The moment we claim 'I know this already,' we stop growing and begin to rot; true wisdom comes from continuous learning, reading, listening, and seeking mentors, as wisdom transforms the heart rather than just filling the head.

FULLTANK MONDAY: The Most Dangerous Words: “I Know This Already”
Added:The day you stop learning [music] is the day you start rotting.
Charlie Jones said, [music] "People who know the most know they know so little, while people who know nothing [music] want to take all day telling you that they know it all." [laughter] Zigg Ziggler compared people like these to ripe [music] fruits hanging from trees. As long as they're growing, they're still green. But once they ripen, [music] they are ready to rot. People who say, "I know this stuff already," are saying they are ripe fruits.
[music] I've decided this a long time ago. I'll never ripen. I'm going to keep on growing until I'm 100red years old.
Because of this reason, [music] I have nurtured three habits in my life.
First, I keep reading. Yep, I'd rather buy a new book than a new shirt or a new pair of shoes or a new cell [music] phone. Number two, I keep listening.
This is the reason why I don't mind sometimes being caught in traffic.
[music] My car is a university in wheels. If every [music] day I listen to talks and podcasts during my travel time in 3 [music] to four years finally number three I meet my [music] mentors regularly. Oh my gosh I love talking to them. I love picking their brains and catching their fire. I love talking to people with character that I [music] admire.
People who never ripen. people who will never rot. [music] One day there was this 80-year-old man who was reading a very difficult book and the friend beside him, a young friend, looked at him and was astounded.
[music] At your age, you're still reading books like that. Why? You know that already.
And the 80-year-old man said, I do not read to learn. I read to become [music] who and that's exactly why I [music] keep reading and listening to talks and having a uh [music] a a wonderful group of mentors. It's not just learning bits [music] of knowledge. It's taking that knowledge and applying it into my daily life so that I grow into a more loving human being. [music] I am an eternal student. And in today's gospel, [music] Jesus talks about it. He talks about the queen of Sheba. She traveled from a far away country just to listen to the wisdom of Solomon. She didn't say, "I'm too busy." [music] Or, "That's too far." Or, "I know that already." No, she sought wisdom. [music] And Jesus said, "Someone greater than Solomon is here." Friend, [music] that someone is Jesus. Every day he invites you to sit at his feet to listen to learn to be changed because wisdom is not just information. Wisdom is [music] transformation.
Knowledge fills your head but wisdom forms your heart. The Queen of Sheba [music] traveled for Solomon's wisdom.
But today we don't have to travel too far. Jesus is near. Open the Bible.
Pray. Listen. Humble [music] yourself.
Ask for help. Learn from people ahead of you. Never ripen. [music] Keep growing.
The wisest people are not those who know everything. They are those who know [music] they still need Jesus. Here's my big question. Answer the question in [music] the comments. What is one thing you're learning right now that [music] is helping you become a better person?
It doesn't matter what area in your life. share it and encourage other people. And parents, please listen. This is why I believe in homeschooling.
Education is not just about passing exams. [music] It's about forming the heart, the mind, the soul, and the character of a child.
[music] If you want a homeschool partner that will help you raise your children to love God, love family, love learning, check out our very own Catholic Filipino Academy homeschool. Visit our Facebook page, [music] CFA Homeschool today. Who knows, [music] it might be the blessing you have been praying for. Come, let us pray. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. [music] Amen. Lord, give me a humble heart.
Remove from me the pride that says I know this already. Teach me [music] to seek wisdom every day. Help me to keep growing, to keep listening, to keep learning, to keep becoming the person [music] you want me to become. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. And amen. Once again, parents, to know more about homeschooling, whether it fits you and your child or your family, [music] visit our Facebook page, CFA Homeschool.
I repeat, visit our Facebook [music] page, CFA Homeschool. God bless you.
