel like there's moments where he's just like, "Ah [ __ ] This this is all me. This is this is my fault. I [ __ ] this up." And but he he always pushes through. He just pushes past it. Pushes through. It's like what what's done is done. And I feel like this table rehashing everything, getting him to like admit that he is a failure.
Like he's like, "Okay, sure. But at least I tried." Like I've been I've been trying. Um >> I have mixed feelings on that line. Like tried at what? [laughter] >> I I also was just like, "Tried at what?"
But >> I feel like I'm going to be burned at the steak for saying that, but I'm like, "I'm sorry. Tried at what?" [laughter] >> Yeah. I I mean like thing I feel like things weren't easy for him as a human and I feel like things definitely weren't easy for him like >> in his beginning years as a vampire as well.
>> Yeah.
>> Um >> he had no stability in his life.
>> Yeah. So I feel like he's literally a product of that lack of stability. Then you give him the power to create more vampires. You could call these his children if anything. and they're either damaged and and messed up or he makes it worse based off the things that have happened in his human and his vampire life. I felt what he was saying. He's like, "Well, at least I tried." But I also was just like, "Tried at what?"
Then there's the problem of him kind of being like, I don't know. I want to say like he's given certain powers.
>> And I feel like it's not really much of his choice. It seems like he he's destined for greatness is is almost what they're saying. Or he could be better or he could be doing something great. But great in whose eyes?
>> Exactly.
>> You know, um, so you give him the responsibility of something great or he should be doing something better, but it's just like his life has been [ __ ] up so badly. What more do you what could you possibly expect from this this man like that? I I don't know if that's like okay to say. Like I don't know if you feel like if you get what I'm saying.
It's just like what is he supposed to be doing that's so great just because he has certain blood in him now? He should be doing something great and grand. Like I just >> Yeah. Yeah, they make it kind of vague because the only great thing that I can think of is him bringing back Accasha, but I feel like with the episode with Marius and and tending to Accasha, it never felt like he was trying to truly wake her up.
>> It was just felt like he was trying to keep her >> physically alive, but mentally and emotionally sedated. Mhm.
>> Again, I don't know if I'm right in my reading of that, but just based on that alone, it just felt like they expected Lasad to do something in involving Accasha or maybe being like the next great king or something instead of having Accasha because I feel like there was like some misogyny involved in keeping her sedated like that, especially with the monologue that she spouted out about why she's always like having to feel smaller and subjugated.
So, I don't know if that's what they were getting at, but I I just feel like Lasat needed to just make his way as a vampire and try to figure out what it is he truly wanted. And I think he he says that he tried partly in the sense of like I tried loving people, but it's also like you didn't do the part of the trying where you needed to like reflect and find out why these things weren't working. It was just like kind of a frustrating experience to like see these different vampire films like you you should have done great or you should have done more. And I'm just like I'm not sure what exactly you expected of him >> because every vampire has their own personal agenda regardless.
>> There's I've never seen like a whole group of vampires being like we need this one thing.
>> It's always just been if it's different individuals or different factions, they've always wanted different things when it comes to the world of vampirism.
Maybe when Latad says that he tried, I think he's referring to the fact that he at least tried like forming relationships the best way that he could. Mhm.
>> And trying not to be like his mother or not be like Magnus or whatever. But still >> at times he defin Yeah. He replicates that so much.
>> Yeah. Like the the scene where his mom took him to watch the the witches burning and when he was a kid. I man that that was an interesting scene for me because I was just like why did she bring him and force him to watch? But then when they're at the long table she keeps throwing like you stayed home till you were like 30. And then I was just like, did she want him to be able to leave this place, leave this town, go be a man, or just be something more than all the [ __ ] that they were accusing these women of? And she calls him cabbage.
>> Yeah.
>> At the table at one point, and I was just like, I don't feel like she's wrong, but And then I just feel like she's wrong um about a lot of things.
>> All you do is traumatize this boy.
>> Yeah. It it was definitely a a trauma.
And then like the way that she was with him as a mother. I think it seems like it makes sense that he was there till he was 30. He was crippled by her, crippled by his father, crippled by his his brothers as well. So it only made sense.
I don't see what having him watch these people burn for was going to really do but scare him.
>> Yeah.
>> I don't I don't feel like it did. And he did the same thing to um >> to Claudia to Claudia >> for some tough love.
