Internet Computer (ICP) Next Move | Major Decision Zone Ahead

[00:00:01]ICP is once again approaching a very important resistance zone and the market has followed the structure from our previous analysis almost perfectly.

[00:00:10]ICP is currently trading around $2.8.

[00:00:15]In the last update, we highlighted the rejection from the 2.9 resistance zone and explained that after the rejection, price had dropped back toward the rising trend line support.

[00:00:28]At that time, we said that as long as the trend line continued holding, buyers would still have a chance to make one more push toward resistance for another breakout attempt.

[00:00:38]And that is exactly what happened.

[00:00:40]Price respected the trend line, buyers defended the structure, and ICP started moving higher again.

[00:00:46]Now, the market is once again approaching the same 2.9 resistance area that has been acting as a barrier for the past several attempts. This is where things get interesting because unlike the previous test, ICP is now coming into resistance after successfully holding trend line support and rebuilding momentum. That means the market is preparing for another decision point.

[00:01:09]The key question is whether buyers can finally break through this level.

[00:01:14]If ICP manages to break above 2.9 and more importantly, if the daily candle start closing above that resistance, then the breakout will have confirmation behind it.

[00:01:26]That would be a major shift in structure.

[00:01:29]A confirmed breakout above 2.9 would signal that buyers are regaining control and it would open the door for the next bullish leg higher. In that scenario, we would start targeting the next liquidity zones and resistance levels above the market as momentum shifts back to the upside.

[00:01:48]However, traders should also keep an eye on the bearish scenario because resistance is still resistance until it is broken. If ICP gets rejected from 2.9 again, then the market could remain trapped inside the current range. And the more important level to watch in that case becomes the trend line support below.

[00:02:07]As long as the trend line continues holding, buyers still have a chance.

[00:02:12]But if ICP loses the trend line with confirmation, then the entire recovery structure starts weakening.

[00:02:18]And once that happens, the probability shifts back toward downside continuation. The next major support below comes in around $2.3. That becomes the key downside target if sellers regain control and break the current structure. The trend line held perfectly.

[00:02:37]Price bounced exactly as expected. ICP is now approaching the 2.9 resistance again. A breakout with daily candle closes above resistance confirms the next bullish leg higher. But if price gets rejected and eventually loses the trend line, then the direction shifts back toward the $2.3 support. Right now, ICP is sitting near a major decision zone, and the next reaction from resistance will likely determine the direction of the next significant move.
