Human-caused global warming is raising baseline temperatures, making heatwave events more intense and dangerous when they occur; this is evidenced by early-season temperature records being broken by significant margins (up to 2°C), with June records being broken while it is still May, indicating that each summer will be hotter on average than previous years.

Scientist warns heatwaves are becoming more dangerous追加:
whether heatwave events are becoming more frequent or more intense, the underlying temperatures, because of human-caused warming, are becoming hotter, and that means that when these heatwaves do occur, they are more intense and more dangerous.
In general, these would be unusually high temperatures for any time of year, but for for this early in the year, before summer has really started, they're really extreme. We've seen temperature records broken um by really big margins. Actually, I think in some regions, June temperature records have been broken, and it's still only May. And some of those records have been broken by as much as 2°, which is absolutely massive.
This is a a very unusual atmospheric event.
Um so, it doesn't really tell us about how the rest of the summer will look, but what we do know is that, like all summers, this summer will be hotter on average than last year and than than all years previously due to human-caused warming.