>> Yeah. But I I don't know. I don't know if he he fully didn't understand why his mom did that.
>> Yeah. No, that's why he kept asking her, "Why did you take me to the burning?"
>> Exactly. So, I'm like, for him to do it to to Claudia was kind of just like I don't know. It was just more of that like abuse being passed down um without reason, without understanding it.
>> I I like seeing that scene, but at the same time, it just felt like that same rehashing complaint that I have of like I already know that Lat has repeated the same traumas that happened to him. It just again, it just feels like now we're seeing Lat catch up to that information, but I feel like he was aware enough already by the time we got here. I mean, parts of it was good to see him having to like see all the people that he turned into vampires and come to terms with the fact that, wow, I destroyed a lot of people's lives. I I even just straight up killed people and drained them for no reason. Like that Enzo guy.
>> Oh, yeah. No, after he [laughter] was just like, all right, guys, that's great with all the [ __ ] or whatever. He's like, I'm still headlining the show and I'm going to be great tonight. Whatever.
and then all the people that he's like ever killed. It was just like that was a pretty packed concert. Um [laughter] yeah, that that was an interesting scene. The best part though for me was when um Louis brother Paul shows up and for a second I was just like are these supposed to be all the people you killed? I was like did Lat kill? But I I don't think I think we established that he didn't kill Paul. Um it was just mental health. Um and he took his own life. I thought it was like interesting that he showed up cuz I saw someone walk like is that Paul? Is that Louis brother?
>> That's the first thing I said. I was like that's Paul. That's a big um and I liked seeing him again. Um and I thought it was interesting how he was just like Louie loves you. He just doesn't know how to show it because of you know it's always like some freaking parents and just >> specifically like patriarchy like toxic masculinity [ __ ] >> I know. And it was just like it was nice to see that and then we see like this this white light and I was like what's going on? Cuz I was like ain't no way that going to heaven. So >> I thought there I thought someone was sticking their head in the bowling bag again. Daniel, [laughter] I don't know. Daniel, I I know. I don't want to jump back like, but Daniel and the whole bowling scene and like him ranting to Lata, he's like, "Yeah, maybe. Sure. You're better looking than me. I'll give you that." But he's like, "Am I more talented?" Yeah. I'm just like, "Oh my god." So, [laughter] >> our mom passed that down to him. Um, I'm just like, "Oh my god, can you like shut up? Unless you're going to like do something amazing like I don't know, release another book, I need you to just [ __ ] off for a little bit because like he's just so annoying lately. I just h >> Yeah, I mean I kind of get it too. Like you you messed up his documentary with that that trick. So that would piss him off.
>> But yeah, by this point I was just like, "Dude, Daniel, I don't care what you do right now. Just I need something to pick up here." Like I wanted >> get the head back and let's move on. I wanted to jump back to Daniel and Arman possibly doing a romantic relationship thing. That still [ __ ] throws me off.
And that that just never connected by the end of this.
>> And it really just felt like two people just plotting because they got the same people that they hate.
>> That's ultimately what it felt like. So I don't know what this angle is with Arman saying like, you know, I've loved you all these 50 years that I've been stalking you. I wish that kind of >> came damn thing that man says he don't love nobody. I feel like anything is just like he's Yeah. He's planted it.
He's he's puppeteering the whole entire thing. And I'm just like you need to just let people choose and decide how they going to react to you and how if they want to be with you and if they want to feel anything for you because I'm like then you hear hurting your own damn feelings like [laughter] like it just doesn't make any sense. So I just I'm I'm good. I'm good with Arman. I'm good with Daniel for now and I don't care about their possible relationship.
That's not on my radar. I don't I don't care what anybody says about that. Don't tell me nothing about it cuz I don't care. I'm sick of them too.
>> I I will say I was kind of confused about the interaction with Daniel and Raglin from the Talamasa cuz >> what part? the the bowling scene where uh Raglin comes and takes Lat's head and then Daniel's pissed off like rightfully so because he was like I thought you guys wanted to stop the conversion but you're over here encouraging it and then he I thought there was going to be like a fight scene between the two cuz I was like why why did Daniel just bear his fangs at him for nothing >> and Raglin's human, right? So >> as far as I know he's a human and he's like a secret agent government guy but for the supernatural world.
