An advanced interrupt macro for Mythic+ dungeons that automatically handles multiple scenarios: if a focus target exists, it interrupts that target; if no focus target exists, it tab targets to the nearest casting mob, interrupts it, and seamlessly returns to the player's original target without visible target frame switching. This macro is particularly valuable in pug (pick-up group) situations where team coordination is minimal, allowing players to efficiently interrupt important casts on any mob to contribute to the group's success.

Mythic+ Players Are Using This Macro For A ReasonAdded:
Hey, what's up, guys? My name is Jaddeth. I know I've been away for a little while. I haven't posted a video in almost a month. I've been going through some personal, real-life struggles and troubles, and things of that [music] sort. But, I'm here and trying to hop back on the horse. So, I decided to record a little video that I think might be helpful for a lot of you who are starting to push Mythic Plus and trying to get to 3,400 to [music] get that new fancy mount. Now, before I go into it, I do have to say this was not my discovery. This is not anything [music] to do with me. This is something that I saw Now, actually, post over on It was Twitter or TikTok, basically talking about this macro. So, first and foremost, credit goes to Now, or wherever Now found it. But, this is an interrupt macro that will help you immensely. So, typically, in the past, you would use a macro like this, where it would interrupt [music] your focus target, if you had one. If you didn't have one, it would just [music] interrupt your regular target. Well, now we have a new macro that is [music] a lot longer. It's about 10 lines long.
It will kick your focus, if you have one. If you do not have a mob focused, it will automatically tab target to the nearest casting mob, interrupt it, and then return you to your target that you had last, [music] seamlessly. You won't even see your target frame switch. It will just instantly kick that mob. So, this is obviously really, really good for pug situations, where you don't have any coordination between your team members. You can run into a pack, and you might know that there is a very important kick that you need to get. And in that case, you [music] can focus that mob, and make sure you kick that mob.
But, if you're just running in, and there's a bunch of bolts being cast, and you want to be as useful to your group as you possibly can, and just kick anything to help out, you can use this macro, and it will help you do that. So, I'll have this macro down in the description of this video. It'll also be in my Discord. We have a lot of great resources for Devour and Havoc and pretty much just any wild gameplay. Lots of stuff in there for you to check out.
Lots of cool people for you to meet and learn from. Now, one more thing before I let you go. There's also a set focus macro that I think you should have. And it's a very simple one. It's just {slash} focus {space} mouseover. And I have this set to a mouse button, one of my side mouse buttons, so I can just go over to this target here, put my mouse over it, and click on that macro, and you can see it set it as my focus. So, now whenever I use that kick macro that we just made, the really big one, >> [music] >> if he's casting, it will interrupt it.
If he's not casting, but there's a mob over here that is casting, you'll still kick that one. It'll tab target over to it, kick it, and come back to your main [music] target without you even seeing any change in your target frame. So, there you go. Like I said, these macros will be down in the description of this video and in my Discord. Things have been a little rough for me lately, so I apologize for the lack of videos, but we're trying to get back there. I think there's a lot to be said about mental health and the strain that comes on creators, and I can see that manifesting in some of my colleagues as well. We have Voodu taking a step back. Content creation is a lot more than what you guys might think. It's not just playing your favorite video game all day, every day, and getting paid for it. It's trying to make ends meet. It's going through the regular struggles of life and the the tragedies while still having to put on a smile and have your on personality every time you get on stream. It's tough, and I know some of you might think it's not, and that's okay. But, thanks for watching. I hope you guys have a great day, and I'll see you next time.
Peace.
