Jennings delivers a blunt, necessary reality check for those trying to merge modern Zionism with Christian doctrine. He correctly identifies that supporting a Third Temple isn't just a political stance, but a fundamental rejection of the core tenets of the New Testament.

Take Your Pick - Either Jesus Christ or the Third Temple!
Added:Truth in History with Charles A.
Jennings.
Hello.
>> [snorts] >> We hear a lot these days about the third temple.
Christian Zionists are very excited about supporting something that is actually against the word of God.
It really boggles my mind in my imagination how anyone that calls themselves a Christian can support this concept of building a third temple over in Jerusalem.
or anywhere else.
It's a denial.
The very concept of a third temple is a denial of the efficacy of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Here lately, I have been talking about Zionism, the Zionist, and Judaism's attitude towards Jesus Christ, their hatred of the Christ, their opposition to his ministry, his his very person.
I've been talking a lot about that, but this gets to the very heart of the matter.
Who is Jesus Christ?
What did he accomplish in his ministry and in his crucifixion?
Was it something that brought an end to an old order of animal sacrifice in the Old Testament?
Does it mean anything to the current Christian Zionist who stands in the pull pit and screams, "We stand with Israel."
You know, I was watching a preacher on the YouTube as recently as last night.
Central Church of God in Charlotte, North Carolina, seemed like a good man.
Says a lot of good things.
And he made a statement concerning the Godhead.
He was talking about the deity of Christ.
And he said that the Mormons and the Jehovah Witnesses, they deny the deity of Christ. And possibly they do. I haven't studied them that deeply, but I understand that they do deny the deity of Jesus Christ.
If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.
And then he went on to say, they're lost.
They cannot be saved because they deny the deity of Jesus Christ.
And he quoted that scripture in the epistle of John and says, "He that denies the son and the father."
If you deny the son, you deny the father. And he's right there.
But yet he turned right around and said that he stands with Israel.
He stands with Judaism.
who really denies the father and the son more than any other religion.
It's Judaism.
But yet, he let those people off the hook because they're, as he says, God's chosen people.
But yet he deni he uh he condemned the Jehovah Witness and the Mormons because they denied the deity of Jesus Christ.
Says you can't be saved.
No, you can't be saved if you deny the son because if you deny the son, you deny the father.
He's right about that.
But why condemn these two groups and condone what the other group teaches.
One man several years ago on on he had a television program his name was Ern Baxter and I listened to him quite a bit. He was a a strong strong Zionist.
And he said one day that he actually saw over in the secular state of Israel the furniture for the new temple.
And he was raising money for the temple.
And he went so far as to say that he was raising money. He was hoping to raise, I think it was $10 million to help support the concept of a third temple.
also to educate some young Jewish rabbis or Levites, I think he called them, to execute and carry out all the ceremonies in this third temple.
And he even made a most ridiculous statement and that is he wants to build up this money account because after the rapture when all these Jews miss the rapture and all these uh young Jewish Levitical priests miss the rapture they can continue to function in this third temple. I'm scratching my head saying, what did he say?
Is has this man flipped out?
It's either It's either Jesus Christ or the third temple.
Take your pick.
I wish I could speak to a a whole group of these radical Christian Zionists and to find out their mentality.
Now, we heard what Ted Cruz said. We heard what Mike Huckabe said. You can hear this guy that acts like a lunatic.
Uh Greg Lockach, you can hear him rant and rave, but what is the actual basis? I mean, what is their thinking?
They say that Jesus Christ, they're preaching to a crowd and say, "You must accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior.
He's the only way."
He they'll quote John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." But yet they turn over here and support the concept of a third temple.
It's blasphemous.
It's a demonic a demonic deception.
[snorts] Let's read John chapter 2 or part of it.
John chapter 2 and verse num number 13.
And the Jews Passover was at hand. And Jesus went up to Jerusalem and found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves and the changers of money sitting.
And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple and the sheep and the oxen and poured out the changers money and overthrew the tables.
and said unto them that sold doves, "Take these things hence, make not my father's house an house of merchandise."
