[00:00:00]We're just getting ready to do the live show, but we have some insane breaking news. I mean, I think it's great news.

[00:00:05]It's unfortunate it happened, but police in Long View, Washington, just arrested the local public school superintendent for, among other charges, failure to report, tampering with a witness, and obstruction of a law enforcement investigation. So, this stems from an issue we've talked so much about on the show where you have these allegations of, you know, sexual misconduct that will arise in public schools and you have school districts that try to handle these investigations internally instead of doing what they're mandated to do under law, which is report those allegations to law enforcement. We've done stories like this in the Puallup School District, the Olympia School District. charges are never brought against school administrators who decide that they're going to handle these things internally and failed to report.

[00:00:53]Well, not in Long View, Washington. So, not only is the superintendent under arrest, but they say that charges are forthcoming against another school administrator. Basically, there were allegations that there was student on student uh sexual assault and and other misconduct, and the school decided, we're going to bury this, not send it off to law enforcement, try to investigate it internally. And now this superintendent, one of the charges tampering with a witness is a felony charge. We'll have more today on the live show.
