But ah ah ah ah ah, history tells a DIFFERENT STORY. THE RIGHT to vote for black people in this country has never been given freely. Was paid for with blood, sweat, tears, bodies in the ground. It has always been contested, resisted, and yes, attacked in multiple ways, on multiple fronts, and that has been unrelenting.
