Modern warfare increasingly relies on unmanned systems, with drones serving multiple critical functions including reconnaissance, precision strikes, logistics interdiction, and force protection. In the Ukraine-Russia conflict, Ukrainian forces have developed and deployed advanced drone technologies such as the Behemoth strike drone (70 kg warhead, 300 km range) and the Pyvovars interceptor drone (3,500+ successful kills against Shahed aircraft), while also creating specialized counter-drone units to neutralize enemy ambush tactics. This technological adaptation has proven decisive in disrupting enemy logistics, neutralizing naval threats, and achieving battlefield superiority across multiple domains.

RUSSIA SETS A DEADLY TRAP! Ukrainian Forces DESTROY Drone Ambushes on the Front Line!Added:
58 combat clashes have been recorded on the front since the beginning of the current day. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The most tense situation is in the areas of Pokrovsk and Huliaipole.
For more details about Ukrainian middle strikes and the successes of Ukraine's defense forces on the front line, stay tuned.
>> The military camp of Russia's 64th separate motorized rifle brigade, which took part in the occupation of Bucha in 2022, [music] came under attack by Ukrainian drones. The operation was carried out by the unmanned [music] systems units Tak Mediar and Raid. The drones attacked training grounds and locations of Russian troops nearly 100 km deep from the front line. 21 successful hits on enemy targets were confirmed. Preliminary reports indicate that in the area of Primorsky Posad, the 64th brigade suffered losses of more than 30 servicemen, nine of whom were killed. An equal number were wounded, and another 13 are listed as missing in action. Data on losses at the training ground of the three. The data on losses at the Isbynka training ground, which is used by the third army of the Russian Federation, are being clarified.
Meanwhile, in the southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy army assaulted the positions of Ukrainian units near Veterinar Noye, Isbytskoye, and Ternovaya. In the Pokrovsk sector, fighting took place in the areas of the settlements of Rodynskoye, Novooleksandrivka, and Hryshyne.
Successful actions were also carried out towards Belitskoye. And near Huliaipole, the defense forces successfully repelled attacks by the invaders near Zlahoda, Yelena Kostyantynivka, as well as in the direction of Vozdvyzhenka.
>> Our airborne assault force, our SBS unit, and the mechanized formation, which among other things is conducting active counterattacks in order to weaken the positions of the Russians, force them to change their plans, and redeploy [music] their troops in some areas.
Troops from the same Pokrovsky direction are being moved to other sections of the front to cover them because there too dark clouds are gathering over the Russians and they will be forced to [music] reconsider some of their plans.
The counter-attacking actions of the northern defense allowed us to clear the northern zone and accordingly [music] to break through into the depths of the Russian occupiers defensive territory and in fact today we also managed to regain some technical positions. On the Novopavlivka sector of the front we succeeded in [music] reclaiming them. So we can see that this active Ukrainian defense a Ukrainian know-how is by and large yielding results today.
>> At the Kostiantynivka direction the Russian occupiers are increasingly using the so-called drone ambush tactics trying to disrupt Ukrainian logistics.
To do this FPV drones are landed near roads at turns or on the upper floors of buildings. There they wait for a target to appear without draining the battery.
As the soldiers of the Phoenix unit explained after spotting a target the operator lifts the drone and tries to strike. Due to the increasing number of such ambushes Ukrainian soldiers have been forced to create separate teams dedicated solely to searching for and destroying these waiting drones.
Meanwhile the UAV forces of the Ukrainian armed forces have brought the entrances to temporarily occupied Debaltseve in the Donetsk region under fire control. According to the 20th separate K-2 Brigade of unmanned systems Ukrainian drones struck a section of the Debaltseve-Alchevsk road which Russian forces used to deliver supplies. The published footage shows destroyed trucks and the detonation of ammunition on one of the enemies key logistical routes.
Ukrainian military note that such strikes complicate the movement of Russian occupiers as well as the delivery of equipment [music] and ammunition.
>> Ukrainian defense forces are indeed trying to bring these routes under fire control. The so-called Novorossiya the Tavrida highway everything that serves the southern operational zone at the front and accordingly supports the occupation authorities and the occupying units that are only preparing to enter the And accordingly [music] these strikes undermined the resources of the Russian army.
In just 1 week, more than half a thousand vehicles belonging to the Russian occupiers have been hit. FPV drone operators from the Alpha unit [music] of the Security Service of Ukraine trucks and special equipment used by the invaders to supply their troops came under attack. The Security Service of Ukraine notes that logistics remains one of the key elements in supporting Russian units on the front line. That is why Ukrainian soldiers are deliberately [music] destroying vehicles carrying fuel. Ammunition and personnel are also being targeted while still en route to their positions. Such actions complicate the rotation of Russian troops and reduce their ability to conduct combat operations, the Security Service of Ukraine summarized. In Russians are imposing many restrictions on the movement of their vehicles, for example, on logistics, a speed of at least 120 km/h is required on certain sections of the road where they expect strikes from Ukrainian drones. Each vehicle must have three people, crew members.
One of them is equipped with a drone detector. This does not save them, however.
Just imagine a truck speeding along at 120 or even more kilometers per hour.
Some of them simply fall apart while on the move.
And on top of that, there are drones flying around and 1,430 Russian occupiers were eliminated over the past day by the Ukrainian defense forces. Thus, the total losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the full-scale invasion have already exceeded 1,362,000 people. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed two Russian tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, 70 artillery systems, five multiple rocket launchers, and air defense systems, as well as nearly half a thousand units of enemy vehicles and special equipment.