>> Yeah. I was like cuz like the whole time every time the town maser showed up I'm like it's it everything you're doing sounds like you guys want this conversion thing to happen.
>> So again that felt like a moment of me seeing the characters having to catch up to what I already figured out or know. I just want to know certain things cuz this whole this Talamaska and great conversion thing you guys put this in this story and a lot of times it just feels too sidelined and too in the background when I feel like we should focus on a little bit more cuz that is a huge [ __ ] thing. Mhm.
>> And I I I would rather you don't have a great conversion story line if you're just going to push it off to the side for like a future season we may or may not get and really sharpen the the stories with the relationships with the different vampires cuz I felt like they were kind of competing for attention like these last couple episodes. So I just wish that the Raglin character and and the whole Talamasco world of this felt a little more blended into this. It always just felt like it turned into a different show for me whenever they would start talking about great conversion and then this creepy guy Raglin starts showing up and then just only says a few lines and then disappears.
>> And we see that Louis and Lasat, they reunite after Lasat's just like, "Yeah, so I just woke up on a bus. Everybody was there and they were just like, "Time to go perform. I need I need I need to talk this out. I need us to I need us to sit down in in a little circle, cup of tea, maybe [snorts] like a biscuit or something, and I need us to talk about what the [ __ ] just happened. Like, I know >> that just summarizes things.
>> I know we watched it, but I I don't know. I felt like I needed like a little bit more. I don't know. I needed I needed Louis reaction, Lat's reaction to talking about what Arman and Daniel did.
I don't know. Like I I I needed a conversation. I don't know if you felt like that.
>> Yeah. I because then it just it cuts to um the future which is we see that Lad shows that the destruction of the world while he's doing these audio tape recordings that we've been hearing the whole time.
>> Yeah.
>> And and I was just like wait this is the finale. We just we get a very brief moment on the bus. We just get a summary of Lasat saying Louis didn't really want to talk much about his time >> and then the the whole argument that he has with Gabriella about not wanting to perform.
>> But then we see that I'm I'm assuming the He must have performed because when when we when we see him finally doing his audio tapes that he's been recording the whole time, he reveals the destruction of the entire world basically at his window. And I'm like, "Okay, so you went through with the great conversion." I I So the whole I guess the whole of season 4 is going to be how he decided to Yeah.
>> along with the auction. And I was just like, "This feels like a convoluted, weird, [ __ ] up way of ending this season because I get it. This is a continuous story, but each season has to have some sort of some ending to that part of the story. This did not feel like an ending to me.
>> Yeah.
>> This just felt like you did too much setup in the last two minutes and I did not feel satisfied with the ending of this season. Do you think it would have been better if we I'm I'm thinking cuz the way the whole the whole season's been narrated. I'm thinking like would it have been better if we didn't know from like the jump that like something was up? either Lstat was dead or he did something like how season how the season opened >> and then we were left with the destruction of the world and we see Lasat talking to his tapes, recording his tapes and it's clear that he is the cause of all this like he played a part in this and we don't know why but I feel like throughout the season we kind of were we already were expecting this. We we were aware of it so it didn't feel like a big like holy [ __ ] M >> like rubble like rubble and like end of the world writing. I think once on the ground it said like she was here. I I don't know if I'm um forgetting that but I just felt like we already knew.
>> Then you try to be like oh look and I'm just like yeah I mean like that that was coming.
Um, >> yeah, cuz I mean I I mean I'm guessing there's a whole plot line with Akasha coming back. And I was just wondering like, okay, when when did where does she fit into Modern Time during this season?
Because we only got to see her in a flashback scene.
>> So, they just did a lot of setup for a potential of a season 4 without making this season finale feel satisfying as a conclusion.
>> I just felt like that there was too many moving parts here. I just really wanted more of like an emotional anchor, which I guess was supposed to be Louis and Latad seemingly getting back together again is what it felt like to me on that bus. But I was like, but there's so much else going on in the background that you made really important that you just ended up doing the Marvel route and being like postredit scenes and just continuing [ __ ] in the in the future.
>> And I'm like I don't really like that as like the way to end a season.
>> Yeah. I didn't I didn't really I don't think I reacted. I didn't feel anything.
