[00:00:06]For horses prone to laminitis or horses with metabolic issues, timing matters a lot. Grass sugar is usually lowest in the early mornings because the plant has used up all of its stored sugar overnight. But once the sun comes out, that plant has all the sunlight it needs to create more and more sugar through photosynthesis, meaning that early afternoon into late evening is when sugar in the grass is at its highest.
