NVIDIA Slays the VAE: Real 4K AI Upscaling is Finally HereAdded:
The only thing better than Sydney Sweeney, of course, is Sydney Sweeney in 4K. And we are going to be taking a look at In Video's novel approach to upscaling using the latent space, which is just big words for saying they're using the AI to do the upscaling, and it's really good. So, hang in there. I'm going to show you how to get going with this real fast. Hey, everyone.
As we mentioned, this is In Video's way of getting in the game of doing work down in the pixel space. I told you before that things are moving towards replacing the VAE. You're seeing that all over the place with the different models that have been coming out. And here, once again, we have a plug-and-play diffusion decoder that replaces the VAE.
Essentially, they're shrinking these things down, making them faster, making them doing the work internally rather than externally. And it's really good.
As you can see, we went over here. Of course, this is the Sydney Sweeney image. Now, this image was originally 1024 by 720 or something like that. Uh I mean, you know, something like that. It was landscape, okay? Um now, it is literally over 4,000, which it is, and it's very good quality. Just like anything else um that you do with this kind of stuff, it's garbage in, garbage out. So, it's not going to um repair necessarily your images, right? Like Like, "Oh, it's got it's all fuzzy, and uh it's going to unfuzzy it." But, um it will [laughter] If you put a fuzzy in there, you're just going to have the same level of fuzz on a 4K level. So, it's actually very amazing, the fidelity that it keeps.
The absolute fastest way to get going with this is to actually be a member at get going fast.pro. And if you go over here, you're going to notice you sign in up here, do do do do do and you have an install with AI button. What that is going to do is actually going to download some agentic instructions, very comprehensive instructions that if you're using Claude or GPT codex, that sort of thing, you just give that that instructions, that will actually go ahead and do all of your installation for you. That is only available for members and only available at getgoinfaster.pro and I know it is so cool, isn't it? Now, also as you are per our usual agreement, you can also just click the download now button and you run the normal installer.
So, this is your.bat all this is going to do put all the dependencies, get it all going for you regardless. But, install with AI, hey, you can't beat that. That is that's good stuff.

Honestly, I made this so easy for this time that there's really not much to show you guys. You need to get clone this repository, which really easy stuff. And once you do that, all you got to do is all you got to do is run the install and it will install it and then you click the run. And it it is going to look a little something like this. Hit it.
Now, notice here, this is where we're going to put our input image. So, just like everything else, you just got to click that.
Go find something that you want to upgrade like this image here. And then down here, you can actually choose between a 2K decode or 4K decode. It goes surprisingly fast either way. You know, I mean, maybe about a minute, maybe a bit more. Obviously, I'm running a 4090, so it works good for me.
Doesn't take that long, but again, very impressive. This is only one 124 by 124.
I have pushed this up to over 4,000, which means you can go in there and see pores on their skin, which is just really cool stuff. Okay, all the settings down here you don't really need to mess with and all you do is just put this here and then click the decode with PID button.
Um, you could this unload model, that is just there if you're finding out that your resources are getting sucked down.
Sometimes when you run these things, you'll find oh man, I ran and it went so good, but now it's slogging. Okay, well, you know, we're all a little bit like that, aren't we? So, sometimes you just got to reset. That's what that unload models will do and then it'll just start kind of from the beginning again. Simple model, this is a very get This is a very get going fastish. Throw it in here, get your image, move it on. This is very good for when you're doing music album covers and stuff like this. Listen, if you're putting up stuff with TuneCore or you're putting up stuff, you know, with DistroKid or whatever and you got to get the perfect size, hey, this model is great cuz you can take your original thing and loop it to the correct position. Okay.
Um, but that's really simple. The big news of the day, of course, is the AI installations over here. New thing that we're going to be doing here for members, guys, uh, code, uh, these agents are it's the future, it's the way they're coming in. We're just going to be telling them what we want them to do and it's and they're going to be doing it. But here's the thing, you still have to know how what to tell them, right? It's just like you could have ChatGPT write you a poem, but if you don't know how to explain the type of poem, it's just going to create nonsense.
