[00:03:37]UNFORTUNATELY, [screaming] THERE HAVE BEEN TWO WEAKNESSES.

[00:03:43]ONE, IN THE MODERN CHURCH WORLD TODAY, THE MANIFESTATION OF TRUE PROPHETS [screaming] AND TRUE APOSTLES HAVE BEEN extremely rare.

[00:04:20]Now, WE'VE GOT A LOT OF SO-CALLED SELF-MADE PROPHETS.

[00:04:26]AND THAT'S WHAT I TALKED TO YOU ABOUT WHEN WE FIRST STARTED, PEOPLE TAKING UPON THEMSELVES CALLINGS THAT GOD never did give them.

[00:04:43]OR PEOPLE WHO RECEIVED THEIR CALLINGS FROM SOMEBODY ELSE.

[00:04:56]YOU KNOW, PROPHECY IS A VERY SHAKY MANIFESTATION.

[00:05:13]I VERY SELDOM EVER PROPHESY OVER ANYBODY.

[00:05:23]HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOU GO TO TODAY THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY KNOW are real apostles of God, not in name, but in actual fact manifestation and demonstration?

[00:05:41]Now, THE OTHER WEAKNESS IS THIS, THAT THERE'S BEEN AN OVERALL OVERALL FAILURE WITHIN THE BODY OF CHRIST THAT WHEN THERE IS A TRUE MANIFESTED APOSTLE, AND WHEN THERE IS A TRUE MANIFESTED PROPHET, THERE'S AN OVERALL FAILURE TO GIVE THAT OFFICE, AS IT IS MANIFESTED IN TRUTH, IS AN OVERALL failure to give it its proper place.

[00:06:37]AND THERE IS A STRONG WEAKNESS OF COMING INTO RELATIONSHIP WHERE WE ARE [screaming] WILLING TO COME UNDER THE AUTHORITY [screaming] OF AN APOSTLE OR A PROPHET OR ONE OF THESE FIVEFOLD MINISTRIES, THE PASTOR.

[00:07:14]IF THE STRUCTURE IS GOING TO WORK, IT'S GOING TO HAVE TO WORK [screaming] WITH THE INTENTION THAT GOD HAD FOR IT.

[00:07:26]AND GOD DIDN'T INTEND US TO BE LOOSE, RUNNING RAMPANT HERE AND THERE.

[00:07:37]AND GOD DIDN'T INTEND FOR US TO HAVE THE DISREGARD THAT WE HAVE AS MEMBERS OF THE BODY OF CHRIST for pastors.

[00:07:55]NOW, WE'VE GOT NOBODY TO BLAME BUT OURSELVES, PASTORS.

[00:08:00]BECAUSE WE'VE ALLOWED OURSELVES TO GET UNDER THE STRUCTURE OF MAN.

[00:08:10]WE'RE ORGANIZING ACCORDING TO WASHINGTON, D.C., NOT ACCORDING TO GOD.

[00:08:18]GOD, NOW, PLEASE, I DON'T KNOW. I TOLD YOU I WAS GOING TO STAND UP HERE AND I WAS GOING TO PRAY THAT I COULD TALK TO YOU EXACTLY LIKE JESUS WOULD IF JESUS WAS STANDING HERE.

[00:08:38]WASHINGTON, D.C., SAYS YOU GOT TO HAVE A BOARD.

[00:08:45]BUT I NEVER DID FIND ANY PLACE IN THE BIBLE WHERE GOD SAID YOU HAD to have a board.

[00:08:56]AND THEN IT'S A STRANGE THING, AFTER THEY GET IN THOSE POSITIONS FOR A LITTLE WHILE, THEN THEY KNOW BETTER THAN THE PASTOR.

[00:09:08]THEY KNOW BETTER THAN THE MAN OF GOD WHO WAS CALLED OF GOD TO GO INTO THAT CITY, WHO BROUGHT [screaming] THE CHURCH INTO BEING WHERE IT ONLY HAD FIVE MEMBERS OR NO MEMBERS, AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN, IT'S GOT A THOUSAND MEMBERS, AND THEY WANT TO RUIN IT.

[00:09:33]IT'S FUNNY HOW THEY DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING TO CRITICIZE WHEN YOU WERE RIDING AROUND IN A MODEL T FORD AND DRIVING AN OLD JUNKY JALOPY.

[00:09:44]BUT NOW, BECAUSE GOD'S PROSPERED YOU AND THE CHURCH HAS GROWN, AND YOU'VE GOT A NEW CADILLAC, YOU'RE ROBBING THE PEOPLE.

[00:11:03]The ministry OF THE FIVEFOLD CHURCH, THE PASTOR'S NOT WILLING TO COME UNDER THE authority of an apostle.