And his disciples remembered that it was written, "The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up." Now, that's the setting of Jesus in the temple. Now, Jesus, when it says in the temple, it was on the outside of the temple. It was like Solomon's porch.
or in the courtyard of the temple.
And here these merchandisers were selling the sheep and the oxen and the doves for ceremonies because it was Passover time.
Now Jesus condemned.
He condemned their nefarious.
He condemned their evil ways.
He condemned them making merchandise of the ceremony of Passover.
The prices were probably exorbitant.
It was buy them cheap and sell them high.
And Jesus overturned the tables, ran those rascals out of the temple, and scattered the sheep and the and the oxen.
He was very upset.
They were making merchandise of the temple of Solomon, the second temple.
So the Jews were very angry at him.
In verse 18, then answered the Jews and said unto him, "What sign, what proof show thou unto us, seeing that you did these things?"
We're going to see a correlation here.
Jesus answered and said unto them, "Destroy this temple." Now, he was standing in a physical temple which was Heron, the word Heron.
But then he says, "Destroy this temple."
Now there's Solomon's temple.
There they were these merchandisers trying to sell these animals for sacrifice.
And then they challenged him and Jesus said, "Destroy this temple."
Naos, different word.
and in three days I will raise it up. He was not talking about Solomon's brick and mortar temple.
Then said the Jews, 40 and six years was this temple and building and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
But he spake of the temple of his body.
I want to read that again. But he spake of the temple of his body.
That's the true temple, not some physical brick and mortar building that Christian Zionists are wanting to build. It's an abomination.
It's an insult to the Holy Ghost.
It's an affront to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said unto them, and they believed the scripture and the word which Jesus had said.
So now we know what temple Jesus was building.
The temple of his body.
Now in Hebrews chapter 10, I want to go through this part of this chapter rather quickly because it is so powerful.
Verse number one.
For the law having a shadow, a shadow of good things to come and not the very image of the things.
It's it was only the shadow of the good things that were to come under the new covenant.
It was not the real thing.
It was only a forecasting shadow and not the very image of the things can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers there unto perfect.
This flies in the very face of every Christian Zionist that takes a nickel out of their pocket and sends it to Israel to support their cause and especially the cause of the new temple that they hope to build.
And even old secretary of the uh defense Peter Hegsth made a speech and I think he was over there in Palestine when he made it in the secular state of Israel that this would be a a beautiful place to build the third temple. If I'm not mistaken, he made that statement, folks. This is appalling.
For then would they not have ceased to be offered.
What the writer is saying is that if the animal sacrifices of that old temple structure were sufficient to cover the sins of Adam man, they would still be going on.
But no, they stopped because they were insufficient, insufficient to cover the sins of man.
For then would they not have ceased to be offered because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sin.
If they were effective, there'd be no guilt in sin.
It would have covered the sin of the men and women that offered the sacrifices.
But the Old Testament sacrifices were insufficient.
They were only a shadow. But in those sacrifices, there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
The high priest at the feast of atonement had to go in and make that sacrifice once again every year for himself, for his family, for the people, for the nation.
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sin.
Well, you know, Mr. Hegy, he said, 'Well, that's only for the Jews.
That is actually insulting the Jews said because he said well Jesus is for us quote Gentiles but Moses and the law is for the Jews for their salvation.
This is the very heart, the very crux of the matter concerning Zionism. It's Zionism is more than just a people living in Europe or the United States and catching an airplane and traveling and moving their taking their suitcase with them and moving to ancient Palestine, the secular state of Israel.
There's more to it than that.
One woman said, "Well, I believe in Christian Zionism because I believe in the state of Israel having a legal right to exist."
That was her extent of it. There's more to it than that.
Verse five, wherefore when he cometh into the world, that is Jesus Christ.
This is actually quoting Psalm chapter 40. Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body.
But a body hast thou prepared me for sacrifice?
Jesus did not bring a lamb. He was the lamb.
He didn't bring an animal, a fourlegged animal.
He gave his body in burnt offerings and sacrifice for sin. Thou has had no pleasure. None.
