The Calendar Plot custom data visualization

[00:00:00]It's a custom visualization that doesn't exist anywhere else. It's not something you can create by hitting the chart button in Excel. It's It's a custom visualization trying to communicate something very specific. This is just meant to show the dates when Apple releases their products. So, if you want to buy a new one and they're about, you know, if they always release in March and you were about to buy a new one in February, you might want to wait. So, you read this left to right. So, it This one goes all the way back to 2007 all the way through 2025. And then in each year, I have plotted all of the calendar dates kind of in the background. So, it starts at the top in January and every, you know, goes from Sunday to Saturday and then every week and just plots from January all the way down to December. So, you can see the date where Apple announced the iPhone, which is the box with the white background, and then you can see the date the product actually released and you can pick it up at the store or it would be delivered is the solid color box. This one goes all the way back to 2007 all the way through 2025. This This chart doesn't really have a name. In general, it's a timeline. I might call this a calendar timeline or a calendar plot.