[00:11:20]THERE'S A TOTAL [screaming] DISREGARD FOR THE OFFICES THAT GOD [screaming] WANTS IN HIS DIVINE STRUCTURE. BUT I PROPHESY TO YOU, GOD'S GOING TO HAVE A PEOPLE.

[00:11:36]THOSE PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE STRONG.

[00:11:38]THEY'RE GOING TO BE POWERFUL. THEY'RE NOT GOING TO BE STRONG AND POWERFUL, BROTHER, BECAUSE EVERYBODY'S RUNNING LOOSEY-GOOSEY WILD. WELL, I GOT >> [screaming] >> TO SPEAK TO ME AS HE ALWAYS HE CAN SPEAK TO YOU. DON'T YOU KID YOURSELF.

[00:11:56]GOD DOESN'T SPEAK TO YOU LIKE HE SPEAKS TO MORRIS.

[00:12:07]GOD DIDN'T SPEAK TO THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL LIKE HE SPOKE [screaming] TO MOSES.

[00:12:13]DON'T YOU FOOL YOURSELF.

[00:12:20]WHEN WE BECOME THAT BODY, WHERE WE'RE ALL KNIT TOGETHER, EVERY JOINT SUPPLYING WHAT THE OTHER JOINT NEEDS. OH, GLORY TO GOD. WATCH IT, BROTHER.

[00:12:34][screaming] WHEN WE ARE PUT TOGETHER UNDER GOD'S DIVINE ORDER OF AUTHORITY, WATCH [screaming] OUT, DEVIL.

[00:12:43]LOOK OUT, HERE WE COME.

[00:12:53]COME ON. GIVE THEM A CLAP.

[00:12:55]I WAS praying one day, lying on the floor in my hotel room in Grenada, and I was so discouraged. Young man, way back in the early '60s, I felt so down.

[00:13:15]Now, I'm laying on the floor and I'm having a little talk with God.

[00:13:20]And how many of you know, just a little talk with Jesus will make everything all right.

[00:13:28]>> [applause] >> So, anyhow, I'm talking to the big man.

[00:13:33]I'm talking to God.

[00:13:35]And I I'm so discouraged and God speaks to me, not audibly, but he speaks into my spirit and he says to me, "Morris, I love you.

[00:13:46]Why are you so discouraged?

[00:13:50]The whole island is coming out.

[00:13:53]The place is turned upside down. The deaf are hearing.

[00:13:57]Cripples walking.

[00:14:00]Thousands are getting saved every night and you're sitting there lying on the floor, so discouraged."

[00:14:08]I said, "Yeah, I'm discouraged."

[00:14:11]God said, "Why?"

[00:14:16]I said, "I don't know."

[00:14:20]>> [laughter] >> Does that sound like you?

[00:14:26]Are we kind of alike?

[00:14:29]Huh? Ever do that?

[00:14:31]You get discouraged and then you try to find out the reason why you're discouraged and you don't [clears throat] know why you're discouraged.

[00:14:39]I had my Bible alongside of me and I'm hugging my Bible and I said, "You know, God, I said, "Look at all these wonderful people in the Bible.

[00:14:50]I said, "If I could just be like one of them, I I I would be so happy."

[00:15:00]Anybody ever look at somebody in the Bible and wish you could be like them?

[00:15:05]Huh?

[00:15:07]Well, I'm glad I'm not alone.

[00:15:12]So, God says to me, "Who would you like to be like?"

[00:15:17]Now, I'm a young man, remember, way back in the early '60s.

[00:15:22]I said, "Anybody, God." God said, "Tell me who."

[00:15:27]I said, "I'd like to be like Moses."

[00:15:32]Good choice, huh?

[00:15:35]And God said, "Why do you want to be like him for? Tell me." I said, "Well, look at him.

[00:15:41]I said, "Moses was so meek and so tender." And I said, "Look at Look at the experiences Moses life."

[00:15:52]And I said, "Look at me, Lord.

[00:15:56]I said, "I'm not as meek. I'm not as humble as I ought to be."

[00:16:01]Anybody ever feel like that? You're not as humble as you ought to be?

[00:16:06]Ever feel like that?

[00:16:10]So, God said to me, "Mo- Morris, you know, my my actually my name means Moses in the Hebrew, Moisha.

[00:16:20]Morris, Moisha means Moses. So, that was kind of a slip of the tongue.

[00:16:26]But he said to me, "Son, have you Have you ever directly disobeyed me?"

[00:16:37]And I started to think and I said, "No.

[00:16:41]I cannot remember a time in my life, even now, 63 years later, when God asked me to do something, no matter how hard, no matter how difficult, no matter what the price was, I never ever had said no."

[00:16:59]And you just missed your good No, too late. Too late.

[00:17:02]Too late.