I just was like >> I was like so just seven episodes >> this season next episode if if anything. But >> I don't know. Like you said this was a lot of like retelling of stuff that we already knew throughout the whole episode. Only like I don't know maybe 10 minutes of it felt like new stuff that was going on. And then they just plop this in and be like yeah [ __ ] got [ __ ] up. And I'm like, you didn't want to show me how or like, you know?
>> Yeah. I mean, I I'm looking forward to another season and I'm I'm assuming like the Queen of the Damn story might be part of that in some way. I just feel like there could have been a better way to integrate Louis and Lasad's turmoils that they deal with along with the bigger, larger world scale stuff. But it it's really turning out to be like, no, the world's going to get [ __ ] up. And I feel like that just turns it into a completely different story that I'm used to from season one and season two. Yeah.
>> Where it just feels like this romantic dark drama gothic like period piece of these two [ __ ] up people in a relationship and now we're introducing this larger scale thing. I just don't know if I if I want this kind of story now. Like I'm I'm kind of worried if like the bigger scale stuff will get in the way of what made the show great in the first place for me. Yeah.
>> Um I don't know if you have the same concerns, but that's kind of how I felt at the end of >> I do now that you said it. [laughter] >> After it ended, I I just I didn't feel riled up like I usually do after each episode, all the other episodes. I'm just like excited and like, "Oh my god, I can't wait for more." I mean, I can't wait for more. I'm hoping that there will be another season, but um the way this ended, I just Okay. I was going to give it the most potato.
>> Oh, really? I didn't know you were liking it that much.
>> I did. I really liked it. Um, but I think I'm just going to give it a loaded potato.
>> Um, and I think this last episode really brought it down for me. That Yeah, I was going to give it the most potato, but because of the way that it ended, um, this episode, not just like the very ending, but the whole episode, it kind of brought it down for me. And I don't know if like if we get another season and I'm able to like watch that, re-watch everything and watch it, would my rating then change? But I feel like it's always it's bad TV to like still do a [ __ ] season finale and then be like, "Okay, the next season's going to really give you what you want." It's just like, "No, >> let me end in high hopes and and happiness and looking forward to something and I don't want to feel deflated at the end of a of a season of something that I've been enjoying."
Yeah. Something I've enjoying for the for two seasons ago. I I was enjoying it and and now I'm just like [sighs] >> baked potato for me.
Wow.
>> It's I was going for a loaded potato for for like a good couple episodes and then this episode brought it down to a baked potato for me.
>> It's still a good time. I think this season is good. I don't think it's as good as season 1 or two cuz it was an adjustment period for me in terms of like the style, the the the mood of the the whole thing. But it's also a change because now we're focused on Lat's perspective and everything with him is bombastic. It's it's super playful. It's funny and just way zenier than when we just focus on them two or just Louis. I was going to give it loaded potato. And then this ending, I did not expect it to make me feel so o underwhelmed and deflated as a standalone story, as a standalone season. I It just doesn't have that complete arc for me. It doesn't have that feeling of completion with the room of a new story afterwards.
It just feels like, oh, you want a complete story, you're going to have to wait for hopefully the next season. Mhm.
>> So, for me, it it's just it's it left a lot to be desired for me for the finale, and that alone is enough to bring it down to a a baked potato for me. It's still good. You can still eat this up.
It's just it's not the spiciest. It's not the most interesting. It's not the tastiest compared to what we got in season 1 and two.
>> I I just got to give it the baked potato. Those are all our thoughts on the vampire list as a season overall and also this episode.
>> Yes.
>> So, let us know all your thoughts in the comments below. How did you feel about this finale? Are we crazy for not liking this? What are your predictions for next season? Again, no book spoilers, please.
Thank you for that.
>> No book spoilers and no trying to call people certain things that they clearly are not because you want to be wrapped up in your feelings in those comments.
Um, you guys know who you are. be mad or not, but um let's keep the comments respectable since I don't know you and you don't know me and I'm just discussing a TV show, an episode of a TV series, let's keep it let's keep it cute and and if we forgot something and someone reminds us and you come and you want to remind us too, go to the comments before you remind us so I don't keep getting that reminder cuz it it's not that deep. And with that, [laughter] make sure to like the video, make sure to subscribe, hit notification bells, share this video with your friends, your vampire bands, your vampire relationships [music] that you failed throughout the years. Yeah. With that, we'll see you guys on the next one.
Peace.
