Most of your negative thoughts aren’t from now…they’re from the past #mentalhealth #overthinkingAdded:
Any negative thought that you're getting today, where [music] is it really coming from? Look closely. It's not coming from this moment. [music] It's coming from the past.
Before I continue, save this video for the days your mind pulls you back [music] there because in the present moment, there is no negativity. There is no judgment.
There is only what is. Every negative thought, [music] every fear, every doubt is a memory echoing [music] inside your mind. And the more you stay there, the more it becomes your identity.
Not because it is true, but because you keep returning to it. If you live in the past, the past [music] becomes your life.
And then something deeper happens. You begin to close yourself to what is trying to come into your life now.
If you were hurt before, you went to new [music] situations with fear.
If you lost something before, you expect to lose again. [music] If you were disappointed before, you stop allowing yourself to receive.
[music] And this is how the mind blocks life itself. Not because life is not giving, [music] but because you are not open to receive.
So, what can you do [music] right now?
Pause for a moment. Take a slow breath in through your nose and [music] exhale slowly through your mouth. Again. And as you breathe out, imagine you're releasing a small part of the past. You don't need to let go of everything at once. Just a little. Bring someone or something to mind that you're still holding on to and quietly say, "I release this.
I forgive.
Not for them, but for me."
Then gently return your attention to this moment, to your breath, to your body, to where you are right now.
This is how you begin to disconnect from the past, not by fighting it, but by no longer feeding it.
Holding on to the past is not just painful. It keeps you stuck. And when you remain there, you cannot move forward. You cannot receive what is meant for you. So, gently ask yourself, "What am I still holding on to?
And is it worth carrying any longer?"
If you've watched this far, comment "release" and I'll send you the short guide I created to help you let go and find calm again.