>> Units of Ukraine's unmanned systems forces last night in Russia's Taganrog, an Iskander operational tactical missile system was destroyed, as well as two long-range anti-submarine 2142 aircraft at once.
They are used for naval reconnaissance and anti-submarine missions.
The attack was confirmed by the commander of the unmanned systems forces, Robert Madyar, brovdi. He also stated that other targets on the airfield were hit as well.
The details are still being clarified.
In addition, drones from the unmanned systems forces struck a number of targets in Russian oil infrastructure deep behind enemy lines. According to Ukrainian military sources, 23 enemy targets were hit overnight, including an oil tanker from the so-called Russian shadow fleet, as well as several oil depots. In particular, the Kurgannefteprodukt oil depot in the Rostov region was hit, as well as a base and the marine oil terminal in Feodosia in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also confirmed the strike on the oil depot Armavir in the Krasnodar region, which is located about 500 km from the Ukrainian border.
>> Today, I want to acknowledge our Ukrainian units that are carrying out our tasks for long-range sanctions and mid-range strikes. There are good results. Our plan for such sanctions is being implemented in response to Russian strikes. I thank all our warriors who ensure the reach of such Russian targets. First and foremost, military and fuel logistics on the temporarily occupied territory along the coast of our Sea of Azov. Our drones are now reaching this depth of temporarily occupied territory more and more often, and this is already resulting in a fuel shortage in Crimea.
>> They conduct reconnaissance, deliver precise strikes against the enemy, transport ammunition and provisions, and also evacuate the wounded.
Ukrainian drone technologies are rapidly developing and improving.
For example, recently the defense forces introduced a new type of strike drone, Behemoth.
The drone is capable of carrying dozens of kilograms of explosives over a distance of 300 km.
It is already being actively used by Ukrainian forces at the front.
What weapons are already changing the rules of the game in Ukraine's favor?
Find out more in our report.
>> Here is where its warhead is located.
The first part is a high explosive fragmentation section. The second part is a bit further back. Instead of fuel tanks, it has a thermobaric warhead.
>> This is a true giant of the skies.
Behemoth is a unique Ukrainian heavyweight among drones. The drone has already seen combat. One of its features is the ability to fly at extremely low altitudes, making the UAV almost invisible to enemy air defenses.
>> The total warhead is 70 kg. Currently, this device can fly up to 300 km, and we have other products that can fly up to 1,000 km.
>> Behemoth belongs to the class of middle strike drones. It has already entered mass production and is being used by Ukraine's defense forces.
The UAV supports fully autonomous, semi-automatic, and FPV control modes.
>> Overall, it has performed very well. The military have left very positive feedback. They are very satisfied with it.
And >> This ground robot droid has already become a legend on the front line.
Fighters from the fifth assault brigade used it to blow up a Russian armored vehicle along with its crew.
The developers say this is the first documented case in the world where a wheeled robot destroyed equipment in combat and also captured Russian occupiers.
>> Three prisoners were taken, as seen in the video. One of them was wounded. Why is it important to use ground-based systems in such cases? Because a prisoner who tells you everything is fine, I'm surrendering, might at the last moment throw a grenade at your feet because he doesn't actually want to surrender. And in such a situation, when a ground-based system is present, what can he do? At most, he can only damage the metal.
>> Another type of Ukrainian drone reliably protects the skies. The Pyvovars on is a hunter of enemy aerial targets. Its body is printed on a 3D printer.
>> 6 months ago, we introduced it on the front line. Now, it is very effective in use against Shaheds. They have about 3,500 successful Shahed kills to their credit. The Pyvovars on itself can reach speeds of up to 310 km per hour. It has a modular system. It is the cheapest interceptor in the world.
For the Ukrainian army, it costs about $1,000.
A warhead of up to 800 g can be placed in this compartment. The camera is very easy to remove and can be replaced with a night vision or AI-powered one.
>> Since the beginning of 2026 alone, the state has delivered almost half a million UAVs and robotic systems to Ukrainian defenders. More than 31 billion hryvnias have already been allocated to the drone program.
International partners have separately earmarked more than 2 and 1/2 billion dollars for the development of Ukrainian unmanned technologies. According to the Ministry of Defense, Ukraine has already become a world leader in drone warfare.
Today, more than 450 Ukrainian companies are creating cutting-edge FPV interceptor drones and AI-powered systems that operate even under intense electronic jamming.
>> The Russian fleet in the Black Sea has been virtually neutralized, stated the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during his trip to Odessa, where a meeting with the naval command took place.
Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the defense forces are dictating their own terms here.
The Ukrainian military leadership conducted an inspection of the Navy strike units in Odessa and announced the scaling up of unmanned systems and missile complexes. Neptune for the complete destruction of the Russian fleet.
The Black Sea operational zone is one of the components of the theater of operations where Ukraine's defense forces dictate their own terms to the Russian invaders, disrupt the enemy's aggressive plans, and carry out their own active operations. The presence of the Russian fleet in the Black and Azov Seas has been virtually neutralized. The role of unmanned and crewless systems is becoming decisive in all domains, including at sea. Therefore, our task is to scale up production, quickly implement new solutions, and act proactively. We will strengthen the combat capabilities of our naval and boat forces to counter enemy maritime and aerial drones of the enemy.
Oleksandr Syrskyi, commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Telegram.
