[00:00:00]Morning about the health update of Mr. Sonam Mangchus. He is still receiving medical treatment at VMMC and Sabjan Hospital of Delhi under the supervision of a multidisciplinary team which includes experts from All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi and Saptajan Hospital. At present his vitals are stable however his blood sugar level continuously remains on the lower side and he has sent his blood sample yesterday night for his electrolyte and potassium was found to have 3.2 milli equivalents per liter. He continues to have persistent pancytopenia that is characterized by anemia means his hemoglobin is low and he has got a low leukocyte count. The clinical and lab parameters are well and continued close monitoring through the serial investigations. He is currently receiving oral rehydration therapy and is taking oral potassium supplements in the form of a syrup, but he is still continuously declining to get the intravenous therapy and any kind of glucose administration back to health. Ah in view of this ongoing mild to moderate dehydration which is having ah persistent laboratory abnormalities and the physiological stress which is associated with the prolonged fasting. Ah he requires sustained medical supervision and continuous [sound of clearing throat] clinical monitoring.

[00:01:46]It is essential for the recovery and for the timely identification of any complications, if any, and for the treatment. All the necessary medical care is being provided by the multidisciplinary team at Satyajang Hospital and the clinical condition remains under the closed observation. [00:02:31]Shri Sonam Wangchuk ji is still under our constant monitoring at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Satjang Hospital.

[00:02:46]He is being looked after by a multidisciplinary team of ours which includes doctors from Saptajung Hospital as well as doctors from All India Institute of Medical Sciences. In that, as of this morning, the condition of Mr. Sonam Mangchuk 's vital parameters are all stable.

[00:03:07]But their blood sugar level keeps fluctuating. A. Yesterday night we had sent his sample in which serum potassium was done.

[00:03:18]Serum potassium has decelerated to 3.2 mill equivalents.

[00:03:25]A pancytopenia is persistently appearing in his reports. Paracytopenia means they have anemia and their leukocyte count is lower than normal.

[00:03:39]Their hemoglobin anemia means their hemoglobin is also low. This pancytopenia requires constant and close monitoring due to the variations in fluctuating glucose levels and potassium levels.

[00:04:01]Even today, Mr. Sonam Mangchak is drinking water orally, that is, through his mouth, and he is taking ORS in it.

[00:04:11]Along with this he also takes potassium syrup.

[00:04:15]But he still refuses to take intravenous therapy. And even today he is refusing to take glucose intravenous administration and any form of glucose.

[00:04:27]Considering that he has mild dehydration and his lab tests show fluctuations and it has been 23 days now. The prolonged fasting of 22-23 days is a kind of medical stress on their body. So, he needs continuous medical care so that he can recover as quickly as possible and if he has any kind of complication, it can be identified as early as possible and he can be treated timely, so all the medical care that he needs is being provided to him in Sabzang Hospital and we are doing very intensive and close monitoring on him, which we call we are testing him again and again and we have kept him under close observation. His further management means how he should proceed, this future strategy will be decided only after observing him daily and looking at his clinical parameters.