If the Lord did not have pleasure in the old sacrificial system of the old covenant under Moses, he will not have pleasure in a third temple in modern Jerusalem.
Then said I, Lo, I come in the volume of the book, it is written of me to do thy will, oh God.
Above, when he said, sacrifice and offerings, and burnt offerings, and offering for sin, thou wouldest not, neither had pleasure therein, which are offered by the law. This is pretty simple.
The Lord has no pleasure in animal sacrifice. Then said he, "Lo, I come to do thy will, oh God, to take away the first, that he may establish the second, to remove the old ceremonial laws, to fulfill the old ceremonial laws under a new terms, under terms of a new covenant.
I want to exalt Jesus Christ and Christ alone.
Not a church, not an organization, not somebody's ministry, not my ministry. I have no ministry.
This is this this quote my ministry quote unquote is really the word of God. That's it.
I don't call my this program Charles Jennings Ministry.
No, because that's an insult.
That's an insult.
It's the word of God.
I'm just a messenger that's here and will soon be gone.
Verse 10 of Hebrews 10. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
How can anybody say, "Well, I'm going to collect a bunch of money."
You recently, I saw where Greg Lockach and his church, I think, gave a check of several thousand. Anyway, I think it was I think it was over $300,000 for modern Israel.
Why didn't they feed the poor right outside their door?
And every priest stands daily ministering and offering oftent times the same sacrifices which can never take away sin.
I mean this is 101.
When anyone advocates building a third temple, when any Christian is in favor of building a third temple, it's slapping Jesus Christ right in the face.
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sin forever, forever, forever, sat down on the right hand of God, when Jesus was on the cross, John chapter 19, and he said, "It is finished.
No more sacrifice for sin. This is it."
He gave himself.
He gave his body, his physical body as the lamb of God from henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his foottool.
For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.
One offering, one sacrifice of his body.
And then someone says, "Yes, but we we have to send our money over there and support this third temple because once you This is their logic that I've heard.
Once we get this temple made, once we get this temple constructed and and you know, we get these Jewish quote Levitical uh young men in there to start the sacrifices and all the ceremonies that go along with it.
It'll help Jesus to come sooner in the rapture.
It will expedite the rapture.
You know, folks, I was born on a Friday, but it wasn't last Friday.
I knew better than that when I was 10 years old.
He says, "Wherefore the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us, for after that he had said before, the Holy Ghost speaking, this is the covenant that I will make with them." Now the writer of Hebrews had just gone through telling us that sins are covered only by one means and that is the body of Jesus Christ. Verse 10 and that any other sacrifice is not valid.
And he said, the writer says it was one offering that is effective forever.
And Jesus Christ sat down on the right hand of the of the authority or right hand of God.
And then he says, "Wherefore the Holy Ghost is a witness to these things."
As he said before, as the Holy Ghost spoke before, by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, men wrote, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord. I will put my law into their heart, and in their minds will I write them, and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now, where remission of these is, now where the remission of sins is, there is no more need for a offering for sin.
It's been taken care of.
This sin problem was taken care of by Jesus Christ.
And he says there is no more need.
The word need is not in the King James, but it says there is no more sacrifice for sin. It's it's plain.
It's clear.
There's no more necessity for a sacrifice.
Why a third temple?
The third temple concept in the minds of the rebbitical authorities is for and in the light of dispensationalism.
Futurism is to is part of the concept of building a Jewish kingdom on the earth.
a Jewish kingdom on the earth, not a Christian kingdom.
People are deluded.
They're deceived by this dispensational futuristic concept that after the rapture during the tribulation, you know, uh there's thousands of Jews that are going to be saved, 144,000 of them, and they're going to go around the world as flaming evangelists.
You know, I used to read stories like Jack and the Beanstalk and Elmer Fud and Hansel and Gretle and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Those are fairy tales.
And futurism, dispensationalism is in that same category.
They make up these fairy tales as they go along.
Verse number 19 says, "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, not by the blood of some animal.
not by the ceremony taking place inside of a new temple.
Jesus knew what he was talking about in Matthew 24.
