Sources tell CBS News the Justice Department is expected to unveil criminal charges today against Cuba's former leader, Raul Castro. The 94-year-old is the brother of long-time dictator Fidel Castro. US officials told CBS News earlier this month that he is being indicted on charges related to Cuba's 1996 shoot down of planes operated by the humanitarian group Brothers to the Rescue. Three US citizens and one US resident working for Brothers to the Rescue were killed. Raul Castro formally stepped down as the leader of Cuba's Communist Party in 2021.