[00:17:14]God said to me, "Moses, see, as great a man as he was, and as much as I revealed myself to him, talked to him, saw my presence, disobeyed me."

[00:17:38]God said, "So much was this act, I didn't let him go into the promised land. Can you imagine that?

[00:17:48]After all Moses went through and after all he did for God, you know what God said to me? I'm lying on the floor, crying. He said to me, "Next."

[00:18:10]This is a real experience.

[00:18:15]I said, "All right, Lord." Cuz there's a lot of great things about Moses, but this was just that one time. So, I said, "Okay, Lord, forget Moses. I said, "Let me be like Let me be like Abraham."

[00:18:30]God said, "Abraham?"

[00:18:35]Now Now, Morris, why do you want to be like Abraham?"

[00:18:39]I said, "Well, God, look at Abraham's life." I SAID, "MAN, THIS MAN HAD A MASTERFUL FAITH."

[00:18:49]AND God said to me, "Do you love Teresa?"

[00:18:55]I said, "TERESA?" I SAID, "WHAT DOES MY LOVE FOR TERESA GOT TO do with my strong desire to have faith like Abraham? Because I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH FAITH."

[00:19:10]ALL RIGHT, COME on now. Let me honest hands in this building. How many of you have ever said to God, "I don't have enough faith?"

[00:19:22]>> [snorts] >> So, God said to me, "Do you love Teresa?" I said, "Of course I love Teresa."

[00:19:29]He said, "What would you do if a knock come on your door in the middle of the night.

[00:19:38]You open the door and there stood three big, husky, strong men and they barged their way into your house and they said to you, "Give us your wife."

[00:20:02]For a moment I forgot I was talking to God.

[00:20:07]>> [screaming] >> I said, you know, I was thinking, "You're God, and you don't know what I WOULD DO?"

[00:20:24]I TOLD HIM, I SAID, "YOU know what I do?

[00:20:27]I'd pick up the nearest chair, anything I could get in my hands. I said, 'I'll kill him.'"

[00:20:36]I said, "Christian or no Christian, make no difference.

[00:20:41]I'LL KILL HIM."

[00:20:48]GOD SAID, "I KNOW, MORRIS, you you would do that."

[00:20:53]But he said, "Abraham didn't."

[00:20:57]I said, "What do you mean?"

[00:20:59]He said he gave his wife away.

[00:21:05]To a ruler.

[00:21:08]To sleep with her.

[00:21:11]So he could try to protect his life.

[00:21:17]And God said, "If I didn't come and intervene in that experience, I would have had to wipe out the whole nation."

[00:21:26]So all of a sudden lying on that floor, I thought, "Well, maybe I don't want to be like Abraham."

[00:21:39]You know, we want to be like people until you find out some of their weaknesses.

[00:21:46]Oh, don't look at me with that look.

[00:21:50]People are not the things that we're supposed to follow, but we do anyhow.

[00:21:57]You missed a good place to say amen.

[00:21:59]It's all right.

[00:22:01]It's all right.

[00:22:02]So Now God speaks to me again. He says, "Next."

[00:22:11]You would have thought that two times, you know, I had enough.

[00:22:18]But no, because we're human, right?

[00:22:22]We're human.

[00:22:25]And I said, "All right, GOD." I SAID, "Give me one more chance."

[00:22:30]He said, "All right, who?" I said, "Let me be like David."

[00:22:37]Yeah, you know the answer to that, don't you?

[00:22:42]God said, "What do you want to be LIKE DAVID FOR?" I SAID, "BECAUSE LOOK AT DAVID. LOOK AT THE PSALMS." I SAID, "HE HAD A HEART THAT PAINTED AFTER YOU." I SAID, "GOD, I DON'T love you enough. I don't search FOR YOU ENOUGH. I DON'T cry out for you enough." Anybody here ever say that to God?

[00:23:03]Well, you know what God told me about David, don't you?

[00:23:07]He said, "Did you ever kill anybody?" I said, "No." He said, "Did you ever take anybody else's wife?" I said, "No."

[00:23:14]He kept going on and on and on. He said, "David did. David did. David did."

[00:23:22]Now, can you imagine here I am, a young man, chosen by God, trusting to the nations of the world. I am conducting crusades that are shaking entire cities, lying on the floor in desperation.

[00:23:39]And I started to cry.

[00:23:43]I said, "I understand, God."

[00:23:47]What you're trying to tell me.

[00:23:51]>> [gasps] >> It's not who we are.

[00:23:58]It's not what we possess.

[00:24:03]But it's what God can make of us.

[00:24:10]>> [applause] [applause] >> Anybody here want God to divinely intervene in your life and do something for you that will bring honor and glory to his NAME AND ENABLE YOU TO REPRESENT HIM IN THE DEMONSTRATION AND THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