When the disciples showed him the buildings of the temple, he said, "Boys, I'm going to destroy this place.
I'm going to destroy this place.
Not one stone is going to be left on another that's not been thrown down."
and he used the Roman army to do it.
And he did it about 38 years later.
That was the hand of God.
Now, if this third temple is ever built, whether with private money or American foreign aid money or whatever, do you think possibly the Lord might destroy it also?
Now Julian the Roman emperor he started building the third temple.
You can read it in the history book.
And the Lord sent a fire and an earthquake and destroyed the place.
Verse number 20. By the new and living way, folks, we are living in the new and living way in Christ.
In Christ and Christ alone is our salvation.
His sacrifice, and only his sacrifice, which he hath consecrated for us through the veil.
And the writer tells us that that veil was his flesh, his body. Jesus said, "In three days, I'll restore this temple.
When Jesus died, you know the story, the veil in that second temple, Solomon's temple or Herod's temple, whatever you want to call it, was torn from the top to the bottom.
It symbolized his flesh which divided the holy place from the most holy place.
Now we can enter in to the most holy place through his blood, through the veil, that is to say his flesh. and having an high priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart and hold fast the profession.
We jump down to verse 26.
For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remainth no more sacrifice for sin.
There is no more sacrifice.
They can establish a rebbitical order over there of quote Levitical young men.
They could kill animals from sunrise to sunset.
Totally ineffective.
There's no more sacrifice for sin.
Josephus the Jewish historian tells us that even after Jesus was crucified, buried, resurrected, that Jewish order continued to make sacrifices and carry on their ceremonies right on up to 70 AD when The Lord sent the Roman army and destroyed that place.
He meant to destroy that order.
In fact, it wasn't even biblically the Mosaic order.
It was the talic order.
The Lord had to get rid of the thing.
You think he's going to tolerate it today?
I don't care what our secretary of war has to say, or secretary of defense, whatever you want to call him.
You think the Lord's going to tolerate that?
Therefore remainth no more sacrifice for sin, but a fearful certain looking for of judgment and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversary. All this is based upon the rejection.
You see, this fiery judgment and this fiery indignation is based upon the rejection of the perfect sacrifice of the blood of Jesus Christ.
You might say, why do you why do you say that? Because he that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses.
How much sore punishment? Suppose ye shall he be thought worthy who hath trodden underfoot the son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing.
It means a thing of no value, an unholy thing, something that is worthless, ineffective, disregarded.
How much sore punishment, fiery indignation, and the writer even calls them those that reject the blood of Jesus the adversaries of Christ an unholy thing and hath done despite.
This word despite means insult.
despite unto the spirit of grace, that is the Holy Spirit of grace.
This is pretty serious stuff.
For we know him that hath said, "Vengeance belongth unto me. I will recompense, sayeth the Lord." And again, the Lord shall judge his people. It's a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
How did Jesus?
How did Jesus offer his blood on the altar? How did he do it?
Hebrews nine verse 13. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an hepher, sprinkling the unclean, sanctify to the purifying of the of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God. He offered his body, his very flesh, his blood through the Holy Spirit of God.
That's how he offered it.
Not in the temple of Solomon, but in the temple not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
He offered his blood.
Now you know why I will never be in favor of building a third temple.
Jesus is our temple.
We dwell in him and he dwells in his body.
He said I will build my church.
He didn't say I will build some physical temple. Paul goes on to say that know ye not that your body our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
So Christian Zionists take your pick.
It's either Jesus Christ or some abominable third physical temple over in modern Jerusalem.
Take your pick.
I will stand with the scripture.
I will stand with Jesus Christ.
Because this movement called Christian Zionism in the land, I'm not a prophet or the son of a prophet, but I think it's very obvious that this Christian Zionism that's being promoted so heavily and all of its aspects, both political financial, military, religious.
It's going to bring us to a crossroads in America.
I think we're fast approaching that, a crossroads in America.
as to who is on the Lord's side.
I want to be on the side of Jesus Christ and Christ alone.
Praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.
Hallelujah.
Thank you, Jesus, for your sacrifice.
Amen. And amen.
