Childhood prank trauma unlocked Don’t prank me

[00:00:02]So, I'm not really getting all of this el- these elves on the shelves because, you know, all this mischief. I don't I don't think that is a good thing to promote. But anyway, I don't have no little kids, but I was glad to see a video where um these elves had the kiddos make lava lamps. And they had to follow the instructions and pour some secret liquid and blah blah blah and drop the pill in and made a lava lamp. And I was like, "That is so cool." And I was reading the comments and folks are saying, "Cuz I don't like pranks." And exactly, I do not like pranks. And it took me back to when I was in the fourth grade. I had a a a group of about three friends and they decided that it would be funny if they would pretend all day that they were mad at me.

[00:00:54]We we walked together, they wouldn't say anything, they would like, you know, roll their eyes and ignore me and not talking.

[00:01:02]At the end of the day, they said, "April fools."

[00:01:15]April [music] fools. Like, you literally went all day [music] without talking to me. You put me through emotional trauma.

[00:01:22]Y'all got together and decided that that would be a funny thing to do. And anyway, to this day, don't prank [music] me.

[00:01:29]Anybody who knows me and loves me knows.

[00:01:32]If you trying to Yeah, we going to pretend that we I can't [music] Listen, I can't even think of a scenario in which anybody that I know would come together [music] and decide they were going to trick me and think it was funny cuz I don't think that's funny. [music] And don't worry because I'm never going to trick you. I'm never going to trick you. I'm It doesn't even occur to me that I'm going to >> [music] >> Um, a lie. And don't don't even lie and and uh you [music] know, say you was just playing. You you're just lying.

[00:02:02]I'm not going to lie to you. [music] I'm not going to trick you. And so, I just like that to be reciprocal. And I don't really know who I'm talking about and talking to. I'm just, you know, [music] putting a blanket statement >> [music] >> out there cuz I don't think that's funny. I don't think these little elves putting stuff in the toilet [music] and cutting up clothes and doing stuff like that is funny because if your kid turn around [music] and start cutting up your pajamas, then you'll be trying to be mad at them. So, I'm just saying you might want to [music] look into the um you know, those like nice stem elf behaviors.
