[00:01:40]No matter what they're doing, they never drift far from each other. Each Milly loves coming over and curling up in my lap. She closes her eyes when she's being pet, and sometimes she just wants to sit quietly beside you. She even climbs inside my sweater sometimes. Scarlett, on the other hand, is unbelievably energetic. She's constantly climbing on things. She's carrying her toys around and bothering Millie non-stop to get her to play. And by nature, she loves chewing on absolutely everything.

[00:02:23]No matter what they're doing, they never drift far from each other. Each They push each other around, roll across the floor, and seconds later, they're curled up together again. One of my favorite moments is when they finally get tired.

[00:02:41]After Scarlett runs out of energy, she comes over and curls up beside Millie.

[00:02:47]And Millie quietly leans against her.

[00:02:51]In that moment, you instantly forget all the chaos they caused.

[00:02:56]Most people don't realize how emotional and social prairie dogs really are.

[00:03:02]But Millie and Scarlett taught me something important. For some animals, the most important thing isn't toys or big spaces.

[00:03:13]It's simply having someone beside them who makes them feel safe.

[00:03:18]And sometimes two tiny little friends can become the biggest source of happiness in a home.

[00:03:25]They don't ask us for much. They're simply looking for a small world where they can live without fear. And when they're shown love, they give it back in the purest way possible.
